Mouse down shows small text

I have been having a hard time figuring out where to fix this mouse down problem. On this new site magbacker.com, when you click the left navigation text the text gets smaller. I have a separate css style sheet called "sprymenubarvertical2.css" and a overall site css style sheet called "magbacker.css". I also have a few internal css styles on each page for specail design elements. The font size of the left navigation is 17px and on some of the pages it goes smaller when you click or mouse down on the text. Some page it stays the same which is what I want. I don't want the text to change when clicking it or doing a mouse down. I can post the css code here if necessary but you savy css coders should be able to see it based on veiwing the source code on the site.
I'm working on the site as you read this due to a tight deadline so some things maybe changed.
Any help on this seemingly simple fix would be most apprecaited.

In each page you have embedded styles. Change this -
a:active {
     text-decoration: none;
     font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
     font-size: 10px;
     color: #00F;
to this -

     font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
     color: #00F;
By the way, while browsing to one of those pages, increase the text size in your browser a few times and you'll see why we plead with people NOT to use absolute positioning as a layout tool.

SG tutorial MP4 videos wont load. jpeg seq will only show on mouse down

Hello,
just got the SG trial installed yesterday : 2014.1 build: 8.1x128
The footage (MP4) in the first tutorial project works fine in PremPro CC & AE CC but wont load in SG.
After rendering it to a sequence (jpg,png,tga) the footage will appear in the window 'only' on mouse down or in full screen mode (again on mouse down).
Win 7 64 SP 1
I5 -2400 @3.1GZH
RAM 4GB
Onboard intel HD 2000
Appreciate any help on this.

Mouse down help

Im trying to create a program so that when the next button is pressed, the gui then reads the next line on my excel sheet for the standard. Im having trouble with the mouse my down functioin for this.

Your VI is full of race conditions and very convoluted code.
To get one row of a 2D array, reshaping it to a 1D array with the lenght of one row seems pointless. All you need is "index array" with one index disconnected.
You have a case structure with the same property nodes in all case frames, thus they belong after the case, only on instance needed each.
There are plenty of potential race conditions. For example the boolean "standard" is read (via value property) and written in parallel elsewhere to the terminal.
How do you know what happens first?
Getting a scalar from an array does not need a detour via dynamic data ("Numeric", after the small FOR loop). try
index array"
In the "next: mouse down" event, all you need in the second frame is the "menu" local variable. wire it to the output if the +1 from the previous frame.

Mouse down event reading a string terminal trick

Hi,
I wondered why I was getting frustrated entering a pasword that was verified in the mouse down event of the OK button. This is becuase when you click the OK button the entered text is still in the buffer and not copied to the terminal. (Which is more natural than clicking somewhere on the FP first). Note pressing enter or tab gets the string control out of enter text mode.
Turns out need update value while typing turned on if you want to gaurantee a correct read of a text input control in a mouse down event. As this is one of those not obvious but sometimes happens bugs... I have posted for reference for others :-)

Mouse Down event will preceed a Value Change event, if you have both the event cases configured in your code.

Page designer show small view when using page template and cannot be run

Dear Experts,
I need to make some page templates.
I have build 2 simple page templates, let say template0 & template1 which template1 using template0.
It show no any problem until I close my Jdeveloper & reopen it.
When I reopen template1, it show so small in designer (Jdeveloper window).
Is there any wrong?
I have build another template, just 1 template.
When I used it at the first time, no any strange behavior occur.
After ... (I don't exactly when), it give me the same view in my designer.
Then I force to use my first tempate (template1 which used template0 inside), I cannot run my application at all.
After wait several minutes, I found error log in my log messages.
*#### Server Instance DefaultServer could not be started: Server Instance was terminated.*
Above the message, I found another error messages:

I use AHM000 inside AHM001. I use this approach to build many template based on one basic design.
Actually, I don't think the problem is in page template usage because as I submitted paralel to Metalink, I've already not called template0 in template1 but I copy template0's contents to template1.
Unfortunately, page designer show small view and below error messages still occured.

