Mobile sales online installation for CRM5.0(ABAP+JAVA)

Hi ,
Client wanted to implement Mobile sales online for NW2004s component CRM5.0(ABAPJAVA) stack. We have already installed CRM5.0 with ABAPJAVA engine and EP7.0.Currently we are using EP with CRM5 using PCUIscreens. Also configured SSO(SAP logon ticket) between EP and CRM and BI7.0.
I found the document which says about NW04 instance CRM ABAP stack and need to install JAVA satck seperately then do SSO and deploy .sca files etc...but could not find for MSON on NW2004s using EP.
We have already integrated CRM5,BI7 with EP7.0 using SSO saplogon ticket,now my concern is
1. Do i need to use MSON configuration like SSO,SLD,deployment on existing CRM5.0 ABAP and Java engine , which is installed in one system ?
or
2. Can i use MSON config through CRM5.0 already integrated with EP7.0 ? which is already configured SSO and SLD etc..
Which method is recomended for Blackberry to communicate CRM5.0 system?
Any sugessions would be appriciated.

Does anyone can help me what should be a procedure of installing Dialog instance for ECC 6.0 with both ABAP + Java Stacks.
When installing app server do we also choose ABAP and Java or just ABAP. Installation manual does not cover this and when we run the sapinst we have following problem:
The following are the activities that I have done as pre-reqs on the standby on the server that is to host dialog instance
I have mounted the following file systems on ddrsap02. Created the local filesystem /usr/sap/DSP/D00 and NFS mounted the others

Am I missing some pre-reqs or variable definitions?
I was going through the documentation and it says that /sapmnt/DSP/exe should be a local filesystem for a DI on a separate server. Will this create a problem ?
Also they talk about starting sapinst with the variable SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME set to ddrsap02. I have tried this also
We are also not 100% sure about the settings for parameters:
rdisp/mssserv
rdisp/mssserv_internal
Accorss Devault Instance and Services Instance profile.
When we define it as per installation GUIDE (Abap+Java page 64) we get the popup message in SAPINST:

You have to set the parameter in the default profile and restart the instance.

MAS doesn't recognize custom Mobile Sales UI application for generation

Hello,
I've upgraded a Mobile Sales development workstation from CRM5.0 SP08 to CRM5.0 SP13.
When I try to generate the user interface in MAS I observe the following:
In MAS I created a new project (via menu entry "Build->Generator settings.." - project name "MON", dll name "MON", UI application "Y_MobileSales").
But when I check the project dependencies in the visual studio project (menu Project->Project Dependencies..) there is no MON-project available (only the visual studio project itsefl and sfabol). Thus, I can't generate the dll-file, either (I've closed and re-opened MAS multiple times without any effect).
When I change the UI project to standard values ( UI application "MobileSales"), the entry MON is available within the project dependencies.
It seems that MSA doesn't recognize the custom UI appliction Y_MobileSales. Everything worked fine within SP08, though.
Any ideas? Best regards

sorry, that I couldn't reply earlier. But after implementing the note we've still the same problem. The MAS doesn't take a custom Mobile Sales UI application into account for generation.
The option "ENABLEFORCEGEN" is be resettet to "False" after opening the Mobile Application Studio.
In the Configuration Manager I can't see the UI-Project, only the "sfabol" project appears there. Thus, I can't build the UI solution.
Any ideas?

I have installed CRM5.0 developments system with ABAP+JAVA installation method. Now how to apply license , do we need to apply for NW2004s or CRM5.0?
When we try to apply CRM5 , system not allows.Please suggest.

to my knowledge the installguides tell you precisely what to do. And as far as I know the CRM install guide tells you to first installa NetWeaver. Doing that the NetWeaver installation clearly closes with intstructions to install a license...

We have installed PI/XI ( ABAP + JAVA). i have the following questions.
1)Like SE11, is any tool SAP supplies to maintain JAVA dictionary objects( belonging to SAPSR3DB)?.
2)Like ST05->Analysis of SQL statement, is any tool SAP supplies to get the explain plan for SQL statements related to SAPSR3DB tables?.
3)Apart from BR* tools and DBACOCKPIT, what are the SAP tools available for administrate Java(Oracle) dictionary objects?.

Hello Raj,
1) No there isn't any tool like that as far as i know
2) You can perform a SQL trace with the OpenSQL monitor or the Wily Interscope agent (which i would recommend). After you have identified the expensive SQL statements you can perform an EXPLAIN PLAN in SQL*Plus or Oracle SQL Developer (free tool). The Java stack is not so comfortable as the ABAP stack in this area.

PI 7.0 Installation : Physical separation of ABAP/Java stack !?

