Method "show_doc_meta_data" not working for me in "cl_gui_ecl_2dviewer "

Hello all,
I want to show the meta-data within an image, when showed with the ECL-Viewer.
I performed the following steps in my ABAP-Code, but it is not working.
Creating an object of the class "cl_gui_docking_container"
Creating an object of the class "cl_gui_ecl_2dviewer" with a refernece of the container
Calling method "create_toolbar"
Calling method "open_document" with the path to the file and the file_type
Up to this point everything works without any problem.
But now I want to show my created META-DATA of the image, which I have added with the method "set_doc_meta_data".
After calling the method "show_doc_meta_data" the appended data is not visible on my image.
What going wrong in the method of my coding?

I have made Custom class for a workflow. This class is triggering the WF fine but the problem is while trying to execute a WF task which contains a Instance Dependent & Public method its not working , the WF task is not processing though I'm passing the instance of the class properly from WF to WF task . When I'm changing the method to Static & Public then the workitem is executing perfectly. Can you please help & suggest the way to find the problem ?

Are you absolutely sure that you have the instance of the object in the workflow container? Open the technical log the see if the object instance is there - or is the container element initial (or "not set")?
yes it is instantiated properly no error over there.
What about if you test the method directly in SE24 (as an instance method)? Is it working then? If you can make it work in SE24 as an instance method and you are sure that the instance exists in the workflow,
I have checked the class in a stand alone run in this case also it runs fine as before.
The obvious question of course is that have you implemented the IF_WORKFLOW interface methods (the two first ones).

Main confusion is Method is working only if declared STATIC & PUBLIC but not for the INSTANCE DEPENDENT & PUBLIC.

LSMW Recording method is not working for transaction code FBL5N

I am trying to prepare LSMW to create dispute cases for customer line items through LSMW Recording method. When i was trying to do through SHDB Recording its working properly through Program. But its not working through LSMW Recording method means its not executing to next screen, immediately its displaying session completed screen.

If my memory serves me correctly, a BDC will not work correctly with a list. This is mentioned somewhere in the SAP help pages.
Now I am not familiar on how to create dispute cases but using FBL5N does not sound to me the way to go. I assume that you use FBL5N in order to determine to which documents to link the dispute to, however you should be able to get the requested info from the BSID/BSAD tables.
Also in case you want to change the customer line item in the accounting document, check the data transfer workbench (SXDA) as SAP delivers a standard program for this.

For more than 1 line item its giving Error saying that

i will still research the subject. but the first thing that comes into my mind is t-code VA05. with this, you have the option to change the Plant en masse. so a possible workaround is for you to list a number of sales orders using VA05. you then sort the line items by Plant. choose all items with the same plant, change the plant via mass change... then change back to the original plant. hopefully, the new settings should apply.
do test a few sales orders by doing this for a larger scope.

Fingerprint utility is not working for normal users - Tecra M11

Hi All,
I installed windows 7 pro in Tecra M11 laptop and the Toshiba finger print utility is not working for normal users.
It is working only for domain administrators. The TFPU is not working for, normal domain users, local users, local administrators. If we run the utility it will ask to enter the windows password and once we applied the password then the message saying "entered password is not valid" will prompt even if we are trying to use the utility first time.
If we try with a domain admin account it will work without any problem. Can somebody help me to trouble shoot this issue?

People nowadays experienced that no matter How many times we glide our finger it have no response.In this instance, you might be very afraid of Windows password lost by reason that there is a plenty of important data on your PC.

Central Autoreaction Method doesn't work for NW 7.10 in SolMan 7.01

The central autoreaction method doesn't work for the satellite system
NW 7.10. For systems with kernel releases 4.6D, 640, 700 this method
works fine and e-mail alerts are coming.
The configuration steps I've checked:
1. Configured SCOT. The mail_send job executes every 5 minutes.
2. Background dispatching job is released: SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP (In
central CEN/000/DDIC and satellite system SAT/000/DDIC)
3. Central dispatching job is released: SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER
(Only in central system CEN/000/DDIC)
4. The sapccm4x-agent registered as web service within CEN using
Create Remote Monitoring for NW 7.10:
Connection test to SAPCCM4X.<satellite_host>.00 was performed successfully
5. Created a new autoreaction method by copying method
CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 to the own Z_CCMS_Email_Alert_CEN:
Function Module - SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2
Execute Method on Any Server and Only in Central System, triggered by
CCMS agents

6. Got MTE Classes from NW 7.10 satellite system and assigned this method

7. The mail_send job doesn't send anything, in SCOT there are no
sending orders.
8. Autoreaction status on this alert in CEN in RZ20 - Sent to CEN.

