Minor problem with 7.0

when you first launch itunes it asks a few questions; such as do you want this to be the default player and such, then goes to the actual program, if i quit itunes and then relaunch these questions keep coming up and any changes i've made to my preferences are not being saved when itunes restarts.

I am having issues with the sound...After downloading the new iTunes, I cannot hear a song when it is playing...All other sounds on my computer work, just not on itunes, but it shows the song playing. I have tried all the support ideas and nothing has worked. Has anyone from mac assisted with this problem yet? How can we fix this?

Minor Problem with CSS?

I'm having a minor problem with my CSS for the menu on this page. The child "2014 Fall Season" under "Season Information" is not adopting the font attributes that all of the other children sub menus are using. I've racked my brain and can't figure out why. Any thoughts?

Minor problem with protective c

Ok so I recently purchased the Creative Zen Vision M Mp3 player. It's great so far and I have no real complaints about it at all, well at least not yet, but I think i'll love this player once I get used to it. By the way the touch pad isn't as bad as people seem to make it out to be, at least it is not for me.
Anyways I also bought the protecti've leather case that was designed for this MP3 player, here is my problem though. When I try and press the buttons like play/pause, the options button, back, etc with the leather case on they don't seem to do anything. I take the case off and it works fine. It's a minor problem, but I can see it becoming annoying after so many times of taking the case off to select a different song or change options or to even pause the song.
Has anyone had this minor problem and if so were they able to find a solution? Any help would be great.

Minor Problem with MagSafe Power Adapter

I got my MBP almost a year ago now (partially why I'm asking the question) and I've noticed that my power adapter doesn't always show the charge light. Sometimes it is not on at all, and sometimes it is less bright in color (both green and amber).
If I remove it and put it back it usually corrects itself.
It if fully functional; even if the light is completely out and plugged in it still shows as charging.
So, is this normal? I never remember having this sort of problem with my PB G4.

I would think the led light on my adapter cable was broken, but I discovered it works fine on a co-workers MBP. His adapter, which we know works, does NOT work (ie. the led does not come on) when attached to my computer. This indicate to me that the problem, whatever it is, can sometimes be with the computer and not the adapter.
I would be curious if others with apparently dead leds have tried their chargers on other MBPs.
Here's the long version of my story:
My 5W MagSafe completely fried after only 9 months.
The new adapter was fine for several days until this morning.
My "low battery" warning popped up, so so I plugged it in to recharge and immediately noticed the little led on the charger cord did not come on.
I found it hard to believe that I had another bad adapter, so before making the trip back to the store, I went into the studio where there are some other MBP users.
I plugged my adapter into another laptop and the led came on. It appeared to function completely normally. I tried MagSafe adapters from two other MBPs, but the led did not come on on either of them while attached to my computer.
This made me think there was some sort of problem with the connector on the computer itself. Just visually, it appears to be clean and corrosion free.
The next obvious step, it seemed, would have been to try swapping batteries with the other laptops, but mine is a 17" and everyone else here has 15"... and so we have different battery sizes.
One of the people here at the studio had a little utility called "Coconut Battery", that reports information about the battery health. When I ran it on my laptop, I got what I thought were rather surprising results.
It showed the usual things like current charge (21%), battery capacity and so on. But under "Additional Info" it said "Charger connected: Yes" and "Battery is charging: No".
I figured this narrowed it down to a problem with the battery. But as I was showing these results to my co-worker, the "Current Battery Charge" changed from 21 to 22%. Huh? We left it plugged in and it continued to show a steady climb in the charge, as if it is working normally. Except there is no led light, and the software still says it is not charging. Odd.
I then noticed that the built-in battery level indicator on the status bar was also showing the same increases. The led lights on the back of the battery are indicating an increase as well.
Just out of curiosity, I ran a second battery health analyzer program and again got these conflicting results. This one reported the same battery charge and capacity and so on as the previous one. It also recognized that the laptop was running off of AC power, that there was a battery, but it said "Not Chargeable."
So now I am going to let it continue until I have a full charge and then see if the computer will run as usual from the battery.
I don't think the store here is going to give me another adapter since this one appears to work just fine on the other computers.
Any thoughts on why the led would work on other laptops but not mine?

I've installed the latest version of Shockwave, updated the driver from Logitech for my mouse (Logitech M525), tried both full screen and regular modes, restarted Firefox repeatedly. This drift is very annoying - I spend the majority of my time on FB - seems like the amount of drift varies from not at all to "damn it, I can't even place my mouse on an object without the screen moving".

Well, some minor problems with my GF4ti 4800

I have some problems with my Geforce 4 MX 440 - 8X. I updated all of my drivers and tried evreything.I have no problems playing games using this card. Everything is perfect. But then, when I enter the MSI 3D!Turbo Experience, the program will encounter some problems and will be closed. If I go to the display propeties and enter either MSI information or MSI Clock, again it will be closed due to errors. I don't think that this is the problem with my motherboard because if the motherboard is faulty, it wouldn't work with any GPU in the first place. I really want to rectify this problem so that I can tweak my card to the fullest ( or maybe this card is a total piece of crap). The following is the specification of my system

Minor problem with geforce ti4200 128 mb

Ok... The problem I get with this card is that, you know when you go to
display properties > advanced > Geforce > overlay controls
you get to change the brightness and stuff, when I do, it doesnt work. Now I tried this with my TNT2 card and it works fine so I don't think its any hardware issue... Anyways, help is appreciated thanks!
BTW, I am running in windows XP and have the latest detonator drivers and graphics drivers.

