Mobile Url for a site gives an error

when i try to access the mobile site of a SharePoint 2010 site it gives me the following error:
<input name="__EVENTARGUMENT" type="hidden" /> Error
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
The mobile Url contains _layouts/mobile/mblwiki.aspx this site has wiki feature enabled

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you access the mobile URL for SharePoint site.
I recommend to append "?Mobile=1" to the end of the URL of the SharePoint site
to access the mobile view to see if the issue still occurs, such as
http://MyServer/MySite/default.aspx?Mobile=1.
If the error still occurs, I recommend to check if the mobile view is activated for SharePoint.

Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

I am able to load some pages from a particular website while other pages from the same site give the error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to know if the mobile view of intranet site can be accessed through mobile device.
If the mobile devices have wifi and are on your internal network, then we can access the mobile view of intranet site through mobile device.
But if you are using a cellular network (and thus are external to your LAN) you will indeed need to publish your site externally for these devices to access.

Set alias URL for SharePoint site

Hi,
I want to set the SP site alias. my server name appearing http://dmfpqabudappcq2 and i want to change it to http://MySharePoint.
I check the central admin - AAM - Edit alias url. I have updated there.
Now, i am setting the new alias host in DNS. for this i have open the DNS - expands server name - Forward Lookup zone. When i go for right click then i can not see to add new alias and server IP there.
Can anyone please tell what i am missing here to complete the setting for SharePoint alias.
Any help is much appreciated.

I've never trusted changing a Web App's URL. I always advise adding a new AAM for http://intranet etc. alongside your already existing server name.
I would return the inital entry to as it was, then add a new AAM for your site.
Now if i understand you correctly you haven't added an A host record for the AAM address to DNS yet? This is described here:

Once you have an A host record you should be able to 'ping' that address from a client computer. You should also be able to browse the site from a client computer (assuming there's a site collection created for that web application).
You will not however be able to browse it from your SharePoint server, this is because of the loop back check:

Instead of using that blog code, try to call the FM 'INM_UI_NAV_GET_OIF_URL'.
This FM takes import parameter, Object Type 'RIH' and the Object GUID (this is the 'GUID' field from /rpm/item_d and not the portfl_item_guid field) for specific item and gives you the item URL.

Feed doesn't seem to work for iTunes submission (gives me error message)

So I've typed up the code for my podcast and literally copy and pasted the example rss feed from the specs page and just replaced it with all the info for my podcast. I tested out the feed through the Podcast Subscription through the iTunes "Advanced" menu and it worked fine, but for some reason when I submit to the iTunes directory, it gives me the following error:
Error parsing feed: Invalid XML:Error on the line 12: The element type "META" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</META>".
I checked the feed on the Feed Validator page and it seems like everything is in order but iTunes keeps giving me this error.

which is a downloading page. The feed must be a plain text file in the format described, strictly with the extension .xml; and you must post a direct link to it in iTunes.

Trying to launch my site gives an error

I created a very simple one page site with just a little bit of text annoucning the real site is coming in 2014. This was more of a test of Business Catalyst than anything.
In any case, when I click to launch the site I get an error message in the top right conrer of the browser. It comes and goes so quickly I don't know what it even says, actually.
When I try to choose a domain name too it just tells me I need to launch the site...which then gets me another error message. I'm not sure where to go from here so if you have any suggestions that would be great.
The current Catalyst domain name is: raymondfrake.businesscatalyst.com

For some reason it started working. No idea why.
I wouldn't have been able to tell you what the error message was, in any case. It would pop up and then disappear before I could even read it.

Multiple URLs for different sites created on iWeb?

When I created a second site and went to publish it, the site was given the same URL (web address) as the first site I created. Does iWeb not identify new sites with unique URLs? Essentially my question is does each MobileMe account only support a single website?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. When publishing multiple sites to to a MobileMe account the last published site will be accessible via the simple URL: http://web.me.com/youraccountname/
However each site has it's own URL which would be:
http://web.me.com/youraccount_name/sitename
So you need to tack on the site name at the end of the simple URL.
For what it's worth I use iWebSites to manage over 40 individual sites.. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files.
If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow I used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites. Be sure to make a backup copy of your original Domain.sites files before starting the splitting process and move it to another location on your HD until you're satisfied the separation process is completed and what you want.
This lets me edit several sites and only republish the one I want. It's something you might want to take a look at.

Formating URL for Discoverer plus returns an error

Hello I have been playing around with formatting the URL. In Viewer this is working great with have created one click extracts to excel. However when I try to just create a link to discoverer plus to startup the connections page also pops up. We would like just the discoverer plus app to popup not the connections page. This is with 9.0.4 version. I have tried adding the following
plus_popup=Fales&framedisplaystyle=embedded
option on the end but when I do although the connections page no longer shows up I get an error on startup. The error states there is a runtime error has occured. Line 0 Error:'Window.opener.connListPage' is null or not an object' The msgbox asked if I want to debug or not. If I choose no then plus opens fine. My string looks like below. Does anyone know what I am missing?

I doesn't happen on mine, but I'm now on SP3. It might help if you upgrade - even if you don't want to go to SP3 yet, your OWA version appears not to be at rollup 2 level. I only mention this because if it is a problem specific to version 14.2.247.5 (which
could easily be the case, because MS change the OWA scripts with surprising frequency) , it's going to be hard finding people who can reproduce the problem.
But to answer the question in the last sentence, searching the GAL and searching Contacts is, in a technical sense, very different. The GAL search is done with an LDAP query against Active Directory, whereas Contacts are usually going to be mailbox items,

Snapfish access works, eprint site gives system error or invalid password error

I just installed an HP Photosmart 7525 all-in-one printer, and I am trying to get access to the ePrint site. I have a working Snapfish account. I have tried to create an account at the ePrint site. The site recognizes that I have a Snapfish account, and after I am prompted to provide my Snapfish password, I get a "System error. Please try again" message. This keeps happening. How can this be fixed? I have a Macbook and have tried this using Safari and Firefox. The browser makes no difference. I get the same message. I have tried logging into the ePrint site with my Snapfish credentials, and I get an invalid password error. Please help. Thank you!

I thought they've fixed this because I, myself, had to use TWO differrent email addresses for 2 accounts. Before try another email address, please clear cache and try again. Hope this helps.

Jive mobile - url for photoshop general discussion

IPhone has an app jive that i could hopefully use to access this very forum from my mobile devices if i can learn what the URL is for this forum.
Anyone have suggestion what is link i am suppose to use to set this app for use of photoshop forum

I happened to have a web view still open in Safari on my retired iPhone 3G and it refreshed into the Jive Mobile view upon establishing a connection to wifi...
The Photoshop Windows forum took a loooong time to come up, and interacting with the thing remained very slow. Unusably slow. It even takes a large fraction of a second to scroll the screen, or to turn if one turns the iPhone sideways, and at least 10 seconds to display a thread one clicks on. Jive surely does make some inefficient software!
Other than that threads seem readable enough, but I agree - it sure would be nice to force it to a normal desktop view. At least that's interactive!

Back up all data.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.
From the application's menu bar, select
File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...
You'll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.
Boot in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Boot again as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

JDBC URL for Two Oracle Nodes

I have two DB nodes which are running independently (Mean no RAC), I want to configure JDBC URL for these nodes that if one node goes down my application automatically connected to second one.

I tried following URL in PL/SQL developer and my fail over is working fine with separate nodes, Only thing i did was i keep SID of both nodes with same name.
