MHTML file image display

Hi everybody,
I work on MS SQL Server 2008.
I have a SSRS report on which I put images. I set up an Action on which image which call an mhtml file recorded on my SSRS portal.
When I open my mhtml file for the first time, the images it contains are not displayed and I don't know why?
How could I fix this problem?

Hi Pete,
In Reporting Services, we can add images to a report from external source, database tables, or images embedded into the report definition. From your description, do you mean that the report displays images well in Report Manager but the exported MHTML file
cannot display the images properly?
If so, the issue might occur if the Internet Explorer (IE) blocks some contents of the MHTML file. At this time, I suggest you to check the IE security settings. Please refer to the steps below:
In the Internet Explorer, click "Tools", and select "Internet Options".
Click "Advanced" tab, and then check the "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" option under "Security" item. Click “OK”.
Then, restart the IE to see if this help.

    From your description, the Charts/Graphics included in the report are not displayed when viewing the exported MHTML file. From the "Export the report" section of the article
    View a Reporting Services report, I suggest that you export the report to MHTML again, and then check the issue.
    If the issue persists, the charts/graphics might be blocked by certain Internet Explorer settings. In this condition, I suggest that you open the MHTML file through a third party browser. Meanwhile, you can check the IE Advanced settings. For example,
    please check the following options are enabled:
    Enable automatic image resizing
    Allow active content to run in files on My Computer*

  • File Name of Image Displayed in PSE 8 does not match File Path Name in Windows 7

    I recently got a new computer  .I upgraded on my Windows XP computer from PSE 5.0 to PSE 8.0.  I then moved my files to the new computer running Windows 7 following the instructions I received on an earlier post.  I copied the catalog folder and the picture folders on the C drive from the old to the new computer (catalog folder to location specified in System Info;  images to My Pictures).   Everything appears to have worked beautifully without having to go through a big Reconnect struggle.  The organzer appears to have found all of the images and I can bring them up in Editor as well.  However, when I look at the properties of a given image the full file name displayed is what it was on XP, i.e., C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Pictures\<folder name>\<file name> rather than the path as it is in Windows 7, i.e., C:\Users\<user name>\My Pictures\<folder name>\<file name>.  I am new to Windows 7 so maybe I am missing something unique to Windows 7 but I would appreciate any information.

    You're observing the special folder aliases that Vista and Windows 7 create to preserve backward compatibility (Microsoft keeps changing how and where users' documents are stored).   On Windows 7:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Pictures
    is a special kind of alias to the folder:
    C:\Users\<user name>\Pictures
    (And C:\Users<user name>\My Pictures is yet another kind of Windows 7 special alias, a "library", that includes the folder C:\Users<user name>\Pictures.)
    Whenever an application like PSE refers to the old location, C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Pictures, Windows automatically translates that under the covers to C:\Users\<user name>\Pictures.   But Windows Explorer is configured to prevent you from accessing C:\Documents and Settings\ interactively -- only programs like PSE are able to do that.  Microsoft wants users of Windows Explorer to always use the "new" name,  C:\Users\<user name>\Pictures.
    In your case, your catalog contained the old XP folder paths, and Windows is automatically translating them on the fly to the new paths, unbeknownst to PSE.
    Like most such backward-compatibility hacks, this does not work perfectly.  PSE thinks that the old path and the new path refer to two completely different folders.  I'm not positive, but I think there are opportunities for PSE to get confused by that.   When you import new photos, they will get recorded in the catalog under the new folder paths.
    In my previous recommendation for how to move to the new computer, I had assumed that you would most likely be changing user names and photo locations, and thus you would be forced to do a Reconnect, and you wouldn't have encountered this.  If I had thought you weren't going to need a Reconnect, I would have recommended not using this method but rather using Backup/Restore (my first recommended method)  -- my bad.
    It may well be that your current catalog and PSE will work well enough.   But there is at least a small risk that down the road PSE will get confused by the old and new folder names.  The easiest way to avoid that risk would be to start over and use the Backup/Restore method for moving your catalog, whch is more effort on your part.  But because I don't fully understand the risk, I can't tell you whether you should be worried about it.   Definitely do some testing: editing, importing and editing new photos, use Display > Folder Location view, try renaming and moving old photos to new folders, try the Photo Downloader, etc.

