Hi everybody, i am trying to establish a vpn connection to SecureKISS servers. 
I tried different configurations without luck.

It should ask for username and password but It doesn't happen.
In the logs there are some errors like this:
Received an error response from vpn gateway error code 29
and the last error is always like this one:
Error: Failed to activate VPN access point 'SecurityKISS', reason code -5258
that should stand for "IKE negotiation with gateway failed because there was no acceptable proposal".
So, what it's wrong in my configuration? There's someone able to help me with this configuration?

I moved futher with change of configuration on the router and no I get IP from virtual pool but unable to get any further as IPSEC does not negotiate.

When I run the debug on the router, I am getting IP address from the pool which actually also shows up on the phone (n85). It should that VPN is activated also on the phone followed by another message that it is deactivated. I used Nokia VPN  Client policy tool to create the policy with following
 IKEv1,3DES,MD5,
True =  Responder lifetime, send certificate, IPsec expire, Replay status, Use mode config, Use commit bit, Xauth
False= Nat probe 
IKE proposal = 3DES-CBC, MD5

    I'm trying to get Nokia mobile CPN Client working with split tunneling on a Cisco firewall.
    I have full access to all on my internal lan's when I make the VPN tunnel, so tunnel is up and working.
    But I do not have access to anything in the internet, it tries to route internet requests through the VPN. I have set split tunneling on the Cisco firewall and it is working as intended on all other devices.
    Any ideas of what I have missed?
    My policy is based on the bundled Cisco_ASA_pskxauth.pol from the Nokia mobile VPN Client Policy Tool.

  • Cisco VPN Client wont install Error 1406

    Hello
    I am installing Cisco VPN Client on my Windows 7 32-bit  laptop but it doesn't work.
    I have downloaded VPN Client ver "vpnclient-win-msi-5.0.07.0410-k9" which is supposed to be assigned for Win 32 bit but i get a lot of error like his:
    "Error 1406. Could not write value Maximum Plugins to key \System\Current\Controlset\Services\DNE\Parameters
    Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel.
    I have tried a lot of suggestions from the internet but it doesn't seem to work. Please help!

    Yes, i have clicked on "Ignore", however, i receve the same error message for a different address (\System\Current\Controlset\Services\DNE\Parameters) and the Error nuimber changes. It goes from 1401 to 1406.
    I Keep Ignoring those error messages but i do get more than 50 of them. And after ignoring a bit more, it gives me some messag stating that "The installation could not be performed" So my only option at that time is "Abort"

  • Cisco VPN Client 4.8 Error 51

    I realize that this is not a Cisco forum, but as I am not a registered Cisco member I thought I would post my Cisco VPN Client 4.8/MBP issues here.
    I've been receiving an Error 51 message when attempting to connect to the Cisco VPN since updating to the newest OS updates. In a nutshell this message is stating that I don't have an active network connection. It happens over both wired and wireless connections. I know the network interface is active and I'm able to surf the net without any problems.
    I've heard that Cisco released the 4.9 client, but I do not yet have it. I'm waiting to hear back from my network admin on getting the new client version.
    Any thoughts or suggestions???

    You mean the client I wish I could get, since Cisco doesn't allow downloads, and IT hasn't provided the updated version yet....
    And MacUpdate's download page doesn't work anymore either

  • Cisco VPN client crashes with Error 51 on Intel Mac Mini

    I am in the process of migrating from XP to Tiger on a brand-new Mac Mini (Intel Duo). Now I am stuck:
    I use v 4.8.00 of the Cisco VPN client supplied by my university's IT dept. to connect to the Campus intranet. I have been unable to succesfully use this software, as it crashes upon initializing with "Error 51: Cannot connect to the VPN subsystem." Re-installing the software does not change the state of affairs.
    After some research, I used a hack found here (http://www.versiontracker.com/php/feedback/article.php?story=20060107011305622 and http://www.versiontracker.com/php/feedback/article.php?story=20060107011305622) to manually restart the VPN daemon. The Terminal result looks like this:

    Also - the Mac VPN system will work with most Cisco networking devices. You can open up the PCF profile that your IT group wants you to use and figure out most of the questions Internet Connect will ask you to set up the VPN connection. For the rest, you have to ask the IT group or try some things and see what works...

