Missing method in orabpel.jar version with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 [Solved]

Hello, I develop BPEL Application, and in my code I use the method getRevision() of the com.oracle.bpel.client.IBPELProcessHandle interface. To do it, I use BPM Workflow Library, which ships with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3. Compiler tells me that "method getRevision() not found in interface com.oracle.bpel.client.IBPELProcessHandle", though it must be present there according to javadoc (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/integrate.1012/b25709/com/oracle/bpel/client/IBPELProcessHandle.html).
So, how can I call this method? If update library, where can I get the right version and how to attach it correctly?
Waiting for your response!

Hi,
only because a method was available in an older version (10.1.2) it doesn''t mean it still exists in the current
Please consult the BPEL forum if there were any API changes in this class

  • Jar made with JDeveloper throws WebServiceException

    Hello experts,
I have a situation where i have to call a webservice from OIM via OSB.The exposed webservice is for adding ESSO credentials. When the webservice is called from OSB by the way of hardcoding everything works ok, when the same webservice is called from JDeveloper everything works ok, but when called from OIM i get the exception in step 6. I did the following steps:
1.Generated the webservice proxy and client in JDeveloper based on a wsdl.
2.Called with success the exposed webservice and sent the data correctly from JDeveloper.
3.Packed the code into a jar.
4.Deployed the jar on the server and made an adapter for the method that calls the webservice with correct mappings.
5.Runned UploadJars.sh with the option JavaTasks and made a process task for the above adapter with correct mappings.
6.Got the following exception when runned from OIM : javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: class <ClassName>do not have a property <Property in the form of a String>.
My first question would be : must i run UploadJars for other jars except for the one that i made for calling the webservice?
    I'm using java 1.6.0_24, IDE version 11.1.2.2.39.61.83.1, 11g release 2, JAX-WS 2.1.5.
I saw this error on other forums but didn't see anywhere direct solution. Is there any workaround?
Thanks in advance and best regards!
    Carol

This probably isn't posted on the correct forum. This JVM forum is for discussing issues related to running java in an Oracle database using the OJVM, Oracle's embedded java VM. Possibly you are trying to use OJVM through JDEV but that isn't clear from your post and I don't believe that the error you are reporting would occur in that case. If it did or if you are in fact trying to run client java via JDEV the problem would be a JDEV rather than OJVM issue and so the JDEV forum,
    JDeveloper and ADF
is the correct one to use.

  • OC4J Version with jDeveloper

Hello, I've downloaded both jDeveloper 10g 10.1.3(J2EE) and
10.1.2, I'm developing for an OAS 9.0.4 and I want to know which version of OC4J they come with.
I want to develop with exactly the same version of the production server.
Maybe I must use the jDeveloper 9.0.5.2 version..
Could anyone give more information about that?
    Thanks!

I have verified that the version number of jDeveloper matches with the oc4j that it comes with it.
But i've also realized that the newer versions of jDeveloper comes with new interesting features. So my question now is can I change the OC4J embebed into jDeveloper? That way I could use the jDeveloper J2EE edition with a 9.0.4

  • Missing data-sources.xml deploying war with jdeveloper 9i RC

When deploying a war file to an OC4J 1.0.2.2.1 server and error reports during the deployment that data-sources.xml is missing in the application-deployments/xxxx directory. Only the orion-application.xml file is present - which references a data-sources.xml file in the same directory. The problem is : it isn't there.
When I copy the xml files from the applications/xxxx directory to the application-deployments/xxxx directory and redeploy the war file everything works fine.
Is this a configuration issue or a bug ? Anyway, can somebody tell me how I can work around this problem ?
    Thanks !

this is a bug and you have already found the workaround.

  • BUG: 11g problem when using orabpel.jar for tasklist page

    Hi,
Using 11g i created a BC view object to show a BPEL/Workflow tasklist. Using the SOAP_CLIENT method i got this working. When i test my view object with the business component tester it works. When i create a taskflow with a page fragment that has a table based on the view object it is not working. I need to deploy (among others) the orabpel.jar library with the application because my view object implementation depends on it. As soon as i run the application however with the orabpel.jar deployed the browser keeps showing the Loading image but refuses to continue to load. I also do not get any error in the console or the domain and server log files. It looks like there is a problem with some classes in the orabpel.jar that get in the way of weblogic adf libraries.
Does anybody have experience with 10.1.3 orabpel.jar library in combination with the new 11g weblogic stack? Can i somehow configure class loading in a way that weblogic classes have preference over orabpel.jar classes if they exist? Is there a way to increase logging so i can trace at what point the problem occurs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Andre

    Hi,
Traced the problem to be related to the use of ADF XML menus. When i remove them the problem disappears. So i have traced the problem although i still do not exactly know what is causing it. Since there are a lot of redundant (probably altered versions) of classes in the orabpel.jar library one of them gets in the way with a weblogic class that is used while rendering the ADF Menu. The problem should be reproducible if you create a menu based on the model of an adf menu and add the orabpel.jar to your deployment.

  • Problems with loading native library/missing methods:no ttJdbcCS in java.li

Iam facing one problem while connecting the timesten client to the server The SQL Exception which Iam getting is pasted below:-
Problems with loading native library/missing methods: no ttJdbcCS in java.library.path
I am working with MAC OS X 10.7.2 and my timesten client version is 11.2.1.0
I have also changed the Java Preferences from 64-bit to 32-bit but still whenever i tried to connect with the SQL Developer it gives me the above error.

