Msi Gt70 Games shutdown when launched

hello,
I have a problem with the games i want to play, each time i try to open them, they shut down after a few seconds, without crash report.
Now, i mailed people from Bethesda software to ask for help and they said me my graphical card does not work as it should be,
"If this doesn't help, given your msinfo reports a lot of crashing in the nVidia drivers, I'd suggest contacting the support team for your Microstar International GT70 so you can get the very latest video drivers for both graphics systems. I tried to find the driver dates for the nVidia but your DirectX report doesn't even see the nVidia so perhaps - suddenly - Skyrim can't either and is now trying to launch with the Intel graphics which are not really designed with games in mind." -Bethesda software technician
Now what can i do? or do i have to send my pc back?

Yeah I cant even update bios files on website seem invalid well that what laptop says anyway im sending mine back and getting company to fix it I only have mine a week. MSI Hybrid Power Utility - MSI GT70 20C

When I click on the Hybrid Power desktop icon nothing happens. I no longer get the interface to appear like it does before updating everything. I have installed the newer firmware and bios. Everything appears to be stable at this time but I cannot get the utility to run even after reinstalling it.
If I right click on it, I get options to run it with graphics cards but when I do it tells me to open nVidia control panel.
Is there some thing that could effect it from working that I inadvertently changed?

I've run into this same problem on my GT70 20D just two days ago. I tried reinstalling it as well but nothing seems to be working. Anybody have any ideas?

MSI GT70 - Mouse Lag in games

Hi All,
Working with a stock MSI GT70 (AU edition), Windows 8, etc. And currently experiencing what I can only be mouse lag when playing games. The games themselves run very well (thank you MSI ) but no matter what setting I have tried (graphical or mouse) the mouse is not 'snappy'. I have tried a USB input device (rather than bluetooth) and this makes no difference.
This can occur in hardware intensive games such as Borderlands 2 / Battlefield 3. Or simple 'top down' arcade games.

MSI GT70 2PE Low FPS in game

I just bought a MSI GT70 2PE without OS and installed Windows 8.1 and all drivers downloadable on msi.com.
I'm getting an ultra low FPS in World of Warcraft , a ten years old game !!!!
Watch my joined screenshot. Do i have miss something ? Is it really possible to buy a recent notebook with such bad gaming results ??

Yup that is what I needed, now I know your laptops specs. Seems it runs a GTX 880M which should really have no issues at all running games like world of warcraft. Right, first of all, Did you install all the Chipset drivers and so on from the MSI website and are you using the latest Nvidia Drivers?
As HCH mentioned, make sure you are running the game on the dedicated graphics card. You can check this easily as the power button will be orange if it is using the Nvidia GPU and White if it is using the Intel Intergrated graphics.
Also, make sure you are connected to net power when gaming.

I can not access games on my ipod. All games have been synced but when I press on the icons on the ipod the games will not launch.

im sure that your games are not running on ur GTX 670m, try this:
uninstall the mobile gpu and install it again and then do the same with the gtx 670m card.
another thing something that u can try to play almost with all ultra (unless shadow[low], effect[normal], blur off, hbao off, AA off) every thing else to the max is creating a file .txt (on the bf3 folder) and type on it
GameTime.MaxVariableFps 30
and save it as user.cfg and it will run great
make sure that the file didnt save as a text file

Msi gt70 2pc running games very badly.

So, i just bought my msi gt70 yesterday and installed windows 8.1, drivers, etc. Now i installed borderlands 2 so i could play this game. It should run perfect because i heard you could even play battlefield 4 on this laptop? The problem is. On normal settings i get 15 fps MAX. The game ran perfectly on my older computer wich had a radeon hd 6800 series graphics card. I already tried adjusting it trough the nvidia control panel. I'm starting to think this was just a waste of money. Hope anyone can help, else ill have to return it to see if anything might be wrong. Thanks ahead.

Most likely the game is using the Intel iGPU instead of the NVidia dedicated GPU, and this is why the games are running so badly. Follow the instructions linked above to setup the NVidia Optimus driver to use the NVidia card during Borderlands 2 (and any other games) so they work properly.

I Pod Touch game Dark Galaxy Freezes when launching application. Previously worked.

Recently purchased game Dark Galaxy for I Pod touch, has been played for several days. Now when launching application will freeze up and unable to completely lauch.

I find a secret app in the tray of task bar during the game installation.
YA! That is SSE (Steelseries Engine). I can set my own hotkey, backlight LED and combo key with this good friend.
SSE is a smart app. It recognized my GT70 and my mouse immediately when I launch the app.
Sorry again. I was wrong because I don’t need a mouse driver. The SSE can control all of the actions. It is so sweet.

[SOLVED] MSI GT70 keyboard buttons not working

Hi! I am a normal user of computers that like games, so I bought this awesome notebook MSI GT70 i7 16gb ram GTX 675MX 128ssd+750hdd, with a keyboard by steelseries.
Everything was ok, using the notebook as came when I bought, with OS windows 8, with no format nor modifications by me, using it since January 2013.
The problem is that about 1 or 2 weeks some shortcuts of keyboard arent working anymore:
- Wifi button isn't working and isn't becoming orange when pressed, and Fn+F8 isn't working either;
- Screen shutdown button is becoming orange when pressed but not working;
- Cd-dvd eject button is becoming orange when pressed but not working;
- I tried also Fn+F9 and Fn+F12 shortcuts, and I think they arent working either.
At the same time, the Cooler button and the Backlight's Keyboard button are working correctly. Turbo button maybe is working too but I don't know if something become overclock when I activate it.
I would really appreciate some help, since I love my notebook very much, and I hope it's not a hard problem to solve.

I followed your advice:
1. uninstalled SCM, restarted
2. installed SCM, restarted
3. tried to update .net framework, had it already
4. resat the EC
But unfortunately it did not change my GE60 2OC's behaviour: when i press the back-light button it opens my browser with dragoonarmy/msi.com>/ BUT NO LIGHT.
Do anybody have a suggestion to solve this??