  • BEA-382502 -- OSB Service Callout action received an error response

    Hi,
    I am trying to develope a simple application with two proxy services and Business services. The first proxy sevice communicates with the second one which in turn communicates with Business service.
    I am receving this error during the communication between the proxy services.
    I have tried enabling both "configure Soap body" and "configure payload document" to pass the request from one proxy service to other. In either case am receving the same error. Can you please help me here.

    Hey all,
    I have solved problem with help of one my friend..Actually its possible through routing the service. I agree its a different approach than service callout but it acts as a quick fix.
    The key issue is to map :
    1. Request in format of Proxy service schema to Request of Business service (Legacy service-In this case Siebel)
    2. Response in format of Proxy service schema to Response of Business service (Legacy service-In this case Siebel)
    This is possible using XQuery transformation.
    Steps to achieve this::
    1. Create a XQuery by mapping proxy service schema and business service schema.
    2. Now Create message flow as following: Proxy service-->Pipeline Pair-->Stage1-->Route to business service.
    3. Now in stage1, choose Add an action-->Message processing-->Replace.
    4. In replace, do this - Replace ./* in variable body by Xquery which you created in 1.
    This will work smoothly.
    If any problems, let me know. If any insights on above, please comment.
    Will update this thread whenever I get info about service callout working. Meanwhile anybody searching for quick fix, can use this.

    well, the client can connect to VPN router and i can verify the status online on tab vpn BUT
    after 2-3 min. client receive the error message
    "the gateway not responding"
    AND
    if client tries to ping from command prompt to the local ip addresses he find "negociating IP security"
    status of router is :
    -  all security including firewall is disabled
    -  i have public IP address on Router having 255.255.255.0 subnet
    -  my local subnet is 10.10.1.x
    please tell me what should be done

    try upgrading / reflashing the firmware of the wrv54g to the latest available from www.linksys.com/download
    try changing the MTU size on the client router to 1452
    check whether it makes any difference

  • I can connect my cisco mobile vpn but can't ping & access internal IP

    i've configured mobile vpn configuration in cisco 7200 with GNS3. i can connect VPN to my cisco router with cisco vpn client software from outside. but i can't ping to internal ip and can't access internal resources.
    My Internal IP is 192.168.1.x . And IP for mobile VPN client from outside is 172.60.1.x.
    Your advise will be appreciate.

  • Mac Lion and Cisco VPN client problems

    I just installed Lion 10.7 on my iMac and can no longer use the downloaded Cisco VPN client to connect to Microsoft Remote Desktop and access the PC in my company's office. When I try to launch the VPN client I get Error 51. I used to be able to enter a command in the Terminal as a workaround to use the VPN client when that happened, but that no longer works. I have tried booting into 32-bit mode; doesn't work. I tried to use the Cisco client built into Lion using settings provided by my company. When I try to connect I get the following message: "The negotiation with the VPN server failed. Verify the server address and try reconnecting."
    I have searched the web looking for a solution. My company's tech department is stumped; the Apple Geniuses haven't been able to help. Does anyone have any ideas how I can use either the downloaded Cisco VPN client or the client built into Lion?

    Make sure you configure the attributes correctly.
    Secondly the inbuilt VPN client code of Lion is made in collaboration with Cisco so there will not be any issues of compatibility.

