Missing 514 Relationship

Hi
We currently have a corrupt student record in our system, the A514 relationship between the Study (CS) and Programme (SC) is missing. We cannot get into the student file to correct this record or add the relationship via PP01 for the CS or the SC. Does anyone know how we can add this relationship to correct the student record?

Hi Mark,
Please go to SE16n, open table HRP1001 with object type CS and the related CS object ID, make sure you are in the change mode and add the following relation on the CS object:
- CS
- object ID
- 01
- A
- 514
- S
- start date
- end date
- variantion field: SC program
- Infoty: 1001
- CS ID
- A514
- Changed date
- User name
- RO: SC
- SC related object ID
This will make sure the registration is there again in your student file. This is just a quick and dirty solution. Please test if everything is working ok again.

We are experiencing missing relationships in the relational model when engineering from logical model to the relational model. The logical model objects have properly defined primary keys defined. We are using SQL Data Modeler v3.1.700. Any suggestions on how to engineering these relationships without deleting the objects from the relational model.

I presume you had some relationships in the Logical Model that you were expecting to be engineered to Foreign Key relationships in the Relational Model.
Please can you provide more detail to help resolve your problem. For example:
Was the problem on an initial engineer from the logical model? Or on a re-engineer?
Are you using Entity subtyping in your Logical Model?
Are there any relevant error messages in the log file? (This is normally file datamodeler.log in folder datamodeler\datamodeler\log.)

Missing arrows relationships in published models

I am facing issue after publishing components / models in BPA (11.1.1.3) ... while modeling it shows proper arrow relationships and when I publish it went all well from front end but... at back end it gives following exception...

Missing in relationship between employee and organizational model

HI experts !
I have a problem when creating organizational model.
When I have created organizational (BP 2), I assigned some employee to that organization. But When I display organization ( BP 2) by T code BP, no relationship " has the employee" was created.
Please help me.

Hi,
Your Org is in which BP Role?
Because if your BP is in X Role then to view the Relationship you need to choose the X Role in the BP ROLE FIELD (which is by default BP General when you Display the org).
Or to confirm your relationship setting you can validate the existance by checking your EMLPOYEE BP.

BP Relationship is missing

Hello All,
All of sudden many users were getting error saying " No BP XXXXXXXXXX data found " when creating SC or posting confirmation. When i see the inconsistency for the user/BP, i am getting message saying "Relationship between Employee BP and BP(Org) is missing". Relationship is there in PPOMA_BBP but not in tcode BP under relationship, so we are getting this error. I know how to correct it, but would like to how system has removed relationship in BP tcode for these users all of sudden? it was working fine for them before. There is no change in HR system too. Is this anything standard? please guide me at the earliest.

Missing .dwt File

This is the first time I have ever posted without searching first, but beg readers to understand I am working a little bit of a deadline here.
Trying to finish up a site begun by a departing developer who built primarily in dreamweaver (i build primarily in vs or textpad...)...
Finding multiple files where the body is built ontop of a template .dwt file; but the original .dwt file is missing.
For example, .asp file carries line...

...but review of the directory [Templates] finds nothing named [FileName.dwt]...
Have learned how to detach these files from the missing template but 2 questions...
1. Why isn't Dreamweaver 8 catching this missing template "relationship" and marking the code in error or otherwise indicating this to the developer?
<and/or>
2. If Q1 "off-point" what might I be not yet understanding about these .asp / .dwt "relationships" that would explain this scenario?
...at this point seems a bug in DW8 to create a relationship, eliminate 1/2 of that relationship but not error or notifiy developer or user...
Has anyone else encountered this?

Not to be argumentative, but...
If I understand the "model" I would
1st:Create the Template with the intention of applying a "consistent-format" across several pages.
2nd:Create the subsequent pages applying the template to each...
Isn't the intention further to enable the developer to be able to apply future changes to the original template so they propogate thru the site?
I would interpret that as a 2-way (not a 1-way) relationship and expect that any change to any part of the relationship would be in some way communicated to the developer.
Admittedly, after some greater expereince now w/Dreameweaver your point of reproducing the template from one of the existing "children" is an easy solution...
I just thought I'd take one more stab at highlighting what seems "intuitive" to this relationship (imo).

i want to get the agent thorugh evaulation path. for that suppos a position is made vacant so i have to find that postion cost manager's employee.
I have to follow the below evualtion path

O A/002 K ( Orgainzation unit to Cost centre Manger id)
O A/012 S ( again position id )
S A/008 P ( and from position to Person)
P is assigned to US in IT0105
How to use it in a rule? Please if any body have a similar case, help me out.

I think you're missing a relationship as well. Usually S (Position) is also assigned to S (Position) for a manager and their subordinates. So the manager's position would be assigned to their manager and to the employee IDs, but an employee who was not a manager would have a position with only a relationship to the manager's position.

You may want to verify with your HR functional team, and if this is the case then there are standard rules you can use.

