Modify the "Change Answers Results" form

I have a requirement where I need to modify the "Change Answers Results" to show additional information. But I dont seem to be able to locate the out of the box form to copy and modify with my fields.
I am talking about the form that opens up once a user changes his answers from the end user menu. The url is :
http://localhost:8080/idm/user/changeAnswersResults.jsp

Modifying the Site Studio Contributor Form

Is there a way to modify the wcm.sitestudio.form.htm? I say this because each time I make a simple change to it, Site Studio doesn't use my change. It looks like it's reverting to a different copy other than the one I edited.
I can see a custom/sitestudio/wcm.sitestudio.form.js file - so I'm assuming I can add any Javascript mods there, but what about the form htm file itself?
Basically here's what I'm trying to achieve. I'm using a jquery library to resize certain images on the Site Studio layout files. But when you're in Contributor mode you see these images as full size. I'd like to use that same jquery library when the contributor is in the edit mode to resize the images in it as well.

Update: I found the answer to my problem. I found I can use a simple component to over ride this file.

Modifying the format of standard form for transaction PP40

Hello gurus,
I want to modify the format of the standard form HR_ALL_BUCH for training and event management section of HR. For this i know that i have to copy the standard form into a z-form. So i copied the form and named it as ZH_ALL_BUCH. Now i am able to change the contents of the mail but i cannot reposition the windows. The section where we put the height and width of window is looking grayout even if i open th form in change mode. How can i reposition the windows?

I solved my problem myself. The original form was in german language. so while opening the form in change mode, the language of the form should have been 'DE' and not 'EN'. So i set the language as 'DE' and the form windows were repositionable. Thanks.

Dialog Box as "Do you want to save the changes?" in Forms.

I have 4 datablocks in my forms that corresponds View.
In the form design, I have a canvas(multiple inserting design) with two buttons that calls the other two blocks.
Am inserting the records in the following way,
In first record,
am entering the value in one block, then a button-press event and so it opens another canvas where I enter some values then return to my main canvas. This is one row.
But while I try to insert in the second row, there arises the dialog box as "Do you want to save the changes"?
I should not get that dialog box.
Please suggest me with the solution.

Let me clearly explain.
I have 3 blocks created from view not table.
I have a canvas in the multiple display layout i.e Number of items displayed is 10.
In that canvas, I have set the two buttons. the button event is calling another canvas.
Am inserting a record in the first row in the following sequence.
Inserting the values for some fields in the main canvas, then entering the button, it opens another canvas that responds to another block, there am entering some values and closing the button event canvas, then returning to my main canvas, then entering the remaining fields with the values, thus my first row ends.
Now I want to enter the values in the second row, while I navigate from the first Row to the Second row, there arises the dialog box as to save the changes or not?
I should not get the dialog box.
Am inserting the values in the database using Insert statements in all the blocks.
Hope U understand the issue.

I am new to OATS. I would like to know how do we change the automated result. For Example.
- Object Test: Test
1.524 Passed
Attribute 'title': Expected: 'Detach Pane', Actual: 'Detach Pane'
0.002 Passed
Attribute 'alt': Expected: 'Detach Pane', Actual: 'Detach Pane'
0.000 Passed
In the above result I would like to color code the "Expected:" and "Actual:" also need to give more space between the Expected and the actual result or I may like to add a line space between them.
If the Expected has long list of values then the result is very hard to differentiate.

Store attribute is a function attached to a type of object to get the value of an object attribute.
When doing your object test on a specific object, you can identify all the attributes of the object (you can also see that in OpenScript 9.3 in the Object Details panel when recording (bottom of openscript window). Then you can save the object path of your object and right click in the tree view to Add -> Other -> and type "Store Attribute" in the filter field and select the "Store Attribute" on the type of object you want to save the attribute on.
Code view: In the example below, you want to get the attribute "text" of the input text textbox: (login in Siebel screen)

How to make the change code result available on development system

Dear Friends,
I have done the source code changes after check out code from the SLD.
In our SLD, the NWDI is installed on Development system and configured other systems are Training, Quality and Production.
I would like to view the result of changes on development system.
How can I do that?
Do I need to activate the code? or Check in the code?
I do not want to check in the code unless it is confirmed.
Please help me.

