Mig WBench 10.1.0.4.0 Plugins not recognized

I've installed Migration Workbench 10.1.0.4.0. It simply will not recognize any plugins (MSAccess.jar, SQLServer2K.jar) that I've installed according to the release notes installation procedure. The installation procedures seem too easy. Can anyone tell me the undocumented tricks needed to get v10.1.0.4.0 to recognize plugins? Thanx!

1. When I ran omwb.bat initially and tried to configure both a Default and Oracle Repository, the configuration process stopped and told me that I didnt have any plugins installed. Now, if I try to run the application by clicking the OK button, I get this message:
"No plugins are installed. Please install the plugin for the database you want to migrate".
2. I'd paste the contents of my plugins directory, but this reply window doesn't accept pasted figures, so I'll describe the contents to you:
C:\Oracle\MigrationWorkbench\omwb\omwb\plugins\MSAccess.jar
C:\Oracle\MigrationWorkbench\omwb\omwb\plugins\SQLServer2K.jar
The .jar files are the extracted zip files that I downloaded from Oracle and named according to the Oracle site instructions.

The jre 1.3.1_04 Plugin is not recognized by browsers Internet Explorer 4.0 and Mozilla 0.7 on a Windows 98 first edition (Java thinks this is Windows 95 - ?) machine. Using the applet tag in my web page.
I've installed a jre exe file that I downloaded from another computer. But the Internet Explorer browser still uses the MSJVM to load the applet. I see in the registry that class id - 8AD... does refer to the jre 1.3.1_04.
I've not had trouble on Windows 2000. How do I enable the browser use the Sun Plugin, not MS JVM on Windows 98?
I've researched the "enable browser" section of the sun java site, and followed all of the instructions there.

I was just thinking about what a goon I am for cross posting. It is frowned upon in the forums (as it should be, and I should know better) and I was wondering if that is why no one would respond.
Yes I see that "Microsoft Internet Explorer" is listed in the Browser tab of the Plugin Control Panel. And I see that it is checked. I have restarted both the Browser and the computer several times since install but to no avail. I still see the MS JVM console in Internet Explorer.
Mozilla is not listed in the Plugin Control Panel, though I wouldn't expect it to be.
I remember reading somewhere that Windows 95 was not supported by the JRE but I think that referred to 1.4.2 specifically. I'm not sure if Sun stopped all support for Win 95. And though I have Windows 98 first edition, the effect of System.getProperty(os.name) shows "Windows 95". So this just may be lack of support for my OS system in general, but I don't know.

Cs6 raw plugin not recognizing lumix g5 raw files

I just installed cs6 on my computer which is not connected to the internet. The camera raw plugin does not recognize my lumix G5 camera raw files. I tried downloading and installing what i think is the most recent raw plugin, but it still does not recognize the file format. I have installed the dng converter which does recognize these files but that's a clunky work-around. Any ideas on what I should try next?orwhere i can find the most recent raw plugin for cs6?

Camera Raw Plugin "Not Recognized File Type"

I'm trying to install the camera raw update for the Canon Rebel XS in CS4.
I downloaded the newest RAW update, and the files still didn't work, and then when I went back and downloaded the camera-specific update, I get a plugin and photoshop says that "Photoshop does not recognize this type of file."
Any ideas?

You should always run the latest version of the Adobe Camera Raw for the particular version of Photoshop you are using.
In your case that means ACR 5.7, which is the last to run with CS4.
There's no such thing as a "camera specific version" of Camera Raw. Once a camera is supported by a specific version of ACR, it will always continue to be supported in all subsequent versions of ACR. You need to run the latest version because each update contains unannounced enhancements and bug fixes.
There will not be any further updates of ACR for CS4, so you must use ACR 5.7.
Note that ACR 6.1 will not work with CS4. The 6.x series of ACR requires CS5.
The error message you describe—"Photoshop does not recognize this type of file"—is returned by Photoshop when you attempt to open the plug-in by double-clicking on it instead of installing it. It is NOT meant to be opened, it's meant to be installed in a specific folder. Read the instructions. As a matter of fact, try updating through the auto updater in the Help menu of Photoshop or Bridge: Help > Updates…
Only if that doesn't work should you perform a manual installation of ACR according to the instructions.

Canon EOS Movie Plugin not recognized in Final Cut Pro 6

Hi Everyone...
I have a big problem installing canon eos movie plugin to Final Cut Pro 6. I have MAC OSX 10.5.8. After installing the software [EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro Ver1.2]. I open up Final Cut Pro and the final cut pro plugin is not shown in the Log and Transfer. [Image of problem down below]. I've tried reinstalling. But still no luck. Can someone tell me how to fix this??? - Christian Alfonso

There are four files to trash when trying to trash the preferences.
workstation>Mac HD>Users>Workstation>Library>Preferences>com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist

When you delete these files and restart FCP each of these will be rebuilt.

