Metronome BPM Doesn't Line Up

The metronome on Logic Express 8 is completely off for me. If I import anything at a given tempo, and set the computer metronome to the same tempo, it doesn't line up. For example, I downloaded the Radiohead "Reckoner" remix stems, which listed the BPM at 103.4. I changed Logic's metronome to match, and within about 10 measures it was off by almost a full beat. Any advice on how to fix this?

Firstly you are not using a doctype (which sends non
compliant browsers into
quirks mode)....
more about this here:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/doctype/
Secondly, the whole page is just a sliced up image. If Search
Engine
placement is going to be important to you the page isn't
going to do very
well as there is no actual 'text' on the page for the spiders
to 'feed on'.
You should be slicing up that original image and then
building the page in
Dreamweaver itself, not letting a graphics program slice the
image and
exporting the html that it generates. It generates a very
fragile and
inflexible layout.

    Hi
    I have reinstalled the XI-Server and implemented a simple File-to-File scenario with and without BPM but neither one worked. The file wasn't deleted from the server.

    Maybe a problem with the adapter engine?
    What should I check?

  • CSS:  doesn't line up in F/fox

    Hi,
    You could try replacing your rules for these....
    body {
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    background-image: url(images/background.jpg);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-color: #292C31;

    margin-left: auto;
    padding: 0px;
    padding-top: 21px;

  • Print Booklet in Indesign cs6 doesn't line up correctly

    Has anyone had luck with the "Print Booklet" tool to proof a multi-page catalog? I tried printing double sided on a Canon ir4035 and found that the front and rear sides didn't line up.
    I'm thinking of buying a nice new 12 x 18 color laser, and I want to make sure that "print booklet" really works on double sided printers before spending the money.
    Thanks,
    John

    I suspect the problem is not InDesign, but the printer. Printers in this class just don't have the same sort of tolerances that a printing press can achieve for sheet-to-sheet and front-to-back registration. It's not unusual to see as much as 1/8 in overal drift through a print run. If the misalignment is fairly uniform you could consider printing to PDF (windows) or postscript and distilling (mac), then place the PDF into a new file and shift every other page to compensate.

  • Text in a shape doesn't line up, is it a bug?

    I created a triangular shape, and then double-clicked to add text within that shape.  The strange things is some of the text (generally along the 45 degrees angle) is either slightly above or below the baseline of the text (see image below).  Anyone know if this is just a bug or is there something I can do to fix this?  Any help is greatly appreciated otherwise I'll be forced to use Adobe's Indesign which is overkill for this project.  Thanks in advance.
    Ps.  I'm using the latest Pages v4.3 (1048) and OSX 10.8.4.

    No baseline shift on that text?
    Have you experimented with changing the text around to see if this is truely a localised effect?
    We can't see the overall shape to see what is going on.
    I'd love to see the original file (click on my blue name and email me) to check whether this actually a bug or merely a consequence of the Design/Layout.

  • Seam doesn't line up

    On the right side of my MBP (only 2 months old) the surface isn't flush along the seam that runs above the UBS/Firewire openings. I can push down on the surface and it pops up. It actually looks slightly warped. Paying almost 2 grand for a refurb, I still don't think it should be less than perfect. Is this something I should bring to the local Apple Store?

    by not flush i assume you mean its not a tight fit right (about enough to get a piece of paper to kinda catch into it). if so i think that is pretty normal tolerance, if its much more (to the point that you could get a piece of paper into the machine then that might be an issue)
    warping is a known issue on MBP's but it is not consistent from machine to machine so there isnt an easy way to track it down

  • Make sure your server room door doesn't line up with the power button

    I see kitchen/bath room tile should I even I ask........

    Best comment:
    "You know that feeling. It happens in slow motion when your senses are sharpened like that scene in Limitless when he takes the drug for the first time. Your eyes can see THROUGH matter, and you can hear in 4 dimensions. You ask yourself in second person, "What did you just do?". You can understand it, but you refuse to accept it. You actually try to rewind time to that split nanosecond when you observed it, in order to change it. But you can't. You now have to concentrate on every breath to keep breathing.
    I can count these moments vividly in various server rooms in my career and they will haunt me to my grave."

  • PHP Include File works but doesn't line up with the Rest of Page

    Hi,
    I am having a serious problem. I have removed my header image and have decided to replace it with a php include file so if any changes needs to be made, it can all be done in the php file in case such as links.
    When I include the php file, it includes the file but for some reason the banner goes in one direction and the body goes in the other. Help me as I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
    Example Page (with the include file): http://www.specialist-events.com/events2.php
    This is how a page looks without the PHP Include File: http://www.specialist-events.com/events1.php
    Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.
    Thanks
    Junior

