"Message Failed To Send," but it actually sends it 6 times!
This started happening this morning. Whenever I try to send a text, whether it be a regular text or iMessage, I keep getting a message saying "Message Failed To Send," and then it has a red exclamation point by the message and it says "Not Delivered." If that's not annoying enough, the recipients are actually receiving the message 6 times! Is anyone else having this issue? I'm using a [brand new] iPhone 5S on AT&T service, if that matters. I'm about to throw this iPhone at the wall... HELP!
Throwing it at the wall will certainly stop it from sending the message six times, along with everything else. First thing to do is reset the phone, following the procedure outlined below.
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

I receive messages on my iPad, but I cannot send a reply. The send button will not respond to my touch.
It's not that you can't use the subject field, but it is very unreliable when I try to use it. Sometimes the message send button will work and sometimes it won't.
But the biggest reason to turn it off is so that you do not accidentally type your message in the subject field. You can type a subject in that field, but you still have to type the actual message in the space below the subject field. -
I was trying to email a link from a webpage I loaded in safari. The email sits in my outbox with a red exclamation point. WIll not send. Keeping getting an error message sending the message failed because you have exceeded your sending limit
"I keep getting a "you have exceeded your limit" on my email."
No explanation, makes no sense, it's happening with others.
I have to change (in my outgoing/unsent folder) my sending address from .mac to me.com. After reading the following helpful post:
To get outbox individual mails sent, Try going to outbox, opening each email to edit and change sending email to [email protected] by clicking arrow in from line. If [email protected] account does not show, go to settings > mail > icloud account > add "[email protected]" And, until this issue is resolved, set mail to send from [email protected]
(and you should be using smtp.mail.me.com) -
My iphone 5 keeps on losing contact details and i am also having instances of old text messages being resent when I am actually sending newly written text messages help please?
My wife is having the same problems as a reciever. She works in a school as a teaching assistant and her teacher sends messages that are mixed with previous texts from ages ago.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or is it only her and this poster?

I can not receive text messages from an android but I can send them
The other day my boyfriend's phone stopped working. He already had an android phone and our messages were working fine. But ever since he got a new phone(it's the same kind of LG phone he had before) I can SEND messages to him fine, but I can not receive ANY of his messages he sends to me. I have tried everything to resetting the network, turning imessage on and off, and resetting my phone countless times. I have even redid his contact, erased our old messages. But it is still not working! Can anybody help me? This is very frustrating.
Thank You1. Turn off iMessage on the iPhone, then restore it as new.
2. Go to www.icloud.com and remove the iPhone from your AppleID.
3. Change your Apple ID password.
4. Change the primary email address of your Apple ID. -
That about sums it up. I feel very unprofessional when it happens. Can I determine from within Thunderbird when it sends or doesn't send? How can I fix it? Is there a way to tell Thunderbird to prevent multiple identical emails?
When it times out, it won't appear in the Sent folder. Right now, to see if these timed-out emails actually sent, I have to open my web interface to gmail, which is the only place it'll show a complete roster of sent email. (I don't like the web interface, which is why I have Thunderbird in the first place.)Thank you. After referring to these articles and checking the gmail settings, the SMTP appears to be correct. Also, this only happens when I have very slow speeds, and at all other times, Thunderbird does exactly what I expect it to do with outgoing email.

We are receiving emails from our own email address but different actual sender?
We are receiving emails with our own email address as sender but with a difffrent sender name. What gives?
this is not normal but try to see the multiples accounts in the mail check if his account is not connected yet

Long delay between send button and actual send in mail
When sending messages in mail, there is a long delay between the time I hit the send button and the actual sending begins. Message and attachment size have no bearing. The delay is usually about 30 seconds, but sometimes longer.
There was info in the detail window when I opened it. Also, it was not immediately connecting to the server, but when I clicked back on the regular mail window to send a test message, the server connected instantly. Below is all that was in the details window:

Could someone please help me with this it is driving me crazy here! I keep getting this message when I try to send my son a text! It says there is a network problem and the message failed. what do i do to correct this on my samsung galaxy note 4? It only happens with his number and I have tried all the trouble shooting help things and nothing works.
I'm very sorry to hear there is a error when texting your son. I'd like to help figure this out with you. Which phone does your son have? When did the error start? Does either device have any physical or liquid damage?

What does this mean? Has anyone seen before?
Most e-mail servers impose limits on how many messages you can send per day and how many different e-mail addresses you can send messages to per day. This is a measure to prevent spam, and you're unlikely to hit those limits unless you're sending messages to a very large group of people. Generally, those limits are somewhere in the hundreds.
If you haven't been sending that much e-mail, or to that many recipients, then your e-mail account may have been hacked and used to send spam. See:
Someone is sending messages from my e-mail address! -
I can't really receive any messages. It's all delayed. I'm from Philippines. my iPhone had been unlocked since my mom bought it in USA. I can't receive any messages here in our province but when I'm in Metro Manila, it's working. so Help me
Yes, I already talked about this to my carrier. Do you think it doesn't have any problem with the phone?

Certain messages in Gmail are not displaying properly (http://img607.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20110228at101.png/). These messages appear properly in all other browsers (including previous versions of Firefox), and also appear when I disable all labs. Disabling Right Side Chat labs appears to enable display of the message, but destroys all formatting (page stretches to the right beyond viewable resolutions, line breaks disappear), and so on.
Thank you for your prompt email.
I have thoroughly checked and double-checked all the factors below.
On two different computers. Unfortunately, nothing has helped yet.
I can assure you that each item listed below has been checked several times during all my searching today and ALSO again right now.
There are no problems with Plugins, Themes or Extensions found. No permissions blocked, No media blocked images, No third-party permissions blocked. No images blocked from any domains. And images are 'Enabled'. There are no exceptions in place to the loading images. No exclusions in my security software settings.
AND I have checked all of this on a second computer that is also having this same problem. That person is using a different security software than I am but they are having the same problem with images in only their Gmail account also - but NOT when using IE9. Only when signing in through Firefox. And we both think it started yesterday or this morning.
That pc is still on Firefox version 12.0. I updated earlier today to version 13.0 but the problem is still ongoing for both of us.
Any further help will be greatly appreciated.
I have to get something accomplished. WAY behind now.
Thank you,

I can receive I message but can't send I message
Help....I can receive an I message....but can't send one, or reply to one!
My best guess is that you are accidentally typing in the subject field without realizing it and when you try to send the message, it will not go through. Unless there is text in the text area - and not just in the subject field, the message will not send.
Like I said, that's only a guess. Try using the subject field again, but make sure that you are also typing the message in the text field and see if the message will send. You can always turn the subject field off again if it will not work. If I leave the subject field turned on, I can still text, as long as I type the message in the line below the subject field. -
In my iCloud account, I'm finding that sometimes I send a message in Mail, it goes through the Outbox and seems to have sent. But it's not in the Sent folder. Checked on iCloud.com and it isn't there either. Very disturbing to not have confidence that your mail is being sent.
If only. That's the scary part—it leaves the Outbox but never actually sends. (Which makes me have to check each email as I send them.)
