Mistake by entering figures

Hi all!
I am running Microsoft Office 2011 and Textshop as a Latex editor. When I enter data in a spreadsheet with my Keyboard, the input data will be divided by 10.
Also in Textshop, when producing a .pdf file. When creating i.e.
1. Introduction
2. Experimental
3. Something else...
itl's displayed as
0.1 Introduction
02. Experimental and so on...
No error is caused in Excel by copying one data to another, just by inserting it with the keyboard it will be divided by ten.
Does anybody have the same problem?

Can you try logging in as a different user and see what happens.
I don't have that problem with Excel. I don't have LaTex installed on this computer, but I think I have it (and maybe TextShop) on another which I'll try when I get a chance. However, I would imagine it is something in your system that is causing the problem.
If it works when another user is logged in, then it is isolated to your user account. If still bad with the new user, then try booting into Safe Mode and see if that fixes it (hold down shift key when you restart and release it when the gray screen appears--note it takes a lot longer to boot).
If it works fine in Safe Mode, then some third-party software is affecting the system. If still bad, I'm not sure where to look. Possibly the Language and Text System Prefs under Region.

You mean when actively on the line interacting with an automated system on the other end? You don't. Or, rather, it's up to the system on the other end. When you tap a number, the tones are sent over the line immediately. You can't "undo" it.

Two days ago I was searching for movies to rent. So I casually went on to the Apple TV to browse all the HD movies. The #1 movie was Iron Man 2 (I watched the preview), #2 was Get Him to The Greek. I decided to opt for the comedy and rented Get Him to The Greek right from my Apple TV. I watched it and all was right with the world.
The next night I decided that I'd rent Iron Man 2 (wife's out of town). So I go into the Apple TV to get it since I knew that it was the #1 top rental the previous night was Iron Man 2. Much to my surprise, Iron Man 2 was nowhere to be found in the iTunes store on the Apple TV. Not further down the top rentals list. Not in the alphabetical listing of all movies, not even in the search. "Well that's bizarre," I said to myself. "I wonder if I can find it in the regular iTunes store on my Mac Pro?" Well sure enough, iRon Man 2 was there. So I rented it on the Mac Pro. Curiously, it didn't show up on my Apple TV. I waited and waited. So I went back to iTunes and, oh silly me, I have to put it there in the iTunes sync dialog and then sync the Apple TV. I did that, and since it was late, I went to bed.
Today, I finally got the kids to bed and cleaned up and decided to watch my rented Iron Man 2. Fire up the Apple TV, see that Iron Man 2 is right there at the front of the listed movies on my Apple TV. Sweet. Select, select play, settle in with a nice drink and ....
Your Apple TV is not authorized to play this content.
What the?!?!
Hrm. That's weird. Well let me double check that I can play Toy Story (a movie I had downloaded and watched with my boy a while back). Yup, Toy Story works all right. So I decided to futz around a bit to see if I could figure out *** is wrong. Over to the settings list, hmm, maybe I should try the "Downloads" option? Click. Okay it says "Check for Downloads." Sure why not. Click. Enter your Apple ID. Yeah okay. Now enter your password. Done. And...

Um. Okay, third time's the charm. First let's go into iTunes on my Mac to make sure that I really am entering the right information. Yup, exactly what I thought I entered on the Apple TV. So back to the Apple TV to enter the username (and triple checking it) and the password (carefully inspecting each character as I do it). Still no luck.
Well I guess I'll look up this error online. I found an Apple Support document that indicates there is a problem with aol.com email addresses to log onto iTunes from the Apple TV. That shouldn't be it, I'm using a gmail.com address. Then I found an Apple Discussions link from 2008 where people were flustered by this issue. A few had gotten their Apple TVs to work again by unplugging the Apple TV and deauthorizing and reauthorizing the computer the Apple TV is sync'd to, plugging the apple TV back in and syncing the Apple TV back to the computer.
I gave that the old college try. I came back to try the Apple TV and still got that Iron Man 2 was not authorized on the Apple TV. I thought I'd try Toy Story just to make sure that it still worked. Now that movie said the Apple TV was not authorized to play that movie.
I'm going backwards! Things that were working now aren't and I've spent my entire night trying to figure this crap out. Someone please help me make this "just work" so I don't have to go and smash it to pieces with a baseball bat. My stats as of right now:
1) I can't log into my iTunes account from anywhere it asks for it on the Apple TV. I've tried settings>downloads, settings>general>itunes store, settings>general>network>test network.
2) I can't log into my YouTube account. I've triple checked that my information is correct.
3) I can't play any movies purchased through iTunes even if they were purchased from my Apple TV.
4) I CAN play music and a music video that I purchased on my Apple TV and music I purchased from my Mac.
5) I can play a TV season that I purchased some time ago on the Apple TV.
6) I can log into my account in iTunes from both of my Macs.
Oh also to get the easy questions out of the way: 1) Yes I'm 100% certain that I entered my username and password correctly. 2) I am completely up to date with my iTunes software on the Mac and my Apple TV software (as far as I can tell).
I'm trying to stay calm and keep things light. But holy crap this is frustrating. I spent good money on the movies that I can't watch. I wasted hours and hours of my time troubleshooting and researching only to find myself going backwards and losing the ability to play things that I once had no problems playing. This just isn't working and I wasted my whole night on it. Someone please help!

