  • Pdf reports on webtoGo ? urgent plz

    Hi ,
    I developed a webtogo offline application and successfully generated the jasper pdf reports on local jdeveloper.Now i am publishing the same on olite server.
    The pdf report first save in /report folder and then open on popup in a new window(works fine on local machine with jdev).
    Now i have a doubt if the same works on server too?
    Does my code works or not?
    becoz i am getting some null pointer exception.The same code i have deployed which is working on local machine.

  • Changing the Top Level navigation

    Hi,

    I had seen some blogs like hovering etc..
    but i cant understand the concept.
    Can any one explain it in a simple and detailed way.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Chowdary
    for the Mouse is over it . u need to code like that.
    function doMouseOver(level, id) {
         //If preview mode do nothing
         if (gIsPreviewMode)
              return;
         if(isSection508SupportOn)
              window.setTimeout("keepTLNFocus(" + level +"," id ")",1500);//ACC fix
         if (level == 1)
              curNode = gNavTree.children[id];
              if (!EPCM.getGlobalDirty())
                   printLevel1Table(gNavTree, id);
                   printLevel2Table(curNode, -1, -1, true);
              else
                   activeOneId = gLevelOneActiveID;
                   gLevelOneActiveID = id;
              if (curNode.showType == 1)
                   if (curNode.windowFeatures == "")
                     winFeatures = "height=" + curNode.windowHeight + ", width=" + curNode.windowWidth + ",toolbar,location,status,scrollbars,directories,menubar,resizable"
                   else

                             winFeatures = "height=" + curNode.windowHeight + ", "+winFeatures;
                        if (curNode.windowFeatures.indexOf("width") == -1)
                             winFeatures = "width=" + curNode.windowWidth + ", "+winFeatures;
                   EPCM.doNavigate(curNode.name,1, winFeatures, curNode.windowName);

  • Menubar hides on window resize..pls help

    Hello,
    I have a Jframe which has a TabbedPane and which has this jPanelMain
      jPanelMain.add(jMenuBar, new GridBagConstraints(0, 0, 3, 1, 0.0, 0.0
              ,GridBagConstraints.NORTHWEST, GridBagConstraints.BOTH, new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), 0, 0));
      jPanelMain.add(splitPane, new GridBagConstraints(0, 1, 2, 2, 1.0, 1.0
              ,GridBagConstraints.NORTHWEST, GridBagConstraints.BOTH, new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), 0, 0));
      jPanelMain.add(jPanelStatusBar, new GridBagConstraints(0, -1, 3, 1, 0.0, 0.0
              ,GridBagConstraints.SOUTHWEST, GridBagConstraints.BOTH, new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), 0, 0));
      jTabbedPaneMain.insertTab(" DIRECT ", null, jPanelMain, "DIRECT", 0);
      this.getContentPane().add(jTabbedPaneMain, java.awt.BorderLayout.CENTER);When I resize my window, MenuBar hides if window size is less than 1060x824...I can make this size fixed but then users having resolution 1024x768 can not see all the components.
    Please let me know how to handle this issue.
    Thanks,
    Satya

    why don't you add the panel into a frame and use this method :
    JFrame.setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated(true);
    so u get the resize and close buttons. But the menu does not hide itself.

  • Menubar doesn't automatically resize, using scene builder

    Hi,
    I started playing around with the new scene builder. I love it!
    In the past I added the menubar into the top area of a border pane. If I resized the window to full screen, the menubar also automatically resized to full screen.
    It seems to me that scene builder doesn't support a border pane (scene builder use anchor pane).
    This is how it looks like if I resize the window:
    |__Menu__!
    |
    |_______________
    And it should look like this:
    |__Menu_________!
    |
    |_______________

    @Josef
    BorderPane support will be added in an upcoming Developer Preview build.
    In the mean-time, you can anchor the MenuBar:
    Select the MenuBar, go the Layout part of the Inspector and click on the Left and Right Anchors in the AnchorPane Constraints to activate them.

    unable to launch this on my mac... Can anyone help.. im on a test deadline??

    The only way this might be possible is by using the HostContainer object
    to access the HTML page and do it from there.

  • How can I implement a status bar at the bottom of a resizable application?