Setting up attribute

Hi!
In my COPA cube I have an infoObject called 0SalesDeal which contains a deal number (ie: 55555). In an attempt to match the deal number with a deal description from an external system we built on the web I have built a DEAL ODS that simply contains two infoObjects; 1) ZSalesDeal (Contains deal number) and 2) ZDealDesc (which contains the description.
PULLING DESCRIPTION INTO COPA CUBE
I have created a routine in the update rules that, when loading copa, performs a lookup to my DEAL ODS and pulls in the Deal description. This works great but the bad thing is when if I change the deal descriptions in the ODS I have to reload the COPA cube which takes 8 hours.
BETTER SOLUTION?
I was thinking maybe I could set up DEAL DESCRIPTION as an attribute of 0SALESDEAL??? I went into the infoObject 0SALESDEAL and have added ZDealDesc as an attribute but it will not show up when I create a query. What am I doing wrong? I think I'm missing the relationship of 0SALESDEAL and ZSALESDEAL and how the attribute will be looked up.
Any tips or suggestions?

Does the attribute not show up in the query designer? Try to log out and log back into BEx.
Or do the values not show up in the report? If this is the case, have you 'loaded' the values fo the desc as an attr? Having the descriptions in the InfoObject is fine, but in this case it will not automatically associate as attribute.

In Infotype 24 it is displaying as " Change profile period from 01.01.1800" and the qualifications are created from 01.01.1900. I could not understand how to change this.
In the relationships there are different dates, qualifictions are assigned to employees on the date of their birth.
Pls let me know how to change this. Even i cannot delete this relationships

Import the test results and doors links back to doors with NI Requirement Gateway

Hi together,
I will try to explain my problem:
We are using TestStand, DOORS and the NI Requirement Gateway.
We created a test specification in DOORS, TestStand used the DOORS IDs to connect the TestSteps in Teststand with the requirements in DOORS.
TestStand runs the test and creates XML-results, the NIRG is able to import these XML-results back to DOORS and creates a new(!!!) DOORS module, parallel to the said test spec.
This module contains some attributes like the single test steps, the results (pass,fail, whatever, ...) but now I am missing a relationship between the DOORS test specification and these results of the XML file or better, the XML-import in the new DOORS Module.
We want to manage our test results only(!) in DOORS so it should be possible to link(!) automatically the results of the XML to the DOORS TestSpec cause we are able to transfer the DOORS-IDs or other attributes (i.e.. The "un"unique NI ID#") too!

Regarding your statement "We will generate a chunk of XML-Results, so we are not able to link all the requirements by hand", are you concerned about having to update the path to the XML files each time you run the test? In this case, I would recommend creating a directory to store only the most recent report (the report path can be modified in the TestStand report options), and set the XML report project in Requirements Gateway to point to this directory. In your TestStand sequence, you could call code which moves the previous report file into a backup location so that only the newest file is in the specified directory. THis would prevent you from needing to modify the Requirements Gateway project to access the latest report; reanalyzing would reload the project with the new file. The traceability information will therefore always be up to date, and you can see that the DOORS requirements are being covered by the test results.
I agree that there is not really a good solution for importing the XML reports into DOORS, but I think you can acheive the result you are looking for using the report files directly.

Floating, unlinked org unit in CRM

In ERP I have an org unit that is linked to a higher level org unit. In CRM the same org unit exists but it does not have higher level org unit. I want to run PFAL in ERP with the correct evaluation path so that in CRM the org unit is positioned correctly. Is this possible?

Location not Listed in a Job Opening

Hi,
Am a beginner of Peoplesoft.
We recently set up the Mexico BU and respective locations etc. Now, when I create a new JO for Mexico region, I do not get the list of Locations. Locations where configured with the SHARE set id.
I guess am missing some relationship between the BU and the Location thro the SET ID.

So each detail record get's shown with each of the study sites as there is no data to indicate which study site the detail record relates to (i.e. you are missing a relationship in your data)

Help required with Hierarchical XSD design

Can someone tell me whats wrong with this XSD? As you can see there are 26 levels of parent, child, grandchild........... The idea is that even if a child is missing, the relationship is not broken and an XML tag is still generated. This design is not working however

I would suggest you should start with much smaller schema or to test step-by-step on the way of expanding the schema : not only to make sure it validates what is intended for but to make sure the schema itself being correct.
I have only read through the first tens of lines and there are already "many" fundamental errors in schema construction.

[1] What is the attribute startsWith which should be defined in the schema namespace (http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema). Where do you get the idea it means something in the "element" element? What does it mean? I ask because I think it is wrong.
[2] And then type="tns:FILETL" attribute in the element. I think I get the idea that you want to refer to the following complexType named="FILETL". But this is wrong construction. It won't never work for multiple reason.
[2.1] Either you close the element right away and take out what follows and make the latter as a top-level complexType element named "FILETL", or
[2.2] Or you take out the name attribute in the following line of complexType. As such, it is a local type (or an anonymous type) which is forbidden to have a name attribute. That's strict and forbidden.
[3] And then after element named CreationDate which has a well-defined type string and is closed. But immediately after, you have complexType... This is not an acceptable construction. You cannot have complexType (or simpleType for that matter) as immediate child of sequence (or any other component like choice or all etc.) That is fatal error. The schema processing engine cannot go any further.
After the quoted fragment, you probably have a lot of similar constructions that you've to correct them all to begin with. There is a very slim chance to furnish you further help if those kinds of errors appear all over the places.
