Member of A Group
Hi There,
I'm trying to write a portlet that displays a Group (selected in a user preference) and its members, along with certain attributes of those memebers. We're using the 5.02 EDK, which I remember hearing gives you great access to the Plumtree API, but we can't figure out how to use the PRC to get the list of users in a particular group.

Hi Karen,
While you can look up groups, you can't look up the group membership with the PRC. You can find a sample of the server API call that will enable you to look up groups if you search the discussions.

Using member sorting and grouping with two reports sharing rows

I have a problem with one report and I need some help or advise here.
I have two dimensions with dynamic expansion in rows (PRODUCT, MATERIAL), and I use the option Member Sorting and Grouping at Member selector to obtain the total amount of PRODUCT group by PARENTH1:

Select one record for each member of the group

am having a table where in i will be having data for so many group members. i need to fetch data for a particular group members whose number of rows of data may be more in numbers (but i want only one row of data for each member of the group)

BPM 11g - FYI task to send a copy to each member of a group
In BPM 11g I am trying to send an FYI task to each member of a group. They should each get their own copy of the task so that it does not get removed from their inbox when the first person dismisses it.
I was not successful in getting multiple copies of the task using FYI type even when multiple users were defined in the participant list. So, I changed the participant type to parallel. This was successful in sending mulitiple copies when I defined a participant list of hard coded users, but the process stopped and waited until at least one of the users dismissed it (so the FYI only behavior changed, but I can get around that with a parallel process flow).
Still using parallel participant type, I have been trying to change from my hard coded list of users to a security group of users. If I set assignment to the group, only one task is created for the group. So, I have been trying to assign to users and use the expression ids:getUsersInGroup('LoanAnalyticGroup') to get the users in this group. I have tried several approaches to this expression but can't get it to work.
Has anyone else successfully implemented sending tasks to all members of a group in 11g? Any advice?Hi all,

The function ids:getUsersInGroup doesnt return value.
Even i imported identityservice.xsd and is_config .xsd and created variable using the *"users"* element of identityservice.xsd schema and assigned the value to this variable.
But Audit always says
*"XPath query string returns multiple nodes.*
*According to BPEL4WS spec 1.1 section 14.3, The assign activity part and query should not return multipe nodes.*
*Please check the BPEL source at line number "72" and verify the part and xpath query "*

The 'not member of any group' smart group stopped working
Since upgradng to Lion I notice that the Smart Group in Address book which I set to:
"Card - is not member of - any group"
has stopped working.
I used to find this very useful since I like all my contacts to be assigned to one group, and this helps me spot any I missed when adding new contacts. However it is now always empty, even after I created a new contact and did not assign it to any group.
Is this a known bug?
If not, how do I go about bringing it to the attention of Apple?http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

Cannot Add user to CMC Group when they are a member of LDAP group
On PreProduction Server CMC
Softerra LDAP browser used to verify user is a member of LDAP group
User does not show as a member of that group in the CMC

For kicks I logged into the CMC on Production and I found the user is correctly showing as a member of the Group

Check if you have also mapped in both servers the same groups. It might be that there are some groups missing in the Pre-prod.
Also, try restarting the CMS. I have seen similar issues that are solved after forcing the recreation of the graph.
If after the restart you still can't see the groups, check the mapping on the LDAP server. It might be that both servers do not use the same attribute mappings.

Manual Path:-
1.Type dsa.msc in run command of IT session(we using it to connect remote desktop).
2. Select the domain & right click (EX:-corp.ds.xxyyzz.com) and select "Find" to find the user form the domain.
3. Type the user name in the Name field and click on "Find Now" button user name will be displayed in search result.
4. Double click on this user ID and select "Member Of" tab.
5. Select any member of group from the Name section then click on "Remove" button.
6. Finally click on "Apply" and "OK" button.
Kindly help me out to do this by using vb script.

AB Smart Group "is not member of" a group not working
After having some trouble with AB over time (group members disappearing after some time syncing via MobileMe), I went through the 1700 cards one by one and deleted all the groups, and old cards, now am down to 1500, with a main Group of about 900. So simple math would say that there are 600 "not a member of" the main Group, or, #1, am I missing something there?
I'd like to have my wife go through those that are not in the Group and delete those cards she doesn't need. So I tried a Smart Group with the one parameter that the Card is not a member of the Group. The result was 64 cards, not 600.
So question #2 is what's going wrong here, am I misunderstanding or is this a flaw somehow?

It is not required to resolve the SID’s to find user name.. My issue is, when I type user account in administrators group it will be scattered and am unable
to run any script in command, it gives me any error you don’t have administrator privilege. Even in administrator account also.
Please help

Can a non group or team member subscribe to group calendar
So we have a group web calendar maintained by the managers.
By using permissions in the web service, we can allow "authenticated users" to view the web based calendar.
However if you are not a member of the group that publishes that web based calendar you can not subscribe to it using iCal.app. Only members of the group can successfully subscribe.
We need to have some kind of restrictions to prevent the general public from viewing the calendar but would like for anyone employed by the company to subscribe using iCal so that events are up to date in iCal.
Any thoughts on how to do this?
I have fiddled with webDAV permissions and the SACL in Server Admin but have only been able to successfully restrict access to the web interface of the calendar. Non team members can view but not edit.It can't be done

I am facing a weird issue during the export of a group to a log file (xml).
I have configured my ADLDS management agent such as the export run profile exports data into a XML Ffile:
Everything is fine in the XML, I see my new accounts, the attributes updated for accounts but for an unknown reason the group which should contains accounts does
not contain the DN values.
It contains the tags <dn-value> and <dn> but <dn> is empty

SharePoint 2013 workflow 'If current user is a member of a group'
I would like my workflow to check if the user who created the current item is a member of a group, preferably an Active Directory group but if not a SharePoint group.

I would suggest you to use the SharePoint 2013 style workflow, as we need to implement latest one, may be 2010 style workflows will be removed with the latest version of SharePoint later. And also other thing, you will not have to depend on the other