9. The alert status in RZ20 in CEN - ACTION_REQUIRED. If I execute it
in manual the alert status changes to ACTIVE, but no email and no
messages in sending orders in SCOT.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Since you are using RECIPIENT-TYPEID =C i.e. General distribution list, pls ensure to have shared type of list created in SBWP.
Also pls verify your SCOT configutaion , if apropriate address area i.e. *@abc.com
Also one point to note that even if you trigger auto reaction method manually via RZ20 , pls check if alert is listed in SOST.
if yes , that means there is problem in either SCOT configuration or distribution list.
If alert is not appearing in SOST , that means you need to check auto reaction method parameters;
Z_CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 , here check release section if Auto reaction execution method is checked.

File.execute() not working for bat file

The purpose of my function copyToWinClipboard (text) is to get a string directly into the Windows Clipboard. The purpose is to allow the user of my project just to paste into the open-dialog of the application EndNote. I’m not certain whether the FM clipboard (supported by the copy/cut/paste methods for Doc) really fills into the Windows Clipboard also.
In the PhotoShop script forum I found the idea how to do this.

using sqlmonitor i have traced the forms 6i (.fmx),in this case toad additional
software sql monitor is automatically added the frmbld.exe in application.
whatever i am doing in forms runtime the sqlmonitor provide the sql query.
for examble i am opening the lov with the help of F9.Now the sqlmonitor trace
the sql query for that lov item.so its very helpful to see the query without
the source(.fmb).
Now the problem is the sqlmonitor is not added the iexplore.exe in application.
because it added frmbld.exe only not for iexplore.exe.but the 10g forms are
running from the explorer.is there any other forms trace method is available

Copa derivation rule not working for Discount GL

Hi All,
Kindly note that I have a distribution rule where company & plant combination is used where condtion is that customer group 3 should be 018 and then replace distribution channel to 03.However the rule is not working for discount GL posted in the billing document.
I tried testing it in FB50 but then it does not allows me to enter plant and because of that derivation rule fails. However in my billing doc I do see a plant against discount GL and still the rule is not getting picked.
I had raised this issue earlier but the reply where not as expected and so I have rephraised my question.
Kindly help me on this.

I could not understand your req to a great detail, following are my observations
1. There should be derivation rule in place 1st of all to derive customer group from billing doc...
Check if Cust Group is populated in your COPA doc or not.. For this cust group should be a segment level char in KEQ3
2. Create a derivation rule using method "Derivation".
Source fields would be Cust Group, Plant and Company code ( I guess you want to change dist channel with this combination)
Target field would be VTWEG (Dist Channel)....Click on the magnifying lens beside VTWEG and choose relevant radio button "Overwrite if ......."
CLick on RULE VALUES and maintain the required Values there
This should work...

SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges Not Working for Read Only Permissions Users

I have the following code in a method that generates tabbed web parts on any page in SharePoint 2010.
The problem is that it will not work for users who have Read access only on a SharePoint site. It will work when those users have Contribute access.
So even though I have elevated permissions in the code it does not actually elevate the permissions at the point where it is needed.

REP-51018 -- cookie method is not working :(

Trying to invoke a simple report from a simple form by using web.show_document()
if I pass the userid=x/y@z then it work fine
if I try to use the cookie method as defined in the OTN whitepaper "Secure Web.Show_Document() calls to Oracle Reports", I am bumping to the REP-51018 error.
Tried the metalink and found primarily 2 documents, one (note#279938) is suggesting using
SYNCHRONIZE; prior to invoking the WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT(...), which I did - not worked,
then I read the document (#309652.1) which tells that the cookie method will not work if not using fully qualified domain name -- I have a fully qualified domain name and I can see in the browser cookie settings that the domain is set correctly.
I also edited the basejini.htm and basejpi.htm files and added the suggested entries as shown in the same OTN whitepaper (page #9). And recycled the entire iAS server after all the editing (reports.sh, formsweb.cfg, etc).
I can see the cookie is saved on the client browser and the userid is displayed in the JInitiator control window.