  • ODT file images not displaying correctly in Word 2013

    When I open an ODT file in Word 2013, the images appear "grayed out". I must click on each to reset them to automatic color.  This only happens in mine, when I send the file to others, the images display fine. I am thinking it is some sort
    of setting in word, but can't figure out what.

    Does this happen to all ODT files or a certain one?
    As an initial troubleshooting step, please try to open Word in safe mode and try again:
    Type winword.exe /safe in Run
    dialog (Press Windows key + R)and hit Enter, to start Word in safe mode.
    Office Safe Mode will help to determine if there is any add-ins caused the issue.

  • Using IMAQ Image Display control vs IMAQ WindDraw for large image files

    Hello All;
    I am designing an application that is currently using IMAQ Image Display control to view large images (5K x 3K and larger).  My problem is that these images take 10-20 seconds to load and display, whereas if I use IMAQ WindDraw to display my image in a separate window, it only takes a couple of seconds.  My application is designed such that I am making use of the Subpanels in LabVIEW 8.0, and to make it pleasant for the user, the interface is such that my line profile, histograph and image viewer displays are contained within the same GUI (panel).
    I read the National Instruments application note regarding displaying of large images, and it did not seem to make a difference.  For example, I switched the 'modern' IMAQ Image Display control with the classic Image Display control, since the 'classic' does not contain any of the 3D rendering tools which might slow the process down.
    Why is there such a huge difference in loading times if I am trying to do exactly the same thing with both methods?  How can I bring the IMAQ Image Display control up to the same speed as the IMAQ WindDraw tool?
    I am currently using LabVIEW 8.0 with the latest IMAQ/NI Vision package from NI (IMAQ v7.1?).  Thanks.

    Use a property node and select 16 bit image mapping. You can create a control for this or whatever you need. If you select the individual elements, you can get enumerated controls.

  • Is this a bug of Outlook 2007 about images displaying in signature?

    I've done many tests and researched on website or MS KB. But still got no solution.
    My issue is:
    I make a signature with images linking from website which can be easily accessed.
    I setup this signature in Outlook 2007, when I compose a new mail, and choose the signature I set. It won't show the images with a high percentage rate, meanwhile, I try to get into "Signature"-"Signature...", 
    Outlook2007 gets stuck, then you can not close Outlook or open Internet Explorer unless you kill the process of OUTLOOK.exe.
    1. Test are done under a clean XP system and Office 2007 standard fresh installed. Also there are some other staffs who help me test the signature that report the same issue on Office 2007.
    2. Images are rendered in 96dpi. They are all in very small size stored on website, can be easily accessed without network connctivity problem.
    3. The signature is made by simple HTML language not by Outlook signature setup wizard. but in this case,  you can ignore which method I use to create the signature. The images in signature can be displayed well in Outlook 2003 &
    2010. Also I have tried insert images using "link to file" in Outlook signature setup wizard, got same issue.
    4. Don't suggest me to store the images locally. These images should be updated after a period. You can not ask the company staffs to update these images manually by themselves. and even if the images are stored locally, the images won't be shown
    in Outlook 2007 with a high percentage rate.
    5. I've tried setup signature with or without an account profile, got same issue.
    6. I 've tried without an accout profile, just copy the signature file to Outlook signature folder, unplug the network cable, and "new mail" then load the signature, of course, the images won't be shown because network connection doesn't exist,
    and then when I try to get into "Signature"-"Signature...",  the Outlook interface also gets stuck. So I think Outlook 2007 may have some problem on detecting the network connectivity.
    7. It is not possible to upgrate the version of Office. Since Office 2007 isn't out of date and is powerful enough for us, no one want to pay more money just to avoid this issue.
    I don't know why I cannot upload a screenshot for troubleshooting. If needed. I can send a mail with screenshot attached.
    So far to now, I still get no solution, I think this is a bug of Outlook 2007, because the same signature, there is no problem on Outlook 2003 & 2010. Hope someone of MS staff can see this article and report to technical support center.
    I would appriciate anyone's kindly help but please consider that you understand what I am talking about. I don't want to waste time for each of us.

    How do you add the image into the message body when you send the message?
    Does it show correct through Web-based access?

