More than one VAT code on one line item?

Hello,
Running ECS SRM 5.0.
Is it absolutely impossible to set more than one VAT code on one order line in a SC or PO?
Can this be acomplished by using a user exit or anything?
This demand comes from a public sector company which pays different VAT dependent on what they use as account assignment. In some orders when split account assignment is used, it might be two different VAT codes on the same line.

Which SRM version are you using ?
As far as i know, this is standard SRM functionality as it not feasible to have multiple VAT codes against one line item.. This is not possible .. Please confirm the same with SAP by creating a Customer OSS message.. Do let me know...
However this is possible by making the code as per your business requirments using BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.. However, since i have not tried this.. You need to try this yourself..

    you almost reached my point.
    My client says that he will maintain more than 1 company code for the reference customer. while replication it should pick the appropriate company code from the sales organization.
    for example I'm replicating customer for US (IGUS) it should pick company code (IGUS) from reference customer.
    if I create for India(IGIN) the company code should be (IGIN).
    in the function module SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL the reference customer comapny code details are fetched from the data base KNB1 and populated to Internal table.
    if the company codes are more than one all the badi's are triggered only once for the 1st loop. i.e., for the first company code. so, this is causing problem to override custom values.
    hope you understood my exact problem...
    please guide me in this regard.

  • Intercompany transactions with more than two company codes

    Hi fellow members,
    We have a requirement for intercompany transactions with more than 2 company codes. The sales order is booked in company code A and goods are despatched from plant that belongs to company code B. However, we need the inter-company invoice to be posted between company code B and an intermediary company code C. The second inter-company invoice is to be posted between company code C and company code A.
    There could be more than one intermediary involved based on the company code in which the sales order is booked and the company code of the delivering plant. Would appreciate inputs from the forum of how this could be achieved in ECC.

    In standard only 8 level of release is possible for a release strategy.  Our client requires more than 8 levels i.e., more than 8 release codes for a release strategy.  How can we achieve this?

    In case you require more than 8 levels in release strategy , write to SAP, maybe they could give a fitting reply.
    By the way , 8 levels of release should be more than enough . Try to incorporate the client business process

    is there a easy method available to copy one company code (existing one) into several target company codes (new ones). The SAP standard functionality does not support this task.

    Hi,
    Copy company codes can be done in two ways.
    1. To copy basic data i.e, through transaction ox02
    2. To copy company code relevant parameters (global) & GL accounts through EC01.
    If your option is point 1. then the best thing i suggest is go for transaction scat and create a test case and record the transaction ox02.Then afte that download the variant and fill the necessary fields accordingly and try to upload.

    It means we can post only one invoice at time i.e.for line item same taxcode is there.
    e.g. If line item 10 has tax code A1, 20 has A2 then on header i can only select either A1 or A2 tax code & post invoice of that line item.

  • Substitutions field Tax Code MWSKZ in Line Item

    I need to do substitution for field Tax Code MWSKZ at line item when doing FI posting. However, I cannot find this subtitution field in OBBH Boolean class 009.
    How can I solve this? Is there any BADI or user exit that serve the same purpose?
    It's kind of urgent as I tried to find the solution for few days but I couldn't get any.

    goto gs01 transaction,give some name to ur step.
    give the table name and field name.
    then u can create a specific value set for that field.
    save.
    now u can use this set to define conditions for ur fields in obbh transaction.

  • More than Non-cumulative cubes in one MultiProvider

    Hi There,
    I have got two non cumulative cubes and want to build a MultiProvider on them.
    Got information at couple of places on help.sap.com at one place it says MultiProvider can have more than one non-cumulative cubes at other place it says it can't. What is the right suggestion?

    Hi,
    From the performance perspective you should not use more than one Non Cumulative Infocube in a Multi Provider. If you user more than one the query will not execute parallel and execute in sequential which leads to delay in query run time.
    This is a recommendation from SAP not to use morethan one Non Cumulative Cubes in a MP.

  • Suddenly I can't send to more than about 25 people in one email. I used to be able to send to 100+, no problem. What happened?

    For years I have sent an email to all teams in my cricket club by simply adding each separate group list to the 'cc' or 'bcc' list and pressing send, thus sending the same mail to 100+ people simultaneously, no problem. Suddenly the system says I am trying to send it to 'too many recipients'. I even had to split some of the group lists in to two separate group lists because it seems that the maximum number of people I can send one email to is now about 20 people. This is a problem especially that sometimes players would comment on the email and wish to include everybody in the club, so would use the 'reply all' function. Now they can only reply to those on the same email list as them, which sometimes isn't even all of their own team...
    Club leaders are on more than one of the team lists, so some people now have to receive the same email in their inbox up to 5 times due to this problem.
    There were no changes at all made to anything else with my system: same server, same computer, same emails, same everything. It just happened one day to the next.

    Any limit is imposed by whatever SMTP server you use. So talk to your email provider.
    With that number of recipients it would probably be a good idea to look for a mailing list service.

  • Can't get more than 1 email on the send line[turns red].

    Greetings and Thanks for your time, only been using Mozilla for 2 mos.[ex outlook express user]. I want to forward an email, the address comes in nicely, now I want to include another address, as soon as I enter the 2nd address the first turns red and my second address does not enter, only the first letter shows up so I quit and don't send any. I need help, my forward mail is growing. Thanks, Frosty.

    Whilst you can enter an email address then add a comma and then a space and then enter another emails address - this is long winded and needs you to be very accurate with the commas etc etc. It's also not very easy to locate one email address and modify or delete.
    Thunderbird makes it easy - One line. one email address.
    It is so much easier to put one email address on one TO/Cc/Bcc field.
    So after entering one email address press Enter.
    If the contacts are in your address book then you may find it easy to use the Contacts Sidebar.
    In a new Write message window
    'View' > select: 'Contacts Sidebar'
    you can also toggle the view using '''f9''' key
    Select address book
    select contact(s)
    click on 'Addto TO' button or other options.
    You can also double click on a contact listed to enter it quick in a TO field or use drag and drop method.

  • Problem in fetching the code for the line item

    Hi,
    I am working on a report in which to display the values corresponding to the line item of a PO.
    For, ex, if there are 3 line items 10,140,150 and their condition values such zing,zgrd,zbrd are the condition types consist of different values depending on the line item i.e. 10,140,150.
    My problem is when i execute the code the data of 1st line item is correctly fetched but the rest 2 line item data is pasted as it is. only the main pricre changes and the code for zing,zbrd,zgrd remains same as it is in the first line item 10.
    plzz proivde me guide lines how to solve this problem.

             Here is requirement for enhancement in Sales order. For determining tax following logic is requird to modify jursidiction code of ship-to party at line item level.
    after entering header details and line item, then user exit should be there(which user exit??) and i need to compare countries of Ship-from(Plant i believe) and Ship-to party(customer) if country is same, then jursidiction code of Ship-to party at line item level should be changed with value from Jursidiction code of Ship-from party(plant this value will come from <b>T001W</b>) table. this should happen before save(while entering line items, user may go and check jursidiction code change)
    what i need here is which user exit is triggerd ater line item entry, and how to change jursidiction value( i believe we need XVBAP, XVBPA, might be XADRC(Jursidiction code) . if some one provide user exit and logic with structure details then it would be of great help.
