Merging WSDL and sending it to a test webservice
Hi All,
I have four wsdl to merge into a single wsdl and import into XI and use
it a source data type. The wsdl contains different namespaces in it.
Could anyone guide me the procedure step-by-step to do it. Any help is really appreciated. Can I send the merged wsdl through XML spy to a test webservice and test it. How can i create a test webservice to test it.
Thanks
Michael
Hi,
To merging, using xml spy you can try it out.
To Test a Webservice refer this blog-

Hope this helps,

Obtaining the WSDL and sending a message (like Web Services)
Hi All,
Is it possible to use a service interface defined in XI as any other web service? Consider the following scenario.
1. Create an async service interface (outbound) in XI (This has a message mapping and the message goes to some inbound interface).
2. Can we write an external application (a Java swing client or something) which can send a message to this service interface?
3. While writing a normal web services client we specify the url of the WSDL and then send a SOAP message using some APIs.
4. Can this be achieved in XI? If so could you provide me some links or blogs etc to have some idea about this. Also how do we specify the URL of the interface.
5. I have seen a similar application (an HTML file) which takes the XML payload (conforming to the message type of the interface) and sends the message to the interface. In this case the URL is formed from sender namespace, server name, port etc. The name of this HTML is XIHttp_adapter.html.
6. Can somebody give me more inputs in this direction?
Many Thanks,
SandeepHi Sandeep,
The Info below should surely help you find an answer.
If you're on WAS 6.20 and up, you can expose an RFC as a webservice directly from WAS.
Or if youre on Basis layer 4.6D, you'll need to use XI (or some other integration tool) to expose the RFC as a webservice.
To do this in XI you'll need to:
Integration Repository
1) Import the RFC
2) Define a message and datatype for the SOAP interface
3) Create inbound and outbound interfaces
4) Create maps between the RFC and SOAP messages
5) Create an interface map
Integration Directory
1) Create an RFC Receiver Channel
2) Create a SOAP Sender Channel
3) Generate the WSDL (Tools->Define Web Service)
You can then handoff the WSDL and a login username and password to your developer and they will have everything they need to make the WS call.
Here are answers to a few doubts u might have:
1) Do I need to actually create a WS that calls the RFC ? Isnt the virtual interface exposed by the XI sufficient?
Yes, you need to create a WS in XI that calls the RFC.
2) If I really have to create the WS and deploy it in order to expose it with the XI, then what is my benefit of exposing it with the XI, why not just exposing it as a normal WS ?
You don't have WAS 6.20 or up. Even if you did, you may still want to expose it using XI in order to have all of your integration go through the same application.
3) If I expose my web service through the XI, how does the client application executes one of its methods? To which url does it have to access (the XI or the actual WS)?
You expose a SOAP interface in XI by generating a WSDL file. This file contains all of the information a developer will need to call the webservice including the URL.
You actually specify the URL when you generate the WSDL. Be sure to read the documentation to get the correct format because the URL that the wizard suggests isn't correct.
Also check this Pdf for the Receiever SOAP Adapter configuration:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40728f7b-0401-0010-d9bc-8c73884a3789
Also the target URL must be the URL to the WSDL. So, if you try putting it in your browser you must see the wsdl code.Please do ensure the same.....
I hope this helps.

