Cursor position on screen data in module pool programming(urgent)
Hi all,
I developed a module pool program which will save the data after scanning the barcode data.
In my program screen 100 is there which contains field 2dbar. scanned data is comming to 2dbar field.
we r doing scan 4 times.once for vendor number,once for material no. like this.
After 1st scan, vendor number will come to field 2dbar.
Then I developed logic to put comma after each scanned data come to this field 2dbar.
MODULE put_comma INPUT.

By above logic, comma comes to the starting position of 2dbar after each scan. i.e cursor position is coming to the starting position of screen field 2dbar.
Now I need to move the cursor position after the comma position on 2dbar after each scan.

then my logic puts a comma when u put enter on screen 100.
now 2dbar contains
vmotorola,
i should get the cursor position after the comma.but i am getting cursor position before 'v'.so how to move this cursor position beyond comma after each scan.
I added set cursor command but it is not working.plz
What is the logic, I need to put in PAI to move the cursor on selection screen.
Already the logic I have mentioned. with that logic, I can put comma.now I need to add cursor movement logic to move the cursoron on screen field 2dbar.

Hi Friends..
I am working on a module pool program where I am using Z_BAPI_ADDREMPAU_CREATE and Z_BAPI_ADDREMPAU_CHANGE inside my Zmodule program. I have copied this these BAPIs from Standard BAPI. The reason I created this ZBAPIs because I have created a new fields on the screen in which when I press SAVE button ..these extra fields should also saved.
I am facing a different problem when I am debugging each line ..it is saving into database table( pa0006). But when I press SAVE ..it is going into short dump. I could not understand why this problem is coming. Either it is giving this dump problem or the BAPI is returning a complex application error has occurred

next u want any name of the program enter as,
Attribute type as find Module pool click it.
next u want any package and save and activate.
program name with create screen with any number then
click layout and u want any object and save , actived.
click flow logic , four types as PBO and PAI and POV, POH.
PBO---> Trigger is before screen.
its applied for display screen and inactive or no display screen only
PAI--->Trigger is after screen
when u want button then its processed.
POV--> Value requested for F4.
POH-->Help requested for F1.

Is there a user exit called when a module pool program is launch ?
Hello,
I know the exit 'EXIT_SAPLSABE_010' and it's very usefull for adding code before a report is launch.
But this exit is not called when a program is a "Module pool" type.
Is there a way to add my own code before this kind of program is launch ?

No it's not for initializing values. It's for logging statistics into a specific table (program name, date ...).
The event "load-of-program" can be use for one program, it's not what I'm looking for.

can u tell the coding and the wat plz ..Hey deepak i think you are very new to module pool programming but it is very difficutlt to explain step by step process but easyest programming.
do the following steps
1. Create a program in SE38 ex: prog name is ztest create the program as executable program
2. Write a code in that program like this.

3. Just save the program and activate it, and now go back to SE38 tcode.
4. Now goto SE51 transaction
5. give ztest in the program name and give screen number as 100 now press create button
6. give the short test and press the Layout button
7. In the there are some buttons in the left side in that press the second button Text field and now drag and drop in the flag screen give the name and text for that
8. and now press the third button from the top and grag and drop it now give the name as W_NO1
9. do the 7th and third steps for second number but give the name for the second field as w_NO2
10. save it activate it and press the Flowlogic button
11. Now uncomment the * MODULE USER_COMMAND_0100* and double click on that in the Main program and write the code in this.

Please follow the below steps to resolve your problem.
1 ) go to the screen painter
2) go to the Utilities->upload / download -> download
-- provide name to the file and save it in local drive.
3) in Sandbox create the program in se51 and go to the screen painter
4) Utilities->upload / download -> upload
-- choose the correct file name from the local drive.
5) rest of the Program coding you proceed to copy into flow login and driver program as well.
then save the program and activate

Dropdown list in module pool program
Hi,
I need to display a dropdown list for LFA1-LIFNR in my module pool program.
In the screen painter I have added an Input/Output field with name LFA1-LIFNR and corresponding to the Dropdown option I have selected Listbox. When I execute the program empty dropdown list is coming. It is not taking the values of LIFNR from the table LFA1. Please let me know the solution for this.

You have very well designed the drop-down box that is to be reflected in your program. The next thing for you to do is use any 1 method for populating the values i.e. using the function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST or VRM values. I prefer to use the the F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST as it is easy to use and understand. If you use the following function module then you need to call in a module under the flow logic of the screen i.e. PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST.
Let me just illustrate you with the syntax -

There is a very convenient way of debugging anything in SAP.In the SAP easy access screen choose the icon which denotes the 'Generated a Shortcut on the Desktop'.In the resulting window that appears choose the part where the 'Application' Details are present.Change the TYPE to SYSTEM COMMAND and enter the COMMAND as /H and give some title for e.g 'MYDEBUGGER'.Click on O.K and a shortcut will be placed on your desktop with the title that you have given.Anyplace and anywhere on the SAP screen if you wish to debug just drag the shortcut from ur desktop on to the screen.This is very helpful and would help u to understand the debugging process.
As far as your present scenario is considered put a breakpoint in the user-exit.If your user-exit is getting triggered then the breakpoint will automatically put you into the debugging screen.There is always a way to debug anything.Hope this helps.
