Messages notification keeps counting on iPhone with iOS7

My friend sent me an image through imessage and as i clicked it my messages froze then crashed out. When I re-opened the app, all the messages were deleted and whenever that specific person sends me a text, the unread notifications keep adding up on the app even if I have already read the text. It only happens for that specific person but not for anyone else. I tried resetting and everything. I am on iOS7.1

This is when the phone is unlocked mode. My snapshot is when the phone is locked.
Remember when you get a call when the phone is locked and you used to have slide to answer in iOS 6 and if you slide up you would have options to reject, reject with a message and reject with a reminder. We dont have that in iOS 7. iOS 7 *****, I cannot get back to iOS6, apple needs to be user friendly. Screen shot 1 when the phone is locked, screenshot 2 when the phone is unlocked.

I have an iPhone with iOS7, but the device is no longer detected in iCloud. iCloud is set up on my device, it used to detect it... now it says "you must be signed into iOS8 to see devices." Is there a way to detect an iPhone with iOS7 without upgrade?
Simple solution may be to upgrade iOS, but I just lost my phone, and am trying to use 'find my iPhone' feature but my iPhone is not even recognized as a device I own in the iCloud. What about the backup of everything I have on my iPhone that was supposed to be stored in the iCloud?? Please help!

(By the way, I should have pointed out in my earlier posting that I'm running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on my Mac). I Just installed latest Yosemite update while my iPhone was switched off, and when my Mac restarted, the 'iPhone Cellular Calls' checkbox in the FaceTime preferences was checked and the problem was therefore solved. Switched on my iPhone, still fine. Relief.

Hi Khuram1981 - thank you thank you thank you! All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

I am only showing pre set calendar entries for the year and lost all other calendar entrie and it will not take any new entries. They show up in my outlook, but not on my iphone, which they did before I updated my software to the new i0s7

Before syncing, select each calendar on your Mac and back it up by going to File>Export>Export. If anything goes missing, you can use these to restore your calendars.
Have you tried simply force closing the calendar app on your iPhone? To do this, double-tap the home button, locate the calendar app, then swipe up on the image above the app icloud to close it and tap the home bottom. Then test your calendar again.

If you have an iPhone 5, try a hard restart of the phone (holding the on/off and home buttons at the same time until the phone turns off then restarts. Don't let go of either button until it begins to restart). I was having the same problem and spent about an hour with Apple Support thru Chat. That was what solved the problem.

Backup contacts & messages and restore on new iphone with another computer

My brother gifted me iphone-4 which was in his use, he has no music, videos even not much photos. But he has much contacts and messages also messages on viber.
I made backup by iTune and also copied the backup folder from mobilesync from my computer. the backup is just only about 256MB.
If i email him this backup folder or give on flash drive, Can he restore on his new iphone-4 or iphone-5 ?
please advice me in this regard that the itune backup include contacts & messages and can be restored on new mobile with another computer.

Thanks for the question, and congratulations on the iPhone gift.
It sounds like you are doing everything correct, however I suggest that you backup your iPhone, and restore his iPhone with the backup at the same time (instead of emailing). The backup file is probably too big to email to your brother. You could also use iCloud to accomplish this:

Why are my iPhone 5 email notifications randomly at full volume with iOS7.1.1 upgrade, regardless of the volume settings?

Ever since I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1.1, my email notification ringtone randomly (but infrequently) plays at full volume instead of the assigned ringer volume setting. My normal ringer volume is at about 50%, none one of the other notifications such as "new text message" behave this way, and this behavior only occurs once every 2 or 3 days... independent of battery charge level. There seems to be no pattern to the issue. I know this sounds crazy, but this did not happen with prior iOS versions on this phone. Really annoying when I forget to silence the phone before attending meetings and the super-loud notification ringtone goes off...

In your project view can you right click on the chassis in the cRIO and make sure that it is set for Scan Mode and not FPGA mode? Also, In the measurement and automation explorer you can check the cRIO and verify that it has Scan Engine Support installed on it. Is there a way to limit the number of inbox email messages showing? On iOS6, it was in Settings under Mail but this option is not there on iOS7 Is it hiding somewhere else? If this isn't an option at all, are there any suggestions on a work around? Without it, a lot of memory is being wasted. Thanks!

Turn up the alert volume all the way in Sounds. Lock it so you can't change it with the buttons.