I cannot help you other than to say I have exactly the same problem and have been trying to resolve it for over an hour now with no luck.
Besides unplugging and replugging in my ATV I have also tried:
- resetting my password to the same thing
- resetting my password to something else
- creating a new Apple ID and trying to use it
None of this works.
At this point I am guessing that Apple's servers are hosed and the error message is just incorrect. Hopefully they will fix the problem at their end over the weekend.
And yes. Holy crap this is frustrating is putting it mildly.
It amazes me that just a few hours ago I was playing with FaceTime and thinking very positively of Apple, but now I'm just ****** at what is clearly a screw up on their part.

The problem we are facing goes like this,
We procure a raw material say for 50 Rs/Kg.
We do the goods receipt, take part II credit and do invoicing,
(e.g. In client 101, we created a material 10000 0010, and created a PO 40000 0002280, MIGO- 50000 07751, MIRO- 5105604217)
Then, it is found that there is some quality issue with the material.
So user creates a returns PO, where by mistake user enters price inclusive of duty e.g. 55.10 Rs/Kg.
And does the goods issue, Raises Excise invoice through J1IS, inserts the duty figures manually as per vendor invoice but, while raising the credit note, the invoice value
does not match with the vendors invoice as the price entered in return PO was wrong.
(e.g. In client 101, PO u2013 48000 00035, MIGO- 5000 07752, MIRO- Not Done)
In this case, there are 2 alternatives
1. To reverse the Excise Invoice (for which we do not know the procedure and how to cross check that reversal has been successful) and reverse Goods Issue and correct the PO for fresh transaction.
2. Pass a JV in finance to match the invoice value as Invoice has got proper Excise Amounts (possible effects in Finance????).
i would like to know how we can go about this issue.

I'll prefer above option,because,material is issued with wrong price and p.o is created with wrong price(While auditing,auditors will raise question for higher price in p.o),So do it as per first option,In J1IS,Click shift+F10,cancel icon to cancel excise invoice,later display excise invoice using internal doc. no & year.

I have three e-mailaccounts how can I combine them into one account?

My ex-wife has our family account on a e-mail account that we still use for the family. However I have created my own account which by mistake I entered it wrong on the app store and already created two accounts wrong as the new account. I want to put the correct account to the correct e-mail and add it to the one account I have to my family account. Example would be I have a @msn.com and a @Hotmail account but I need the MSN account to be deleted and to use the Hotmail account and then add the Hotmail account to the @family account.

I just chnged the password on myipod.Now when i try the new password it doesn't work,and when I try the old password it doesn't work.I know how to unlock it, but the last computer i synced it with isnt working so there's no way for me to get my stuffback

So changed the password on my ipod touch this afternoon, and eversince then the password is not working. I keep trying the old password and hen the new one but none are working. I know there is a way to unlock it, but that would delete all my stuff and the last computer i synced my ipod to is broken, so ther'es now ay for me to get my things back. It's entirely possible. And it sounds like you already know what needs to happen in order to correct it. I'm afraid you won't be able to salvage any data that hasn't been included in your latest backup of the device via iTunes.

Do I need to add Base Station MAC address to list?

Hi, If I choose to use MAC address filtering on my Airport Extreme Time Capsule, do I need to add the wireless MAC address of the Base Station to the list of allowed MAC addresses??? I'd feel real bad if I set up a list, didn't include the base station's MAC address and then could never get in to the network again because I, in effect, locked myself out??? I doubt that address needs to be included but I would like some feedback on that.
Second, does the one MAC address filter list apply to the Guest Network as well if I should choose to turn it on??? If that was the case, I would just turn off MAC address filtering why guests were present.

No. Timed Access would be for wireless devices....computers, mobile devices, printer, etc., that are connecting to the Time Capsule. The Time Capsule does not connect to itself in this regard.

Sometimes, users lock themselves out by mistake by entering incorrect times for devices to connect, and they often forget that they can connect to the base station using an Ethernet connection and get back in that way.....since Timed Access only applies to devices that connect using wireless.

Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
From the PO created, we post GRPO.
Now our need is,
Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?

Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario. There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.

Yes you can correct opening balance of Items, if you have not issued that items for consumption.
Open a old period and use Goods Receipt and Goods Issue option for the same.
For example.
Item A you have entered opening balance qty is 10 and your correct qty is 12 for this do goods receipt entry in last date of (3st March) previous period for Qty 2 with same price.
Item B you have entered opening balance qty is 12 and your correct qty is 10 for this do goods issue entry in previous period for Qty 2 with same price.
I have faced lots of issues entering item opening balance through Initial Quantities functionality.
So for my all new customer, I prefer to enter Item opening balance through Goods Receipt in previous period.

