Modifying a form

Hi All,
There is an example named "SysForm" in the SDK example projects. If I need to make changes on a different form than the Order Form say, "Check Register". What change in the example should I do so that the add-on recognizes that "Check Register" is to be modified?
Please note that I tried by changing the value of "pVal.FormType" from 139 to 603 (the form Id of cheque register), but it did not succeed. The above value can be found under the procedure named SBO_Application_ItemEvent(ByVal FormUID As String, ByRef pVal As SAPbouiCOM.ItemEvent, ByRef BubbleEvent As Boolean)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you may have posted this to the wrong forum.

  • Is there any api to modify the form field in PDF?

    Hi,
    Our client need we provide the editable PDF, i.e. some form fields in the PDF report can be edit. Now we created the PDF template and merged it with the XML data definition in Jdeveloper, but when we get the final PDF report, we found that the PDF form field property is changed to "Read-Only" automatically. We make sure that in PDF template the form field is not "Read-Only", something happened when we merging the XML data and the PDF template.
    Now we wonder if there is any API can help us to modify the PDF form field property, after we merge the XML data and PDF template, we can use it to change the form fields to editable, not "Read-Only".

    Hi,
    What I need is to modify some form fields' property, I explore some web and found before I create the PDF file, I can set the security of the PDF:
    Properties prop = new Properties();
    prop.put("pdf-security","true");
    prop.put("pdf-open-password","welcome");
    So I wonder if there is one property related to the PDF form field.
    Thank you.

  • Error when modifying tabular form

    Hi
    In Apex 3, I created a tabular form based on the query below:
    select user_id /* PK */, name, dob
    from users
    It works perfectly well; I am able to update the name and dob fields.
    Then I changed the query to:
    select user_id /* PK */, name, null dob
    from users
    ...(i.e. not interested in the dob column anymore but want to keep the report column) and cleared the properties reference table owner/name/column name of the dob report column.
    However, when I try to update the name of a user, I get the error:
    Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: Error in MRU: row= 1,
    ORA-20001: ORA-20001: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process.
    current checksum = "7C3CD9C5DA0B5AF45AE616959020A0AA",
    item checksum = "6910D5C7015D84773A9E8F65299991F6".,
    update "SCHEMA"."USERS" set "USER_ID" = :b1, "NAME" = :b2, "DOB" = :b3Why is dob still being included in the update statement?
    Did I miss something?
    Thanks,
    Luis

    Since the DOB was one of the columns specified when you created the tabular form, the internal PL/SQL process that it uses for making updates is still trying to update that column. As you have now modified the underlying query for the form and are passing a NULL for your DOB, you will find that any update made using this form would set the DOB to NULL, so beware!
    Unfortunately, once you have created a tabular form, you cannot make changes to the process that it uses for manipulating data. Another drawback of the tabular form is that it uses the primary key of the table as a way of knowing which record it is updating when it processes the changes. As a result, you cannot modify the primary key value itself - and that is why you are getting the error.
    Generally speaking it is not a good idea to edit primary key values. If this piece of information does require editing, I would suggest you find another candidate for the primary key - perhaps a standard sequence-populated column that could act as a surrogate key?
    Cheers,
    Colin

  • Modifying Existing Form

    Is it possible to modify an existing form of SAP Business One? For example if one needs to put an extra button on the form of outgoing payments.
    Can anyone guide for the process.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello Afzal,
    It is definitely possible. Refer to SDK Help, samples are provided in it.

  • Modifying contact form

    I know how to get into edit mode for modifying the contact forms, but I can't figure out how to change the basic layout of the contact form.
    What I want to do is get rid of the whole upper right section where the photo and accompanying text go. Then I want to move a different section to that area, including adding new fields. Then rearrange the Notes area so it goes across the whole bottom of
    the contact card.
    I can't figure out how to remove sections or rearrange the layout of the contact card. Can it be done? If so, how?
    Also, from what I have found so far, it is not possible to change the layout of existing contacts. All you can do is create a new contact template for future contacts. The current ones cannot be modified or if they can, you have to do them one at a time.
    Is this also correct?
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,
    Would you please provide a screenshot and point out which parts of the contact form you want to modify? You can send the screenshot to us via sending a message to
    TN Office Information Collection  [email protected]
    In addition, when we edit the first page of the Outlook contact form, it will look like the old Outlook 2002 (and older) forms when published. Just like the below:
    Please tell us if this is want you want to achieve.
    Moreover, the custom contact form won't apply to existing contacts, you'll need to manually modify them one by one. Or, you can change them all at once by using macro. For macro assistance, I'd recommend you post a question in the Outlook for Developers
    forum:

  • Add/Delete/Modify Record form question

    I have a form set up in which I want the viewer to be able to
    select a job title from a list menu. From that selection, I want
    them to have the option to modify or delete that job selection or
    add a new job. WIth that I have a "Add Job" button, "Modify Job" or
    "Delete Job" button in the form for them to submit the form with.
    But how do I set it up so each button will submit to the
    appropriate page, (i.e the modify the selected job page, the delete
    the selected job page, or the create new job page"
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Okay-
    Maybe I need to take a step back or something, but here is
    what I now set up trying a slightly different approach:
    <cfif form.title GT 0>
    <cfif IsDefined("form.edit")>
    <cfinclude template="../Admincopy/UticaEditJob.cfm">
    <cfelseif isdefined("form.Delete")>
    <cfinclude template="../Admincopy/UticaDeleteJob.cfm">
    <cfelseif isdefined("form.Insert")>
    <cfinclude
    template="../Admincopy/UticaInsertPosting.cfm">
    </cfif>
    <cfelse>
    <cflocation url="UticaJobPostings.cfm?"> Please select
    a job to edit.
    <cfexit>
    </cfif>
    What I thought would happen is that if form.title had a
    value, it goes to the appropriate template. If it doesn't have a
    value, the page returns to the UticaJobPostings.cfm page which has
    the form field to select the posting.
    Initially, if I select a job listing, it will go to the
    appropriate template. If I don't choose a job listing, it still
    goes to the template with the missing value error.
    I am truly trying to figure this out and hate to keep posting
    you with this problem, but I am at my wits end here!!!
    Viewing what I have, what can I change???

    Hi,

    As I know a print program should be copied and assotiated with a form, but I don't know how.Please give an advice or show me an example.
    BR
    Stefan

    Go to transaction code SE71
    Go to menu option Utilities -->  Copy from Client
    enter standard form name and your target(custom) form name, usually we copy all the standard forms from client 000
    Execute.
    Go to SE71, and give your custom form name and do respective changes...
    Note: if you want to modify the window position make sure you modify in the original language or try to change original language to your local language.
    Close the thread once your question is answered.

  • Modify system form

    Hi all,
    I want to modify BP system form. The form title is in french="Fiche Partenaire"  but i want to have "Fiche consignataire" if i click on my add-on submenu. And also the static text "Name" to "Nom consignataire".
    Help me please.

    Hi,
    It is forbidden to change the system form. I think you can't change the form title.
    But you can change the label by press CTRL + Double Click on the label in SAP Business One.

  • Create/Modify another form's triggers

    How can we create modify an existing form trigger from another form? Eg, in FORM A, I want to create a PRE-BLOCK trigger on a certain block in FORM B before calling FORM B. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

    I want to control the firing of the trigger, ie, want it to fire only if FORM B is opened from FORM A.
    If this cannot be done, can we pass parameters into the trigger in FORM B and then do the checking using the input parameter?
    I guess another way is to use a flag in a user-defined table?
