Mini player time counter - count from beginning of song

ITunes 11.3 lost part of the time counter on the mini player. It shows how much time is left in the song, but it doesn't show how much time into the song you are (time from the beginning). I use ITunes to choreograph my Indoor cycling classes and it's important for me to see how far into a song certain changes in the routine will occur. It's also important to have this feature in the mini player as opposed to having to switch to the full player. Please put this feature back!

Hello there,
You're in the forum for Acrobat.com. We can't help with questions about other products; I'm not sure what you're using for your project, but it's not likely you'll find the help you're looking for in this particular forum. Sorry!

  • Mini player icon-switch eliminated from iTunes

    In the (numerous) recent changes to iTunes desktop application, the icon to switch from/to the mini player has been eliminated. The ease of access to the master screen is now complicated by increasing the number of steps. This makes no sense. Focusing on an icon-switch for large or small art work is ridiculous. Get back to core simplicity of operation. Leave the design factor for those that want to twiddle with the view screen.

    The switch to activate the mini player will appear, when you hover the pointer at the upper left corner of the display.

  • Flash player timer counter

    I've downloaded numerous video files that are played in flash
    player as well as Quicktime and also mp3's that are played in
    Windows media. All these players display the length of the file
    playing and shows a counter that increments as the file is
    progressing. I have a need to create a file that streams video and
    when it shows the video I want the timer to be present. When I make
    these files available to my customers for their review, I want them
    to be able to read a time stamp if I need to make any changes. (ex:
    The customer says the segment beginning at 00.02.32 doesn't
    transition as smoothly as I would like). Since I don't know the
    proper name for this counter, it's hard to do a search on it.
    Timers and counters are such broad names that if you Google them
    you come up with everything but what I was looking for. Any ideas
    would be appreciated.

    Okay, was messing around and tried to run a flash program on Windows Media Player, which asked me to download the Flash Player. Since I already had the Firefox version, I downloaded the one for Internet Explorer.
    That... somehow... fixed the problems with Firefox...  I don't even know how or why, but it works... so I guess I accidentally solved my own question.

  • Join same table 3 times, count from two other tables

    Hi all!
    I have 3 tables
    RECORDS
    Id, Record_Id
    ITEMS
    Id, Record_Id
    ARTICLES
    Id, Record_Id
    I need to join RECORDS table 3 times R1,R2,R3 and get count of items R2 and R3 have and count articles that R3 has.
    R2 must have ITEMS and R3 must have items, R3 may have articles. R1 may have multiple children and R2 may have multiple children.
    Solution I'm using is following, but distinct makes it slow...
    select r1 as ParentRecordId,count(distinct i1) as Volumes,count(distinct i2) as Numbers, count(distinct a1) as Articles
    from
        select r1.id as r1,i1.id as i1,i2.id as i2,a.id as a1
        from records r1 inner join records r2 on r1.id=r2.record_id
        inner join records r3 on r2.id=r3.record_id
        inner join items i1 on r2.id=i1.record_id
        inner join items i2 on r3.id=i2.record_id
        left join articles a on a.record_id=r3.id
    ) as sel
    group by r1
    order by 1

    Please post DDL, so that people do not have to guess what the keys, constraints, Declarative Referential Integrity, data types, etc. in your schema are. Learn how to follow ISO-11179 data element naming conventions and formatting rules. Temporal data should
    use ISO-8601 formats. Code should be in Standard SQL as much as possible and not local dialect.
    This is minimal polite behavior on SQL forums. And thanks for no sample, too!
    >> I have 3 tables <<
    No, you have three identical decks of 1950's punch cards written in bad SQL.
    There is no such thing as a generic, universal “id” in RDBMS. It has to be the identifier of something particular.
    Magical columns appear in your query.
    There is no such concept as “child' and “parent” in RDBMS. That was network and hierarchical databases. We have referenced and referencing tables.
    We do not use column positions in the ORDER BY cause; any change in the query used in the cursor will screw up everything.
    Would you like to try again?

    On a typical system, by the way, you can usually turn one direct read for tablescan into 1MB, so your scan seems to have covered about 59 GB, which seems to be in the right sort of ballpark for 130M rows.
    we have another query and when we test the query execution using v$sql, is_bind_sensitive =N, how to make is_bind_sensitive=Y all the time.. There is a hint /*+ bind_aware */ - I'd have to check whether or not it's documented at present. It might help.
    I would be interested in hearing why you think the hint should be bind sensitive when the optimizer doesn't.

  • I always need to see the time counter on the music player, is that possible?

