That icon indicates your iPhone is rotation locked.
To remove it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. Tap the similar looking icon there to turn it off.

I tried to download itunes again from the web several times, I also reomved using the tools the smart screen filter, somehow eventually, after 3.5 hours of trying I managed to get the computer to talk to my phone, however it would not download some of my stuff because it says it was corrupt, I think this was my message and call history because I think that is all that was missing. Open the Sharing pane in System Preferences. If the Computer Name is not set, enter a name. You may first have to click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings.

Problem solved by doing the following:
Open PC/Mac and search for iTunes Library.
From the list, select the most recent version of iTunes Library. Save this to a folder.
Delete iTunes from your computer.
Install latest version of iTunes.
When I opened the new version of iTunes, everything was there as before.
I didn't need to import the saved version of iTunes Library. Maybe this happens automatically?????

Mac Book Pro - while browsing the internet, i hear ads but do not see them. an ad will start talking while i am watching netflix or anything else but there is no window to close. what is this and how do i get rid of it?

when i am browsing the internet, i use google chrome, several pop ups open in new windows and i have to constantly close them. some windows even open up and the sound of an iphone ringtone is playing and i have to click on leave this page in order to close the window. some windows open up and say my computer may be infected and suggest downloading "mac keeper" to keep my laptop safe, which i did not do. and the most annoying one is while i am watching netflix or any movie using the internet, i will hear ads playing while the movie is playing but when i go to look for an ad to close there is none. it will go on and off as the movie is playing. what should i do?!?!?!

This is at the top of my screen right underneath where you type in the url, and I don't know how to get rid of it. It only seems to be there when I am a certain website. Sometimes I see stuff like this when a page is loading but then it goes away.

I reset Firefox because for the last month or so it's been telling me that by doing so I can solve some problems with FF. I was able to disable the virtual keyboard in the plugins and the extensions. It didn't seem to get rid of the weird thing though.