Using OSX 10.8 DW CS6 when I click "live" it says "flash plugin" "not found".

My default browser is Chrome. DW uses Chrome as the primary browser. (FFox is secondary.)
I do have Firefox and do not have Flash on it. I open Flash content Chrome, and I installed an HTML5 video viewer add-on in FFox (but haven't tried it yet).
I also have the Dreamweaver HTML5 Video View add-on, so why am I getting that message? Furthermore, the HTML code doesn't have any Flash objects. (The code is the source HTML from www.google.com page, without any changes.)
How do I make DW display the "Live" view of the code without giving me an error? (My end goal is to find out what google does when you enter something in the search box and hit the Enter key, actually, I'd like to see why the result of the search is displayed the way it is - default should be Web view, but Image view shows instead. I want Web to show!)

I'm sorry Phil, but you can't learn much from Google's source code because search engines are dynamically programed with behind-the-scenes code and content from databases that you can't see. You're just spinning your wheels here. If you want to learn how to make a search engine, I'd be happy to point you to some relevant PHP & MySql tutorials.

When DW starts acting weird, the first thing to try is Deleting Corrupted Cache in DW

I just installed the new version of final cut pro 10 and the canon plugin-E1 version 1.4 for the canon 5D mk III but after starting final cut pro I can not find the Log and transfer button., with the result I cannot import my files.
Is there a solution for this problem.

There is no L&T function in FCPX.
The import media dialogue window does what you want.
OS versions later than 10.6 should be fine importing Canon DSLRs.

Solman_setup - Managed System Configuration - ST-PI plugin not up-to-date

Hi,
I have a problem with configuring managed systems in Solution manager using txn solman_setup. When I select the managed system, enter all the data for the READ destination, TMW destination and Back destination and click "Maintain Connection" the system comes back with message:
ST-PI Plugin not up-to-date for managed system IVE, see note 1274287
When I check the OSS note and my managed system I see that my managed system is already on the right required level for SAP Solution Tools Plug-In which is: ST-PI 2008_1_700.
I did check also for service packs but these do not yet exist.
Can someone help me with this issue?

Issues with Visual Differnace in BI 4.0 w/ SP6, still unable to run compare between LCMBIAR. I am getting Plugin not found error. (VDS 00007).

After Installing Beta 2 Flash Plugin Not Working

After I installed the Beta 2 the projects won't run because
the correct Flash Version is not recognized. I get the error:

I even get this on the Flex Builder Start Page. I have
reinstalled the latest version several times but Flex projects and
Start Page still give me this message. I can view other Flash stuff

Hehe, no I was not. I was clicking on the "Get Flash" link
that was displayed in the Flex Builder Start Page which takes you
to the normal Flash download page. I don't always read instructions
before diving in so I wonder if and where where this is documented
- I will look and see. Please note that also during the Flex
Builder installation the installer told me it was installing the
plugins - obviously it did not. Thanks for your help.

NIK plugins not working with LR4.

Installed LR4 and then NIK software plugins not working. Get the error "bad argument#1 to 'lower' (string expected, got nil).
Downloaded the latest updates from NIK and have same error.

PSE13 Plugins not being recognized

I had PSE12 installed and working just fine with a number of plugins.
I uninstalled PSE12 then installed PSE13, which starts and seems to run just fine.
However, the plugins are not recognized by PSE13. I've copied the plugins folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\Plug-Ins to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13\Plug-Ins but PSE13 recognizes none of them.
I've tried restarting, adding the older plugin folder as an additional plugin folder, and nothing works....zero plugins are recognized by PSE13.
Any ideas?

Thank you so much for the insight. Photoshop Elements 13 does indeed automatically install as a 64bit app when installed on a 64bit OS. That means, as you noted, existing 32bit plugins are simply not recognized. I had to review each plugin to see if it installed with a 64bit version buried somewhere in the install folder. For these I just copied the 64bit version of the plugin (8bf file) to the plugins directory of PSE13. For others I had to reinstall and target the plugin install to the PSE13 plugins directory. This takes some time but does work. PSE13 is, for me anyway, noticeably snappier than PSE12, which I'm guessing can be attributed to the fact it is a 64bit app. Anyway, thanks again!

Quick look 3rd party plugins not working

The 3rd party plugins not working. Illustrator, Folder view, and quark are the three I use. They worked nice in 10.5.x Tried /Library/quicklook/ tried /user/library/quicklook/ even forced into system/library/quicklook/
Anybody else use these or any other 3rd party plugin?