How can I mail merge in new Pages 5.2 and send it by Mail?
How can I merge mail in the new Pages version 5.2 and send it by Mail?
It seems that there is not a mail merger available anymore for Pages. Although it is a powerfull mecanism to send a bunch of letters by Mail, Apple has downgraded themselves by excluding this feature from this app. What is the solution to this problem?
Should i seek a Microsoft program to resolve this issue, because the new version of pages simply will not cut it without these necessary features.If you have the previous version of Number and Pages you can still use those applications to perform a mail merge. Neither the previous version nor the latest version support mass emailing. There are other applications that can do that.
Using my favorite search engine I was able to identify several services that can perform a mass email campaign:
I used the search term: "mass email service" -
BPEL process to create a PDF and send it as attachment in SOAP response
We have a requirement to have a webservice created using BPEL, which can receive input from a client and create a PDF using the input and send the PDF as attachment in the SOAP response.
We have found the below link in Oracle docs and our basic understanding on the functionality given is that the MIMEService is being used to read a SOAP attachment from some other service and send it as an attachment in the SOAP response to the requester. As explained above, this doesn't completely satisfy our requirement.
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11036_01/integrate.1013/b28981/manipdoc.htm#BABCJIAH
Please suggest if there is any other approach that suites our requirement.
Thanks.Hi,
I have a Weblogic webservice which returns me a PDF attachment as resposne ( here I have MIME related stuff).I need to get attachment as bpel response.
I have created a BPEL process to invoke the weblogic webservice. I have explictly added the MIME part in bpel.wsdl same as weblogic webservice wsdl.
I tried to assign the response variable( of type base64binary) of bpel.wsdl and my webservice .wsdl . I am getting some error with no attachment.

WSDL Problem (Sender WebService)
Hi,
Our scenario is Webservice to SAP, recently as per the new requirement 2 new fields were added to structure. Earlier WSDL was given from ID(Tools --> Define Webservice) , now similarily after addition of 2 fields in structure a new WSDL was generated from ID again & was given to client.
While generating WSDL i had used URL for Integration Engine, bypassed adapter engine , first WSDL was also given in similar way.
Now while testing this scenario two new feilds are not getting populated in payload. Webservices system is sending that values but not getting reflected in PI.
Already tried refreshing cache, complete cache refresh but no use.
Can anyone give some suggestions, it will be helpful in resolving issue ..
Regards,
Vinod.Couple of hints.
After generating the WSDL with new fields added, check whether those two new fields are reflected in the wsdl. If so, then your WSDL generation is right.
Remove the old versions and maintain one wsdl always. Also tell your partner to reference the latest WSDL.
Test using SOAPUI or XMLSPY loading the lastest WSDL and see whether you see latest request or response structure.
If you are using version PI 7.1 or above , the easy way to do is go to sender agreement and pick display wsdL option and generate it. You dont manually input all the interface name, namespace details.
Hope this help. -

Re-encode and send to Flash Media Server?
Hi all,
I hope this is not a basic question - I'm in a bit of a loop
with this.
I need to do two things:
grab a live video feed from a
professional DV camera - the feed would be a standard BNC
(composite) video cable + XLR mic cable or similar. I need to take
that feed and somehow convert it to feed and broadcast live through
Flash Interactive Streaming server (...a reliable hardware solution
would be great!)
I will also be receiving Windows
Media MMS feeds from our parent company - can I re-encode live and
send through Flash Streaming Server in real-time?
Also - just in case it makes a difference, the camera is PAL
- not NTSC. So far I've had no problem running tests with a camera
connected directly via firewire.
Thank you for any help you can offer.My first message got screwed up - so trying again.....

