Menubar component and xml issue

Hi folks,
I am using the menuBar component that ships with mx2004pro,
to choose galleries in an xml gallery. The gallery selector code is
this:
It's the second to last line, bassmenu.childNodes.onRelease =
function, that I am having trouble with. bassmenu is the instance
name of the component. The menubar component is loading the xml
just fine. If I change the above to "bassmenu.onRelease =
function..." the top level buttons on the bar will change the
gallery. I just can't figure out how to address the child nodes of
the menubar.
I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on this, bought and
read a book, read every tutorial and help file out there, any help
would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to post the source
and the xml if that helps.

The documentation is wrong.  Your payload should include the commands you want to deploy.  So, use:
   cwcli config import -u admin -p [Base64PWD] -device [DisplayName]
   -f
  interface FastEthernet0/21
  switchport access vlan 2400
  switchport mode access
  no cdp enable
  spanning-tree portfast
  ip verify source
  shutdown
end

  • Component and hdmi issues

    So I wanted to see if I could send the ATV signal from both component and hdmi outputs. Currently, I am using HDMI only to my Pioneer Pro 1120 at the 720 setting, but I wanted to send the signal to another tv (with component only) as well.
    I could not output both signals, but when I went to output only the component signal, I could not get a signal (even on the Pioneer which auto adjusts the video resolution based on the input). Do I need to reboot when changing the AV output? I have tried the component on two different tv's. Do I have a bad component output on my ATV or am I missing a setting step somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Yes. I just had mine replaced today and it works nice!

  • CWCLI and XML issue on RME 4.3

    Hi All,
         On a Windows 2008 Server with SP1 running LMS 3.2, I have a script that creates IOS configuration files with the appropriate XML command file for use with the cwcli config import function.  The XML file contains the following tags and values:
    <payload>
    <command>
       cwcli config import -u admin -p [Base64PWD] -device [DisplayName]
      <arg>
       -f
      </arg>
      <arg-val>
       D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\tftpboot\[DisplayName].cfg.[ID]
      </arg-val>
    </command>
    </payload>
    When I execute the sample script to invoke the Servelet, as provided in the RME users guide, I get the information that the job is running:
    <!-- Executing: cwcli config import -u admin -p [Base64PWD] -device [DisplayName] -f D:\PROGRA~2\CSCOpx\temp\argValFile.txt -->
    <cwcli> INFO - Devices to be attempted in the job:

    <cwcli> INFO - The transport mode used is TFTP
    SUMMARY
    ========
            Successful: import
    <!-- Processing complete -->
    After this is where it gets weird!  On the switch - having previously issued the command "term mon" - I see the following output displayed:
    Apr 28 16:56:38: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by cw_2000_hq on vty2 (10.185.64.101)

    and checking the device I see that no changes have taken place.  Inspection of the file that was sent via TFTP to the device indicates why - it contains garbage:
       D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\tftpboot\[DisplayName].cfg.[ID]
    end
    The file I am specifying between the XML <arg-val> tags contains these commands:
    interface FastEthernet0/21
      switchport access vlan 2400
      switchport mode access
      no cdp enable
      spanning-tree portfast
      ip verify source
      shutdown
    end
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, please..?
    Thanks,
    SRGi

  • Installing Oracle TEXT and XML DB Components on New Instance

    I was told this may be the best place to ask my quesion
    I have set up a New Instance or Oracle on a Solaris Unix box that already had Oracle 10g installed.
    The instance was created fine, however I need the Oracle Text Component and XML DB Component installed as well.
    Those are not installed with this instance. They are installed on the other instance on the box that was setup when oracle was first installed.
    How can I add these components to this new instance?
    DBCA was not used when the instance was created. The DBA here does not care for this tool.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    the installation of XMLDB is described in the XML manual: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14259/appaman.htm#sthref2372
    the installation of Text is described on Metalink in document 280713.1.
    A nice document to start is on Metalink, it is document 472937.1. It gives Oracle components and the links how to install the components on different versions of Oracle.

