Report on planned overheads

Hi Experts
I have used dedicated costing sheets for calculation of overhead costs on material. Ex: Freight 10%, Insurance 1%.
However, these costs are added to basic cost in all the reports.
Is there any report where i can see break up of overheads?
In case, if need to develop custom report, may please suggest the tables to pull the breakup data.
warm regards
ramSiva

Dear Ahmed
Thanks for your suggestion.
The value category wise report provides consolidated information
However, to have a report as specified below (componentwise break up), need to go for custom development. Any suggestion?
Comp-1 basic    xxxx
"            tax        yyyy
"            freight   zzzz
Comp-2 basic   aaaa
"            tax      bbbb
"           freight cccc
If this is the case, can you let me know the table where the break up of OH costs stored?
warm regards

  • Planned overhead is calculating wrongly in CK11N run, it is just more than double

    Hi Gurus
    1) While running CK11N overhead cost is calculating wrongly on base (material price). In my case I have maintained 1% Overhead on raw material for Duty in cost sheet. In my case no routing, and my FG is getting produced by process order. My Raw material cost is showing Rs. 2,364.45 but my Duty is showing Rs. 48.73, When I run CK11N for Finished goods.
When I Check the costing structure it is showing all the material for costing, if i drill down there it is calculating correctly for Raw materials. Say heavy furnace oil material cost is Rs. 36,140.16 /M.T and overhead is Rs. 361.40 and for all raw material it is calculating correct 1%. But for my finished goods it is just more than 2%.
As per my understanding over head is calculating for RM once @ 1% and later material cost + overhead cost getting calculated by 1% again.
Please see the attachment. I have furnished a statement for this also.
    2) Also Please tell me the T-Code for costing run as actual cost. and how can I show a comparison report on planned and actual report for a product costing.
    3) My scenario is this is a power generation Co. Not possible to maintain activity cost. What they want to do is. on the last day of a month they will take the trial balance for the plant/ business area and will set the percentage in cost sheet (Actual for current month / planned for next month) for admin, manpower and other costs based on raw material GL values.
So I have created a cost sheet where I have maintained base and assigned those RM GL/ Cost elements and other costs I have maintained in cost sheet based on row No. 10 (base) and assigned secondary cost elements and percentages assigned as per overhead type and plant, in cost component structure I have maintained same cost elements as set earlier in cost sheet.
    Please find the file attached
Please suggest me if I M wrong.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi.
In itemization of CK11N over head is showing correct. But the material cost for RM is already after charging overhead. I have checked the itemization of Process order there for the first material was Rs. 144.56, but in the itemization view of CK11N it is showing Rs.148.90/- That means exactly after adding 3% overhead which I maintained in cost sheet.
    Itemization of Ck11N
    Itemization of COR2
    Please Help
    Thanks & Regards

  • PS - Report on Planned v/s actual cost of the project

    Hi,
I have a client requirement on the above subject. In Report S_ALR_87013542, Under actual cost the system is taking both the Revenue and Actual cost booked on the project. Is there any other report wherein the system shows only the actual cost booked on the project so that planned V/s Actual can be compared.
    Rgds,
    Prasad

    Hi,
You can also refer the report S_ALR_87013543 - Actual/Plan/Variance Absolute/Variance %. This will give the reports based on cost elements. Morever plan cost Vs actual cost can be obtained from Project Infosystem report (CN41/ CNS41).
In fact the report S_ALR_87013533 is a hiecherachical report for plan & actual cost of project.
If the system is calculating wrongly both revenue & actual cost under actual then you need to check Cost elements asignments & value category details.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Variance report for planned vs actual 261

    Hi Experts,
Is there a variance report for planned v/s actual raw material consumption for an order when the order is still running? I mean when only the partial quantities are confirmed (PCNF, PDLV)?
    Regards,
    Sachin

    Hi,
Always the plannig is done for ordered quantity and the actual quantity is what actually used.
Pl. use T code CO02/CO03 - Goto - Cost Analysysis, you will get the details which you are looking for. If the layout doesn't suits your requirement, change layout with change options.

    Hi All,
When i executed the report S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned, the commitments are shown at WBS level but not at activity level. Is there any setting required to see the commitments at the activity level?
Where as the planned costs are shown against the activity in the same report.
Please suggest the required settings if any?
    Regards,
    Ramana.

    HI Rifaee/Martina,
In CJI5 the line items are shown under the WBS. But i would like to see the line items in the report.
Even after running the report cjen the database is not updated for line itemwise commitment in the report.
How to assign the PR/PO as account assignments to activity? Where do i need to do this setting? Please inform.

  • Error while creating Data Form Definition report from Planning

    Hi All,
    Working on Planning 11.1.2 (x64)
I tried to generate a Data Form Definition report from Planning and found that I get an error if I select the option "Include member selection list". By going a bit deeper, I realised that it errors for some forms while works fine for others.
I have tried to find any differences in setting or selection between the forms but haven't been able to see anything that struck me as a reason for error.
    Help please.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

  • User issue with a report supply planning area today monthly

this is a support issue....the user has an issue with a report supply planning area today monthly.  The user is getting wrong values in BW, it sums PLOs and POs under production (config).  for eg:  BW says we are producing 46T while in R/3 we have 4T.

