Why am I getting message send failure from my iPad to a non-iPhone

When I was in the Apple store on Friday with my iPad I asked the text the same question. we turned on my iPad and it allowed me to text text message anybody I wanted regardless of what the device. When I left apple store while I'm in the parking lot and I checked it again before I left the area and it still allowed me to text message anybody. Now it is not. And also I cannot email anybody from my iPad today to a non iPhone and that's wrong because until today I have been doing that for weeks. Hmmmm now what

One workarwound is to do the following:
1. Remove the digital content from iTunes (but keep the files)
2. Rename all .m4v files to .mp4 files
3. Add the files back to iTunes
This seems to fix the problem for me

TS1424 My itunes is working fine but my store will not open. I see a loading bar but no store and no error message. I have tried reinstalling nothing works. On the store page I just get the copy rite but no store.

Of course your password shouldn't work on a different Apple ID. This can happen for many reasons, no worries, just sign out back back in using your own ID.

This feature only works with people who have iMessage on their iPhone. If you are sending a text to someone with a blackberry etc, you will not get the delivery messages.

Tomatoe, I've had this issue with my device and understand how frustrating it is when the message that is meant for you is seen by others. YOU have the option to turn your group texting off but the person sending the message reply back to you will need to turn their group texting off so that it does not go to everyone. I will list the steps to turn your group texting off but I recommend having the person who is sending you a reply to turn their off.
1) Click Settings
2) Click Messaging
3) Slide the Bar from on/off for Group Texting

Unable to send or recieve video text messages after jelly bean

I recieved the jelly bean update and I can not send a video message. When I try it says that it is to large. This occurs even if its a 2 sec video. My video is set at the lowest setting also. When I recieve a video message all I get is the audio. Please help

On a Motorola Droid Bionic, if you are planning to send a video, you must first change the video recording mode to mms. Trying to send the video in any other video setting, will not allow you to send it and will give you an error message that the file is too large. To change the recording setting mms tap on the Camera icon>switch to video mode>tap menu>tap on the video mode icon next to the microphone>select video message. Once you have changed your setting to video mode, record your video and then send it. If you are still having issues with sending a video via text message in video mode, please reach out to us. We will be more than happy to assist you in further troubleshooting.

I just got the iphone 4s, and am having problems sending and receiving some text messages, it is saying "Message Send Failure"

Same problem persists also here. Have crosschecked with friend, all same settings, have deleted the contacted, created again, still that number does not receive my SMS (no question on iMessage). Can not even reply her message. This problem persists with few numbers, nothing common, different phones, different countries, different operators. All others, with different operators, in different coutries receive my messages. Even other people can send their SMS to her.

Wow, 1yerdua. That's far too long to be having this messaging trouble. We want to find the resolution fast! If you turn off your Lumia's WiFi (Menu > Settings > WiFi), are you still able to access data-oriented applications like Internet Explorer? Have you been to other areas of the state/country and experienced the same trouble?