Can I render a Flash frame as a bitmap and send it over TCP/IP?
I want to draw some combination of bitmaps, flash shapes, vectors, text etc and draw them programmatically into my movie using ActionScript, and then get every "rendered" pixel of my movie (at 100% view) into an array that I send to another program over TCP/IP. Can anyone help me here?
The first part of the question is if its possible to render a frame that is a collection of Flash elements as a bitmap? I know that I can iterate through a bitmap and get every pixel using the getPixel method but I'm trying to access the final rendered frame displayed on my screen, including, as I said Flash shapes and text.
The second question is what would be the best way to send this "video frame" over TCP/IP? Would I use an XML socket connection? That is the only way I know how to send data out of Flash over TCP/IP but I don't know if it is the only way - the help page says the data needs to be formatted as XML, which seems unwieldly for this application.
I'm doing this now by using Max/MSP/Jitter to do a screen capture the size and location of my Flash movie and then send out the resulting matrix using a "jit.net.send" object (which lets you send frames of video over TCP/IP), but this is too clumsy for the installation I am building.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
-bobThanks! That was exactly what I was looking for in the first half of the question. And I guess the draw() method works in AS2 as well as AS3. I will test it but from what I understand, I can use a Bitmap as kind of my bottom-level container, then create (in ActionScript) a movie clip that can contain other movie clips or drawing API commands or whatever, animate these various elements then finally draw() them into the bitmap. I see that in AS3 I can even use getPixels or getVector to capture the full "video frame" in one line of code.
Thanks rothrock, for the helpful links. My application is kind of unusual, in that I'm sending "video" data to a proprietary LED controller box for display on a low resolution LED display. I connect to the box over TCP/IP and send it "frames of video" 20 times a second. I got this to work with this other content and software (Max/MSP/Jitter) and I want to see how I could capture all the rendered pixel data in successive frames of Flash animation, format it properly, then send it over TCP/IP to this controller box. Don't really now enough about the various flavors of TCP/IP connections to figure out how to do this in Flash, and I know there are security limitations built in to Flash that have to be worked around. But my movies are small (say 96 pixels by 72 pixels) and I need to send uncompressed data directly to my controller box, so these interesting links showing how to use server-side scripts to create jpgs or pngs are probably not going to help me. I will hopefully find a higher-level programmer than myself to work this out, and I think some of the techniques here will hopefull prove to be helpful.
Thanks again for your help! -
In PI how do I convert the XML payload (input) to a text file and send out
I am extracting data from SAP and sending thru XI / PI to a file (non-sap system).
On the receiving end, I need the file to be a text file, with one row for each "FTZ_Row concatenated_data" tag in the input. It needs to be just a plain text file with no XML tags.
Currently the file gets one record which matches exactly to the XML payload below.
I want it to create a file that looks like this :
CONCATENATED DATA 1
CONCATENATED DATA 2
012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12
here is the payload going thru XI
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row xmlns:n0="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" xmlns:prx="urn:sap.com:proxy:FI0:/1SAI/TAS0C0412CDBC3E782D0219:700:2008/06/25">
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 2" />
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12" />
</n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row>
thanks
jaythanks for the input but I am still having issues - I get an empty file when I use the content conversion option.
My payload coming into XI is :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row xmlns:n0="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" xmlns:prx="urn:sap.com:proxy:FI0:/1SAI/TAS0C0412CDBC3E782D0219:700:2008/06/25">
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 2" />
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12" />
</n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row>
Here is the layout of my data type - I am using the same for input & output
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" targetNamespace="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone">
<xsd:complexType name="FTZ_Concatenated_Row">
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element name="FTZ_Row" maxOccurs="unbounded">
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:attribute name="concatenated_data" type="xsd:string" />
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:schema>
I mapped these items : FTZ_Concatenated_Row & FTZ_Row & concatenated_data
I set up my content convesion with :
recordset structure FTZ_Row
FTZ_Row.fieldSeparator #
FTZ_Row.endSeparator 'nl'
I am not sure why the following row looks like this ??
<FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
I thought FTZ_Row would be one tag and "concatenated_data" would be another one.
any help would be appreciated.
I have read many entries/blogs/etc in SDN but and tried many different setups, but nothing is working.
thanks -
Error occured while sending a form in test in HCM Process & Forms
Hi
