Send email to each member of a group

How can I send a mail to each member of a group with the Email activity? It seems I can only send the mail to the grup address...

Can you please elaborate what you want to achieve.

BPM 11g - FYI task to send a copy to each member of a group

In BPM 11g I am trying to send an FYI task to each member of a group. They should each get their own copy of the task so that it does not get removed from their inbox when the first person dismisses it.
I was not successful in getting multiple copies of the task using FYI type even when multiple users were defined in the participant list. So, I changed the participant type to parallel. This was successful in sending mulitiple copies when I defined a participant list of hard coded users, but the process stopped and waited until at least one of the users dismissed it (so the FYI only behavior changed, but I can get around that with a parallel process flow).
Still using parallel participant type, I have been trying to change from my hard coded list of users to a security group of users. If I set assignment to the group, only one task is created for the group. So, I have been trying to assign to users and use the expression ids:getUsersInGroup('LoanAnalyticGroup') to get the users in this group. I have tried several approaches to this expression but can't get it to work.
Has anyone else successfully implemented sending tasks to all members of a group in 11g? Any advice?

The function ids:getUsersInGroup doesnt return value.
Even i imported identityservice.xsd and is_config .xsd and created variable using the *"users"* element of identityservice.xsd schema and assigned the value to this variable.
But Audit always says
*"XPath query string returns multiple nodes.*
*According to BPEL4WS spec 1.1 section 14.3, The assign activity part and query should not return multipe nodes.*
*Please check the BPEL source at line number "72" and verify the part and xpath query "*

am having a table where in i will be having data for so many group members. i need to fetch data for a particular group members whose number of rows of data may be more in numbers (but i want only one row of data for each member of the group)

Can we send email to a member as when he is added to the Oppty Team?

Can we send email to a member as when he is added to the Oppty Team without any condition by picking the email id from the User object?
I mean just send an email to the new user when it is created in the oppty team
I think about using workflow,record type 'Opportunity Team', trigger event 'When new record save'
but the send to email only have 2 options, one is Specific user,the other is specific email address, no send to email id which come from the user object.
do you have any suggestion?

I try to use JoinFieldValue('<User>',[<UserId>],'<EMailAddr>') in the Specific Email Address, no matter the new created user or the user which I log in, both email Account don't receive any email

How to send emails from an iPad to a group set up in contacts?

Apple Contacts "groups" show up in iOS7 contacts on my iPad, synced from iMac.
But I cannot get the group list of contacts to enter automatically into "to" on the iPad as happens automatically on the desktop iMac. So the "groups" on the iPad really doesn't have any functionality other than giving one a list of who is in a group per my assignment on my iMac.
So I end up entering manually each individual in a group in the "to" line when I want to send an email to a group from my iPad. On the iMac, selecting a contacts group will automatically list the addresses of the people I have put into a group. A known problem, and any solution?

Thanks. So matters haven't changed. Ipad and iohone systems still not make use of the groups created in OSX Contacts, although one can "see" the groups synced through iCloud. They just do not function as real distribution lists in Mail.
With the Mailshot app, one creates Mailshot groups with Mailshot group name. It's as smooth as a work around can get.
Silly that Apple iOS folks never got around to connecting the contact groups now listed in iOS Contacts through iCloud syncing to also be fully functional in iOS Mail for the purpose of group emailing.

Sending emails for each record from tabular form

I currently have a requirements management tabular form that used to update or set job requirements inactive and/or covered.
We're a staffing agency and have salesmen across the country that will use this tabular form to quickly manage their requirements to mark them as covered or inactive if the position has been filled.
The multi-row update works fine since the form was built using the wizard, but I need to be able to send out an email for each record that's been marked as covered in the tabular form.
How can this be accomplished?
I'm running Oracle 12c and Apex 4.2.0 on a windows 2008 R2 server.

I took a different approach from what I originally suggested. Since the tabular form is displaying only reqs that eligible to be covered, I chose to construct a process that would read the database after the reqs table was updated. The code should find recent reqs covered by the salesman and then send out an email for each covered req.
Since I cannot see the data structure of your reqs table, I guessed the data type and size for the local variables in the DECLARE section, you many need to adjust these.
Give this code a shot and let's see where we get. By the way, the naming conventions of your database are in need of naming standards.
The process needs to occur After Submit and after the Automatic Row Processing (DML) process that is updating the reqs table. Make sure that the process sequence number is greater than the Automatic Row Processing (DML) sequence number.

I have a script which will send a single email to a number of recipients but I wanted it to send individual emails to the selected messages. I also wanted the script to extract the first name from the sender field. The problem I've had with that is the sender field reads something like "Joe Blogs via PayPal" I'd be happy with "Joe Blogs" if I could remove the "via PayPal". I found a script to remove words from text

I.e. at first it tries to resolve user using ResolvePrincipal() method. If it is not resolved (info == null) email is not sent. But if it is - it first checks that email is not empty. If it is not - it adds email to the MailMessage.To recipients list. If
it is empty it checks whether the principal info represents Sharepoint group. If yes - it will send email to each member of the group.
So it may be so that you try to send email to external user (which is not supported according to the code above), or resolved principal doesn't have email specified.

Send Email to both (home) and (work)

I would like to send to my contact list in Address book both their (home) and (work) address in one import, and it is only allowing me to highlight one or the other.
Is it possible.

This is not something I have done, and I am just thinking out loud. It seems to me that you will need to have double entries in address book for each member in the group, one entry with the home address, and the second with the business address. Then create two separate groups with the respective entries from Address Book, home and business. Then when you type in the name of the group, the addresses in each group, home and business, should fill in.
There may be a better way to do this, and if I find a better answer, I will get back to you.

Outlook add-in breaks sending emails

I'm loving my new iPhone 6. But my newly installed iCloud add-in for Outlook 2010 on my Windows 8.1 PC is causing some difficulties.
I can't send email, most of the time. This problem started when I installed iCloud, and stopped when I disabled the iCloud plug-in in Outlook. It's random; some emails I can send, but most, not. And, I'm not the first to have this problem and it's been going on for years, apparently. BT Yahoo issue: cannot send emails to predefined a...

I have recently had issues sending emails to a pre defined address group from my bt yahoo account via Outlook express. Previously i had 2 groups set up with less than 100 email addresses (81 and 76) and this has worked fine for the past few years. However now it displays an error stating 'one' of the recipients is not valid.
I spoke to online tech help yesterday who confirmed that as part of the ongoing migration the limit has been reduced (temporarily) to 50 named recipients. I have reduced the groups down to below 50 but still recieve the same message. After calling BT they didn't really have any suggestions other than 'It's an issue with Outlook so a Microsoft problem'
I have not applied any patches to Outlook express (it's quite old) or changed any settings (such as SMTP authentication) so from my perspective it seems like a problem related to the migration by BT of bt yahoo accounts?
Does anyone have any information of this issue and can assist?

Thanks for the question. You can actually configure this behavior from Mail preferences:
1. Choose Preferences from the Mail menu.
2. Click Composing.
3. Deselect the checkbox for "When sending to a group, show all member addresses".
When you send an email to the group, only the groups name will be seen.

Can't send email to an icloud group in address book

Hi
I have set up some groups in icloud. I called one of these groups "Test", with only myself as a group member. In address book, when I right click to send email to "Test", it fires up a new email with the word Test in the email "to" field. If I try to send the email I get the error message "Test" doesn't seem to be a valid email address. It doesn't seem to be filling in the group email addresses in the "to" field.
Am I doing something wrong?, or is this a known or unknown bug?
I have other groups set up but I obviously don't want to send test emails out hence the test group "Test"
Also when I edit the distribution list and right click the group name, "send email to "Test" is greyed out.
