MM_Username + subdomain problems
I have a subdomain on my site called members.domainname.com.
When a user is on www.domainname.com and they login, they should go
to members.domainname.com and it should show Welcome Username.
I keep getting the following error ADODB.Field error
'800a0bcd' Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has
been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
If I change the mm login to go to www.domainname.com/members
(which is where the members.domainname.com points to). It works
fine.
Any suggestions?

The problem is in your recordset on the
members.domainname.com page. Open the recordset at the bottom the
second line after filter you need to change URL perimiter to
session varable and on the line next to it you need to put in
MM_Username. Try that

Problem with subdomains (ie .www or mail)
About a week ago I started having a very sporadic problem with my internet connection. My computer will be connected to the internet but random sub-domains will stop working. When this happens random websites will stop working. the strange thing is that the problem is isolated to the subdomain, ie: apple.com will work fine but www.apple.com will return "can not find server" error message.
Restarting the computer will bring back the connection for apple just to make it go away for mail.google.com or some other site. It seems to be random, and nothing I have tried has fixed it. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Im going crazy trying to figure this out, HELP!

Hi - I'm having a problem with cross domain scripting. I've
got an admin interface at www.admin.mydomain.com and it's trying to
access a shim movie at www.mydomain.com. I've tried all possible
permutations of crossdomain.xml and system.security.allowdomain.
The swfs were authored in flash8 but I've just switched to flash10
and am publishing them for flash10 - the error messages when
debugging are more complete.
I've had to put the crossdomain.xml on the root of the server
and on the root of the subdomain (with
permitted-cross-domain-policies = "all") otherwise the admin swf
complains when the root crossdomain.xml tries to access it. I'm
explicitly calling system.security.loadpolicyfile in both movies.
I've tried setting system.security.allowdomain(_parent._url) in the
shim movie and system.security.allowdomain(_shim_mc._url) in the
admin swf (which is in the subdomain). This removed all of the
sandbox error messages (eg

tried to access incompatible context '

that I was getting when the shim loaded into the admin but
whenever cross scripting occurs I get the same error messages. I

I've never read that anywhere and I've read a fair amount of
tutorials, helpfiles, whitepapers etc to try and understand what is

This server is the last domain controller in the domain option in the DCPromo tool, which removes the domain meta-data from Active Directory.
From your details, I remove the subdomain Sub.myCompany.local successfully. But when i try to connect to domain by othe clients i see SUB in the list of domains that client that connect to it.
This is due to the domain meta-data is not removed from the Active Directory.

Subdomain & A Record - Problem with www
After chatting with support and not getting a workaround for this, they asked me to post in the forum. So here I am and am in much need for a good solution. I'm hoping there is an easy fix I'm just not aware of.
BC recently changed the A Record capabilities, so that I can no longer add a record such as "www.joelskotak.noondaycollection.com" as a subdomain (noondaycollection.com is the site url). I am able to add "joelskotak.noondaycollection.com" as before, but must have a "www" record in the system so a user won't hit a browser error when typing in the url with a www. I've tried a few things already:
1) I get an error when trying to forward a domain such as "www.joelskotak.noondaycollection.com" to "joelskotak.noondaycollection.com".
2) I can't add a subdomain, period, using the "add a domain" option. Trying to add "www.joelskotak.noondaycollection.com" or "joelskotak.noondaycollection.com" produces an error.
3) Like I said, I can't add a hostname with "www" anymore.
Creating subdomains is crucial to the business, and I hope someone out there can tell me how to handle this in BC.

I'd start with the basics, can you ping the iMS machine? Can you telnet to port 25 on the machine? Do these steps from the MSX server.
If those things work, which I suspect they will not based on the text "Host unreachable" in your question then I would put master_debug slave_debug on the channel which the MSX system is arriving, either going to be tcp_local or tcp_intranet. Then look at the resulting log file on the iMS system.

