Microphone FP recording resets to Microphone!!

Ever since I've had my Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium Fatalty Professional Series card, it automatically resets what channel I record from.
I always have to go into the console and change it back to Microphone FP, since my headphones are plugged into the front port. I'm not sure why it resets itself but I'll get on my pc and try talking in a game and it doesn't work and I will instantly know what the deal is. Its just really getting annoying.
Any ideas on how to keep it from auto changing itself?

Would it not be fine if you ensure that all your commit actions are coded as,
Do_Key ('COMMIT_FORM') correction: In regards to u3's response
You would also have to override relevant key trigger behavior to check for form changes.
KEY-ENTQUERY, KEY-EXECQUERY, ....
If your form is a master detail form, On-Clear-Details (This is a tricky one to maintain :-))

Create a running total to get Maximum latest purchase date
(Field to summarize is latest purchase date, Type of summary is maximum, evaluate every record, reset on change of group (Invoice number)
in your details section, go to section expert, select the X/2 next to the supress and put in this formula
{Latest PurchaseDate}< {#MaxLatestPurchaseDate}
The report will supress all the latest purchase dates that are less than the {#MaxLatestPurchaseDate}

Get value based on last date

I have a report that takes 2 date parameters ("Start Date" and "End Date"). Get fields back based on that criteria....I want to create a formula field that shows me the "Amount" field data that is equal to the "End Date".
How can I do that?

You can take a running total of the date as
Running total name : datecount
Summary Field to Summarize as : yourdatefield
Type of summary : Nth largest
N is : 1
Evaluate
For Each Record
Reset
Never
Now Create a Formula for ur fileld as
if {Command.Yourdate} = {#datecount} then {Command.fieldname}

Ipod mic not working

My Ipod 5th Gen mic not working

- Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens(if has back camera). For the 16 GB one without the back camera the mic hole is on the top edge near the center.
- Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle with changes in noise level trying to be recorded
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Pointvalue is string, not integer. how to sum pointvalue, if it is string?
Ok use the same Total Count method you are using, however like this
Name: PointValue
Summary Field: Pointvalue field
Summary Type: Count
Evalution: Each Record
Reset: Group by, Group name
Then place it into the report.
How to use data parameters in report record selection formula?
Ok create two date parameters, static.
One Start Date, Field type (your database field). Value=Date or Datetime (you choose depending on database field type).
Second End Date, Field type (your database field). Value = Date or Datetime (you choose)
Then Click on Report ->Selection Formula-->Record
Type
{database field} >= {?StartDate} and
{database field}<= {?EndDate}
Place both of them into the report header.
Run the report and you will be asked for the dates, once inserted your report will be filtered by date range you entered.

Itunes could not sync contacts to the iphone

I have just moved my iPhone 3G to a new notebook Windows 7 Outlook 2010. Can't synch my contacts through iTunes from Outlook (8149 of them), receive error = itunes could not sync contacts to the iphone because an error occurred remapping record identifiers. Everything else syncs fine. All used to sync under XP Pro Outlook 2003. I see many posts and have tried almost all of the solutions offered. Apple please help us get back to being productive, not troubleshooting our devices. Any advice from others is MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The answer is, either you are not telling us the whole story, or something else has changed. Perhaps your iPad is jealous of your iPod and is secretly forcing your iPod to reset it self. And if you believe that, I have this bridge for sale....

Zen V Plus stuck in microphone/recording mode HE

HiMy brand new Zen V Plus is stuck in microphone/recording mode. I've tried holding the back button (which is what you're stupposed to do for more options) but then it just starts recording. AFter I end the recording, I'm back in microphone mode again and can't get out. I've already tried turning on/off and resetting - nothing hel

I'm also having this problem and would have tremendous appreciation for anyone who could offer a solution. My Zen V Plus worked well for about three months before this problem arose, and I really enjoyed having it, so it's very dissapointing to me that it's not working anymore.
The behavior: as soon as the player is turned on, it goes into locked mode, regardless of the position of the lock toggle switch. If I toggle the lock switch, it either wakes up and then immediately goes back into locked mode or simply doesn't respond. If I'm lucky, I can get it to actually unlock by toggling the switch many times in a row, but then it will return to locked mode after a few seconds.
A few more details: I have tried doing a hard reset. I am not having any trouble syncing the player to my computer. Also, this problem creeped up slowly: it started just happening once in a while, but now it happens every time I use the player.

I have voxer, and my phone keeps saying when I am trying to hold and speak, that voxer cannot record audio without a microphone, please connect a headset and try again.

I have downloaded voxer on my phone, it was working yesterday and today, I put my phone on my docking station and used voxer a few times while it was on there. When I took it off and tried to send a new message my phone keeps saying when I am trying to record a new message, Voxer can't record audio with out a microphone, please connect a headset and try again?

Try resetting your phone by pressing and holding the Home button and the power button unti the silver apple appears. If that doesn't work, contact the developer of the app.

Try this:
1. Reset the iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons and releasing them, when the Apple logo appears on the display. Now test again.
2. If the issue persists: Restore the iPhone without any of your own content, using this description from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
3. If the issue persists, Your iPhone need repair.

Ipod nano 6th: no voice recorder despite headphones with microphone

Hi there!
I have got an ipod nano 6th that is working ok, but when I use my headset with microphone, the voice recorder app still does not show up. It can't be the headphones as 1) I have tried several ones with microphones on the nano and none makes the app appear, 2) the very same headphones manage to trigger appearence of voice recorder in other ipods. So it must me my ipod nano. Any ideas, suggestions, experiences? BTW: it used to work in the past on this nano...so no idea why it stopped.

I would be concerned too if the Voice Memos app stopped appearing on my iPod nano. I found some steps I recommend to troubleshoot an issue like this.
First, I recommend verifying that the Voice Memos icon is set to be visible on your iPod nano. If you go to Settings>General>Home Screen, make sure you see the switch set to On next to Voice Memos. You can find more information about this on page 15 in the iPod nano (6th generation) User Guide.
If you are still not able to see the Voice Memo icon after verifying that, I recommend resetting your iPod nano (from page 52 of the iPod nano User Guide):
Reset iPod nano:
First, make sure iPod nano is charged. Then press the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button for 6 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
The final step would be to restore your iPod nano if Voice Memos is still not appearing. You can find steps to do this on page 56 of the User Guide.

Microphone doesn't work while recording video

Hi everyone. I have an iPhone 5, and yesterday while trying to make a Vine while using the front-facing/FaceTime camera, I discovered that it didn't pick up any sound. However if I switch to the main camera (the HD one on the back), audio picks up and can be heard. This is a problem when I'm recording regular video too. Microphone works with the back camera, doesn't work with the front. Is there any way to fix this?

My iPhone 4S fails and works exactly the same every time:
FAILS, with the phone on speaker, or with the camera recording video (front or back) no sound is captured.
WORKS, in all other situations and apps that I could think of that use the microphone such as
google, Voice Memo, Dragon Dictation, Vonage Extensions, Skype, and taking the phone OFF speaker holding the phone to my ear. And also select microphone key to voice input instead of typing whenever the keyboard is there (Mail, Notes, Reminders, Safari, Maps, google Maps, ...)
Based on that, my guess is it's not hardware.
I'm using a 4S (64GB) from Verizon. In the nearby Verizon store I was told to back it up, do a master reset (which wipes out the phone), and restore it from the backup. I called Verizon support today before doing this and got exactly the same instructions. That's what I did today and NOTHING GOT BETTER.
After reading several discussion boards I made sure that I was not blocking any of the holes (trying to be thorough). I do not use a cover.