The issue was related to the heap size being too much and as a result the Class block memory was not getting enough memory. I think we can make a use of -XXCompressedRefs:32 parameter in the Java start up to allow the heap size to increase till 32 Gb.

  • How to Close Planned Overhead Rates after production order/ CK40N

    Hi,
While creating production order,it will pick planned overheads from Costing Sheet. After closing the production Oder, how will we close the planned overheads?
For example: We have maintained the planned overheads as 3% in the costing sheet.Over a period of time we have observed the actual overheads is only 2%.How to deal with this in the system. In this case how to close the planned overheads which we got from costing sheet?
    Kindly advice me
    thanks
    Sunitha

    Hi,
If i understand you correctly, currently your planned overhead rate is 3% and you wants to change to 2%.
if this is the case goto your Overhead rate in configuration and copy overhead rate key which is with plan overhead type(2). and change 3% end as of today and copied one with new rate (e.g 2%) as of tomorrow and till end of life(12/31/9999)....
    hope this helps you.
    Thanks,

  • Reporting of plan data - which one?

    Hi,
Now i am standing before reporting my planning data. Is it possible to transfer to OBI EE without any data, hierarchy loss?
On the other hand, I would like to know which one of the three reporting tools (Interactive reporting, web analysis, financial reporting) shall i choose for reporting my planning data. Are there some advantages or disadvantages to each of them?

It is possible to use OBIEE to report though it would not be my first option at the moment, there are still issues that will resolved when it becomes more integrated with essbase in future releases.
If you want to know about the other reporting tools have a look at :-

  • Steps to Configure email in Hyperion Reporting and planning.

    Hi all,
I am new to Oracle hyperion. we have one requirement to configure email for reports and planning. so can anyone please give me detailed navigations on how can I configure email.
    Thanks in advance.

These are not in SharePoint. those web.config are in ADFS server.
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/4184.ad-fs-2-0-auto-populate-the-username-field-of-the-forms-sign-in-page-when-signing-in-to-office-365.aspx
    Modify FormsSignIn.aspx.cs
    1. Open FormsSignIn.aspx.cs for editing
    2. Find the following and set your cursor to the next line down:
        using System;
    3. Paste the following code:
        using System.Web;
    4. Find the following and set your cursor to the next line down:
protected void Page_Load( object sender, EventArgs e )
    5. Paste the following code:
        HttpCookie cookie = Context.Request.Cookies.Get( "Office365Username" );
         if ( null != cookie && !String.IsNullOrEmpty( cookie.Value ) )
                 UsernameTextBox.Text = cookie.Value;
                 cookie.Expires = DateTime.UtcNow.AddDays( -1 );
                 cookie.Value = "";
                Context.Response.Cookies.Add( cookie );
    6. Save and Close FormsSignIn.aspx.cs
    Test
    1. Launch Internet Explorer and browse to
    https://portal.microsoftonline.com
    2. Type the username and tab to the password
field to cause the UPN suffix detection to trigger
    3. Select the link which takes you to sign in at your AD FS 2.0 Federation Service
    4. Observe the forms-based sign-in page presented to you. You should find that the username field is populated with the value used on the Office 365 sign-in page.

  • Suppiler Plan Overhead

I have a question with regards to supplier plan overhead. One of the things the
Forte Immersion Program taught us was to look for the Display project in non
window projects. Seems like common sense why have it there if it is not
required. I think the reason goes beyond that though and has something to do
with overhead. I recently came back from a Java training course where the
instructor explained that any class libraries that you import will not add any
over head until you instanciate an object from that library. Is the same true
with Forte? Regardless of how many supplier plans I have included, is there any
overhead incurred? I have a feeling the answer is yes. If this is true then
does the overhead become the overhaul size of the distribution (kbs) or is there
    performance overhead as well?
    Thanks in advance,
    Phil

    Hi,
In fact, you will have all reccurent suppliers on your partitions if don't make any
design. The granularity on Forte is the project (in R3). I think that the
granularity in Java should be the component (I don't know well Java), but you may
have some bottle neck problematic to resolve if the deployement is dynamic for
instance. In Forte R4, I hope that the granularity should be the component (if I
understood well it is in SynerJ).
The reason you can have DisplayProject on the server side is often a problem of
design : you have placed your business classes and your windows on the same project
for instance (so you have DisplayProject as a supplier). So you will find the
DisplayProject class definitions on your server partition.
The dynamic load of definitions can be done on Forte using libraries for instance,
but you will have constraints and a real design to do it. The best I found is to
make a "publication" project containing the Business Class and Business Service
definitions you will need. It can, then, be conditionned as a library. Then you will
have this project as a supplier of the User project. And finally, if you need to use
a Service object based on a Business Service definitions, you will use the name
service to point to it from th client partition, but you will loose the auto-start
of the partition. For the server partition you will only use it as a supplier an
base your service objects on the classes it contains. You can find on my site
http://perso.club-internet.fr/dnguyen/ a component (and a sample) on that subject.
A big advantage of libraries, is that you are able to deploy your application by
pieces (with a good configuration management of course!). This is the way Conductor
works. An other big advantage is that you can design dynamic deployement (once more
just like in Conductor). A big disadvantage, on the deployement part, is that you
would need Tools to manage that "fluently" on the environment : be able to destroy
automatically the libraries that are useless, be able to know who (which application
or library) is using a library...
    Hope this helps,
    Daniel Nguyen