I have a problem with an update page on my website
Here's how it work
values are defualted in from the advert table - this works fine
I should then be able to change the fields and click on the update button
This works fine but ONLY when the O_year field is populated.
There doesn't seem to be anything special about the O_year field
I thought spry text validation would of been causing the issues, but I removed them and have the same problem.
For some reason the POST_MMupdate value is not being set to 'form4', which it is doing if O_year is set.
Please can someone have a look at this, code,

Changing the internal domain to a subdomain -- Help!
Hello, so I have a huge project coming up and i was wondering if someone had some experience on this that could give me some advice.
So, started working on this company that has an internal domain called.. lets say abc.com and external alphabetaghama.org .. the problem we have is that we cannot get certs for our internal domain for public access like our exchange
server fqdn for example is exchange.abc.com ... Someone else owns abc.com which prompted my new boss to fix this and now i have a project to change our internal domain to match our external but I know that the best practice is to have a
subdomain as the internal domain and I think that's the route my boss wants to go with.. which brings me to my question.
What will I have to do to get this accomplished... our external domain name is really just a forward zone and i dont have a forest so does that mean that i will have to build a alphabetaghama.org forest and add a subdomain like corp.alphabetaghama.org
for our internal and then migrate everything over?
We currently have exchange 2007 with 2008R2 DC's.. our new domain would be on 2012R2 DCs with the same exchange server..

This really depends on the requirements. As the Domain restructure is a huge project, we'd better have some experts with good experenses at hand. And if the problem (to get public access) is solved, it is recommended to have a good consideration
if the rebuilding is needed.
Regarding the internal domain name, maybe you want to have a look into the below MS article:

I have a big problem with Reporting Services 2005 working on Windows 2003 Server.
RS work as Network service, on subdomain reporting.mydomain with SSL wildcard certificate *.mydomain,
Anonymous access: disabled and basic authentication: enabled
ReportManager and reportServer has defualt virtual folders (/reporting, /reportserver)
My problem is:
1) I can't manage security roles and site settings with report maanger. when I try assign roles to new user or group I get followng error:
"The user or group name 'BUILTIN\Administrators' is not recognized. (rsUnknownUserName) Get Online Help"
when i try to execute reports in report manager, parameters controls are not displayed correctly (very simple text boxes) and I can see:
The selected report is not ready for viewing. The report is still being rendered or a report snapshot is not available. (rsReportNotReady)
and I can't see my report in browser (IE 6.0) but only export to PDF, Excel...
other functionality are working fine i.e upload new files, creatign folders....
2) Also my reportserver virtual folder does not work correctly.
When I navigate to mydomain/reportserver I can see content of this virtual folder, than when I navigate to ReportService.soap i can see normal ReportServer view

However all my reports are run from the most recent data. The rsReportNotReady message appears in Report Manager but not the Report Server interface; the latter is able to render the reports. But both have incorrectly displayed textbox inputs.

This file handles the JavaScript for Spry Menu Bar. You should have no need
to edit this file. Some highlights of the MenuBar object is that timers are

Problems when updating amavisd-new to 2.5.0

Thanks for the great tips and support we got here. I’m really newbie on mac os x server while it’s now a long time I’m on clients ones.
I wanted to follow topicdesk.com tutorials to update spamassassin and clamav as I saw here the initial conf by Apple isn’t working.
Then, I saw before updating SpamAssassin that I had to update amavisd-new first. So, I begin with this tutorial. Here’s what happened (sorry for the long-long post) :
First installed Xcode 2.4.1.
Everything was fine until the CPAN Perl Module updates, as I always had the “make had returned bad status, install seems impossible” error. Looking for some info on the net, I then understand that you have to install everything Apple suggests as if you don’t, you’ll have later problems whith “make” command (I know, I first wanted to install only gcc that seemed necessary to me, and when nothing works as expected, I had to go back and install everything ...) In fact, the missing BSD SDK was supsected to be the missing thing, but not only. Then, just install everything and this is fine.
Updated the whole asked Perl module without any problem, following the tutorial
Then Reboot the server when asked ; amavisd-new new version 2.5.0 seems OK. Then, the beginning of problems...

