Multiple image displays

Hi,
I plugged 2 USB3.0 cameras in LabVIEW, and displayed the images from both in the front panel seperately. One image display corresponds to one camera source. When I run the codes, the display windows are supposed to show separate image grabbed by the corresonding camera. However, the displays windows sometimes show the same image source from one camera and they are not stable. I guess the signals from both cameras are mixed sometimes. I have no idea how to solve this problem.Has anyone met with the same problem before?
Also, I'd like to confirm my calcultion of bandwidth. I want to plug 6 USB3.0 cameras in total eventually. They will all be set the same with resolution 1024x1280, mono8. The bandwidth of USB3.0 is 625 MB/s. Thus, the calculatin of maximum frame rate for each camera the setup could handle should be:
maximum frame rate = 625M / (1280 x 1024 x 6) = 79.4 fps.  Is this right?
Thanks,
Olivia

  • Load and Display Multiple Images in a Web Dynpro Table

    I am new to Web Dynpro and I am wondering if anyone can help me with an application that I am currently developing. I have a particular requirement to store images in a database table (not MIME repository) and then display them in a WD table element. An image can be of JPEG, PNG or TIFF format and is associated with an employee record.
    I want to create a view in my application that displays multiple images in a table, one image per row. I want to do this using Web Dynpro for ABAP, not Java. I have looked into pretty much all examples available for Web Dynpro and came to the conclusion that Components such as WDR_TEST_EVENTS and WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS do not have any examples of images being stored in a database table and viewed in/from a Web Dynpro table element. Programs such as RSDEMO_PICTURE_CONTROL, DEMO_PICTURE_CONTROL and SAP_PICTURE_DEMO do not show this either.
    The images to be displayed in the Dynpro table are to come from a z-type table, stored in a column of data type XSTRING (RAW STRING). So I would also like to know how to upload these images into this z-type table using ABAP code (not Java).
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.
    Kenn

    Hi,
    May be this is the is the correct place to post your query.

  • LR 2.2 on OS X 10.5.6 - Cannot reject multiple images on 2nd display Grid

    Hi there,
    For some reason, if I select multiple images on Grid View on my 2nd display and click 'X' to apply the Reject Flag, only the first image selected will get the X Flag. However, if I do the same exact with the Grid on my primary display, all images selected will get the X Flag.
    Any ideas on what could be causing this? Is this a feature that I am missing an understanding of?
    TIA!
    Brian

    Hmmmm... thanks for the confirmation. It just seems so odd that Adobe would feel the need to 'classify' the 2nd display as a second-class citizen. Would it really be that much more resource-intensive to allow me to take action on multiple photos on the 2nd display?
    Oh well, perhaps in a future build.

