.MSG attachement error in PO

Hi all,
We are on 12.1.3.
Users attach email messages to purchase orders as attachments. When attempting to open the .msg file, we are prompted to find a helper application to open the file. None of the listed apps will open the file properly: Internet Explorer, iTunes, Notepad, Windows Photo Viewer, Windows Wordpad Application. Is there a way to open ,MSG files from Oracle?

Check this in 1000 company code in IDES.
Create material for 1000 company.
Check currency for vendor.
Use purchase org 1000/purchase group 000
use EUR currency.
And also check calculation procedure.
Then check this in ur current organization.

Hi Folks,
Requirement : Fetch emails from an email box and store it in Oracle Database for further processing.
Issue faced : 1) I am unable to fetch the screenshot embedded in the email. I tried fetching them as an attachment, but when I try to open the attachment its throws an error.
2) When an email with .msg attachment is received, the disposition and file name are read as null and hence the attachment is not read.
I tried searching on net but all that I see is how to send such emails and not fetch one .
Can any one please guide me through this?

What program is being used to send the messages with attachments?
If you read the message using (e.g.) Thunderbird and save the attachment, is it correct?
If possible, use the JavaMail msgshow.java sample program to read the message and save the attachments. Does that work correctly?
If none of that helps you figure out the source of the problem, I'm going to need more details to help you debug it. I'm going to need to see the part of your code that saves the attachment, the debug output when your program reads the message and saves the attachment, and possibly a sample message with attachment that demonstrates the problem. 1.The best solution is not to use text, ntext, and image data types
If you can, it is highly rcommend to fix the tables structure
2. we can not use your DDL since it is not complete. Your table create query include data type that we dont have like:

Therefore we can not check your specific situation :-(
3. If you have to use text, ntext data types then

Attaching Error Status to Outbound IDOC. ?

Hello Experts,
We have a scenario in SAP PI / XI were upon creation of a Sales Order , Purchase Order or Material Master Flow to Non-SAP System through SAP PI/XI , the IDOC shouldn't flow to SAP PI following a validation on Material Group.
The IDOC is triggered through Output Type , there is a custom Z function module which create outbound communication IDOC. This output type is attached to a Process Code ZSO, ZMPO defined for respective scenarios defined above.
Currently i am attaching the the status = 07 to control data structure & the IDOC is getting created but is having error.
Is this the right practice to follow for attaching error message Outbound IDOC.

It depends on the business requirement.
in a previous project, if there was any error during the validation of the data within the iDoc before it is created and sent, i would trigger an error and send the error to the person who created the data with the error for them to correct. they would then correct the error within the document and save and the iDoc would be triggered and sent correctly.

we have integrated the solution manger to the Enterprise portal where
the workflow tasks of the solution manager will be displayed in the UWL
of the Enterprise portal.
The workitems are displayed properly, but when we try to see the actual
work item attachment it is giving error as follows:
"Attachment error: Object Link type . See log file for details "
The detailed error we have taken from the UWL.log, which displays as
follows:

Three people reporting a problem hardly qualifies as "quite a bunch". Actually, it is rather common that such issues turn out to be caused by a configuration or installation error.
If you double-checked and are 100% certain that ALL the notes are properly implemented and everything is configured correctly according to the configuration guide, then open an OSS incident so the support team can take a look at your system. There is no "easier approach".

Several users are reporting a server problem with Software Update. Why not wait and try again later today or tomorrow to see if the problem is resolved.
If the problem is on your computer then give this a try:

Delete the following files:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.xxx.plist where "xxx" is a number.
/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate/ (delete entire folder)

It depends on which password you are referring to, but generally speaking you can always restore the Apple TV.

Outlook apple-msg-attachment

Hi,
Has any one user Microsoft Outlook?
Everytime I send out an e-mail from Microsoft Outlook, it always has an attachment with extension .apple-msg-attachment.
This does not happens when e-mail send from Mail App.
Is there any particular setting to avoid this automatic attachment?

Error msg 'attached accessory uses too much power' ??!

WOW...HELP!!
I get an error message: 'attached device uses too much power' virtually every time I attach ANYTHING. Really? Is this related to my distressingly sophisticated cyber-stalker- from- ****? All I want to do is download some pics from my camera, for heaven's sake! As a bonus, it would be cool if the apps I've purchased would actually function; scratch that - if they'd just show up in the apps list in my settings, even...that would be progress!
I love Apple; my issues are NOT the result of the product, nor a lack of patience (and kindness) on Apple's part. However, I refuse to accept 'statistically impossible error' as my lot in life...especially not as the result of some idiot stalker.

If there are no user settings in the app, it will not show up in Settings since there is nothing you can set.