Why is the small text blurry on photoshop?

why is the small text blurry on photoshop? i am **** a very small advert for a newspaper! and the text is printing blurry and when zoomed in is appearing all blurry? how do i stop this i only have photoshop and indesign

Indesign is definitely the preferable tool for the task at hand, but claiming Photoshop cannot output type except pixelated was not proper.
I think in a forum we should not support the use of wrong tools but we have to show the best way to do things correct.
And there are also problems which cannot avoided with higher knowledge like coloured black (not in this ad). Yes, you an me we are capable to shift around the known problems with ads created in Photoshop, but others don't know these problems and will crash.

How do I place an image and insert a different photo for the "mouse down" state?

I have placed an image within an accordian widget and when I select the "mouse down" area in the states dialog box, i click "fill" in the toolbar and insert the photo i want to display when the image is clicked but this image is "covered up" by the originally placed image and is not seen in my states dialog box.
I have done this before when i made rectangles and placed images in rectangles. But i soon realized that you cannot add alternative text to images in rectangles for some frustrating reason.
How do I place and image and have a different image for the mouse down state?

This effect can only be achieved when you use the images as a Rectangle Fill. And as you mentioned it above, you cannot add alternative text to images because it is added as a fill and not as a image.

IWork won't allow small text to be antialiased in PDFs

Are there any PDF / iWork / OS X experts out there who can please help with this one?
I have three documents which were to be printed as A5 booklets. As a result I formatted them on A5 pages using small text (7 and 8 point). I know this sounds small but they look fine printed out and the photocopier does a a great job of making the 30 page booklets.
The problem I have is when I export to PDF for use of the documents on screen the 7 and 8 pt text is not antialiased, no matter what zoom setting is used to view the documents. 9 pt text seems to be the smallest text that is antialiased in OS X but at least in Pages when you zoom in the smoothing effect is applied for easy on-screen reading and editing. However, in Preview (or Quicklook) any sub-9 pt text looks awful at every zoom setting even though I have Preview set to 'smooth text and line art'.
The only potential workaround seems to be increasing the page size and scale in 'page setup…' in Pages but because the document is quite complex this leads to a lot of layout errors. I realise now I should have started with a larger page, reducing the scale when printing.
(Just to make things more confusing, Textedit shows unsmoothed sub-9 pt text at every zoom setting but DOES export PDFs with antialiased sub-9 pt text.)
Can anyone see another workaround? Thanks!

Thanks again everyone. It is possible my original issue has become lost with these super-close-ups! Yvan seems to have noticed what I have, so even though his text is huge (and therefore very smooth), you can see that Preview isn't anti-aliasing the text. My problem is viewing the text at relatively small sizes. My 7 and 8 point text end up looking like this in Preview:
If I scale the text up (by altering the page size and scale in Pages > Page setup) then the text looks less jaggy in Preview. Unfortunately this process messes up my formatting throughout the document. These screen grabs were taken while the PDFs were the same size on the screen:
Just to emphasise my point, here is the effect of toggling the 'smooth text and line art' setting in Preview. 7 and 8 point text from Pages is never anti-aliased for me!

Mouse down event handling of table control in subvi

Hello Everyone.......
I have created a vi which has a table control and xy graph... the function of the vi is to plot the data of two particular column of table into xy-graph after user selects the data from table.... In this vi , I have used mouse down event for selecting data set so that the color of selected row get changed for user reference....... the vi is working fine.....
My problem is that this vi is a part of main vi.. and I want to use this vi as a subvi.... So, in my main vi I have a table control which is connected as input to the subvi... I come to know that I need to register event for triggering a event in a subvi.......
(1) How to register Mouse down event of table control which is on Main Vi to trigger mouse down event of table in subvi.... Another Important thing is... how to link every property of table control of subvi to the table control of main vi... so it just act as single control adapting every property like when user selects a particular row its color changes in subvi....so it should be reflected even if user selects a row in main vi... I mean table control of main vi and subvi should be a single control...is it possible?