  • Problem in Loading Multiple image in Single Sprite/MovieClip

    Hi All,
    I am having a killing problem in loading multiple images in single movie clip/sprite using a separate class.
    Here is the ImageLoader.as class
    package com.project.utils{
        import com.project.*;
        import com.project.utils.*;
        import flash.events.EventDispatcher;
        import flash.display.MovieClip;
        import flash.events.Event;
        import flash.events.ProgressEvent;
        import flash.display.Loader;
        import flash.events.IOErrorEvent;
        import flash.net.URLLoader;
        import flash.events.MouseEvent;
        import flash.net.URLRequest;
        import flash.display.Bitmap;
        public class ImageLoader extends EventDispatcher {
            public var imgloader:Loader;
            public var imgMc:MovieClip;
            public var imgObject:Object;
            public var loaded:Number;
            public function ImageLoader():void {
                imgMc = new MovieClip();
                imgObject = new Object();
                imgloader = new Loader();
            public function loadImage(imgHolder:MovieClip, imgObj:Object):void {
                imgMc = new MovieClip();
                imgObject = new Object();
                imgloader = new Loader();
                imgMc = imgHolder;
                imgObject = imgObj;
                imgloader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,onImgLoad);
                imgloader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS,onImgLoadProgress);
                imgloader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR,onImageLoadFailed);
                imgloader.load(new URLRequest(imgObj.FilePath));
            private function onImgLoad(Evt:Event):void {
                var image:Bitmap = Bitmap(Evt.target.content);
                try {
                    imgMc.removeChildAt(0);
                } catch (error:Error) {
                imgMc.addChild(image);
                try {
                    if (imgObject.URL != undefined) {
                        imgMc.buttonMode = true;
                        imgMc.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onImageClicked);
                        imgMc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onImageClicked);
                } catch (err:Error) {
                dispatchEvent(new CustomEvent("CustomEvent.ON_IMGE_LOAD"));
            private function onImageClicked(evt:MouseEvent):void {
                trace("Image Attrs:"+imgObject.URL +" Target "+imgObject.Target);
            private function onImgLoadProgress(Evt:ProgressEvent):void {
                if (Evt.bytesLoaded>0) {
                    loaded = Math.floor((Evt.bytesLoaded*100)/Evt.bytesTotal);
                    dispatchEvent(new CustomEvent("CustomEvent.ON_IMGE_LOAD_PROC",loaded));
            private function onImageLoadFailed(Evt:IOErrorEvent):void {
                trace("Image Loading Failed");
                dispatchEvent(new CustomEvent("CustomEvent.ON_IMGE_LOAD_FAIL"));
    Here I am loading some images using the above class in a for loop, like
                for (var i=0; i < 3; i++) {
                    //imgLoader=new ImageLoader;
                    imgLoader.addEventListener("CustomEvent.ON_IMGE_LOAD",onImageLoad);
                    var target:MovieClip=videolist_mc["list" + mcCount + "_mc"];
                    target.list_mc.visible=false;
                    var imgObj:Object=new Object;
                    imgObj.FilePath=list[i].Thumbnail;
                    imgObj.Url=list[i].Url;
                    imgObj.Target=list[i].Target;
                    target.list_mc.urlObj=new Object  ;
                    target.list_mc.urlObj=imgObj;
                    imgLoader.loadImage(target.list_mc.imgholder_mc,imgObj);
                    target.list_mc.lable_txt.htmlText="<b>" + list[i].Label + "</b>";
                    target.list_mc.imgholder_mc.buttonMode=true;
                    target.list_mc.imgholder_mc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,onItemPressed);
                    mcCount++;
    In this case, the ImageLoader.as works only on the last movie clip from the for loop. For example, if i am trying to load three image in three movie clips namely img_mc1,img_mc2 and img_mc3 using the for loop and ImageLoader.as, I am getting the image loaded in the third movie clip only img_mc.
    See at the same time, If i uncomment onething in the for loop that is
    //imgLoader=new ImageLoader;
    its working like a charm. But I know creating class objects in a for loop is not a good idea and also its causes some other problems in my application.
    So, help to get rid out of this problem.
    Thanks

  • Creating a simple Template for multiple images

    Hello,
    I work for an online company, and we deal with displaying multiple images on our site.  I've been just cropping sets and just droping them in a file and organizing them that way, but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this in Photoshop with Templates maybe? but it needs to be easier and faster than the process I'm using now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    When I read what you have written "we deal with displaying multiple images on our site.  I've been just cropping sets and just droping them in a file and organizing them that way, but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this in Photoshop with Templates maybe?" I don't comprehend what your doing now.   Photoshop is not a file editor however it can create files that have more then one image. Perhaps you could describe what you want to do.  What is a set, what is in the set, how many images in a set is that number always the same how do you want to crop do you have some layout in mind some size requirement?

  • Show file size in Cell Extras? (Either Compact or Expanded, or anywhere in Grid for multiple images simultaneously)

    I've searched and seen several suggestions saying to change Metadata to Exif & IPTC to see the file size, but that's for only one image at a time. Under Cell Extras (both Compact and Expanded) I see options for Megapixeps, Cropped Dimensions, File Name, Extention, and a bunch of other options, but no file size. I suspect this is because file size isn't a metadata field and simply a file attribute (that may be incorrect, but regardless...) is there really no way to have file size visible in the thumbnail cells in Grid view in the Library? I'm trying to reduce redundancy and viewing file size of multiple images at a glance based on my Library Filter criteria would be a huge help. Thanks to anyone who can help sort me out!

