Moving Fields from left panel to right panel

Hello All
I am involved in configuring web ui screens. I want to actually move captions and fields from left panel ( Colums A-H) to Right Panel ( Colums I-P). When I go into field properties, it;s not giving me the option to enter colums from right panel.
Or show me how to do this

Hi,
Please follow below steps:
1. Go to config tab
2. Choose the right config.
3. Go to edit mode.
4, Display available fields.
5. you can see two blocks now. One with available fields and other with your displayed fields.
6. In your displayed fields block you can see two buttons in top left corner (right above A column). One with plus sign and other with minus. Similarly you can see two buttons on top right corner( right above P column) of your displayed fields block.
7. select a field you want to move from displayed columns by clicking on it. Click on minus button on top( the one above A). Now this field would be moved to available fields under its context node. Locate the field there.
8.Select the field on Available fields block and then click on 'plus' button on right side( one above P).
Your field would be moved to Right side.
Also you can click on a field and click on show properties button and directly mention the column where you want this field to appear( Make sure you are edit mode so that you can change the column names). Also while doing this please make sure the columns you are entering are not occupied by other field.

Anchor in Safari is not working from left to the right (visa versa) other browsers are working corectly with this!

Hi,
The Safari anchor problem is back! But now for using an anchor from the left to the right and visa versa (it is for a website design).
Apple solved the problem for using the anchor from the top to bottom and bottom to top but NOT from the left to the right and right to the left.
I test it in several browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE8, even in IE7 is it working ;-) but not The Safari of the Big Apple!!!

I put a little script in it so it is going smooth to the right and left. It is also not working without the script, so that is not the problem.
You can test it in: Firefox, IE8, IE7, Chrome, Opera etc. But Safiri is it not working!
So can somebody help me? I tried the max-height, max-width, with and without overflow-x hidden, etc etc. but it is still not working in Safari.

Formatting Spry Tabs to start from left to to right

I'm currently working for Arabic version of a webpage, the menus and other contents should start from right to left. Does anyone who know how to set the Spry Tabs to start the tabs from left to right?

Moving field from Customer tab to Deatils Tab

Hi,
We have requirement to move the field added using EEWB to details Tab in Lead transaction.Using EEWB I have included field in lead transaction.EEWB gegeration was successful and I am bale to see the field under Customer Fields Tab, however according to my business case we need the field under Details TAB.
Is there any way we can move field from Customer Fields to Details tab.

i am able to upload problem and solutions , but how can i change default attributes,
when i try to configure in SPRO, in problem type , problem subtype, it is showing error " entry in TOKBC doesn't exist "
who will do that , is this table update is by abaper or CRM guy ,
i mean it is asking delault number in ABAP table.
is it necessary to config the fields,

Moving show/hide (+/-) icon from left end to right end in panelbox

HI,
Could anyone please suggest how to move the +/- icon in the panel box tabs aligned left to the panelbox title to the right end of the panelbox.
I want as below :
Currently :

I don't see an option for this. The popup header is rendered as a table with 3 cells. Even CSS (e.g. float:right) would change this

Moving images from properties panel.

hello forumers.
i was doing a tutorial where the intrsuctor uses css style to move and repostision images around the template doing all the padding etc etc.
but cos im a bit slacky to css and new to dw,i used the properties panel to distance my images (v space) vercitly and (h space)horizontly,i found it much faster to do.
if that wrong to use?will my code be burden in any way?

It may be faster, but (1) you need an understanding of both html and css to create good pages with DW and (2) with css you have the control to add padding selectively (on left or right) and not both at the same time. Using the H Space you do get distance between the image and the text but you also get space between the image and the margin. This can look rather sloppy.

