Information Messages while creation of the sales order thru EDI 850
Hello All,
I am trying to create a Sales Order using EDI 850. When i am doing the same i am getting the information messages and the Sales Order is not created and the IDOC is in 51 status. I am using the ORDERS05 Idoc Type.
Following are some of the messages i get: 1. Oldest of open items overdue; 2. Document Complete 3. ISO Country code not found.
some are valid message and i have already fixed them. But when i create the sales order manually it gives me the sales order number even though i get the information messages.
Please let me know is there any setting that i have to make for EDI process to counter the information messages.

in you look at IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, it does some basic validations first, and collect those errors in ERRTAB and set the status to 51. for manual reprocessing of the IDOC, it doesnt care about those pre validations, and goes directly into VA01 processing -
Error when i reject the sales order
Hi:
I´m in Upgrade to 6.0, and when I reject a sales order in SD, the system show me this message "Subsequent function 'Production order/plan order from sales document' not possible: Item 000010 was rejected Message no. V1579".
In the implementation the products was delivered for the company, but today they work with service orders but the integration SD with PP is until running but they user the order for documentation and to saw the costs.
I wrote a SAP message and read this notes 964813 and Note 1028464 but both are already aplicated. SAP responce to me but I don´t konw to much of the SD and PP integration. Please, can any one help me?

I was analyzing the problme in your system.
If I understand you rigt you are expecting that the link between the
sales order and the production order is not deleted when you set the
reason for rejection. When you set the reason for rejection again then anew production order is created.
The standard behaviour is that the link between sales order and
production/assembly/service order is deleted. As field vbep-aufnr is
deleted also no later restructuring is possible.
In the header table of the order aufk-kdauf there is still the relation
to the sales order number but there is a deletion flag set for it and
the link can't be reactivated.

In the table AFKO I don´t have any order document. I searched this, before reject the sales order, and then, when I try to reject the sales order, and in both cases I don´t have the relation about the order and the sales order in this table.
I looked at the table AUFK and in the field KDAUF I saw the sales order and the relation with the PM order, and this is my problem, I don´t no why the message error tell me something about PP order, I didn´t understand.
I saw the customizing and I Know they works with the "Strategy group" in materials and it was customizing in "Demand Management" and the order was customizing in "Plant Maintenance and Customer Service", (PM) customizing the Order Types. I think when finally they decided that the material was only for services, they changed something, and the customizing is not complete in PP.
In the old version 4.6C the rejection of sales order works, but in this version 6.0 and with MRP implementacion I don´t know in what step this was change. If you Know where can i find if something of MRP affect the previous integration please let me know, because I think is a PP customizing problem.

Hope you are aware of the configurations you need to maintain for the Text determination.Anyway, herewith are the steps that may help you to accomplish your requirement.
Text Determination procedure for sales document header:
Text can be determined at sales document header level or it can be imported from customer master. The process is...
Define Text types: Path: Imgsales and distributionbasic functionstext controldefine text types
Select sales document header. click on text types go to new entries and define text types. For Eg:Z1
Define Access sequence:
Select sales document header
Click on change icon
Click on access sequence control button under dialog structure
Go to new entries and define access sequence number with description.Ex: 55
Save it and exit
Define text determination procedure:
Go to new entries
Define text determination procedure.Ex: ZX save it and exit
Assign text id's to text determination procedure:
Select your text determination procedure(ZX)
click on text id's in text procedure control button under dialog structure
go to new entries and maintain entries. Text id:assign text id (Z1) that we defined in the previous step
Specify sequence No-10
Check Reference: this indicator specify that the text is reference or copies from preceding object
Text in obligatory: text will be displayed during copying. the value of this field specifies whether text is obligatory or not and if it is obligatory the how it is to be displayed
Apart from this... you also have to maintain the text in the Customer master as mentioned in the previous mail..

Warning message is thrown,while raising a sales order Warning message:
When i am raising the sales order,warning message is thrown stating "No financial document",can any one solve the problem.
It is because, the said field (LCNUM) is made as mandatory in your settings. While creating sale order, go to header tab "Billing Document" where you can see this field. Press F4 and maintain the relevant licence reference.
It seems you were trying to create an export sale order where the terms would have been L/C. For information, to create an export L/C, the TCode is VX11N and once you give all the required data and save, system will pop up a reference. This reference number has to be assigned in sale order

When the sale order creting with route
when iam creating the sale order with route is coming automatically with route determination. but this specific order i did nt want route so deleated and save and is ove my problem. but with ref the same order i am doing it wail not appearing the route in order so pl help me

If you have mainatined route determination, the route will be picked automatically in the order, if you dont want u can remove the route in the order itself, now if you are creating delivery wrt order the route will not be picked in the order as u have removed the route frm the order.
But if you create a order again the route will be picked if you have not deleted the route determination in the SPRO.

Incompletion log Profitability Segment at item level in the Sales Order
Hello Sapians,
We recently activated the "Sales Order value flow to COPA". When we create the Sales Orders the Profitability segment for the item is getting picked up automatically and have no issue in saving the Sales Order.
But when we edit the Sales Order and then try to save it, Sales Order has incompletion log which is leading to Profitability segment in the item level.
When I click the little box in Sales Order Item > Account Assignment tab> Profitability Segment forward arrow--> "continue" or "derivation" in the populated screen, then the Forward arrow in the profitability segment is deriving the characteristics, then system lets us to save the Sales order with out any incompletion log.
I checked the OSS notes 114520, in this OSS note, my sitiuation is exactly first point but could not get any clue how to resolve automatically.
Why it is happening only when we edit the Sales Order? How to update bulk of Sales Order automatically?