    Hello all,
    I am a JavaFx newbie and I am implementing an application (a Sokoban game), with a menu at the top of the frame and a gaming area covering the rest of the frame. To support the game, I have to load images at certain positions in the gaming area.
    The game also includes a level editor with another menubar and where images are set to other positions.
    I implemented this in another view, swiching from the game mode to the level editor mode and vice versa is just done by setting the other view visible. Up to now this works, here the important statements building these details:
    Group root = new Group();
    gameView = new Group(); // for gaming mode
    le_view = new Group()   // for level editor mode
    MenuBar gameMenubar = new MenuBar();
    Menu menuGame = new Menu(bundle.getString("MenuGame"));
    ... building the menu items and menues ...
    gameView.getChildren().add(gameMenubar);
    ImageView buildingView[][] = new ImageView[22][22];
    for (nCol = 0; nCol < 22; nCol++) {
        for (nRow = 0; nRow < 22; nRow++) {
            buildingView[nCol][nRow] = new ImageView();
            buildingView[nCol][nRow].setX(nCol * 26 + 5);
            buildingView[nCol][nRow].setY(nRow * 26 + 40);
            gameView.getChildren().add(buildingView[nCol][nRow]);
    gameView.setVisible(true);
    root.getChildren().add(gameView);
    ... same stuff to build the le_view ...
    le_View.setVisible(false);
    root.getChildren().add(le_View);
    Scene scene = new Scene(root, 800, 600, Color.CORNSILK); Now I want to introduce a status bar at the bottom of the frame, which of course has to follow the bottom of the frame, if it is resized. And of course the menu and the status bar should not grow vertically, if the height of the frame is increased.
    The implementation seems to be easy with StackPane for the frame and one BorderPane for each mode.
    For the first step I only tried implementing the game mode with only one BorderPane (just setting the menu, the gaming area and the status bar each into a HBox and setting these three HBoxes at the top, into the center and at the bottom). I also tried this via GridPane and via VBox; I always get any erroneous behaviour:
    Either the menubar is visible, but the menus do not pop up the menu items, or the anchor point of the menu and of gaming area are set 100 pixels left of the left frame border and move into the frame when the frame width is increased, or the menu is set 20 pixels below the top of the frame, or HBox with the menu grows when the frame height is increased, so that the anchor point of the gaming area moves down.
    Can you describe me a correct construction of such a frame? Thanks in advance.
    Best regards
    Gerhard

    Hello Gerhard,
    Glad the code helped, thanks for a fun layout exercise.
    For the draft code I just pulled an icon off the internet over a http connection.
    If you haven't done so already place any icons and graphics you need local to your project, so that resource lookups like:
    Image img = new Image("http://www.julepstudios.com/images/close-icon.png");become
    Image img = new Image("close-icon.png");then performance may improve.
    Another possible reason for your performance problem could be that when you use a vbox, the vbox content can overflow the area of the borderpane center and might be sitting on top of the menu pane, making you unable to click the menu (which is what happens to me when I try that with the draft program with the vbox wrapping mod, then resize the scene to make it smaller). This was a trick which caught me and the reason that I used a Group originally rather than a vbox. I found a vbox still works but you need to tweak things a bit. The trick I saw was that the order in which you add stuff to the borderpane is important. The borderpane acts like a stack where the last thing added floats over the top of everything else if you size the scene small enough. For your project you want the menu on top always, so it always needs to be the last thing added to the borderpane, but when you swap in the level pane for the game pane, then back out again, the game pane can end up on top of the menu which makes the menu seem like you can't click it (only when the scene is sized small enough). It was quite a subtle bug which took me a little while to work out what was happening. For me the solution was to add just one vbox to the center of the border, and then swap the game pane and the level editor in and out of the vbox, that way the center of the layout always stayed behind the menu bar and the status bar.
    I added some revisions to reflect the comments above and placed some comments in the code to note what was changed and why.
    public class SampleGameLayoutRevised extends Application {
      public static void main(String[] args) { Application.launch(args); }
      public void start(Stage stage) throws Exception {
        final BorderPane gameLayout = new BorderPane();
        final Group gameView = new Group();
        final MenuBar gameMenubar = new MenuBar();
        final Menu gameMenu = new Menu("Mode");
        final VBox centerView = new VBox();
        centerView.setStyle("-fx-background-color: darkgreen");  // we set a background color on the center view to check if it overwrites the game menu.
        MenuItem playGameMenu = new MenuItem("Play Game");
        MenuItem levelEditMenu = new MenuItem("Edit Levels");
        gameMenu.getItems().add(playGameMenu);
        gameMenu.getItems().add(levelEditMenu);
        gameMenubar.getMenus().add(gameMenu);
        final StackPane levelEditView = new StackPane();
        levelEditView.getChildren().add(new Text("Level Editor"));
        ImageView buildingView[][] = new ImageView[22][22];
        Image img = new Image("http://www.julepstudios.com/images/close-icon.png");  // use of http here is just for example, instead use an image resource from your project files.
        for (int nCol = 0; nCol < 22; nCol++) {
          for (int nRow = 0; nRow < 22; nRow++) {
            ImageView imgView = new ImageView(img);
            imgView.setScaleX(0.5);
            imgView.setScaleY(0.5);
            buildingView[nCol][nRow] = imgView;
            buildingView[nCol][nRow].setX(nCol * 20 + 5);
            buildingView[nCol][nRow].setY(nRow * 20 + 40);
            gameView.getChildren().add(buildingView[nCol][nRow]);
        final VBox statusBar = new VBox();
        final Text statusText = new Text("Playing Game");
        statusBar.getChildren().add(statusText);
        statusBar.setStyle("-fx-background-color: cornsilk"); // we set a background color on the status bar,
                                                              // because we can't rely on the scene background color
                                                              // because, if the scene is sized small, the status bar will start to overlay the game view
                                                              // and if we don't explicitly set the statusBar background the center view will start
                                                              // to bleed through the transparent background of the statusBar.
        gameLayout.setCenter(centerView); // we add the centerview first and we never change it, instead we put it's changeable contents in a vbox and change out the vbox content.
        gameLayout.setBottom(statusBar);
        gameLayout.setTop(gameMenubar);   // note the game layout is the last thing added to the borderpane so it will always stay on top if the border pane is resized.
        playGameMenu.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
          public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
            centerView.getChildren().clear();  // here we perform a centerview vbox content swap.
            centerView.getChildren().add(gameView);
            statusText.setText("Playing Game");
        levelEditMenu.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
          public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
            centerView.getChildren().clear();  // here we perform a centerview vbox content swap.
            centerView.getChildren().add(levelEditView);
            statusText.setText("Editing Level");
        playGameMenu.fire();
        Scene scene = new Scene(gameLayout, 800, 600, Color.CORNSILK);
        stage.setScene(scene);
        stage.show();
    }Other than that I am not sure of a reason for the slowdown you are seeing. In my experience JavaFX has been quick and responsive for the tasks I have been using it for. Admittedly, I just use if for a bunch of small trial projects, but I've never seen it unresponsive for a minute.