    Hi Nancy,
    Just to confirm what you are telling me I should do.
    Change the code in the web page to:
    <div id="header">
    <!--#include virtual="Includes/HeadMenu.ssi" -->
    <!--end header --> </div>
    so inside the layer 1 of the page, put the following code should be
    <div id="layer1">
    <!--#include virtual="includes/banner.php" -->
    <!--end header --> </div>
    and in the php file. Not sure how this will work as you are mapping areas of the image for links.
    But I assume inside the map area, you would have something like <<a class="intro" href="http://www.specialist-events.com/index.html">home</a>
    <div id="menu">
    <a href="#content">skip menu &gt;</a>
    <a class="intro" href="index.shtml">home</a>
    <a class="gallery" href="gallery.shtml">gallery</a>
    <a class="tools" href="tools.shtml">tools</a>
    <a class="portfolio" href="portfolio.shtml">portfolio</a>
    <a class="fees" href="Fees.shtml">fees</a>
    <a class="links" href="links.php">links</a>
    <a class="contact" href="contact.shtml">contact</a>
    </div> <!--end menu -->

  • Exception handling in BPM and ABAP mapping

    Hello all,
    We have a BPM with this structure:
    . REC (receiver)
    . <begin BLOCK1>
      . TRANSFORMATION1 (Abap Mapping)
      . <begin EXCEPT> (exception branch)
        . CONTROL (Cancel Process)
    . <end EXCEPT>
    . <end BLOCK1>
    The same exception is assigned to the block; to the mapping and to exception branch.
    The problem is that, when in the Abap Mapping the exception CX_MAPPING_FAULT is raised, the exception branch seems to be ignored and so, the BPM doesn't finish.
    This problem only occurs in some of ours BPMs, because the same thing, when done in other BPMs, works fine.
    I know i can change the BPM to turn around this problem, but i would very much like to know the solution to this.
    Please, help us with this posting.
    thanks in advance
    Filipe Barreira

    Hi again,
    We are in SP19, witch invalidates the note 921757 listed.
    Also, i made an abap mapping witch only raises the exception. So i think it is not an ABAP error.
    Also the XML seems to be correct, because this is a duplicates check routine. A message (with the same data) already entered previously (we trying to avoid another entry).
    In the trace analysis for the message, it is stated that the exception has occurred:

  • Ipod doesn't fit into dock.....

    Hi,
    My daughter just bought herself an 4GB Ipod Nano. She tried to connect the ipod to her dock but the ipod doesn't line up with the connection.
    There seems to be an adapter for the dock to make the slot bigger, which does fit the ipod, but we can't get this to fit into the dock either.
    The instructions don't tell you what to do, nor does anything on Apples web site....these are all Apple accessories and came with the ipod.
    Can someone please help?
    Thanks
    Lynn

    The dock is the Ipod Dock
    There are three iPod docks. Actually, there are more than that.
    You can only use the iPod Universal dock or the 2G iPod Nano dock.
    The adapter that comes with the iPod fits in the Universal dock.
    The iPod will ONLY fit one way. If it does not fit, you have the wrong dock.
    The USB cable plugsd into your computer and then the back of the dock. You put your iPod in as shown below.
    This is the iPod 2G Nano dock.

  • Interface Registration Error -  sync bpm

    Hi,
    I get the following error: No implementing class registered for the interface. Which means there's no proxy configured for the inbound object.
    I firts designed this interface without a bpm which worked fine. Proxy returned a response. I need to convert this into a bpm to add another interface and combine the response so first I'm trying to get this working. It's very simple, from my soap object to a abap proxy and back to the soap object.
    My bpm has 3 steps, async receive > sync sender > async sender. Only place the inbound (proxy) object is defined is in the operation mapping.
    What could be the reason why my bpm doesn't return a response?
    Thanks,
    Jan

    Please check the SM59 transaction on the proxy system, find the RFC for the integration server. Check if the host is correct, the Path Prefix is "/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" and the logon data is correct.

  • Spry, horizontal menu, need all menu buttons on one line

    hi in DW CS4I would like to understand why the spry menu that I have doesn't line up on a straight line horizontally. sometimes it lines up correctly in DW, but when I either go to live view or publish it, one of the menu buttons goes on the next line. If they are all on the same line, sometimes the menu does not go to the end of the other side of the div tag that it is inside of. If you have an article or any tips that you may have, please do share as i am going insane. I guess I should stick to CSS, but I often have the same problems as well.
    Thank you.
    I currently do not have  URL for this website.
    Please see the code attached to this post.

    Simply, your menu list items are too wide (altogether) to fit on the same line.
    I see that you have defined your div#container as 1000px, and your div#nav_bar as, well, it will default to 1000px. Then you have set your MenuBar to 80% of that width, and your list items as 16.8% of that.
    So far, everything is flexible.
    When you get down to ul.MenuBarHorizontal a, however, you have set padding: padding: 0.5em 0.75em; If you change your padding units to percentages, you should be able to find acceptable measures that will allow your list items to remain on one line.
    Keep in mind that, as the following references notes, in some browsers padding is measured in addition to the stated width of your element:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_box_model_bug
    So make sure ALL your percentages add to 100%...including the horizontal padding (for both sides!) and the width (don't add in the vertical padding...that could be left as is). Actually, add them up to slightly less than 100% for comfort. If you get a gap at the end of the menubar, center the menubar and apply a background to the containing div.