    Sure. I have a catalog with 22,000 images indiscriminately imported from hundreds of folders and multiple drives from this year alone (partially lost a RAID array to a corrupt index and recovered a dump of the files so I'm terribly disorganized juggling emergency redundancy backups wherever I had 50 gigs here, 100 gigs there, and working to clean up and organize my photos one year at a time ), including raw, jpg, websized jpg, png, tiff and psd (flattened and with layers/adjustments) and am now trying to identify my keepers and delete unnecessary files. I have 22 terabytes of personal files and photography spread chaotically and while I now have proper discipline when saving variants, I didn't always and want to remove unneeded, rejected, and duplicate images. I don't expect to be caught up for months or longer depending on my free time and sanity. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as keep the raw delete the rest. Sometimes I have multiple PSD documents with different version names and edits, sometimes with multiple layers, and I have to use a variety of information to identify which one is indeed the correct one to keep...or open them all/both.
    Often, file size can be an indicator for me and aids in making the decision more quickly. For instance between 2 psd files with the same Megapixles I'm often able to identify the flattened version vs the layers intact version by file size if it wasn't properly noted in the filename, which unfortunately due to a combination of bad or evolving practices and being tired or rushed happens more often than I'd like to admit. One I just came across that brought me here searching was 3 similarly named and appearing PSD files of a panorama, all with the same MP/dimensions. One was flattened, one was the original stitch, and one was flattened with a few masks, adjustments, and an extra layer, and being the one I'd want to keep. Filesize helped me quickly identify which was which. Also sometimes dimensions are misleading, like when a panorama is first created and uncropped, its dimensions are larger, but a tighter cropped image with multiple layers and a larger file size indicates to me that it is newer and more finished, even though smaller dimensions typically indicates a crop and may not be a 'master' copy. Additionally, 2 images with different names but the exact same file size are very likely duplicates (at least in my workflow) but 2 similarly looking images with the same dimensions could be retouched/not, sharpened/not, have noise reduction/not, and I'd have to view them in detail to determine if they were in fact identical. For my purposes (since these are my personal fine art images & I have the raw files incase I occasionally mess up) I'm often willing to trade an educated guess for my time. Seeing identical file sizes on 2 apparently similar images is good enough for me to delete one.
    I can select them individually and check...it's not a horrific problem. But it would save me time so I was hoping I had simply missed how to view that. My reasoning is 'why not' have the option available with all the others? Me personally, I don't care about megapixels when I already have the dimensions, that's just redundant and honestly much less helpful than LxW. File size would be an additional tool I would use, though. There are other examples but the main thing is that I do spend time checking filesize, and specifically when comparing multiple images, so having it displayed in the cell would be a time saver for me.

  • Convert Multiple Images to PDF using iTextSharp?

    Hello friends, in my small project i have a button for converting more than one image file to pdf, i made some search in google and found some articles about that i found one that helps me to do that but convert only two images to pdf, and i want to make
    it unspecified number of image to pdf
     can anyone help me please? how to do that? or give me an article about that
    this is my code:
    private void button2_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
    string sMergedFiles = @"C:\PDFTest\PdfReport.PDF";\\pdf file path
    string sTiffFiles = "C:\\PDFTest\\TiffFiles\\";\\Tiff image files path
    Document document = new Document(PageSize.A4, 50, 50, 50, 50);
    PdfWriter writer = PdfWriter.GetInstance(document, new FileStream(sMergedFiles, FileMode.CreateNew));
    document.Open();
    //here you can loop thru and call AddTiff2Pdf for multiple files
    string tiffFileName = Path.Combine(sTiffFiles, "asdf.tif");\\first tiff image
    AddTiff2Pdf(tiffFileName, ref writer, ref document);
    tiffFileName = Path.Combine(sTiffFiles, "1234.tif");\\second tiff image
    AddTiff2Pdf(tiffFileName, ref writer, ref document);
    document.Close();
    private void AddTiff2Pdf(string tiffFileName, ref PdfWriter writer, ref Document document)
    Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(tiffFileName);
    int numberOfPages = bitmap.GetFrameCount(System.Drawing.Imaging.FrameDimension.Page);
    PdfContentByte cb = writer.DirectContent;
    for (int page = 0; page < numberOfPages; page++)
    bitmap.SelectActiveFrame(System.Drawing.Imaging.FrameDimension.Page, page);
    System.IO.MemoryStream stream = new System.IO.MemoryStream();
    bitmap.Save(stream, System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Png);
    iTextSharp.text.Image img = iTextSharp.text.Image.GetInstance(stream.ToArray());
    stream.Close();
    img.ScalePercent(72f / bitmap.HorizontalResolution * 100);
    img.SetAbsolutePosition(0, 0);
    cb.AddImage(img);
    document.NewPage();