  • Image display: instead of an image, there is a "picture placeholder" icon

    I'm afraid I need some assistance. As I've already indicated in a thread title, I have problems while trying to display an image stored within the database. I read zillion threads here on OTN, searched the Internet, but I can't make it work.     Tools I use are Oracle 10g XE database (10.2.0.1.0) and Application Express (3.2.1.00.10).
    There's a table that contains information about certain products (such as printer toners, cartridges, CD media etc.). This is its description:

In order to support table record updating, I created a Process (Process point: On submit - after computations and validations).

    Procedure created.As suggested in a few OTN threads, I did this too (although I don't quite understand WHY, as I created the procedure in a schema I use in Apex; there are no other users involved). Anyway: I thought that it won't do any harm (but it didn't do any good either).

    I can't figure out what I did wrong. It should work, but it doesn't. Could someone, please, point me to the right direction?

  • Why won't raw images display as thumbnails in organiser?

    My raw images display only as the 'egg timer' icons in Organiser.  I can open them individually, edit and save as jpeg but cannot view them on the grid either before or after editing. This has only just started happening - two weeks ago all was well. It's such a nuisance not being able to scroll down my images in order to decide which ones to edit.
    Here's what I've tried:
    Uninstalled Elements 12 and reinstalled
    Checked for updates (all up to date)
    Updated thumbnails
    Usually what happens after my images are imported is that I see these icons and they gradually open to reveal my raw images.  Now they just stay with the timer icon and nothing more happens.
    Anyone help me before I tear out any more hair?  Thank you!

    If you can use the 'update thumbnail' successfully on individual files and open those files in ACR correctly chances are that you are facing a computer power problem. Creating a thumbnail in the Organizer means opening the image to create a reduced version. For raw files, that means reading the raw file (32 GB each for my Fuji raws...), converting it using the last settings in the xmp sidecar files, then creating the reduced thumbnail. Several seconds, even with a decent  computer.
    To get an idea of your problem, it would be good to know the type and size of your raw files and your computer specs.
    Contrary to other viewing softwares which only show the embedded jpeg thumbnail in the raw file, the organizer shows a real preview.

  • Loading new xml data into a already xml populated image display

    Hi everybody,
    I have a question about loading new xml data into a already xml populated image gallery.
    So I have my gallery set up so it calls some xml when it first loads. What I would now like to do is load different sets of images via a different xml sheet via the click of a button.
    So for example the loaded gallery already has all thumbs loaded and user can click on them to view the full size image. So next instead of the user having to close this gallery to allow a new gallery to open with a different set of pictures I would just like to have a button. This button will unload the existing thumbs from the gallery and load in new ones from a different xml file.
    If anybody can help me with this it would be great as I am still on a steep learning curve with AS3.

  • Saved image displays differently outside Photoshop

    When I save an image I've been working on in Photoshop, then open the saved file outside Photoshop, the image looks quite different than it does inside Photoshop, much drabber and less saturated. I have both Photoshop and the display program set to sRGB.  I figure that I should have consistency within the monitor, whether it's calibrated or not.  I'm sure I'm missing something basic here.  I'd appreciate any help here, because my prints wind up drab, too.  Many thanks!

    Were you saving images without a color profile before, and some application(s) in your system were displaying them improperly?
    Problem is, in that case one wouldn't really expect to see the kind of difference you describe unless your document profile really wasn't sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
    Is it possible you're editing your images in the Adobe RGB 1998 color space?  That could happen if you're opening images through Camera Raw, as the color space it's set to deliver is configured separately (via the link at the bottom-center of the Camera Raw dialog) from the Photoshop defaults.
    By the way, if you don't already know, you can easily set the status block in the lower-left of the Photoshop window to show you the color space of your current document:

  • ICO file not displaying at run time?

    Hello Experts,
    I an using fusion 11.1.2.1 32 bit. I have Copied the Icons as well as GIF files in C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\forms\java folder.
    At button property i set Iconic to yes
    and file = addrow
    Icon not display at run time.
    but when i set file = abc.GIF
    image is displaying at run time.
    My doubt is that ICO file not displaying at run time while GIF file are displaying.
    Do i need to change configuration ?

