Missing arrows relationships in published models

Hi,
I am facing issue after publishing components / models in BPA (11.1.1.3) ... while modeling it shows proper arrow relationships and when I publish it went all well from front end but... at back end it gives following exception...

Default Camera and the Publish Model

Hey,
i log into a room with the room console.
Then i select "Default Camera" in the tab "Streams" and klick on "Configure".
Now i choose "Viewer (10)" as "Publish Model" and save with "OK".
When i click on "Configure" again the "Publish Model" is set to "Owner (100)".
Can you tell me whats possibly wrong?
What i want to achieve is, that visitors with role 10 can send their webcam.

Thanks for pointing this out. There was an UI bug on our side which would show Owner(100) when it should be Viewer(10) and vice versa as you pop the config dialog for audio/camera.
That is why you will see if you switch from either Owner(100) to Publisher(50) or Viewer(10) to Publisher(50), the UI works fine.
The Good News is that, it was only a UI display bug i.e. if you select either access or publish model to a value , let's say owner, the role will be actually set to the owner. Only when you open the dialog again the display will be wrong.
I have fixed it and there will be an SDK update very soon and will be fixed in that. Till then , you can just ignore the UI issue.

Logical model fwd engineer to relational model. Missing FK relationships

We are experiencing missing relationships in the relational model when engineering from logical model to the relational model. The logical model objects have properly defined primary keys defined. We are using SQL Data Modeler v3.1.700. Any suggestions on how to engineering these relationships without deleting the objects from the relational model.

I presume you had some relationships in the Logical Model that you were expecting to be engineered to Foreign Key relationships in the Relational Model.
Please can you provide more detail to help resolve your problem. For example:
Was the problem on an initial engineer from the logical model? Or on a re-engineer?
Are you using Entity subtyping in your Logical Model?
Are there any relevant error messages in the log file? (This is normally file datamodeler.log in folder datamodeler\datamodeler\log.)

Missing in relationship between employee and organizational model

HI experts !
I have a problem when creating organizational model.
When I have created organizational (BP 2), I assigned some employee to that organization. But When I display organization ( BP 2) by T code BP, no relationship " has the employee" was created.
Please help me.

Hi,
Your Org is in which BP Role?
Because if your BP is in X Role then to view the Relationship you need to choose the X Role in the BP ROLE FIELD (which is by default BP General when you Display the org).
Or to confirm your relationship setting you can validate the existance by checking your EMLPOYEE BP.

For eg. you have characteristic relationship between two characteristics Product and Product Group with following valid combinations:
Product | Product Group
'#           |     Juice
Juice 1   |    Juice
Juice 2   |    Juice
Here, if you set checkbox 'EXCL #'. then the first combination which has '#' in Proudct will not be considered as valid combination by system.

Using expression in Default Value for Parameter in BI Publisher Model

Hi Everyone,
I have created a BI publisher data model with bind parameters. It works fine, however, I need to put a default value in the parameter that is the result of a query. I have a month and a year parameter and for month parameter, I want the default to be always the current month when the report is first opened. I put the sql query in the default column but it does not seem to work.

Subreport displays "..Missing parameter values" when published

I would like some expert knowledge on the issue i'm currently having with a transaction report that I've developed. I have one main report with all the db tables linked.
I have two parameters field defined, one is part id, the other is date issue.
I have 3 report footers defined: 1=issues subreport, 2=adjustments subreport, 3=cycle counts
The subreports has a subreport link for Part id and one for the date issue, date adjustment, and date cycle counted. I've also created in each of the subreports a date parameter field or else these data will not display on the primary report correctly.
When i run this report in my Crystal Reports XI pro software, it works fine, all transactions are captured and everything is great.
When i publish this report onto the Crystal reports enterprise server, after entering the two values on the main report, the report errors with [COMException: Missing paramter values].
I know that there is a subreport linkage problem that i have or I'm doing something backwards but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Main report:
Has 5 db tables linked, a counts table, a parts table, a detail table, a receipts table, and a adjustment table.
Parameter fields on the Main report:
1 for part id
1 for date issue range <this range should match to the other 3 sub-reports>
Sub-Reports: <example>
Receipts sub
Adjustment sub
Count sub
Example: The report footers where these subreports reside, all their subreport links are:
partid --> ?Pm-<tablename>partid with check in the select data in subreport based on field <tablename>partid
receivedate --> ?Pm<tablename>receive date with no checkbox
same for other 3 = this is the only way the data displays correctly.
All sub-reports have the following parameter fields:
Pm-<tablename.Part>
Receiptdate
Pm-<tablename.receipt date>
Pm<tablename.part>
adjustmentdate
Pm<tablename.adjustment date>
Pm<tablemname.part>
countdate
Pm<tablename.count date>
When i press the refresh on the main report, all of the date ranges comes up, i enter the value in all of the ranges, and the data displays accurately and correctly.
Because the 3 prompts in the sub-reports are not on the main report, i think this is where the problem when i publish the report on the server it errors with missing parameters.