    Why only two images allowed, cause failure with third ?Oh I used another way before, a third party tool, download and add reference to project then use the following code.There is
    no limitation of image amount. Ref this
    article.
    // Create a pdf document with a section and page added.
    PdfDocument doc = new PdfDocument();
    PdfSection section = doc.Sections.Add();
    PdfPageBase page = doc.Pages.Add();
    //Load a tiff image from system
    PdfImage image = PdfImage.FromFile(@"D:\images\bear.tif");
    //Set image display location and size in PDF
    float widthFitRate = image.PhysicalDimension.Width / page.Canvas.ClientSize.Width;
    float heightFitRate = image.PhysicalDimension.Height / page.Canvas.ClientSize.Height;
    float fitRate = Math.Max(widthFitRate, heightFitRate);
    float fitWidth = image.PhysicalDimension.Width / fitRate;
    float fitHeight = image.PhysicalDimension.Height / fitRate;
    page.Canvas.DrawImage(image, 30, 30, fitWidth, fitHeight);
    //save and launch the file
    doc.SaveToFile("image to pdf.pdf");
    doc.Close();
    System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("image to pdf.pdf");

  • Lightbox with multiple images attached to one thumbnail?

    Is it possible to have one thumbnail allow you to scroll through multiple images without having to click on another thumbnail?
    For example,  lets say that I have three projects with 10 images per project.  I only want to have three thumbnails which will allow the user to see each project by clicking on it's "master" thumbnail.
    Thanks.

    If your intent is to have a single thumbnail (image) that your visitors click and it launches a Lightroom with Slideshow, you can try the following.
    The gist :
    Insert Slideshow Widget into target of Composition Widget
    The details :
    01. Drag & drop the Lightroom Display Composition Widget onto your design surface.
    02. Drag & drop a Slideshow Widget into (this is the important bit) the Target of the Lightroom Display Composition Widget
    The Target is the large area of the Composition Widget
    The Target is what appears as a light box when you click on the Trigger (the smaller boxes)
    03. Add your thumbnail image to the Trigger of the Lightroom Display Composition Widget (the smaller boxes)
    Style it :
    You're now ready, style your widgets and replace the images of the Slideshow Widget and you'll have the effect you're looking for.
    Very crude example :

  • If I select multiple images to apply a change to all Aperture it does so only with the first selected. Why?

    If I select multiple images to apply a change to all openings it does so only with the first selected. Why?

    You probably have Primary Selection only on.
    Aperture identifies the images you’ve selected by displaying them with a white border. When you select a group of images, the actively selected image, called the primary selection, appears with a thick white border and the rest of the selected images appear with thin white borders.
    Primary Only button: Click this button to make changes to the primary image selection only.

  • Multiple images in pscs5 when importing from bridge

    Hi Guys
    Hope someone can throw some light on my problem?
    When I bring an image from bridge into photoshop CS5 the image sometimes (more than I would like) breaks up into multiple images in the same window. (see attached example). It was suggested that my video driver may need updating but on checking I have the latest drivers!
    This problem has only been happening for about a month and  everthing was working fine before that. Im running win7pro 64 bit and am running photoshop from my ssd drive. The display driver is a Nvidia Geforce 240 which again has been fine previously. Would it be worth unistalling/reinstalling the program, just a thought!
    Any help from you guys would be more than welcome.
    Thanks trev

    Chris and Noel
    Thank you both for your advice. Chris I tried the update driver from Nvidias web site and it also said that my driver was uptodate 'do you want install anyway' which i did! It made a slight difference but still the problem showed up, so I disabled the Open gl drawing box in preferences menu and then reset it changing the advanced setting to normal in the advanced menu. This seemed (not holding my breath) to have done the trick! and Noel I saw the option for what you have said but I didnt have the confidence to go manual, that'll be my plan B.
    Thanks again guys, I'll be back for more advice

  • Restrict image pixel size in multiple image upload

    Re: Multiple Image Upload behaviour.
    One of the only issues I have with this extension is if users try to upload an image within the limits I set (of 250Kb) but with a high pixel count.
    For example, a jpg of 800 x 600 at 200Kb causes no problem, but a one of 2000 pixels at 150Kb probably will.
    I understand that there is probably more server load to resize a large pixel image, so is there a way to check the pixel size of images to be uploaded as well as the file size and reject it if it is too large?

