Moving a table to the top of the page?

hey there,
hi, i'm a newbie. i created a table in a html page. i want to
make the table bump up against the very top of the page/browser,
but can't figure out how to get it up there. right now, it's
floating in the middle of the page, and there's about a 1/4 inch
space between the top of the table and the bottom of the
dreamweaver or internet explorer browser. I want to close that
up...how?

Putting Moving Instruction text to the page footer can be accomplished by using RawTextbean. In that u can use html code which makes the text move.

Expanding text fields not moving next fields down the page

I have a multi-page form with several comment boxes that I want to be expandable (if needed). I've managed to get them to expand, but the fields following the field that is expanding dynamically are not bumping down the page. I've gone through and read about different things to try and use (flowed, western, expand to fit, etc), but the fields following the expanding fields are not moving.
I can send the form I am using to anyone who has a suggestion. I am confused with the hierarchy and where stuff needs to go in order to work correctly.

Hi, it is highly recommended that you create subforms in your form. By creating parts in your form you should create subforms for each of those parts. For the textfield you are trying to make it expandable and flowable to the next page, you must make every of its parents flowed. Your main page is actually set to positioned, even if your subform containing the textfield is flowed, if each of its parents are set to flowed it should work, otherwise it will not flow to next page.
If you set your page to flowed, it will reposition each of your fields because it is not in subforms. Make sure to create subforms for each parts, putting all fields in subforms. If you set your main page to flowed without creating subforms, all of your fields will be redesigned to be aligned left with the hierarchy order.

Which table stores the pages?

I would like to create an LOV that has the pageids in the application as a return value, and their titles as the display values. I am creating a function in which users can edit and store their favorites, which are displayed on the right of their screen.
Does anyone know in which view or table I can find the pages?

Just a word of counsel - Scott's statement of "That data is not publicly exposed at this time" has implications.
The schema name for HTML DB will change from release to release (the next version won't be FLOWS_010600). As well, you must have provided some grant on this table to your application parsing user. So upon upgrade, your application will break and you will need to fix it. But more importantly, information not publicly exposed is subject to change.

The answer depends on whether your table is Inline or Floating.
If Inline, the Wrap Inspector gives your three options: Left, Center, or Right justified. See the icons on the right, below the Wrap checkbox.
If Floating, and if you have the alignment guides selected in Pages Preferences, just drag the table until the blue guideline appears in the center of the document and drop the table there.

You can try using the Object edit tool. The steps you are taking or normally done in the creation application, not in Acrobat that does not do such activities well.

Moving mm_menu javascript off the page

Is there some way that I can move the script for my DW pop up
menu off the page and into an external .js file that I can link to?

Copy it, paste it into a new file, then link to it.
All that said, the DW pop-up menus are horrendous. Don't use
them.
Instead, if you MUST use fly-out navigation, consider one of
these options

It's not the amount of javascript that will cause you
problems, it's the
inaccessibility of the menus. They are simply very poorly
written menus.
Disable javascript in your browser and see how far you can
navigate the site

Just recently this problem started - while I'm moving my mouse around the page that I'm looking at or scrolling around OPENS into a NEW WINDOW. It happens very frequently and is quite annoying. Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be a pattern to the mouse movement. It just happens when I move the mouse around. It opens the page up in a new window in front of the other tabs that I've been working on. It happens at least every two minutes.

Make sure that you do not drag a tab in the browser window.<br />
Firefox 3.5 versions and later have a feature called tear-off tabs.<br />
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.<br />
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.

Moving Beyond Tables-.Understanding the DIV :)-

Hello,
Unfortunately I was taught Dreamweaver sorta backwards and have always used tables for layout. The advantage has always been a grid layout where you can move things by sliding the guides around. It works most of the time, but I am determined to move beyond it.
I admit my Dreamweaver skills are fair at best, and appreciate any input…. please be kind

I Finally resolved my problem after much research. On my I pad 4 with retina in the field under settings there is a list to choose from-- ex. Aol,Google, yahoo, etc. I chose other and entered att. Used pw and bingo! Problem resolved. It is somewhat configured a little different; but at least I can get all of my 500 e mails.
apple takes IMAP but this is under pop And at least my persistence paid off. You would think something so simple would be informative to us in a better way.

JSF and Database tables in the pages...

Hi guys,
I am following this excellent tutorial http://www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/oracle/06-jan/o16jsf.html as I am learning JSF using JDeveloper. Unfortunately since my knowledge of JDeveloper and JSF being rather limited, there is one section in the tutorial that I am unable to understand. If you do a search on that web page and type in 'column1' without the quotes, I am unable to understand where the author got that object from.
Barring that I also had another question. I just saw a demo video of Netbeans taking the Entity beans generated from the database tables and creating JSF pages based on the tables with one click that showed the data very nicely in a table format in the jsp page. Is there some sort of functionality like that? Or is that JEE 5 specific? Also is JDeveloper JEE 5 compliant as of yet?

Before I make an even bigger fool of myself in this forum, the tutorial has 2 parts. Does part 2 depend on part 1 to get it working right because I feel as if I am missing something.
Also it seems that for however many columns we are able to retrieve from our ResultSet we should know beforehand so we can code up the DataTable. This might not be the case all the time I guess, so is that where the JSF support in the ADF framework comes in and makes life a lot easier for the developer?

time taken for too long will be query in your vo. dont make it complex.
and iterator range size. immediate option ,content delevery options, enoumous amount of records

I have three home tabs and on some occasions if I open one of them and start to browse it I can't return to the top page. It doesn't always happen and it can happen on any of them. It made using apps impossible and the only way to correct the situation is to hit the home key and close the incorrect tabs

It's also possible your session history file is not updating correctly, because you should not be thrown back to an earlier state in a tab.
By default, Firefox updates the sessionstore.js file every 15 seconds with any changes. But occasionally Firefox may stop updating the file or may find that the file is locked and start creating a different sessionstore file (which is never restored and just sites orphaned in your profile folder).
Could you take a look?
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
* (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button.
In the window that launches, switch the view to Details and scroll down to the sessionstore files. You may find:

* sessionstore.bak-''datetime'' (windows and tabs at your last update)

Fillable form auto-indents itself off the page

If I move a graphic in a fillable form, the moment I release the mouse button, the entire form shifts about 1 inch to the right. Now the right side of my form is cut off when printing. I am afraid to touch anything because Adobe Designer seems to pick and choose which graphics can and cannot be moved.

I had the same problem, and realised that I had crop/registration marks outside the top left of the page as the PDF came from InDesign, and the designer produced the PDF for the printing press. whenever I moved any element on the page, the whole form moved right and down about 1 inch as well.
I removed the crop/registration marks from the original PDF, then imported it again and had no trouble after that.