    Not really sure of your question. The XML components are useful
    in any application where I am processing documents or data with
    an XML structure. The choice to use XML can be based on quite a
    range of requirements due to its declarative syntax and open
    standards. If you give me a specific application, I can perhaps
    be more helpful.

  • File upload component and text area issue

    Hi guys,
    I have static text, text area and button on the same page. Text area binded to session bean value and all works fine (I can input text into text area and press button to save changes).
    After adding file upload component to the same page I have got a problem - now after page refreshing the non english characters inside text gets trashed.
    Other non english characters - inside static text components remains the same - the problem relates only to text area.
    It looks like file upload component code has an encoding related bug. Is that a known issue?
    And may be somebody have a workaround?
    Thanks.

    Hi Rom@n,
    I did some checking and this issue is currently logged as: 6442528. It is scheduled to be available in the next patch release. I'm sorry I don't have a time frame for the patch since it is still waiting for other fixes.
    Sorry for the inconvience.

  • Component and renderer can't share the same name in face-config.xml

    Hi All,
    I've noticed that a component and a renderer can't share the same name in <face-config.xml>.
    For instance,
    <component>
    <component-type>tree</component-type>
    <component-class>com.xxx.tree.component.Tree</component-class>
    </component>
    <render-kit>
    <renderer>
    <renderer-type>tree</renderer-type>
    <renderer-class>com.xxx.tree.renderer.Tree</renderer-class>
    </renderer>
    </render-kit>
    generates a cryptic error message.
    It's not a big deal but would be nice to support it.
    The workaround of course is to use a different name for the component and renderer (tree and treeRenderer for instance)

    i dont know why it doesn't work for you. It works for me alright. Can u elaborate on what error messages you are getting? It maybe some other problem.

    Dear All,
    I am fairly new to ADF development too. While following the Tutorial, I selected the "simple" page template. and check the "Create as XML Document (*.jspx). then click "OK", I got a similar SAXParseException exception, however the main.jspx seemed showed up correctly in the "Design" window. Any idea? Thanks a lot.

  • Set MenuBar component margin sizes

    Hello everyone,
    I use mx:MenuBar component in my application. I'm gonna create an options window for my search button. I'll set options for search property.
    as you see in the image, I couldn't set the size near the arrow down character(v). Also could'n not set the blue color. I checked all properties and style options but not found any solution to set these.
    Please any idea about this issue or any other solution to mysettings window solution.

    For those that are interested, I was able to find a solution. I manually set my margins to 0.5" all around. Here is a snippet below:
    PrinterJob job = PrinterJob.getPrinterJob( );
    PageFormat format = job.defaultPage( );
    Paper paper = new Paper();
    double margin = 36; //72 is the default which equals to an inch
    paper.setImageableArea( margin, margin, paper.getWidth() - margin * 2, paper.getHeight() - margin * 2 );
    format.setPaper( paper );
    job.setPrintable( this, format );
    I hope that helps.

  • MenuBar Component: Listener for Click on Main Menu?

    When using the MenuBar component, is there a way to add an
    event that will tirgger when the user clicks an item in the MenuBar
    (as differentiated from when they click on a sub-menu item)?

    If you removed the stop() from scene 2 it will not stop there it will return to wherever "home" is.
    If you intend to have the timeline stop at some frame, then you need to place a stop() command in that frame, or use a gotoAndStop() command.
    If you are going to use scenes  be consistent with the way you write the goto commands. The use of is rarely recommended - instead, use different sections of the timeline of just one scene, or use movieclips and control their visibility, or a combination of both.
    If you continue to have issues, try simplifying first - build/add the navigation for one section at a time instead of trying to get it all in one shot.