See the modified version of the VI. I use the 'Point to Row Column' method to get the cell that was clicked on - your method also worked using 'Selection Start' but I thought I'd show you an alternative.
I've used a single event structure to update two table controls - the point is that if you have the references to the controls you can update the control from anywhere. You can also 'register for events' to allow you to register for events from a different VI (again, using the references) that doesn't have the control on the front panel.
Couple of things about your VI:
You don't need to put a wait node if you have a timeout on your event structure.
You don't need the for loop for the columns/rows - if you look at the help for the 'Active Cell' property you can use a value of -2 for the row/column to select all cells in the row/column.

My first guess is the same as yours, which is a "zoom" issue. Holding down the Command key and pressing 0 (zero) should reset the zoom level of the current site to the standard level. Is that still too small?
Regarding content overlapping, this can occur for a few different reasons. Please check on these:
(1) "Text Only" zoom
If View menu > Zoom > Zoom Text Only has a checkmark, click it again to unselect it.
(2) Manually setting font sizes
In the Preferences dialog (either the "3-bar" menu button or the Firefox menu) > Content > "Advanced" button
If the Minimum font size is set to a number larger than 9, change it to 9 or None. A large minimum font size often will wreck the layout.
At the top, there is "Fonts for" drop-down that usually will say Latin or Other Writing Systems. You will want to make the same change for both of those, so select whichever one isn't currently displayed.
Finally, make sure the checkbox for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" is checked and OK out of the dialog.

Mouse Pointer shows "Edit Cursor" "|" where it should be a arrow (pointer)

I have noticed that at times the mouse pointer shows a Edit cursor when it should be
a standard mouse arrow.
This happens when a leave one application and navigate to another application.
I am able to use the "|" cursor to click, but it seems rather odd.
I would really like to know if someone else has noticed this?

Are you using Fast User Switching (FUS)? Are you running an application that keeps a window always on top?
I have encountered a reproducible problem which causes the mouse pointer to fail to revert to the default arrow. I do not know if it is a general OS X issue, or caused by this specific app only (I just reported the problem to the app vendor, will report back on the resolution).
In my case, if user "A" is running a program that has an "always on top" window, and that application has the "focus", and I then use FUS to switch to any other user, the mouse pointer for that user will "stick" in its most recent variation - be it a pointing finger (for a link), an edit cursor, a window resize cursor, etc. If you move from a link for example to a text box, the cursor will change to the new form, but it will not revert to the default arrow. To "solve" the problem, do this:
before using FUS to change to another user, click on another application (e.g. the Finder), so that the problem application does not have the "focus". Does any of this relate to your problem?

PDA Mouse Down Event on Picture Control

While using the Mouse Down Event on the Picture Control for LabVIEW 7.1 PocketPC PDA, I want to get the xy coordinates on where the user tapped on the pict control. Any ideas or workarounds?

What do you mean by �outputting individual horizontal and vertical components�?
In the LabVIEW PDA module (and this applies to PocketPC and PalmOS), clusters will not show up in the PDA�s screen. You can use clusters to group controls/indicators but when there is need of sending a new value/showing the value in the screen, the bundle and unbundled functions have to be used, so that you can have individual controls/indicators to pass a new value/see the value, respectively.
So, from the Coords terminal in a Mouse Down/Up event, you need to unbundle the cluster and create individual indicators for each, the horizontal and vertical position.
I am attaching an example to show you what I mean. For PalmOS, the same applies.

Mouse down event

Is there anyway I can keep the control properties as shown in the image attached if I add another event to the same event structure case?
I currently have an event structure case configured to execute on a mousedown event on a multi column listbox and would like to add a dynamic event to this case also yet keeping hold on the properties show in the image attached..

Mouse Down Timing

Can I caputure the mouse down timing in flex ? If the user hold the mouse down for 30 milli seconds i have to fire an event. Please show me some pointers to implement this feature.

Create a global variable and on mouse down store the current time.
Also on mouse down, create a Timer object and let it fire each 250 milliseconds. It should check the current time against the stored time above.
In a mouse up handler reset the current time variable.
If you hit 30 seconds in the timer checking the time, do whatever you wish.
