MS Windows HWND accessible

I'm running a Swing app on a Windows OS. Given a swing.JWindow or awt.Window, is there any way to get the underlying native Window Handle (HWND)? I'm popping up a native windows dialog, and I'm trying to figure out how to keep it on top of the swing window that called it. If I can somehow get the Window Handle from the peer of the swing window, I think I can pass it to the native dialog in order do this. Thanks.

Never mind. You just use the Windows shell function FindWindow with the title of the frame containing the swing window. It works fine.

Windows Live Skydrive can't see photos in album, show as blank

Windows Live\Hotmail and even Firefox, allows me to upload photos to Skydrive albums, but only see a grayed out thumbnail with photo name, but no pictures using Firefox.

Invert Chart Scale without set Flipped or Properties Window

There are a way to Invert Scale on Chart Plot without set the property Flipped programmatically or set the option inverted on properties window?
I was created a executable program in labview and in any part of code exists a property Flipped and the properties window are not acessible. But one program user
make the graph sliding from the right to the left, fliped.
The are any combination of actions with mouse and keyboard to make the scale inverted? There are any combination of property values to do this?

I know how to invert the scale but I do not want to invert the scale.
Nowhere in my code I am inverting the scale. Neither the properties window is accessible to the user so that he can do.
But some user of my program could inadvertently inverting the scale and I can not understand how he did it.

Hide windows desktop and mouse

Hi,
I need to hide the mouse and the desktop, including the fine white line that is left after manually hiding the taskbar. In other words, I need the front panel to completely fill the screen.
I am using Evaluation LabView 6.0.1 on Win98.

Old Photos in my Collection can no longer be seen on My iPhone

I am using an iPhone 5S 32GB running on iOS 8 (latest update).When I am checking my collection of photos and I go to my oldest files these appear as black boxes and I cannot access them. I migrated on May to this iPhone and used iCloud for the backup (Payed for 50GB space). I was wondering if there is any way to solve this issue or if its a Software/Update. Please help me with this since I value this photos and wouldnt want to lose them.

Saving Dialog Box - how to save to a folder 3 layers deep

Finally through the leopard install!! 3 times a charm
I know this is a really basic question... but how do you save directly to a folder a few layers deep in my folder set up. I click on file save as.... then click on the "where" drop down box but I am unable to click through to the folder I want. It seems basic (was able to do this easily through a PC years ago) have never found out so I thought I would post here.

Click the large blue button with the downward pointing triangle on it next to the filename box in the "Save" dialog & it will expand into a fully navigable Finder-like view of the file system, complete with a toolbar containing the Spotlight search box (very useful for finding folders by name); a selector for list, icon, or column view; forward & back buttons; & even the sidebar.
In this expanded view, you should be able to navigate to any conceivable folder location as easily as with the Finder.
BTW, if you happen to have a Finder Window open & accessible, you can also drag & drop a folder from it into the "Save" dialog & it will select it as the location.

Obtaining values from other programs

I seen where you can use Spy ++ to get values from other running programs, how do you do it? I found the values un Spy ++ from the window, so where from I go from here?

Some of the images are not showing up on my Blogger blog even though the HTML is there. They do show up in Opera.

Three days ago I went to a post from last year and an image was gone. The code was there but not the image.
It doesn't get rid of all the images just certain ones and they are consistently gone. It is not a random deletion of images.
I have had images not show up on other blogger sites.

Play from an Export plugin?

Hi,
From a complete novice at Photoshop plugins...
I am wondering if there is any underlying reason why I can't call sPSActionControl->Play() from an Import or Export plugin.
I have a very simple import and export plugin pair to port from Windows to Mac, and both call a third Listener plugin to keep track of open images. The Windows code creates a hidden window (HWND) in the Listener and messages that from Import and Export. I was thinking that I could replace this by calling Play to send a custom event to the Listener, but can't get it to work.
In fact any call to sPSActionControl fails. [The actual failure is sSPBasic->AcquireSuite in PIUSuites.h returns error 'Parm' when called for the sPSActionControl suite. sSPBasic has been set up, looks ok and sSPBasic->AcquireSuite works when called for sPSActionDescriptor suite].
As a test (to remove other sources of error), I pasted the following lines into the PluginMain function of the History plugin in the SDK sample code and this fails in the same way:

Yes, there are many reasons.
But the biggest reason is that it's an export plugin, and not an automation plugin.

PRINTING: How to print more than one email at a time?

Is it not possible to simply select 10 different emails and send them to the print queue?
I've been searching for hours now and the closest thing I've found is an Automator action that allows users to condense several emails into one (and print from there). This doesn't work for me as I have several receipt emails that shouldn't be combined. Is my only option, seriously, to sit there, one by one, and open > print > close, open > print > close.
There HAS to be a better way than that. Can anyone help?

OK - try this: Do what advanced user said (⌘-select multiple messages) and print to PDF someplace convenient like your Desktop. Highlight/select all newly created PDF icons. Open all simultaneously with Preview (Right-click Open With if you have another default application for PDF, or just right-click Open if Preview is your default PDF application). This displays the multiple documents inside a single window, each accessible by clicking on the appropriate document icon in the sidebar, at least, apparently, that is the default behavior on mine unless you have changed that behavior in Preview Preferences General.
Simultaneously select/drag all the second to last document icons displayed in the document sidebar and drag&drop them on top of the first document icon. "Save as" to whatever. Quit Preview. You now have a multi-page PDF of all those individual PDFs that you started out with.

Many Photos, my own and others, can no longer be seen on Flickr. How can I fix this?

When I go to "You" on my Flickr account, most of my photos do not show up. I cannot edit them or add titles because i cannot see them. Only the ones with photos can be brought up. When I open my groups many photos do not show up, only the the photographers user name. When I click on that, it only takes me to his/her photostream but not the photo. This has been going on for at least a couple of weeks. It makes it very difficult for me to administer or run my groups when I cannot see the photos.

[[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]

Some videos on websites are not showing, it is just blank.

Recently, and I'm not sure what I did, because I don't remember adding or changing anything, some videos just simply stopped working. I've checked plug-ins, made sure if I had the right player and Adobe says I do.
I can see youtube, and Vimeo and some others, but it seems to be when videos are embedded. All I get is a blank space where the video should be. It's just a white space. I can right click on it, and it gives me the options of settings and stuff, but nothing I do seems to work.
Embedded youtube and Vimeo videos work, but not others. Specifically videos from Daily Motion and MSN don't work, and I'm sure others don't as well.
The other three computers in my house hold play them fine, so I know it's just '''my''' computer. I'm not very technologically savvy, so I'm not sure what else to do. I'm running the latest FireFox and even Google Chrome is not playing the same videos.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions

*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the Media tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