An error occured while testing my process in Design Time Tool. All the process, form, and workflow are consistent and activated, however when I send the form in test program available in Design Time Tool I get a Short Dump (as below) followed by the error "Workflow Item Not Found, Workflow Not Started."
Category ABAP Programming Error
Runtime Errors MESSAGE_TYPE_UNKNOWN
ABAP Program CL_POBJ_CASE==================CP
Application Component PA-AS
Date and Time 23.02.2012 09:38:34
Short text
Message type " " is unknown.
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_POBJ_CASE==================CP" had to be
terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
Only message types A, E, I, W, S, and X are allowed.
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"MESSAGE_TYPE_UNKNOWN" " "
"CL_POBJ_CASE==================CP" or "CL_POBJ_CASE==================CM00D"
"IF_POBJ_CASE~CREATE_CASE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
Looking forward to your expert advice to resolve this error.
Best regards
ImranThis can be a few things....
1. Make sure you set up your number range for CASE Mgmt (t-code SCASE_NUMBERANGE)
2. if the POBJ_MODEL is missing in your CASE Mgmt environment
3. if the doc id for your object models (process, scenario, case) are somehow "out of whack" (not matching) between CASE mgmt, SCASE_CUSTOMIZING and SRMREGEDIT
4. authorization issues (which it more likely is)... I know it sounds weird, but even giving you SAP_ALL will not do it (even it is missing some of the auth objects). You have to be able to read/write to CASE Mgmt (so the related auth objects are needed....look for ones with S_SRM* or S_SCM*). Also, WF-BATCH user needs this auth as well!
This part can be a PAIN to get sorted out. -
windows 8 mail app, has my icloud email accounton it, but none of my icloud contacts depite the fact that i have merged outllok and icloud on the icloud control panel
What you have experienced, though annoying, doesn't necessarily mean someone has hacked your account, though if you were finding that you were blocked because the sending limit had been reached that might indicate that you had been hacked.
What can happen is that when people receive emails which appear to come from their own address but they haven't sent they naturally tend to be concerned: however it's most unlikely that anyone has hacked their account, they've just been targeted by one of two common spammers' techniques: both arise because it's all too easy to forge the 'from' address on messages to be something other than the real one.
There are two methods. One is that the sender has forged the 'from' address to be the same as the 'to' address (so other people will see it coming from themselves, not you), presumably in the hope of confusing spam filters. It's harmless, if extremely annoying. Delete it (never ever answer spam or try to unsubscribe from it), and you don't need to be worried about it.
The other problem is that a spammer is forging your address as the 'from' address on a whole batch of messages. The first thing you hear about this is when you start getting bounce messages because the spam has been sent to non-existent addresses and is being bounced to you. There's no point at all in responding to it. It's infuriating but normally stops after a bit as they move on to another forged address.
There isn't really anything you can do about it: closing the account isn't really worth the hassle unless you are totally swamped, because you will have to tell everyone your new address. Apple can't really do any more than they already are about spam. However changing your password on general principles is a good idea. -
What's the usage for WSDL of sender agreement?
Hi gurus,
Our scenarios are using soap sender adpater, and we find in PI 7.11 there is a functionality to display the wsdl of sender agreement.
It seems xmlspy can create soap request based on the url format of wsdl, but we can't send the soap request to PI as it gave the error message as below " Couldn't retrieve inbound binding for the given P/S/A values: FP=;TP=;FS=null;TS=;AN=null;ANS=null;".
Do we have to use the "TOOLS->display wsdl" menu to get the wsdl file to local and then provide it to 3rd party system? If so, we have to export wsdl again whenever data structure changes.
Thanks in advance.HI,
Do we have to use the "TOOLS->display wsdl" menu to get the wsdl file to local and then provide it to 3rd party system? If so, we have to export wsdl again whenever data structure changes.
---->yes ,we have to export wsdl again whenever data structure changes.
and
we have 2 approaches for generating WSDL FILE
1. in sender Agreement
2. from memu bar-> tools
but we have to generate WSDL file Through Menu bar "TOOLS" because there is chance to provide url and sender details after change the Structure..,..

I produced a film in imovie and send it to idvd to make a dvd with a theme. After finishing all the dvd starts in my mac-computer and first comes the theme and then the film.
But when I start it with a dvd-recorder at tv first the film comes an at the end of the film the theme comes. What did I wrong? Where is my mistake?Hi
A. Do not Use - Share to iDVD - in any iMovie version at all !
B. Start a BRAND NEW iDVD project
C. in iMovie'08 to 11 - Share to Media Browser and as LARGE - NOT HD or other resolution as quality will be even worse
- in iMovie HD6 - just close it and from within iDVD import the iMovie movie project icon (with a Star on it)
- FinalCut - Export as QuickTime Movie - NO QUICKTIME CONVERSION - AT ALL !
D. When in iDVD - see to that in the Lay-out menu (when it looks like a box-plott) there ARE NOTHING in the upper left most box (Auto Start box). As this overruns any Menu.
E. Save as a DiskImage - TEST this first - befor burning any DVDs