How to use different stylesheets for ChangeAttributeRequest workflow in OAM

We have a requirement to invoke different change attribute request workflows (change password ,change email etc..) from external JSPs..
I want to apply different stylesheets for each workflow. In the workflow URL if i enter style=stylesheet-name its not using that stylesheet. Always its using the same base stylesheet (wf_changeattr.xsl). How can i use different stylesheets? Any pointers on this is appreciated.

Thanks for your response. Now i am able to invoke different xsls for different workflows.
I did a mistake by entering style=stylesheet-name. I verified the same with xsl=stylesheet-name.

An Apology to SDN and a Request for Advice

After thinking about Mark Finnern's suggestion yesterday that I stop blogging so frequently, I realized that I had made an honest mistake about the way in which I was using the SDN blog area.
Let me try to explain how and why this mistake occurred.
First, it goes without saying that what SDN does well, it does extremely well. I have used the Expert Forums on several critical occasions in the past few months, and they function "above and beyong". I also keep a list of "good_sdn_links" when I see great guides and explanations in blog posts, so I don't have to bother searching for them later, and here again, SDN is doing its job extremely well.
But the fact that SDN does certain things very very well doesn't mean it is doing everything it should be doing.
What do I mean by this?
Well, many people here at SDN would agree with me that there are many things terribly wrong with the IT community today and inside the SAP community as well. Furthermoe, it's my opinion that SDN is doing nothing to try and change these things, when it in fact can and should be trying to change them.
So I decided to do my part as a "change agent" by posting a number of "perspective" posts which tried to communicate what I thought was wrong with IT and SAP today.
But here's where the mistake came in.
First, I figured from my read count that I must be doing something right, otherwise, why would my blog posts have @52,000 reads since 10/1/2006, or about 440 reads per calendar day?
Second, for all the criticism I received in personal emails about my blogs, I also received validation at SDN. Let me give you an example of this.
Two well-respected and long-time members of the SDN community indicated to me in personal emails that they had a lot of problems with my two long series of blogs on the WDA component WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS and how it could be very easily converted to do many other useful things.
But at the same time as I was receiving this criticsm , I responded to Thomas Szuecs in one of his threads and therefore took an opportunity to ask him if he knew the SAP developer of WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMETNS, and if so, to convey my gratitude to the developer of WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS for writing such a wonderful piece of code. He responded that he did know this developer and that this developer liked the series very much,
Third, I have received blog responses from several SDNers indicating that my "perspective posts" were registering with them. The one of these that I treasure most is from the SDNer who posted the following: "I like the way you put your finger where it hurts - keep it up."
So, you can see from the above three points how the mistake occurred - I figured that if I had 440 reads per day over four months, and if my technical posts were OK with key SAP developers, and if at least some readers were responding with indications that they understood what I was trying to do in my "perspective" posts, then I must be doing something right.
But if you've been following some recent conversations in this Forum, you'll realize that I was doing something quite wrong.
What I was doing wrong with my "perspective" posts was trying to use the blog space at SDN to effect change in the SAP community and therefore, in the larger IT community.
And if you think about it, this was wrong for a very obvious reason: SDN has this "Suggestions" Forum that I'm posting in right now.
So if I was really serious about trying to get SDN to become a change agent to help improve the SAP community and the larger IT community, then I should have been posting a particular kind of post to the Suggestion Forum, instead of "perspective" blogs.
In particular, I should have been making Suggestion Forum posts which:
a) clearly identify a problem in the SAP community that SDN can actually help to change;
b) offering a concrete suggestion as to how SDN can help to change this problem.
So - having finally realized my mistake, I want to start posting posts to this Suggestion Forum which do (a) and (b).
But before I do, I want to ask two questions up front: one about frequency and one about content.
With respect to frequency, how often should I make one of these posts to the Suggestion Forum - weekly, every other day - you folks tell me.
With respect to content, are there any topics that any one thinks inappropriate for a suggestion post? In particular, would anyone object to Suggestion Forum posts on the following topics:
a) in the SAP community (outside BI/A), matters relating to real business computation are being ignored in favor of an emphasis on tool technologies that have nothing to do with real business computation, but are important to SAP's marketing strategies; what can SDN to change this?
b) in the SAP community, not enough support is being provided to the many external SAP developers who are stuck on systems at or above 4.6c and below 04s; what can SDN do to change this?
c) in the SAP community, there is not enough awareness of deficiencies in the relational database model, and how carefully it must be used; what can SDN do to change this?
d) in the SAP community, there is not enough awareness of how various "organizational pathologies" at customer sites constrain the ways in which SAP can be used to benefit customers; what can SDN do to change this?
e) in the SAP community, there is far too little focus on SAP metadata, particularly at a time when SAP is trying to move into the Enterprise SOA paradigm.
To sum up:
1) If you think Suggestion Posts in any of these five areas are inappropriate, please take a moment to let me know.
2) If you think that Suggestion Posts should also be limited to a certain frequency, please also take a moment to let me know.
3) If you've gotten this far in reading this post, thanks very much for your patience and for whatever advice you have the time and energy to provide.