  • Menu/Toolbar Display Corruption Upon Resizing Window

    We're experiencing an issue with one of our workstations where when the Adobe Reader X (10.1.3) window is resized, the Menu/Toolbar displays become corrupt and garbled on the screen (see the attached picture). The Toolbar appears on the top, the frame around the application disappears, and the menubar has to be hovered across for items to appear.
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader, updated the video card drivers, and ensured all Adobe/Microsoft updates have been applied to this workstation.
    Dell Precision T3500
    Intel Xeon W3530 (2.80 GHz)
    6.00GB of Memory
    NVIDIA Quadro FX 580
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    Was curious to how you were able to change the display resolution - I am unable to even see anything on my desktop... I have connected my power book to another monitor but have the same result.

  • Div moves down when window is resized

    Hello,
    Here's my problem:  When I resize my browser window the main div is resized up until a certain point when it just falls below all of the other content.
    How can I prevent this from happening?  I have both the top and bottom div's set to auto width, so I can't figure out whats going wrong.

    /* Tips for sidebars:
    1. Since we are working in percentages, it's best not to use side padding on the sidebars. It will be added to the width for standards compliant browsers creating an unknown actual width.
    2. Space between the side of the div and the elements within it can be created by placing a left and right margin on those elements as seen in the ".thrColLiqHdr #sidebar1 p" rule.
    3. Since Explorer calculates widths after the parent element is rendered, you may occasionally run into unexplained bugs with percentage-based columns. If you need more predictable results, you may choose to change to pixel sized columns.

    That's one of the problems with liquid (%) based layouts. In your default.css file, replace the top 2o selector rules with the following:
    body {
        font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: 12px;
        color: #333;
        margin:0;
        padding:0;
        background: url(images/main-right.png) repeat-y;
    .thrColLiqHdr #container {
        width: 95%;
       min-width: 870px; /**keep page from collapsing**/
        margin:0 auto;
        background: url(/images/halftone1.png);

  • Disable menubar and location from popup dialog in new browser window

    How to hide the toolbar, menubar, location and status for the popup window (not inline, but new browser window style) using ADF 11g?
    Just like HTML javascript:
    window.open ('page.jsp', 'newwindow', 'height=100, width=400, top=0, left=0, toolbar=no, menubar=no, scrollbars=no, resizable=no,location=no, status=no')In ADF 11g, I have a jspx refered by a taskflow action with "dialog:" prefix, and I call it from a button like this:
    <af:commandToolbarButton text="Add"
    id="ctbAdd"
    action="dialog:create"
    useWindow="true"
    windowEmbedStyle="window"
    windowModalityType="applicationModal"
    windowHeight="400"
    windowWidth="600"
    />How to control the toolbar, menubar, location and status for the popup window?
    Thanks in advanced,
    Samson Fu

    I tried it but not success. My code as below:
        public void handleAddLaunch(LaunchEvent launchEvent) {
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("toolbar", "no");
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("menubar", "no");
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("scrollbars", "no");
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("resizable", "no");
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("location", "no");
            launchEvent.getWindowProperties().put("status", "no");The popup windows contains all the toolbar, menubar, location...
    Is there any example or reference for the keys and values for getWindowProperties()?