I have the same card and have used it with no problems whatsoever on an Asus A7N8X-Deluxe and an MSI K7N420, MSI K7N2G-ILSR and my current ABIT board without any problems with 3DTurDo or in any games. I have seen the "nv4disp.dll" before on other systems sporadically but it was usually cured by a proper removal of the current nVidia drivers and installation of the latest drivers, however, I have not used the latest nVidia drivers for that card. I have stuck with later versions from 41.09 - 45.XX only. It is most likely a combination of drivers, improper configuration, driver istallation and removal, or possibly the game itself could be buggy. That's a tough one to pin down.
Give my post at the top of the VGA forum a read "Alternative to MSI drivers with overclock settings too!"
Do yourself a favor and stay away from MSI's drivers, I have seen more problems with them as they make changes to install and uninstall routines that are questionable, not to mention they test them in such a way I also might find questionable as well. nVidia's site has an archive of past drivers and so does Driver Heaven.
If you decide to reformat again, I recommend installing service packs, then chipset drivers, then VGA drivers.

Few "minor" problems with Parallels, please help...

After successfully uninstalling Bootcamp and Windows XP, I bought Parallels for Mac and did okay on a clean install. The only problem is, everytime I plug in "ANY" USB device, I get a message (something to the effect) "Device being used by another process". When I attempt to "eject" that device, I still get that same message. Is there ANYTHING I can try??? I was hoping to either connect a flash drive with music and documents, or my 100 gig external USB hard drive, but Windows XP via Parallels does not recognize any external devices. By the way, I even went as far as installing the Mac drivers that Bootcamp requires. That did help with a few other "devices" (such as PCI devices, etc), but I cannot get Windows to recognize any other USB devices.
Your help, opinions and advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

ATI Radeon 4870 Graphic Card - Minor Problems with Icon View

I have a MacPro 2,1 (early 2007)... Recently upgrade graphic card from ATI Radeon X1900 to ATI Radeon 4870... Works fine, except when viewing files in "icon view"... The icons are "fuzzy-like" some pixels are missing... This is seen in any size icon... small or large... or views no problem... cover view, list view, or column view...Does anyone have a working solution for this problem in icon view... Thanks

If ATi didn't specify the card you bought is designed for your Mac, then it's strictly the PC version and is incompatible with OS X. It may work correctly in Bootcamp for Windows, but not for OS X.
Your best option would be to return the 4350 and purchase a "designed for Mac" video card by ATi or nVidia cards offered on the Apple online store.

Minor problem with K7N2G-ILSR

Everything works fine except one little thing.
I've activated the nView thing, so TV is monitor number 2.
The TV (monitor number 2) normally shows copy of monitor number 1.
But I've also activated the thing so that video comes in fullscreen on the TV (second monitor).
I think its called overlay or something like that.
But if I have 32 bits colors when starting a video (remember that everything is fine until now),
my monitor starts to flicker! Not my TV, thats just fine, but my MONITOR!
But if I use 16 bits colors before starting video, I have no problems!
Anyone knows anything about this?
Sounds to me like a driver problem, but wanna check.
Mailed tech. support, but they never answered me...

Do you mean drivers?
Maybe you missunderstood me...
The whole screen starts to flicker, not only the window with the video.
And secondly, I use normal Windows Media Player.
But its the same with all players, I've tried!
Can you anyway explain a little more what you mean with 'software issue'?

Minor Problem with iPod touch

When I go to safari, I will be surfing when the screen goes back to the main menu when my fingers are as far as possible from the menu button. The same thing happens occasionely with music when I am doing coverflow, and rarely with pictures. Any help? i will try restoring everything and post if it works.

When you get taken back to the menu without pressing the menu button it means the program you were using has unexpectedly quit.
In Safari this could be because you were browsing a poorly programmed web page, or a page that expects a certain browser feature that doesn't exist in MobileSafari.
In Coverflow it could mean you've got a damaged piece of cover art.

Minor problem with email.

It seems all my emails are coming in encoded. Not sure if it is some thing to do with HTML or not.
Here is a sample of what my emails look like:

and etc. etc. etc.
I have looked for an option that allows me to choose HTML or not but can't find anything that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very minor problem with Dolphin menu button placement

There is an issue I've been having for a while, which I find slightly annoying. I can't seem to find a way to get Dolphins menu button aligned to the right, when not showing the menubar. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/CdQCtyT.jpg
The menu button is the one right above "New Folder", it should be to the far right like in every other application. Anyone else experiencing this, or know how to fix it?

Minor problem with an AIR app I'm working on

So, I'm working on a new app. I've got multiple instances of

I see a couple things you are doing wrong.
First, I think you are using != when you mean to be using ==.
Second, you're checking the label property of the
WindowedApplication, not the button that dispatched the click
event. If you wanted to get that, you could pass the event to
openURL and look at the label of the event's target, but the code
would probably be cleaner if you just passed the URL to openURL:

Minor problem with X

Hi!
I have an older CRT monitor and ATI Radeon 9200 using Open Source drivers.
I would like to have 1024x768 @ 80 Hz set, but I cannot configure my xorg.conf properly. 1024X786 @ 70 Hz works fine, but when I adjust frequency, the resolution switches to 1280x1024 and cannot be changed. Frequency 70 Hz is irritating and resolution 1280x1024 is quite unreadable on my monitor.
Can someone help me, please?

Hi there,
You need to set your VertRefresh higher in xorg.conf. My Viewsonic 17" CRT uses HorizSync 30-70 VertRefresh 50-160. Google for your monitors best horiz and vert settings as they can vary but I also use this on a Samsung 17" CRT. You need to have your VertRefresh at least around 50-80 for it to use 80 hz.