    But what you could do, is retrieving the php.ini´s "post_max_size" value and display a note to your site visitors:
    <br />
    <br />
    <b>1.</b> put this into the doc´s head:
    <br />
    <br /><?php<br />$replace_max_size_MB = str_replace("M"," MB",ini_get('post_max_size'));<br />?>
    <br />
    <br />
    <b>2.</b> the related message:
    <br />
    <br />Pics larger than <?php echo $replace_max_size_MB; ?> will be rejected by the server
    <br />

  • Function for uploading  multiple images, say 5000 , of any type?

    Hi,
    I want to upload multiple images which are stored anywhere, be it a local system or a server, to the SAP database just by clicking a single button. The method should be able to pick all the images and check their file types and upload it.
    My concerns are that:
    1. How to specify the path where the images are stored?
    2. How to check the extension of the different files. it is possible that the folder may contain some other file types? So how to distinguish between them?
    3. How to deal when the folders may contain some subfolders?
    4. How to display the uploaded images back to the user?
    Regards
    Amit Kumar Singh

    I would guess its because all of the file fields all have the
    same name. Try naming them dynamically: micro1, micro2, micro3,
    etc.
    A few minor comments about the code
    - Afaik, setting the VALUE has no effect for input fields
    when type="file"
    - FILE is deprecated. Use CFFILE.ServerFile instead
    - You don't need # signs here <cfset numberoffields =
    #cookie.micro#>

  • Downloading Multiple Images

    Hi all,
                 I am using NWDS 7.0. I have an requirement to download multiple image files.
    Images can be viewed by clicking the links provided in the tablecolumn. Images(JPG) are in mime folder. if i use the Fiel Download UI Element, it is openning multiple windows for downloading multiple images.
    But i need in such a way that if i click the check boxes in the table the corresponding images has to be downloaded in my local system in the action of button functionality under the table. How to do that.
    Please bring me an solution it would be helpful for me.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Malar

    Hi Thenmalar
    Check these thread

    This thread(3) will help u to understand of downloading multiple item.
    Now for runtime selection and display is easy ,Just on click on check box internally we have to pass the id
    (name of the image )through context like
    if(checkbox 1)
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setImage("abc.gif");
    if()...

  • Writing multiple images to one file using ImageIO

    I am having trouble saving and reading multiple images from to/from one file. Here is the best i can come up with:
    //this is utilizing an ObjectOutputStream because i need to also save some objects to the file
    ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(new FileOutputStream("C:\\images.dat"));
    oos.writeInt(ImageTable.size());
    for(int k = 0; k  < ImageTable.size(); k++)
        ImageIO.write((BufferedImage)ImageTable.get(k), "png", oos);
        oos.flush();
    //////////////////////////read function/////////////////////////
    ObjectInputStream ois = new ObjectInputStream(new FileInputStream("C:\\images.dat"));
    int size = ois.readInt();
    for(int k = 0; k < size; k++)
        ImageTable.add(ImageIO.read(ois));
    }What it seems to do is read the first image and then place the marker at the end of the file so each consecutive calls to reading the file end up in either null, -1, or an EOF exception (bleh). Does anyone know how i can do this properly?
    The code does run and saves something, although it is hard to tell exactly what it is saving since it is all in png format, it also loads the first image properly.

    Is it possible to pack the different images in one big image?Conversely, some image formats let you store multiple images in a single image file.
    Here's a demo. My results are that I don't have a gif writer, tiff can write sequences (this
    is a well-known tiff property), I can trick (?) jpeg into stroring multiple images and I
    can't get png to work: three images go in, one comes out.