    As a spinning instructor I need to see the time counter on the music player all the time. Now it dissepears after a short time and I need to touch it to see it again and that is not good! I also wish that it was bigger numbers on the counter so I easy can see how long time it's lest on the songs.
    Ideas anyone?

    By default the screen display will dim in about 20 seconds to conserve the battery. And I cannot find any setting to inhibit this function. I am afraid there is no way you can keep the screen bright and enlarge the numbers on the timer.

  • Getting counts from detail tables

    I have multiple record bock that displaye a list of cell ids and their attributes; each record also displays record counts of its 3 detail tables.
    Originally, the POST-QUERY trigger select the counts (3 detail tables) as part of the data block for each record (or cell id). There are over 16K records, so each record query issues 3 selects. The whole query toke over a minute. I was asked to improve the retrieval time.
    At first I thought perhaps I could put the 3 counts in 3 separate data blocks and issue one query each in a "select cell_id, count(*). . . group by cell_id" but scrolling would not synchronize with the other blocks. So I dropped that idea.
    Next, I added a program unit from which the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger calls after execute_query. It issues "select cell_id, count(*). . . group by cell_id" (one for each detail table) and fills the count columns in the original data block. However I need to set the block property Query All Records to YES so that the cell ids and attributes are filled first. That means that before the form comes up it has to retrieve all records. That saves me about 10-15 seconds od retrieval time and I lose the ability to quickly bring up the form.
    Then I looked at using dfferent Query Data Source Types. I don't think I could do one query with counts of detail tables. Besides, some items (attrinutes) of the cell are upate-able.
    Any ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.

    Yes. I suggested adding columns to the master tables and introduce stored triggers.
    Since the change is not trivial, according to management, they put in on hold.I'm not sure if you misunderstood my suggestion or were responding to a different post. The query I wrote was for counting the detail records on the fly rather than populating new columns. If you include the counting in your main query then you will probably not have a much slower query than if you don't show any counts at all. Scrolling through the block will be no slower than if you had no counts, because no extra processing needs to be done. (You'll still have to fetch the detail blocks for each row, so moving to the last record will still be slow - that's a bad indicator of the performance of a query.)
    For example, fetching the objects for each user takes 5 seconds. When I include the number of tables, indexes and constraints for each user within the query the time only goes up to just under 9.

  • Java time counter ?

    Hi,
    Is there anyway to set time counter on java?
    My friend suggested that I can use util.date at the begining of my program and use it again at the end, after compare these two value, I can get the time period of the program.
    However, since util.date will read the time from OS, if user set the OS clock back or forward, I cannot get accurate time.
    My program is really sensitive with time (I have to get exactly time the user uses my program.)
    Can anyone please have any suggestion about it?
    Thank you

    > The external class Clock from the javabook package can assist you in your quest.
    The internal class Timer from the java.util (or javax.swing) package can assist with his quest and doesn't require external libraries. If the user is interested in external libraries, I'd recommend the Commons Lang StopWatch* class, which is part of the Commons Lang library, which contains a wealth of useful classes.

  • Link between Delivery schedule line counter from PO and the material docume

    Dear Gurus,
    I have one PO with single line item having delivery schedule -
    Material 1 -
    delivery schedule 01.01.2009     2000
                                                         01.03.2009    5000
    I have received quantity against this Po
    I want to know where I can find the link between Delivery schedule line counter from PO and the material document
    Best regards
    Sar

    There is no link from the MAterial document line item (Table Mseg) to the PO Schedule Line (EKET).
    If this is for Evaluating an on time delivery or GR, you may consider the following approach.
    PO details Po Date  QTY
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200
    SCH2  08Jun2009   100
    GR Details
    GR1   01Jun2009   180
    GR2   07Jun2009   110
    GR3  09Jun2009      10
    Calculate a *** total qty for the PO Line.
    PO details Po Date  CUMUL QTY
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200
    SCH2  08Jun2009   300
    Calculate a *** total qty for the ontime GR.
    PO details Po Date  CUMUL PO QTY  CUMUL GR on time
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200                180
    SCH2  08Jun2009   300                 290 (180+110)  the 3rd GR was too late
    Evaluate the PO SChedule Lines as follows:
    Po SCL qty + CUMUL GR QTY - CUMUL PO QTY = ADJ GR ON Time Qty
    SCH1 01Jun2009
    200 + 180 - 200 = 180 on time for 01Jun2009 date ( 90% fill rate)
    SCH2 08Jun2009
    100 + 290 - 300 = 90 on time for 08Jun2009 date (90 % fill rate) the first 20 of the GR on 07Jun2009 went to fill the late, early date.
    Best of luck !
    SCH2 100 +290 - 300 = 90 on time for 07Jun2009 date

  • How to create a time counter without using Sleep()?

