Most of the songs in my library now cannot be found, most are imports from cd's but some are purchased. Can anyone help me?

I have checked the store and made sure that I am authorized. I just don't understand. I havent changed anything on my computer exept for updating to the latest version of iTunes.... Help!

You will always find somebody else having a problem they think is the same, but is it really? Then too, do you want people saying, "Yes, I have the same problem what do I do?" but no answers. Furthermore if this was a major issue there would be tens of thousands of posts here about this rather than one or two per month.
Did you do a backup of your computer before installing new software as is always a good idea?
Purchases you may be able to download a second time.

Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

HT200274 Most of my contacts are not available. I see numbers in favorites and recent calls. Most are deleted from contact log but some are still there. I can type in the name and it brings it up. How do I restore phone.

Most of my contacts are gone. My favorites and call log show numbers but no names. It did not remove all contacts but most of them. I can type in the name and it comes up but is it not listed in my contacts.

Within Contacts, tap Groups at top left. Make sure all contact groups are checked to show, then tap "Done" at top right.

ITunes 8.2.1.6 will not play most of the songs in my library

Since downloading iTunes 8.2.1.6 most of the songs in my library will not play on my computer. I am afraid to update my iPod for that reason. It is not album specific or iTunes purchased/cd ripped/ or internet downloaded specific either. Has affected songs in all categories. When I right click on "Info" of these songs I have found that they are recognised as AAC audio files - but "Profile", "Channel" & "Encoded by" headings & information is absent. Songs are present on my hard drive & do not appear to be any different than other songs on the same albums added at the same time & which do play in iTunes !!
My Library holds over 300 GB's of songs & I guess over 80% are affected .. Any help or suggestions to solve this major problem would be much appreciated ..

iTunes refuses to play/read file, it cannot recognizes headers, or recognizes those as corrupt, but giving no error messages. The problem is the stored artwork(s) on your music files. To correct this, select the files that are corrupted/cannot be played on iTunes&iPod, click "Convert ID3 Tags...", then select v1.1 from the dropdown box (first, try this on a few to see that my solution is working).
By doing so, iTunes replaces headers, but your ID3 tags will not be changed (I assume you are using ID3 v2.4), nor you'll lose any info or anything else. This works as a hotfix for those files. If you try to replace headers via another program, your information will be truncated, and any artwork stored will be deleted. So I recommend this one.
You'll see that iTunes cannot play most of the files that has artwork(s) stored in them. New version hasn't fixed this problem, and it has risen with iTunes 8.2.x. If it's going to take long, I suggest you should go back to 8.1.x.

Your songs will only be where you put them.
Did you copy them from the old drive or your backup copy of the old drive, to the new one?

The 5D Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw 5.2 which is compatible with CS4+.
The 5D Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 and 7.1 which is only compatible with CS5 and CS6.
So the CS4 will never be able to open Raw 5D Mark III files.

Well you need to add the email account back to get the calendar entries. Transfer them to another email provider. Then delete the account you don't want.

Have you recently reinstalled your OS from an older DVD or backup or ued your Library from a different System? Try to update to the newest Version of iTunes (it should be 10.4.1) from the Apple Menu -> Software Update.
That should resolve that problem.

You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