  • Hyperlink on Crystal Report: how to popup a window without menubar?

    Hyperlink on Crystal Report: how to popup a window without menubar?
    Hello Experts!
    I'm using VS2003 with Crystal Reports for VS2003.
    I need to show a popup window clicking a hyperlink text object on my crystal report.
    On the CrystalReportViewer I have set up HyperlinkTarget=_blank, and it's working fine.
    But when I click on the hyperlink and shows the popup window, how can I show the popup window without menubar, toolbar, directories, etc.
    Something like:
    window.open('../MyPage.html?id=id001" + Cad + "',null,'menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,resizable=yes,status=yes')

    Adam is correct. The closest you can get is setting the CrystalReportViewers HyperlinkTarget to _blank. It was seen as a potential security vulnerability to allow you to run scripts from a Crystal Reports. In our Enterprise product you can use a reg key called EncodeHTMLForSingleLineFieldObjects to control whether this can be turned on or off.
    Unfortunately this was never ported over to our .NET CrystalReportViewer.

  • How do you resize multiple artboards in Illustrator at the same time?

    Hi,
    This is a question that has been bugging me for a while.  I'm currently on CS6 but I'm looking for a solution that can also work on CS5 for a co-worker.
    Having multiple artboards has been established since CS4 and I have yet to see an official way of resizing multiple artboards, if anything there should at least be a plug-in.
    As great of a feature it is, it seems a little short sited.  If one has multiple artboards one should be able to manage multiple artboards, right?
    I totally love having multiple artboards but I should be able to resize and manage multiple artboards as well.
    This is great for building icon sets but how can I resize the set all at once?
    I was considering trying to do an action but odds are I still would have to select an artboard one by one to do which doesn't save much time if you have like 30 artboards to apply this to.
    I don't even see a batch render for artboards and Photoshop has that for its files.
    I'm well aware of the solution that is displayed here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1093465
    Which is a script.  I'm not sure where I'm supposed to put it.

    mec_os wrote:
    you can resize the artwork on export. no need to draw it to size.
    Unfotunately when I looked into that does not seem to be the case.  However I can resize when I "Save for Web" but that appears to only work for one artboard at a time.  I can Save As or Export multipe artboards but not adjust the size.  Believe me I would be happy if I could resize multiple artboards upon export but apparently that is not an option.

    you can put the scripts in illustrator's folder/presets/en_us(or whatever localization you have)/scripts. you can then access them in illustrator from the menubar/File/Scripts/
    there are also applications that will let you execute scripts with assigned shortcuts. i believe sparks is free.
    Thanks for pointing out the location.
    Do I save it as a txt file or something else?
    (I was guessing that I would copy the script into notepad or something)

    }Try changing between Mode 1 and Mode 2 (via the Mode menu) to see how the text areas resize as the object between them grows and shrinks. This behavior is correct.
    What is incorrect is what happens when the user enters a large amount of text into one of the text boxes (6 or 7 lines of text should be enough to create the problem) and switches between modes.
    I've tried using the getSize and setSize methods of various components at various points in the program but none seem to work effectively. The closest thing I've been able to do is to keep the JTextAreas, the JScrollPanes, and the JPanels holding them to remain the same sizes, but the text still pushes the panel between the JTextAreas down (and possibly out of) the window, leaving a blank area between the edge of the JPanel containing the JScrollPane and the JPanel in the center.
    The JPanels containing the JScrollPanes must be able to resize correctly as the user resizes the window, so a constant size would not work in this situation.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    What is incorrect is what happens when the user enters a large amount of text into one of the text boxes I don't notice anything happening when I add text to the text area. The scrollbars appear as is expected. The only difference for me when I switch between mode 1 and 2 is that the center panel changes in size slightly. This is because the panel is using a FlowLayout which by default has a 5 pixel vertical gap between each component. This is easily fixed by using:
    JPanel temp = new JPanel( new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.CENTER, 5, 0) );I know you tested using JDK1.5 since I had to make the following change in order to get the example to work:
    getContentPane().add( everything );
    So maybe this is a version problem since I don't notice anything out of the ordinary other than what I already mentioned.