    I want to create a time counter that would count from 120 minutes and down. I thought about using Sleep() but I have found out that Sleep() is not accurate (so maybe the countdown would take 122 minutes instead of 120 minutes!). What other alternatives do
    I have?
    Note that I want to count 1 second at a time, because I want to show the countdown progress to the user in seconds.

    The next experiment still uses Sleep and waits for approximately 12 seconds, displaying the time each second. However it is probably too overcomplicated compared to time polling:
    const
    int SECONDS_TO_WAIT =
    12;
    ULARGE_INTEGER ul_end;
    FILETIME ft;
    GetSystemTimeAsFileTime( &ft );
    ul_end.LowPart = ft.dwLowDateTime;
    ul_end.HighPart = ft.dwHighDateTime;
    ul_end.QuadPart += 10LL *
    1000 *
    1000 * SECONDS_TO_WAIT;
    for( ;; )
    FILETIME ft;
    GetSystemTimeAsFileTime( &ft );
    ULARGE_INTEGER ul;
    ul.LowPart = ft.dwLowDateTime;
    ul.HighPart = ft.dwHighDateTime;
    if( ul.QuadPart >= ul_end.QuadPart )
    break;
    SYSTEMTIME st;
    FileTimeToSystemTime( &ft, &st );
    Sleep( 1000 - st.wMilliseconds );
    GetSystemTime( &st );
    if( st.wMilliseconds >
    500 )
    FILETIME ft;
    SystemTimeToFileTime( &st, &ft );
    ULARGE_INTEGER ul;
    ul.LowPart = ft.dwLowDateTime;
    ul.HighPart = ft.dwHighDateTime;
    ul.QuadPart += 10LL *
    1000 *
    1000;
    ft.dwLowDateTime = ul.LowPart;
    ft.dwHighDateTime = ul.HighPart;
    FileTimeToSystemTime( &ft, &st );
    // show the time
    SystemTimeToTzSpecificLocalTime( NULL, &st, &st );
    printf( "%02i:%02i:%02i\n", st.wHour, st.wMinute, st.wSecond

  • File to Jdbc: how to get record count from DB table

    Hello,
    i have a scenario file to JDBC....ihave to insert input file data to DB table.
    now my requirement is ..if i insert a file with 50 records to db table on first time, and then next time if i insert the file with 100 records to db table....the count should start from 51 in db table.
    if i insert another file 3rd time, with 25 records, the count shold start from 151...so how can i achieve this functionality....
    i think following options:
    1. in mapping write lookup to call JDBC sender channel and fetch count and map same to target filed of DB. if this is ok...please provide UDF code..2. db triggers (not suitable for my req.)
    So kindly let meknow possible solutions and required UDF codes..please
    Thanks in advance...SARAN

    Suggestions:
    1)Create an id column in db table.  Talk to DB guy to create oracle sequencer for that column. So, every time you insert record that field will be updated with oracle sequencer. You dont need to handle this.
    Refer this link
    http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/sequences.php
    2) If you want to handle via pi,  following suggestions..
    If you use PI 7.1 or above, use jdbc lookup in the mapping and do the query  something like this
    Refer this link
    /people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/15/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-graphical-support-for-jdbc-and-rfc-lookups
    Do select query as below
    select count(*) from tablename;
    the above query will return number of rows exist in the table. So use that value and map it in the target field.
    If you use pi 7.0 or below then use the previous reply and do the UDF implementation for jdbc lookup during mapping. Because jdbc lookup does not support in those versions.
    Hope that helps.

  • "select count(*) from dba_jobs_running" takes 5 minutes to return

    Hi,
    I login as sys or system from sql*plus to run query "select count(*) from dba_jobs_running". This query takes about 5 minutes to run.
    Querying other DBA_* views returns instantly, only this dba_jobs_running view is troubling.
    I have 11 records in dba_jobs, and 18 records in v$lock as usual.
    No error or warning in logfile, no trace file.
    What's possibly wrong with the server?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    The following are the exact statements I used to create the trace file:
    alter session set timed_statistics=true;
    alter session set max_dump_file_size=unlimited;
    alter session set events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
    select count(*) from dba_jobs_running;
    exit;
    The content of the trace file is attached at the end.

  • How to synchronize two timer/counter tasks?