I first thought mails were lost, and obviously as it won’t be so easy to fix alone without any help (and time is running loosing mails), I decided to come back to the old amavisd-new version, restoring /usr/bin/amavis and amavis.conf, and rebooting computer.
Then, another problem with Perl modules that were updated so that old amavis seemed also not working. I decided to replace /Library/Perl and System/Library/Perl with new ones from a clean fresh install on my local server. Rebooted, and seems to be OK as before. Then looked for Postfix and understood than flushing will force deferred mails to be processed.
Anyway, all is to be done again. If anybody here as an idea of what's going wrong, I'll be glad to learn ...

seems i'm still stuck somewhere in the middle of the amavisd.conf nightmare. had amavisd-new 2.4.5 / spamassassin 3.1.8 up and running after a real nightmare (which had to do with daemonize=1).
after i tried to get up-to-date with amavisd-new 2.5.1 and spamassassin 3.2.1 i saw the same problems (see below) again, while launchd tried to get amavisd started.

remembering the previous troubles, i double checked all things, which could be set wrong (daemonize, etc.) and all was well. tried a second install and all to no success.
later i had the idea, it might be the new amavisd.conf, which troubles (why ever) the startup. so i used the v2.4.5 one and lo and behold, it worked. but why? what is so strange/new/different in 2.5.1, that the startup of amavisd gets broken?
now i read, that they changed a bunch of stuff and i certainly would be using the newer versions conf file, but it seems i don't get it right configured. i'm on the latest updated 10.4.9 server with all fixes installed. every service is working, mail gets in/out and gets even tagged.
well, i didn't do the setup with the 2 users junkmail/nojunkmail yet. is it really necessary to set them up as local users? can't they be handled as every other user which has mail enabled via wgm?

Exchange 2013 - Mail receive problem -Help!
Exchange 2013 SP1 -fresh install -test environment with one test mailbox setup in addition to the Administrator account. Using default Receive Connectors and it is set for Anonymous. Using OWA and Outlook 2010 for testing.
We can send/receive mail INTERNALLY in both Outlook & OWA between our test user and the Administrator user.
We can send mail externally from both accounts.
We are not receiving mail into the Inbox of either OWA or Outlook.
We are not seeing any authentication issues with Outlook -always shows connected to Exchange. But if we have same problem in OWA then we are just testing with it for now.
We ran the Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer for both Inbound and Outbound SMTP and it passed with no errors/warnings L

When I do NSLOOKUP of our domain I get just the two MX records at Time Warner. Not anything with our actual domain name for email in it. I just added the A records for mail.companyname.com and autodiscover at Network Solutions yesterday...but though those
were only for use externally for OWA, ActiveSync, etc
Note we do not use Split-DNS on our internal domain either. Our AD name is different than our public domain name - The AD is named with a subdomain: qs.companyname.com
Lastly, I did not create an MX record at network solutions for mail.domainname.com. Should I do that and set it to a higher priority? -

How can I set up the Dreamweaver CS6 server for a subdomain of an alias
Through my hosting provider, GoDaddy, my primary domain is oldstraycat.com. I successfully added a mobile site by entering this for the server information: Root Directory (blank), Web URL: http://oldstraycat.com/. That worked.
I also have an alias under that account, twoflutes.com. For that I entered this information: Root Directory: amy, Web URL: http://www.twoflutes.com. That worked, too. Now I need to add a mobile site for twoflutes, and here is where I run into problems. At GoDaddy I set up a subdomain for twoflutes.com: the subdomain is mobile and the folder is mobile2. Leaving http://www.twoflutes.com/ as it is for the URL, in the Root Directory box I entered amy/mobile and amy/mobile2, but when I hit the Test button I get the message "Cannot open the server at amy/mobile2". So then I tried entering just mobile2 in the root folder but the result is an error message page on my mobile device that reads, "Ever feel like you are in the wrong place?"
What am I doing wrong? I would really appreciate your help.You will need to enable file sharing in System Preferences
as well as setting up sharing and permissions for the
directories that you want shared. You may also want to

access. The user would require entering a user name and
password to make the connection, but would allow remotes
to change files, if set up tat way.

Change Screen resolution in solaris
Hi How can I change the screen resolution in either cde/java desktop? I remember setting the resolution to 800*600. But after installation the screen resolution has become 640*480 and everything is big.