Well, in my practice I gone ahead with on more step.
I check-in the code and asked for activation.
Meanwhile generated Activation Request Number displayed.
But even after that there is no changes resulting while executing the page.
Can you help me further on this.

In query designer , cant able to change/modify the query porperties

even in production or develeopment i have selected one query in query designer and opened and after that am selecting one default value and then right hand side it displays the properties of that particular query then i can not modify the changes ...that Display and change option is in disable....how can i enable this button...
please help me friends...
previously i have tried using production and then i thought because of production it is not getting enabled then i tried in development , and came to know that even in development also same problem it is not getting enabled....

actually i want to explain detail ..
after selecting the one particular query , am just placing the mouse in my charecteristics restrictions and then right hand side
properties window gets displayed and at the top we can find display/change button and save button technical name

in that display and change button is disabled...i want that button to be enabled.
i have checked in my authorizations in SU01...
even i have all the profiles like SAP_ALL ...
and then i have been trying to have transaport connection and then creating transport conn. for BeX...but it is asking package name...
in this case i dont know the exact package name....
can any body help me in this regard???

Query find no records in Enter Quality Results Form (QLTRSMDF)

Hi,experts
When execute query (F11/ctrl F11) in Enter Quality Results Form (QLTRSMDF) for a particular plan,say I want to query all results in that plan,it found nothing.
In system block/last query, found that it uses occurrence and collection_id which is newly created.
And compare with the SQL used in Update Quality Results Form,there are different conditions used,say org_id is used in the Update form.
Is it okay to query results in Enter Quality Results Form (QLTRSMDF) of a plan?
or it is designed to use the Update form to query and update?

No you have to use the View Quality Results Form (QLTRSINF) to see already entered collection results. The enter form is only to enter new collection results.

How to revert back the changes!

I am working on an object in AS, now someone made changes on it ( a task got created ).
Is it possible to revert back the changes other than modifying the object accordingly ?.

Hi Sudeep,
If u delete the task and transport the request then changes made will not be transported. But next time when someone does the changes and transports it , then the changes that you dont want currently will also come into picture..
So, it is a better solution to modify the changes accordingly.

Is there any api to modify the form field in PDF?

Our client need we provide the editable PDF, i.e. some form fields in the PDF report can be edit. Now we created the PDF template and merged it with the XML data definition in Jdeveloper, but when we get the final PDF report, we found that the PDF form field property is changed to "Read-Only" automatically. We make sure that in PDF template the form field is not "Read-Only", something happened when we merging the XML data and the PDF template.
Now we wonder if there is any API can help us to modify the PDF form field property, after we merge the XML data and PDF template, we can use it to change the form fields to editable, not "Read-Only".

Dynamically modifying the number of Form detail rows

Hi,
A challenge for you all!
I am building a product details system in Portal forms.
One of the screens is a Product Ingredients form with Product as the master block and ingredients as the Detail block. There can be between 1 and 20 ingredients in any 1 product and as these all have to sum to a volume percentage of 100% the client would like to see all ingredients for a product on 1 screen and not have to do Next/Previous to see them all.
As you increase detail rows on a master detail form the performance of the form decreases dramatically so I would like to minimise the number of detail rows displayed for each product to maximise performance.
To this end I wish to dynamically modify the number of detail rows displayed to match the number of ingredients on a product as that product is queried.
I can handle figuring out how many rows I want to set the page to but have not been able to figure out how to change the number of detail rows displayed at run time.
Anyone know how (or if!) this is possible ?

The rownum pseudo-column hold the number of the row but it doesn't work like you expect. It is assigned before sorting for example and it is not absolute. SQL conceptually deals with sets and sets have no inherent order. See http://www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/oracle/06-sep/o56asktom.html
If you want to have an absolute number in a row you will need to maintain it yourself with PLSQL code.