Moving canvas3d from one panel to another panel is causing problems

Hi,
I'm new to java3d and at present struggling to find a solution for the following problem:
In my application there are 4 canvas3ds and there are no relation between them except they all share the same screen3d. added in a Jpanel using grid layout(2,2). all have different universe. when user double click s any one of them the clicked canvas is supposed to get maximized and again doing the same restores everything before double click.
What i'm doing is using card layout adding two panels one for normal view(4 at a time) and one for maximized view. The first one uses grid and the other one uses border.
In case of maiximizing i just remove the one that's clicked from the former jpanel and add it to the other panel.But some times it garbles the screen in a way such that on rotating any node or element moves other nodes that are not supposed to be.
Any suggestions???

well you should have posted in java3d forum, but at this point i'd say post code so we can see what you mean by "garbles"

Mail crashing when adding addresses to BCC field from address panel

Problem #2 since upgrading to Snow Leopard:
if i select more than a few names in adds panel and hit the BCC button to add them to the email i am about to send the App just quites. Is this what Apple refers to as a refined, finely tuned upgrade? I just wasted $30 on a finely crafted turd! Now i've got to dig up that old leopard DVD and restore back to 10.5.8. I hope i can find it b'cuz this is NOT working for me.

No Plaxo installed -- stock install and apps, nothing fancy or 3rd party, per se.
I crash Mail MANY times a day, because of this bug -- am considering downgrading to Leopard, as I rely on Mail to function without crashing, and without the resulting annoyance and hassle.

Moving fields from one location to another location?

I hv developed my_form, having couple of subforms, fields.
They decided to change the layout drastically, pls. let me know How I can MOVE fields as a BUNCH from one location to another location on a DIFFERENT page?
Say, earlier i hv 5 fields together, side by side on a same line/row wrapped in my_sub_form on 2nd page. Now, after they revising they want to see these 5 fields of the my_sub_form on 3rd page, pls. let me,
1) How can i move these 5 fields ALL TOGETHER as a bunch to another location, so that it meakes my life easy? instaed of moving a single single field.
2) or i should move my_sub_form AS A WHOLE? i tried it not giving me a chance of moving as a my_sub_form?
3) Pls. let me know what is Object Tool? where can i see on the form, i did RIGHT CLICK, but, did not see any such Object Tool on the displayed sontext menu?

Hi,
Best option would be to select the objects in the hierarchy and then drag them in the hierarchy to the new location. For example if you drag them over a page and release, Designer will place the objects at the end of that page's content.

Can I change the position of change bars from left margin to right margin?

I want to display the change bars in right page margin. If the page is odd page,The change bars position is in left page margin. If the page is even page,The change bars position is in right page margin.

The global properties for Change bars are found in the Format > Document > Change Bars... menu option (or <esc> o b keyboard shortcut).
The property that you need to change is Position:
Depending upon which of the right or left margins is larger, you'll need to set this to "Side Closer to Page Edge" or "Side Farther..." to position the bars to the outside edges of the respective pages. If you have a symmetric layout, then "Closer" places on the left side (of all pages) and "Farther" places on the right.
However, if you have multiple columns, the change bars will appear between the columns and will shift depending upon which page edge is closer, i.e. the middle columns may be left or right on any given page.

Opening Videos from Left Menu Requires Right Click

I have multiple Windows 7 computers with iTunes installed. I have noticed that whan trying to open videos from the left menu, the only way to get it working is to wight click on the mouse, left clicking does not work. Does anyone know anything about this and how to resolve it?

I encountered the same problem. A quicker workaround then restarting firefox is to just minimize and maximize. Don't know why but that works.

How to drag image in left panel then drop into right panel??

Dear friends.

I tried few days to drag image from left panel then drop into right panel or vice versa, but not success, can any GUI guru help??

Right-To-Left support is not a single action that you take, and it’s not that simple. In my book, I included a dedicated chapter for the APEX Right-To-Left support, which reviews all the actions you need to take to achieve full Right-To-Left support.
A good start for you (other than ordering the book :) ) is to search this forum for keywords like Arabic, Hebrew and RTL. The forum includes several threads on the subject, which will give you a jumpstart.

Move fields from Custom Tab to Standard Tab.

I have created one field through EEWB.The NewField is Displaying In the new tab 'CUSTOM TAB' Now i want to move this field to standard tab. I am using CIC0 tcode ( Service Contract ) pls. help me ....for moveing fields from one custom tab to standard tab.