Since you have activated the Sales order flow to COPA, any change in the sales order triggers a Prof Segment redetermination.... Thats why you are able to save it once you redetermine the Prof Segment....
Ideally, if no Chars like Plant/Org Elements/etc are changed - It need not trigger the Prof Segment redetermination...
Refer Note 729381 - When is a profitability segment supposed to be determined?.... With ref to this note, raise an OSS msg to SAP and check if it is possible to avoid the redetermination of PSG as long as none of the relevant chars are changed in the sales order....
There is a similar issue in MTO where by, even if you change the Header text of sales order, it triggers the Sales order cost estimate.... SAP provided a note to stop this... Note 1548608 & 1260868.... Your case is similar to this.... Raise an OSS to SAP and ask them if they can provide such a note for your case.... I feel, it should be possible for SAP to give this!

Manually Enter the Sales Order Schedule Line
Dear All,
I have a requirement where Sales Order will be created by Customer Service with Quantity and customer requested delivery date. Subsequently Planning department will go to the sales order schedule lines and enter manually the delivery date and confirmed quantity (multiple schedule lines) based on the stock/availability. They also need to do some changes in the shedule line if required. But when I try, the manually entered schedule lines are disappeared. Could any one advice how to set this up?

A schedule line gets grade out because this has been determined . through schedule line determination. . Now in the shipping data tab you can change the schedule line tab if you want . manually you can change the request delivery date also.
But it is not advisable to change the schedule line because again the affect of availability check will vary.
But can we know for what purpose you want to change the schedule line when you create the sales order. Any reason .For what purpose you are going for that customization ?For what purpose?

Availability Check at Multiple Plants for the Sales Order line Item.

We are having two plants, Plant A and Plant B. Plant A is used to issue the orders to the vendors and stock them, while Plant B is used to manufacture the Product and Stock.
When we create the sales order, we want to check the Current Stock Plus Incomming Purchase order stock for plant A and also check current stock plus Production orders in plant B.
for ex if the current stock is 100 in Plant A and No physical stock in Plant B but there are some production orders for 400 Qty which will be ready in 1 week.
If i create a sales order for 500 qty which is scheduled for delivery 10 days later. then we want to commit to the customer ( Looking at both the plants stock situation ) the system should check the stock availability for both the plants and automatically create two different line items , Line item 1 for plant A and line item 2 for plant b.
I know there is a user exit for Multiple plant selection USEREXIT_PLANT_SELECTION in program RV03VFZZ. The Description of the USer exit says ( This user exit may be used to provide a list of plants for which availability is to be checked) But we have never used this one. Will this user exit do exactly what i want ??
Did any of you, have used the above User exit in your implementations ? If so please let me know whats the purpose of this user exit

I dont know about the userexit which you are referring about
But this is not available in R3 The system makes a Availability Check only in the plant which has got determined in the item details shipping tab and stops there
The same is available in APO
If there are 2 plants say 1000 and 2000
In sales order the plant determined is 1000 and there is no stock
In R3 system stops there
But in APO system checks the plant 2000 and if stocks are available it creates an STO in the background automatically from 2000 to 1000 if configured accordingly
Even if the material is maintained in 10 plants the system will make a Availability Check at all 10 plants and act accordingly

Any way to hide the Option CLASSes in the sales order line ? Not thru personalization .and also is there a way to explode the model automatically when we open the sales order form and line details ,rather than going to Tool--Show details everytime

2) Set "OM: Show Line Details" profile option to Yes.

Billing Block removal not updated in the sales order change log
Hi Gurus,
A specific Billing Block is automatically assigned to the sales document header (VBAK-FAKSK) when the net value of the sales order is negative. This is an order related billing.
Sometimes the Billing block is getting released automatically and the Negative Invoice is getting created in the Background job run for creating the invoices. When we check the sales order, the Billing block is not existing and the removal of the billing block is not recorded in the Change Log of the sales order.In the CDHDR table also there are no details about the release of the billing block.
This is happening only occassionally. When I tried to replicate the issue, the system is not allowing me to create the invoice as long as the billing block is there in the sales order and if I remove the block, it is recorded in the sales order change log.
My doubt is.,
1. How the billing block is getting released automatically?
2. Even if the block is released, why it is not recorded in the Change Log of the sales order?

The PO number field you see in VA03 is usually an input which need not be an actual PO number existing in the current system.So you can have a PO number like 'test123'.The system will accept it and store it as is in the table VBAK.
However if you create a sales order with reference to a PO number then the PO number obviously does exist in the system and can be accessed via transaction ME23n and can also be found in tables EKKO,EKPO.
So to sum up the number you enter in the PO field may or may not be an actual PO number existing in the SAP system.it can be used as a reference for later checks a customer may do when he calls to find out the status of his sales order.

Display hidden fields in the Sales Order

I have a question. How can I show hidden fields using forms personalization? The issue I'm currently working right now is for Sales Order. One of the requirements is to make the subinventory field required for certain users. However, the subinventory field is hidden and I need to go to "FOLDER" then "SHOW FIELDS" from the drop down, choose "SUBINVENTORY" before field the gets displayed.
Thank you in advance for your help! :)Those users can create a folder and save it and make it their default folder.
This way, the subinventory field shows up automatically when they open the Sales order screen.

Warning popup when raising a sale order

I have a reqt, where in when raising a sale order, the user will enter the Price manually, the PR00 has to compare with the VPRS of the material master & if the sale price is less than the cost, a pop up should appear on the sale order screen (Warning Message).
Could anyone tell how to achieve this.

Use this user exit to make certain changes or checks immediately
before saving a document. It is the last possibility for changing or
checking a document before posting.
The user exit is carried out at the beginning of the FORM routine