    First Try this steps
    To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
    Double-click My Computer, and then click Options on the View menu.
    Verify that the Icon file type appears on the File Types tab. If the Icon file type does not appear in the Registered File Types box, skip to step 10.
    Click Icon in the Registered File Types box, and then click Edit.
    Verify that the following settings exist, and then click OK:
    The Description Of Type box contains Icon.
    If there is a Confirm Open After Download check box, it should be selected.
    If the settings do not appear exactly as listed in step 4, click Remove, click Yes, and then click OK. If the settings do appear as listed in step 4, skip to step 10.
    Click New Type.
    In the Description Of Type box, type Icon.
    In the Associated Extension box, type ICO.
    Click OK, and then click Close.
    Use Registry Editor to view theHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.icokey, and then verify that the default string contains the following value:icofileIf the .ico key does not exist, create it, and then insert the value listed above. If any other values exist in the .ico key, delete them.

    1. Create a “icons” folder and place all your gifs in there
    i.e. “c:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\java\<icons>”
    2. From within icons folder make a jar file of all the gif images:

    3. Copy this new jar into “c:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\java\”
    4. Edit/update formsweb.cfg file:

    At this point your icons should work normally, but if you get a security check of Java for gif files then proceed to the next step to fix this. TIP: May need to restart the weblogic/forms server for changes to take effect.
    6. Sign your jar file with oracles sign_webutil.bat sign-tool.

    Firstly, you need to edit the sign_webutil.bat as follows:

    Secondly, set the environment path and finally run the command:

    This will create your signed jar file. Once initialized from the web-app it should ask the user to “Trust” the certificate and never prompt again.

  • Javascript - added images display as grey boxes

    I am attempting to add an Image to an InDesign document via a javascript that I am executing via the RunScript() soap method of InDesign Cs4 server.  The script I am using to add an image is something similar to this:

    The script adds the image correctly, but when I pull up the document with InDesign, the Images are displayed as grey boxes.  I am able to fix this within InDesign designer by manually setting the "Display Performance" to "High Quality" through the menus, but I need to handle this via the script run on the server.  I attempted to update the script to the following:

    This script runs without problems within the CS4 ExtendScript Toolkit on my local pc.  However, when I run the script against the InDesign CS4 server, I get the following error:
    Error Number: 55
    Error String: Object does not support the property or method 'localDisplaySetting'
    Does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed?  My main goal is to have the image display correctly without the grey box.

    hello, I'm running into the same issue with image showing up as grey boxes. I'm updating documents via (JS) scripts by placing new images into rectangles. When I open up that document after the script saves it, all I see is a grey box until I change the Display Performance to Typical (or higher). In my scripts, I can change the localDisplaySettings to DisplaySettings.TYPICAL, but it only works locally, when I run this on the server it fails because it says DisplaySettings is undefined. I'm wondering if this is a server setting, and if so, how I might be able to change it?

  • Multiple image displays

    Hi,
    I plugged 2 USB3.0 cameras in LabVIEW, and displayed the images from both in the front panel seperately. One image display corresponds to one camera source. When I run the codes, the display windows are supposed to show separate image grabbed by the corresonding camera. However, the displays windows sometimes show the same image source from one camera and they are not stable. I guess the signals from both cameras are mixed sometimes. I have no idea how to solve this problem.Has anyone met with the same problem before?
    Also, I'd like to confirm my calcultion of bandwidth. I want to plug 6 USB3.0 cameras in total eventually. They will all be set the same with resolution 1024x1280, mono8. The bandwidth of USB3.0 is 625 MB/s. Thus, the calculatin of maximum frame rate for each camera the setup could handle should be:
    maximum frame rate = 625M / (1280 x 1024 x 6) = 79.4 fps.  Is this right?

  • Images display gibberish

    Hi support -
    I'm having issue with the way my Wordpress site is displaying images in Firefox.

    Clicking on the image displays a page full of gibberish. I did some research and I saw your article about properly configuring MIME types but I can't seem to get that to fix. I do have access to the htaccess file and added: AddType text/css .css line in, but that didn't seem to fix. Hoping you can help me out. Thank you!

    That image is send as text/plain as you can see in Tools > Page Info > General.
    So it is clearly a problem with the server configuration.
    It works this way:
