i new in oracle discoverer and i need to change the sql query of a work sheet
it reads from a table (Response_Details) and i need to change the name to
fully (survey.Response_Details) i used import sql but it is not working

PrashanthThere seems to be a little confusion in the details mentioned.
First check on which folder, Business Area is the report based on. Then is that folder a Sql folder or a table/view ?
Then in the source you may have to change the code add outer joins etc., Not in the Discoverer Report.
From what I think is export/import does not work in this scenario. -

saving them as CSV will not give a fixed legth output but, as the naming says, a Character Separated Value file.

I have a Macbook Air. I have MS office installed and work in Excel often with no issues. But When I download an excel spread sheet from a Ford web site I seem to be getting code and not the work sheet.

How can I format a work sheet in Numbers so that the grid lines do not show?
Select the table in the left side sheet & table list.
Inspector Graphics > Line > None.
A faint line will show up when the table is selected but not when it isn't or when it is printed.

Hello.
I have a problem with my iweb.
When I open the program, the working sheet(canvas) has the html view in between all of the features.
I cant work on photos in more details(ones I click twice on a photo it opens html text) , cant see the slide show, and I guess there are more things Im not able to view or edit.
What to do?

Try the following:
1 - drag the iWeb icon from the dock.
2 - go to the Applications folder and drag iWeb back into the dock.
3 - go to your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.
4 - select the domain.sites2 file and type Command+i to bring up the Get Info window.
5 - in the Open with section make sure iWeb is the application that is showing as shown here:
6 - if iWeb is not the application showing use the drop down menu to find and select iWeb.
7 - click on the Change All button.

There is no mechanism for hiding a sheet in any version of Discoverer. I would have two workbooks, one containing the worksheets you want to be widely available and the other containing the restricted worksheets. You can then independently control who gets which one.

CharlyHi charly, your question is quite interesting, obviously using workbook options you can either set your workbook to an Input Schedule or Report.
If you need to submit data, then obviously the workbook option has to be Input Schedule.
assuming you are using EVDRE's which are updateable as long as the Current View permits and Input Schedule flag is set:
If you define 'report' loosely as an area of the excel workSHEET which is read only, then you can lock the cells of the report area and use excels protect worksheet function.
If you are using EV formulae to return data (such as evget, evsnd) then you can use the EVGET function to ensure data is only flowing one way.

I have set up a work status that requires that 3 of the statuses are available when I first access the Modify Work Status through eSubmit as a user. Currently when I run the Modify Work Status only the first 2 in the list are available. Only when I select the second one from the list and submit it, is the third one available for me to select from. Does anybody know how I can view more than 2 work statuses as an initial starting point for setting work status?
The EvLCK (Lock) function in BPC for Excel retrieves information about work status. You can build a Work Status report using this function.