    So like many I took my machine and upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 the other day. At the time I still had the older WatchGuard Mobile VPN (ipsec) software installed. It was still there after the upgrade so foolishly I assumed all was well. I went to connect the other day and clearly it was having issues NCPMON.exe.     Does the new command 2 binary format work with Apple Push Notification Service? I am sending 2 messages with the same payload to 2 different devices. None of the messages display on either of the devices. It seems that at least 3 should have been displayed. For my first device, I received a response with an invalid status code of 128 and the message identifier is 2 indicating that the first message was OK. However no message was displayed on the phone. For the second device, I did not receive any error response, but no message was displayed on the device.
    Does ANS perform any validation on the message identifier? The Local and Push Notification Programmin Guide says the message identifier is:
    An arbitrary, opaque value that identifies this notification. This identifier is used for reporting errors to your server.
    I know that the device tokens are valid because the same tokens work when I use the legacy basic or enhanced formats. The phones display the messages correctly when I send to ANS using the old ANS message format.

    Item id  should be followed by item length. But item length is obviously greater than 32 because device token's length is 32. Can you please explain why 0 32 were used? and do you have any insight on item id meaning ?

  • AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client v3.1.04066 "The VPN client driver encountered an error"

    Hello, I am a software engineer and have been trying to connect to my client's VPN using the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (version 3.1.04066) and keep receiving the error "The VPN client driver encountered an error. Please try again or restart your system."
    I am on a Windows 7 system with an intel i7-2670QM cpu. My computer model is an HP Pavilion dv7.
    I have tried uninstalling the software, re-installing it. I've tried restarting my system multiple times through the process. I've checked the registry and made sure the name was setup correctly. I have checked and made sure that the correct services are not enabled. I have also tried what was suggested on the support page and checked the integrity of catroot2 as well as renaming it and regenerating the folder. None of these have been able to fix my problem.
    For information, this is the message history when I try to connect:

    I have tried every kind of search I can think of to find any other solutions to try, and I cannot find anything else. Does anyone have any other recommendations of what to try in order to be able to connect to my client?

    Yes, I am sorry to say that several people have seen the same issue.  It seems like the issue is specific to Yosemite and Anyconnect. My very technical staff and I have tried many things.  The default route is missing and the file /var/run/resolv.conf is also missing which means that both the route and DNS server are messed up.  We re-added the default route manually which allows us to ping the servers and even access them via the IP address
    Run the command below before starting the VPN to get the default route
    netstat -nr | grep default
    Then run the following to re-add the default route.
    route add default xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
    BUT there is no way that I can find to fix the DNS entry. 
    We tried re-adding the DNS entries in the /var/run/resolv.conf  and then restarting the DNS service
    $ sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.discoveryd.plist                                                                              
    Password:
    $ sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.discoveryd.plist 
    BUT THIS DOES NOT WORK!
    If anyone can help us solve the DNS issue, at least we have a work-around for our technical people until Cisco and/or Apple can resolve it.

  • Having difficulty updating to latest version of iTunes for my PC. Originally got C   runtime error response. Uninstalled iTunes, then tried reinstalling and now receiving "service (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start" response.

    When attempting to update to latest version of iTunes on my PC (11.1.4) I received an error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error as well as: AppleSync Notifier.exe - entry point not found, the procedure entry point sqlite_wal_checkpoint cound not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll.
    I unistalled iTunes, then attempted to reinstall. I get to a point where I receive the following response: Service (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." I'm stuck at this point and unable to proceed with install. Help please!

  • Client closed connection before receiving the entire response

    Hi I am using URLFilePromise to download a zip file from my server to desktop using an air app. The zip file is about 200MB, but after it reaches downloading about 7 MB , urlFilePromise is dispatching complete event. I could see the following error message in charles debugging proxy saying "Client closed connection before receiving the entire response". I have tried the same download url in the browser and it works fine. Please suggest me, What causes this issue??, how to resolve this??
    I am using http protocol to download this file.

    Even i tried setting URLRequestDefaults.idleTimeout property, but didn't help.

    I have a problem when i'm trying to install Cisco VPN client on my Windows 8.1 x64. After downloading 3 or 4 different versions of Cisco it keeps rising the same error concerning a DLL that is required. I'd really appreciate some advice or the reason why