Crystal Reports - missing dynamic parameters when published to InfoView

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem when I publish Crystal Reports 2008 V1 which includes dynamic parameters on InfoView (either on BO EDGE 3.1 or Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1). Problem manifests itself in missing dinamic parameters - I get only static parameter panel and need to write in the value by myself... All other documents like Webi, Deski (on BO EDGE) works fine.
I have tried to install all latest Service Pack's for Crystal Reports 2008 V1 but it didn't solve the problem. Btw, Crystal Reports 2008 V1 designer is installed on client machine.
Here are the details of both installations:
BO EDGE 3.1.
OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2
Repository database: MS SQL Server 2005
CR Server 2008 V1
OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2
Repository database: MySQL
Does anyone had a same problem?
I will appreciate any help!

I had the same situation when I changed from a SQL server 2005 data source to a SQL server 2008 data source while using CR 2008. Change printer option default in the report designer to use u201CNo Printer (optimize for screen display) and republish to InfoView. Not sure why this would work, but it resolved the issue for us.

Missing arrow and trash can icon in camera roll

Recently found that the arrow and trash can icon is missing from the camera roll, instead i found there are 4 buttons - "Share", "Copy", "Print", "Delete". But it doesn't show any effect when i touch on any of these buttons.
Did i accidentally change the setting that causes this ? Please help. Thank you !

You can cancel the use of the item...which is then stored in the trash and can be reused at any time...

Missing Arrow pictures in iWeb Slide Show

iWeb creates navigation items for slide shows created with photo pages.
Now due to the closing down of me.com these images have disappeared.
Here an example of one of these items:

I use iWeb 3.0.4.
It's an oversight that is not very Apple like, please get these images back on the server quickly, to confirm that you are a company that puts quality first. Thank you!

Why should this be a problem?
it would be a problem when you design web sites for multi client:
1) it's not fair to one client to be leeched by others.
2) when the image host server goes down, other clients are hosed... just like with mme.
but if you have a neater solution please publish it

Why would you want to crticise OT's method
not crticising, just pointing out the flaws... it's an open forum.
It may be that the iWPopUpSlideshow.js is not the "proper place" to modify the slideshow but it works.
The "missing control background image" is easily fixed by changing the file paths in the iWPopUpSlideshow.css file in the resources folder.
that's just to prove iWPopUpSlideshow.js is not the proper place.
hint: slideshow.html is the file uses both iWPopUpSlideshow.js and iWPopUpSlideshow.css, start from there.

No scroll bar arrows in some Safari apps - is there a recent update on these much missed arrows?

I know, I know, there has been much discussion on these arrows. I have read most of it. But I am still using OS 10.6.8 and the arrows are missing in ALOT of the sites I use (Safari 5.1.10) (I have arrows in this forum and am thankful for it!). Yes, the up and down arrows work. No, there is no "General" in my System Preferences. Yes, I want the scroll bar arrows back everywhere! Writing to Apple won't help cause I don't plan on updating to any new version in the near future!

No, there is no "General" in my System Preferences.
System Preferences - click and hold the 'Show All' button to see if General is listed there.

Missing 514 Relationship

We currently have a corrupt student record in our system, the A514 relationship between the Study (CS) and Programme (SC) is missing. We cannot get into the student file to correct this record or add the relationship via PP01 for the CS or the SC. Does anyone know how we can add this relationship to correct the student record?

Hi Mark,
Please go to SE16n, open table HRP1001 with object type CS and the related CS object ID, make sure you are in the change mode and add the following relation on the CS object:
- CS
- object ID
- 01
- A
- 514
- S
- start date
- end date
- variantion field: SC program
- Infoty: 1001
- CS ID
- A514
- Changed date
- User name
- RO: SC
- SC related object ID
This will make sure the registration is there again in your student file. This is just a quick and dirty solution. Please test if everything is working ok again.

Missing arrows for scrolling through tabs

I am missing the left and right arrow keys for scrolling through tabs. They show up in new windows, but not in restored windows.

The time it worked I completely closed all the "original restored" windows and made a new window with more than 11 tabs. This new window had the left/right arrows for scrolling through the tabs. They also appeared when I forced quit firefox and restored using session restore addon.
This is only happening to my previous sessions. Any new session is working fine.
Also my os is mac.

"Add Link" missing from Calendar after publishing sharepoint page

The "Add Link" is missing from Calendar when I publish the page. While in the edit mode, I can see the "Add Link" option. I also made sure I have the right view mode set for the calendar. I am using SharePoint 2013.

Please click somewhere in the Calendar web part and check if Events/Calendar tab appears, and try to add new event. If you highlight one box in the calendar, could you see the +Add as below:

List view in applications folder missing arrows

I have a 27" i7 iMac and I recently updated to 10.7.1. I have a clean install of Lion. After updating, a strange thing happened in my Applications folder. When in list view, the arrows that are usually next to the folders, allowing you to expand and collapse them, are gone. It is only one the top level of that folder. Everywhere else works fine. Also, I can't click on the headings to resort. Is anyone else experiencing this or have an idea on how to fix it?