Dear forum users.
The system administrator of my customer would like (if possible) to separate physically both abap and Java stack on 2 machines for all XI system in the landscape.
The goal is to optimize the clustering UNIX installation (I'm not expert of this part)
=> optimal high availability. (...)
I just want to check near you if this can pose problem regarding XI operating way.
From my point of you, it complexifies a little configuration steps but Is there another impacts ?
PS : A master central SLD is envisaged and a second slave one on the XI production server.

Our central SLD is on a standalone system
However slave SLD (to ensure autonomy and HA for production XI system) will be deployed on Java separated hardware system of Xi production system.
On master SLD all systems are described and all machine are linked with it (SLDAPICUST) except production XI one
On slave SLD, all data of master one are replicated and only XI system is linked with (SLDAPICUST)

ChaRM for Dual Stack ABAP & JAVA - No http port for system SPD

Hi,
I have configured the CHARM for Dual stack ( Java, ABAP). when I perform the action 'Logon to System' it gives me following option
" The system is a dual stack system. You can log
on to the ABAP stack or non-ABAP stack
To which stack do you want to log on?
ABAP or Non ABAP"
If I click on Non ABAP, one more message comes
"You can logon to system SPD or just display its
transport requests
What do you want to run?
Requests Or Logon"
If I click on Logon I get the Information " No http port for system SPD "
& If I click Continue It will take me to Ugent Correction & error appears as 'Action System Logon in system SPD 100 of type Source Systems has been cancelled'
How to Solve this error.

Theming Options for Web Dynpro ABAP/Java - Custom CSS

What options are available for creating a custom CSS for WDA? My project is going towards SAPUI5, and they want to apply the same look and feeavl to their Web Dynpro applications.
I know the Theme Designer is an option - but this customer is running on NW 7.3. Obviously to get the WD CSS to look similar UI5, it will require changing all of the WD selectors.
Finally, we have a 7.4 Sandbox. If I build the theme there, is it backwards compatible to their 7.3 landscape?

UI Theme Designer is the only supported way and it is available for NW 7.3 as well, assuming you are up to date on Support Packages. As long as you create a theme with UI Theme Designer the theme will work in any system that supports the same, there might be small functional and visual differences though depending on the SP levels of the source and target systems. SAP recommendation is to always use the latest version available to create (and consume) themes. You could start by using the Cloud version of UI Theme Designer, export and import into your own system. That said your NW 7.3 system needs to support UI Theme Designer to be able to use custom themes created by it.

What Mobile Sales solution for ERP 6.0 ?

I have serious difficulty to understand what is the SAP offering for Mobile Sales solutions for SPA ERP 6.0. SAP is vague and just say there IS solution for R/3 (?).
My questions are in two directions:
1. About the "preconfigured" Mobile Sales offerings or xApps or whatever it is:
    - can we use SAP MSR 2.0 with ERP 6? If yes- are still the limitations described in Note OSS 735727 valid (use only with Microsoft PocketPC2003, PocketPC2003 SE and Win32 )

If I am not wrong you are talking about internet sales for R/3 when you say ERP internet sales, which is probably outdated by now. Nowadays SAP distributes something called as mySAP Business Suite which in brief is as follows:

if i use stopsap r3 in this dual stack installation - it stops both ABAP & JAVA Web Application Servers.
I want to restart only JAVA Weba pplication server.
How do it ?

But theoritically they are 2 indpeendent installations like
AS ABAP
AS JAVA
..Do you aggree ?? really am not good on basics!!
During the installation also - if select AS ABAP & AS JAVA - it will become dual installation
and it does not show

Problems running installer for JRE

hello,
i tried to run the online installer for the JRE, and it waited for 5 seconds, and displayed a message:
"Please refresh the page to restart installation"
I tried refreshing the page and trying to restart the installation, but the message keeps repeating every time i try to install JRE. It's an endless loop.
So i downloaded the offline installer, but when i tried to run it, nothing happened.
So... Yeah. I'm looking for some help.

if my source system is 46c-> upgraded to ECC 6 Non Unicode-> Unicode export done-> now i have a ABAP export .... , now i install a target system with Ecc 6.0 Unicode and import the ABAP export....but how can i have the Java component in the target?
That is , how can i have a target Ecc6.0 abap+java?

As Ronald said you need new install of Java on ECC6.
For ECC6 you need Java Engine 700 and R/3 4.6 run Java Engine 620.
You need to run the Installation of JAVA Add-in for ECC6.

License Problem in Abap+java stack

Hello,
I have installed my SAP XI/PI System with ABAP+JAVA Stack.
I have applied SAP license at ABAP Stack using slicense for web as abap+java, so is there any need to apply license again for java stack, because when i am checking in Visual Admin under license node , it is showing license is not installed.
If it is not required then why it is showing in Visual Admin tool that license is not installed. can some one give me guidance on this issue.

No restart will not make any difference.
You can overlook this. If in the /nslicense screen you see a permanent license, then no need to worry furthur..
Also in the system info page , you will see:
Software Product :Days Until Expiry