  • Wls10 jwsc task and XML Bean namespace warning

    I would like to thank whomever reads this post in advance for their time and assistance.
    We are writing webservices starting from a Java file and using XMLBeans for the databinding. These webservices compile but many generate an internal bind warning. Here is an example of the warning message:
    [jwsc] [WARNING] Java2Schema internalBind warning: 'error: src-resolve.a: Could not find type 'SearchFacilityLayer@http://ltfinc.net/ltfeb/facility'. Do you mean to refer to the element named searchFacilityLayer@http://ltfinc.net/ltfebservices?'
    The webservices seem to operate fine when using a java client that uses the client jars generated by the clientgen ant task. However, our qa group encounters problems on wsdl validation when importing the generated wsdl.
    Here is an example of one of the problematic web services and the schemas.

  • How to disable 'Save' button when OAF and XML Publisher integrated...URGENT

    Hi,
    I am new to the OA Framework and XML publisher. I have been working on a requirement where I am designing a new page in Manager Self Service with few fields and a submit button. Also designed a RTF template in XML publisher to display the output in PDF format.
    When the details are entered on the page and click on 'Submit' button, the PDF will Open with the data populated. This is working perfectly... thanks to the forum.
    But my issue is: When the submit button is clicked, it displayes a dialog box with Open/Save/Cancel options and if I click the 'Open', the PDF will be opened. But my client is a retail client and they don't want store managers to save this PDF so either I have to skip this dialog box and directly open the PDF or I have to disable the 'Save' on the dialog box.
    Gurus -- Please help me how to achieve this. This is very urgent
    Below is the piece of code I am using in the controller to generate the PDF.
    TemplateHelper.processTemplate(
    ((OADBTransactionImpl)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean).getOADBTransaction()).getAppsContext(),
    APP_NAME,
    TEMPLATE_CODE,
    ((OADBTransactionImpl)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean).getOADBTransaction()).getUserLocale().getLanguage(),
    ((OADBTransactionImpl)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean).getOADBTransaction()).getUserLocale().getCountry(),
    inputStream,
    TemplateHelper.OUTPUT_TYPE_PDF,
    null,
    pdfFile);
    Thanks in Advance,
    Naren

    Frank, thanks for the update.
    But do you want me to try ControllerContext.getInstance().getCurrentViewPort().isDataDirty(); in button disable property?
    I have written one method in my am like
    public boolean isTransactionDirty(){
    return getDBTransaction.isDity();
    and exposed that method to client side and i try to use this method in my button disable property as
    disable#{bindings.isTransactionDirty.execute} but this is not working.
    Thanks

  • Firefox 14 and JDownloader2 Issue

    Jdownloader2 and Firefox issues
    Hello!
    Approx. an one month ago I have faced with the strange bug or what a hack is it.
    When I`m downloading with JDownloader2 without browsing with Firefox, everything is ok.
    When I start the Firefox and I start to browse the internet, Firefox can not open the requsted pages.I receive "bad request", "secure connection can not be established (on NON SECURE pages!!!)", "The connection has been reseted", instead of the requested page I see the html code of the page or Firefox wants to download or open the page on the strange way. After a while Firefox can not connect nowhere.Even the Forecast toolbar and Xmarks is reporting the "Connection Lost" or "connection failed".
    After a while JDownloader will "loose" the connection also. Its reporting Host problem or connection problem with every host.
    After closing of JDownloader2 I close the Firefox, so no visible window of Firefox or JDownloader seen. BUT, if I trie to relunch the Firefox, it reports that Firefox is already running and it needs to be closed first!
    I have investigated this with Process Explorer and I saw that Firefox is really running as Java.exe too. Moreover I could not kill any of them, because access was denied.
    I have closed all ports remaining from JDownloader2 and Firefox, but they processes could not be killed anyway.
    I meant time I have noticed, that Windows Explorer has slowed down (respons time was 5-10 seconds!).The CPU meter gadget showed some strange CPU usage like 09%,02%, etc
    I have to restart my PC to solve this problem. Before a month ago I didn`t have these problem. Be so kind and help me to solve this problem, please!
    I already did:
    1.Uninstall and reinstall Java 7update 5
    2.Uninstall and reinstall JDownloader 2
    3.I have checked the Firewal of ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 10.1.079.000.Every instance of the Firefox, Java, Jawav and JDownloader 2 has unrestricted access to internet.They are "Super trusted" processes. There is no web scan or similar to turn off.Anyway, I didn`t change anything, before this problem occured.
    Everything is happaning only with Firefox-JDownloader2 combination.
    I have:
    Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32 bit
    Firefox 14.01
    JDownloader 2
    Java 7Update 5
    AMD Athlon II X2 240, 2,80 Ghz
    4 GB RAM

