how could I modify a standard SAP message that appear in the last view of the Display Material (transaction MM03)?

Yes it's better to do not modify it, but if it's important for you, you can do it as a modification.
use se38 trx. for the program SAPLMGDS, here choose "text element" , in the text symbols tab you will see
text symbol 232 : this material?
and
text symbol 233 : Do you want to exit
you have to modify these text(s) here, save and activate...

I am using LabVIEW to analyze some rather large TDM files, and I need a way to get only the last data point. So far, the only way I have been able to accomplish this is by reading the entire file. Is there a property in the TDM file or a function in LabVIEW that will allow me to get the index of the last item in a channel?

Do you want to avoid reading whole file and want to be able to reach or get the index of last value of channel? is there any specific reason? I am not sure you could do it without loading the whole file. But the easiest way would be just to use array functions "array size" would give you the index of last element.

To set default values in selection screen,I want first and last date of the previous month.
Also I want the first and last dates of previous quarter.
The quarters can be only january to march, apr to june, jul to sept, oct to dec.
I want to run a program on beginning of each month by job scheduling having <b>selection screens</b> for the above monthly and quarterly dates.

How to get month last date and first date without FM's

Hi Guru's,
How can we get month's first date and last date based on the date given in selection screen without FM's?Is it possible ?
Like if i give 05-Oct-2008 in the selection screen, i should get the output as 01-Oct-2008 to 31-Oct-2008.Without FM's???

Hi Rakesh,
You can implement this logic as follows:
You can have two internal tables, one containing the days as numbered 31, 28, 31, and so on with the month number. This holds good if the year is a common year. Another internal table contains days as numbered 31, 29, 31 and so on with the month number. This year would be a leap year.
An year can be calculated depending on the conditions:
Say date is given as 20081008
Concatenate 20081001 + 0(4) into l_date.
Divide l_date by 4 and remainder should be equal to 0.
Divide l_date by 400 and remainder should also be equal to 0.
Then the dominical year will be a leap year.
Now, if l_date divided by 100 and the remainder is 0 then the year is a common year.
So depending on this populate the first date and last date from the respective internal table

my requirement is if we enter the calendar month say YYYYMM in the selection
screen. it has to get the previous month last date in the format DDMMYYYY
For eg., selection screen input 200704
            required output : 31/03/2007
Is there any standard function module.

Sales area data screen -BDC

Hi All,
I have a requirement that when i click on the kunnr field in alv report it should go to
transaction XD02 and should be on screen Customer sales area data..
if i use call transaction 'XD02' and skip first screen it goes to 'Company code screen'
and hot the sales area data screen
so can anybody pls tell me how to achiece this means can we use BDc if yes pls provide the cdoe
i used bdc but when i record it goes screen by screen and finaly reaches sales area data.
if i use display all screen if i use 'N' mode it do not got to sales area screen
but the user want to directly navigate to sales area data screen when he cick kunnr field.

while recordin in SHDB when the screen moves to sales data screen record the screen by inputting some error data and while calling the transaction through CALL TRANSACTION use processing mode as 'E' so that the the BDC will get stuck in the sales screen and the user can rectify the data and then continue.

Expression - First date and last date of current month, current year

I need to have 2 ssrs expression as I can use as default parameters in my report where I can - out from my Time dimension, get the
first date of the current, current year - and one where I get last date, current month, current year.
My data source is a SSAS cube and my timedimension is structured like this:
[Time].[Days].&[2009-01-16T00:00:00]
Any suggestions how to solve this ?

for first Day of current month and year

output will be ;

For last day of current month and year

output will be ;

Getting data in a query on last date of all previous months

Dear Experts,
I need your help with a query.
I am trying to create a query which when run should pick the number of Open Sales Order on the last date of all the previous months from the start of company.
I could create the query for fetching the required data on last day of the previous month, say today is 25th June 2014, so my query only fetches data for May 31st 2014 but I need data for all previous month, May 31st 2014, April 30th 2014, March 31st 2014 & so on.
Please advise how to achieve this is SQL query.

Identify the last data package in start routine

We have a start routine in transformations. We require to do some special processing in the start routine only when the last data package is executing. How can we determine in the start routine that current package is last one or not ? Any pointers in this direction are appreciated.

You can get packet Id from datapackid in start routine and end routine. But I'm not so sure how to identify the last packet ID, alternatively you can store this packet id in some where else and read the same value in End routine if your logic(processing) permits to do this in End routine instead of Start routine.

when created added a field on the screen by using user exit then after that you have add the field in main table where you will be getting these table in the userexit only, please make sure about this. And i am sure defenitly it will get updated in to the table.

How I can find the last data update information(date and time) of multiprovider in BW?

Let me explain how the "last data update" works.
If the query is based on one cube or DSO, it is the time of the last request upload.
If the query is based on a multiprovider, like the example given ealier,
assume there are three cubes in multiprovider :
Last update of cube1 is 11/17/2008
Last update of cube2 is 11/19/2008
Last udpate of cube3 is 11/20/2008.
The "last data update" will be the earliest day of the "last data update"s of all partproviders, i.e.11/17/2008.
Because the meaning of "last data update" is that, data (of all partproviders) has been already updated until this time.
Now we assume there are three cubes like this in multiprovider :
Last update of cube1 is 11/17/2008
Last update of cube2 is 11/19/2008
Cube3 is empty. It has never been loaded with any request.
Then the "last data update" will be empty. Because until no time has all partproviders been updated. This is the design of the system.

Customer Exit for Number of Days from 1 st Apr to last date of Month Enter

Hello BI Experts,
I have a requirement to count the number of days from 1 st April of current year to the last date of month entered.
For example : The use will enter say July 2010 or 003.2010 (as Fiscal Year Variant is V3 ).
Today is 14 July ...So we have to first find out the end date of the July month ie 31 st July
Then go to 1 st April 2010.
Now calculate the Number of days between 1 st April to 31 st July 2010.
I consider I have to create two Customer Exit variable
as below
1 st customer exit Bex variable say ZLY_MTH ( Last day of Month Entered)
and i_step = 1
2 nd Customer Exit BEx Formula variable say ZF_NUMDAYS ( Number of days between two dates)
i_step =1 .
Please provide me the logic for the above two.

PSUDEO CODE:
1. Initially LOOP AT I_T_VAR_RANGE INTO LOC_VAR_RANGE WHERE VNAM = 'ZMONTH'.
2. Get the Month input using VAR_MONTH2 = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW+4(2)
3. Now calculate Month+1: VAR_MONTH2 = VAR_MONTH2 + 1 (Refer **)
4. Now calculate the Current Year: VAR_YEAR = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW+0(4).
5. Get the 1st Day of the Month (VAR_MONTH2): CONCATENATE '01' '/' VAR_MONTH2 '/' VAR_YEAR INTO L_S_RANGE-LOW.
6. SUBRACT 1 (0DATE) from this DATE (This will give the logic for last day of the current month)
Insert this code also for using the date conversions
        CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT'
          EXPORTING
            INPUT = VAR_MONTH2
          IMPORTING
            OUTPUT = VAR_MONTH2.