    Hi,
    I'm programming DAQmx through the nicaiu.dll with Matlab. I'm trying to start two different tasks, each controlling ctr0 and ctr1, respectively. Both timer/counter tasks should start on a common trigger, in my case /Dev/PFI0. Having searched the forum, I do understand that both tasks can't be triggered off PFI0. Instead, I probably need to trigger one of my tasks on a signal that turns on whenever the first task starts. My question is; What signal can inform my ctr1 task that my ctr0 has started? I basically want these two tasks synchronized, but not pulse by pulse since the pulse trains are quite different.
    Trying to trigger both off PFI0 results in a resource conflict. Triggering ctr1 on ctr0gate doesnt work either.
    Also, I need ctr1 to trigger on when the ctr0 tasks starts, i.e. not when the first ctr0 pulse appaers!
    Thanks,
    Per

    Thanks Ryan.
    I made some changes to my code now and it appears I CAN trigger both counters off PFIO (on an E-Series board). I only recently converted all my Traditional code into DAQmx, and got lost in my tracks. I was trying to generate finite pulse trains on both counters, and had used Finite timing on the counters to generate finite retriggerable pulse trains, without knowing that tied up the second counter. I solved this now using Pause Triggers instead. In the case where I generate single retriggerable pulses I still use a Start Trigger, and I can now Start BOTH counters using DAQmxCfgDigEdgeStartTrig and listening to PFIO with both counters (each counter running off a separate task).
    Sorry, I got things confused, and your solution isnt required anymore. Similarly to your solution, though, I have always used a (real) analog output routed externally to the PFI0 pin on my E-Series board as the synchronizing trigger. However, if I could avoid the external wiring it would be nice, so I will explore your solution a bit more
    I am not familiar with the concept of a 'dummy' task/channel. Can you point me to more documentation on this?
    I already use the analog inputs on this board from another app. Will creating a dummy AI tie up all analog inputs, so I can't then access my physical analog inputs from other applications (on the same board)?

  • How do I overlay a timer counting down on a Keynote slide?

    Hello!
    I am searching for a way (app or otherwise) to have a timer counting down while in "full screen" mode in Keynote. I am an urban educator, and I've found it very effective in having a stunning image on the smartboard via Keynote, in order to focus engagement while the students enter my classroom. I would love to also have a timer overlayed on that slide somewhere (right hand corner likely) counting down - so students know how much time they have to socilize and become situated before class "officially" begins.
    Appreciate any guidance!

    My brain got fried with all of the previous SWFLoader positioning and centering - so much that I had to stop and clear my head and then this became an easy case of putting the HGroup and the Logo inside a BorderContainer.  I had inadvertently placed the Logo inside of HBox.

  • Get the connected users count from sql server using powershell

    Hi,
    I am working on SharePoint 2013,I am having SQL server 2012.
    I want to get the Connected Users count from  sql server using power shell.
    Can any one please let me know how to implement.
    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry Tom, I dont like to hear "There is no way" :-(
    There is always a way in computer to get what you need (at least it is good as Rule of thumb). I am not sure we will find it here (in a voluntary supporting forum).
    Now we (or better the architect of their system) should think of the way :-)
    Of course doing so in the forum, while we do know the system and only got a glimpse on what is needed, is not the best idea. I will point some issues which can be related to a solution. Those are not a solotions as it is but something we can use for a solution
    once something look in the right way.
    * A web connects counter is one of the easier thing to do. The basic idea is just to use the connect event and the disconnect event an adding 1 or removing 1 from the counter. This is best to do in the application using static variable as any way the second
    the application is down the counter can be go to hell as we know there is no one connect (there for a counter do not use database usually). Using a web dot-net (or asp 3) application this is done most of the time using the global.asa/global.asax file, which
    include the application and session events. for example using the method Session_Start
    protected void Session_Start(object sender, EventArgs e) {
    // Code that runs when a new session is started
    * IIS have a build-in loging system where we can log each and every request/response or only logins users. There is lot we can do with this log files including data mining. Using small bulk insert script we can use the SQL agent to insert those logs to the
    database and get the information we need.
    * any web developer i want to believe know about the Fiddler application which we use to monitor traffic. A proxy is not the only way to to monitor traffic (it is not good for our case as this is in the client side), there are several option in the server
    side.
    * SQL trigger on logon can be use to get information on who is loging on and can be logging only specific source (like our sharepoint IP or any sharepoint application). This information (what is the application which connect to the server can be retrive
    in several solution without using a trigger as well)
    *** (I'll be brief ... I'm getting bored... probably the reader feel the same)
    * using extended events and/or profiler we can monitor any connection and save the data or just remember it in shared (static) variable (this
    blog show how to do it by the way). Again we can monitor specific application or use any filter in order to get only the sharepoint users
    .... and i can continue for several days more :-) ...
    "If there is a willing, then there's a way"
    "If you can't do it, Then someone else probably can"
    "Never say never"
    I hope this help somehow :-)