I just tried this out. My environment is OS X 10.7.4, Timesten (32-bit) client 11.2.1.9.0, SQL Developer 3.1.07, Oracle Java 1.7.0_04.
The key things you need to be sure to do (in a terminal window) are:
    1. Be sure to . in the TimesTen environment script <tt_install_dir>/bin/ttenv.sh to set the full TT environment.
    2. Change directory to SQLDeveloper.app/Contents/Resources/sqldeveloper
    3. Run 'sh sqldeveloper.sh -J-d32'
    and all should be fine.
Note that if you are using Java7 as I am then there is a step 1a. Change the CLASSPATH environment variable to specify ttjdbc6.jar not ttjdbc5.jar. For some reason running the app directly from Finder does not work even if you add -J-d32 into the sqldeveloper launch script. I'm still looking into that.

  • Jar files with oracle jdeveloper

Hi, wondering where in jdeveloper do you go and select where to link to .jar files?
    thanks

I've observed this problem with certain AV tools. Some fare much better than others (inside Oracle, we use Symantec AV and I see very little slowdown even when it's scanning jar files in jdev's install directory).
You didn't mention which version of jdeveloper you're using. Assuming 10.1.3 preview, the directories to exclude from scanning would be either the whole of your jdev install directory, or if you must be more selective, something like:
    %JDEVHOME%/jlib
    %JDEVHOME%/jdev/lib
    %JDEVHOME%/ide/lib
    %JDEVHOME%/jdev/extensions
    %JDEVHOME%/lib
Would be a good start. These directories contain the bulk of the jars loaded at IDE startup.
    Thanks,

    Thanks for your inputs.
So far I have been looking at only CHECKIN_NEW_FORM and CHECKIN_SEL_FORM services for creating and updating content. items These services require files to be attached. I checked the definitive guide and found that there are 2 other similar services,CHECKIN_NEW and CHECKIN_SEL, that don't need the file to be attached. Instead we can specify the file path of the primary file. Since the xml content file to be checked is in th content server itlsef, these services can be used in my case. Moreover since my content checkin logic is in the context of a service, my code become more simpler.
I began working on it and am calling executeServiceSimple("CHECKIN_NEW") or executeServiceSimple("CHECKIN_SEL") based on whether the content to be checked in is new or to be updated. I am setting all the metadata values of the content file in the m_binder local data of the service object.
I thought this should work cleanly but I am getting the below error

  • JDeveloper and other Oracle JAR files with antivirus on access scanning

    Hi
concerns in our IT department about security means that the AV software scans jar files on our client PC's and servers. This means that JDeveloper starts very slowly, even on a 3.2GHz PC. Can anyone tell me how to get around this or at least which jar files I could ask them to exclude from scanning? Also, will this affect running of our 10g Database and tools on the server?
    Much appreciated

  • How to fix the Log4j error due to old version of log4j jar bundled with jre

    Hi,
We have a webstart application which budles the latest log4j.jar (ver 15), but for some users at startup after the app is downloaded the newer version of the log4j jar is not loaded - We get a NoSuchMethodError when we try to use the trace() method of log4j. Question is how do we ensure that our app always picks up the newer version of log4j jar bundled with the app and not the one in the lib/ext folder of the jre,
    thanks

I think we both have similar issue Thread
Do anyone knows why this is happening?

    Hi,

I have TimesTen 7 64-bit as well installed on my machice
When trying to connect to TimesTen (Direct connection) using jdbc from eclipse, I get the following error "Problems with loading native library/missing methods: C:\TimesTen\tt1122_64\bin\ttJdbc1122.dll: Can't load AMD 64-bit .dll on a IA 32-bit platform".

    Are you using SQL Developer?
There is or used to be a restriction of only being able to using 32 bit. A suggestion might be to try the 32 bit client.

  • Correct version of jdeveloper to use with Oracle App Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2

    Hi,
I just want to be sure, I am new to JDeveloper and I would just like to verify/ask what correct version of JDeveloper should we use so we could deploy the finished applications on our Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2 without errors?
Looking at this support matrix: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/11/as_supportmatrix.html#1013
I think we can use JDeveloper 10g (10.1.2)?
I downloaded Jdeveloper 10.1.2 from this link: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/jdev/htdocs/soft10g.html.
Will this work well with Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2?
    Thank you very much,
    Mickey

I have down loaded a track which was initially missing 1min 30 seconds. iTunes enabled me to reload the rack which is now complete on the PC. However, syncing with my Ipad2 does not seem to replace the incomplete version with the full version.  Can anyone out there help?
    Thanks S

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I've un-checked the track and re-synced the Ipad as suggested, but then re-checking and re-syncing han no effect. The track is still missing the final minute and a half or so. I've tried it twice, but the effect is the same.
Any other ideas? Would un-checking the entire music collection and staring again work, or is that a road to disaster?

  • Version Control with JDeveloper

Does any one know what version control packages can be used with JDeveloper? If you do, would you please let me know where I can get info on them.
    Thank you

    Alex,
There are two parts to this answer.
You can hook up any version control system
    to JDeveloper using various JDeveloper
    extension mechanisms including adding items
to the tools menu or complete wizards.
On OTN, you can find an CustomAddins which provides a way to integrate to any version control system by editing some batch files to point to their "put" and "get" type tools. This is meant as a simple starting point.
Starting with JDeveloper 3.2, you will be able to take advantage of the intergrated source control feature that integrates Oracle Repository's source control features into JDeveloper.
    I hope this helps,
    -John