    I have been suggested by JIAZ(JD support), that this is typical firewall/av issue. Kaspersky had this before and AntiMalwareBytes.If I`m correct, ZA AV engine is Kaspersky, so I investigate the problem from this site
    I have uninstalled ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 10.1.079.000 and tried downloading with JD2 and browsing with Firefox 14.01. I had only few times that Firefox wants to download or open the page on the strange way, but let say, it works fine with JD2 and Java 7.5.
    I decided to upgrade ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 10.1.079.000 to ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 10.2.074.000.
    So far, everything is working fine! I can download with JD2 (Java 7.5) and browsing with Firefox 14.01 in the same time!
    Moreover:
    Version history:
    ZoneAlarm version 10.2.074.000
    Added: Italian language localization
    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version 10.2.073.000
    Optimized: Installer, component installation order
    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version 10.2.072.000
    '''Added: Firefox 14 support'''
    Fixed issue: Chrome configuration fix
    Fixed issue: ZA Free, messaging usability improvements
    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version 10.2.068.000
    '''Added: Firefox 14 support'''
    Added: Stop all internet activity option
    Added: Snooze AV or Firewall for 5 mins option
    Improved: Security toolbar
    Improved: AV engine
    Improved: Installer
    Fixed issue: Riskware options usability
    Fixed issue: Various other improvements and fixes
    It was my fault! Sorry! Thank You for Your time and effort! Maybe this issue will help to someone else too...

  • Java framework/toolkit for POJO, database persistence and XML

    Hi all,
    I've been wondering if there's a toolkit or framework for developing Java program (could be standalone Java program, EJBs etc.)
    I surfed around casually and found some but there isn't any detailed description of what and how each framework/toolkit does. So I hope to ask around if you've anything that you have used before and would like to point to me to look further.
    Given the huge number of open source toolkits, libraries and frameworks out there, it can be quite confusing as to which one is more suitable for me. Also with Sun's move into JDO and Java Persistence API, things become more messy and complicated - there isn't any clear leader in this area and things are starting to change with the inclusion of JDO which seems to be the future standard persistence API to use.
    So far, I've only worked with Hibernate for database persistence before. So I'm wondering if there're other options such as Hibernate with XDoclet, Castor and Spring framework etc. that can easily transform Plain Old Java Objects (POJO) -- hopefully using Java Reflection w/o using mapping XML files like in Hibernate -- into SQL for database persistence and XML text data and vice-versa. The current problem is that I've been spending tons of time writing code to transform data in Java objects into XML (using my own format) and also doing mapping files for Hibernate.
    I am hoping for something simple like:
    Object o = new Object();
    o.setProperty = "something";
    String xml = o.toXML(); // Convert object to XML text.
    o.save(); // Save to database.
    // The reverse: Parse XML into object and load from database
    Object o = new Object();
    o.fromXML(xml);
    o.load();
    // Properties should be initialized from database or XML.
    Anything similar to this out there?

    Hi,
    Just to share what I've found after surfing a bit more on this issue to promote more discussion on this area.
    For mapping of Java objects to XML, we can try looking more at Castor and JAXB.
    For database persistence to/from Java objects, look at Hibernate and JDO.
    There is this Hydrate project (hydrate.sourceforge.net) that I do not know where it fits in still. But it is supposed to do data transformation and mapping between Java objects, XML and database representation.
    Fyi.
