Multi Channel Messaging service Configuring, Testing using Simulator

Hi
I am working on soa project to implement human workflow implementation like sms, voice additional to email service. Can any one guide me to the simulator to be used and configuration to be set.

Please refer section "24.6 Troubleshooting Oracle User Messaging Service" at -
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10226/ns_config.htm
Possible cause -
The UMS Driver for the appropriate channel is configured with a specific list of SenderAddresses, and the message sent by the application has set a non-matching Sender Address.
Note: UMS Server matches the outbound message's sender address, if set, against the available drivers' SenderAddresses to find a matching driver to use for delivering the message. If a driver has set one or more SenderAddresses, then the UMS Server only sends messages with the matching sender address to it.Solutions -
1) Check the following settings in the appropriate UMS Driver using Oracle Fusion Middleware Control:
SenderAddresses
Note: The format for SenderAddresses is a comma-delimited list of <DeliveryType>:<Address>.
For example:
EMAIL:[email protected], EMAIL:[email protected]
2) Leave this property blank, if you want this driver to service outbound messages for all sender addresses for this channel (delivery type).
3) If there are multiple driver instances deployed for the same channel (delivery type) with different configurations, use the SenderAddresses to differentiate the driver instances. For example, one instance can be set with a specific value in SenderAddresses to only service outbound messages with that matching sender address, while the other instance can keep the SenderAddresses blank in order to service all outbound messages that do not specify any sender address or one that does not match that of the first driver instance.
4) SenderAddresses that are configured with the incorrect syntax (such as missing <DeliveryType>:) are ignored by the UMS Server for the purpose of driver selection.Regards,
Anuj

  • No message services configured on unlocked vodafone curve now with Tigo sim card

    Recently unlocked my curve 8520 from vodafone Ireland.  I am based in Central America now and it now has a Tigo El Salvador chip.  I can receive emails, texts and BBM.  Can also send texts & BBM but cannot send emails.  The phone previously worked with my office BES but they have since migrated from blackberry.  The message after i attempt to send an email is "no message services configured. You will only be able to save draft".
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Several things to check...
    Options > Advanced > Default Services.
    Under Messages > do you have your default email listed? If not, choose it if you can.
    If it is not present...
    Please try this, using your BlackBerry browser...
    1)
    • Go to mobile.blackberry.com OR to www.blackberry.com/integrate
    • Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
    • Choose the appropriate email set up options, and either edit the current account in question and save. Or you can delete that account and then return and set it up again.
    If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.
    If not, follow these additional instructions:
    2) Register HRT: (OS5) Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scroll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.
    3) Resend Service Books: Article ID: KB02830 How to send the service books for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
    4) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
    5) Now, return to the 1) mobile.blackberry.com email setup as mentioned above and follow that.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

  • User Messaging Service Configuration Lost on Restart

    I am configuring email for SOA and BAM. For SOA everything goes fine but we are facing issue in BAM.
    We are configuring email in bam(entering port, address etc) and saving that changes. but when we do restart the server all the configuration got erased. only deafult values left. this is the case with BAM only.
    Any idea why its happening?

    I solved this... when u r saving from Em it is not saving ur configuration. so go to driverconfig.xml file at below location
    Manully enter all the configuration values and restart the server.
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ofmw_base_domain\config\fmwconfig\servers\bam_server1\applications\usermessagingdriver-email\configuration

  • New WebEx session on testing the Messaging Service

    To learn a little more about the messaging service and test to see if the messaging service is working, take a look at my new WebEx session, available at:
    [http://www.businessoneecommerce.com/developerdownloads/Testing%20the%20Messaging%20Service%20WebTools%202007.zip|http://www.businessoneecommerce.com/developerdownloads/Testing%20the%20Messaging%20Service%20WebTools%202007.zip]
    Or from our developer downloads page:
    [http://www.businessoneecommerce.com/developer.html|http://www.businessoneecommerce.com/developer.html]

    It seems working now. It looks like the we don’t need to specify any sender address (as it is working in one of our environment without specifying sender address value) in default deployed driver but this field is required when we deploy it using WLST command.
    Ideally this should not be required as if we have one email driver then all the email should route through this driver but it’s not working this way L and seems requiring specific sender addresses in driver property.

  • Unlabelled Alpha channel message!

    Hi All,
    As I was trying to import some files for use in my project in AE, and I got the message as seen in my attached file here. I didn't know what it meant and so didn't know what to do, but eventually ,though I saw the files that I was trying to import in my project area.
    What does this message mean, and what should be my next action when I see it.
    Thanks. Hope you can help.

    Hi,
    Thanks again for your tip. I'm also enclosing the image here. Actually, the book I was using is Adobe After Effects 6.5 magic by James Rankin by James Rankin and Anna Ullrich. See Pg. 79, but start reading from Pg 78.
    Actually, I'm using AE cs3 for my projects.
    Hope you're clarified.
    Thanks.

    Subject: Unlabelled Alpha channel message!
    Again, please use the camera icon when attaching images so they show up immediately. To answer your question: Usually you can just ignore the message. It merely means that AE detects a 4th channel in an image file which has no name or type specified. AE always assumes the 4th channel to be an Alpha channel, however that must not necessarily be true. E.g. RPF/ RLA/ IFF/ OpenEXR images from 3D programs may contain a different info on the 4th channel because they can have multiple custom channels and, depending on teh program used to generate the files, this order can be arbitrary. Likewise, some programs tag the channels correctly, others don't. Generally nothing to go too crazy about, though. Most 3D artists know what channels they generate and if there are only 4 chanenls, AE's assumptions about the Alpha channel are normally correct.

  • BlazeDS configuration with coldfusion/java No destination 'testClass' exists in service flex.messaging.services.RemotingService"

    Hi
      I have an application which requires interaction with both coldfusion and java.I have taken the configuration files from the blazeDS turnkey project and added it to my application.My application server is  coldfusion  deployed in a weblogic.I was able to call coldfusion from my flex but whenever i try making java calls i get the following error

    Can anyone please tell me where i m  going wrong.Is that because i m using flex2gateway for java calls?.I used it since it was how it has been configured in the turnkey project for coldfusion.I have replicated the file as it was there and since it is using flex2gateway even for javaEndpoints i felt we could use the same.
    regards

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did compile all the Java and it
    works OK with a simple Java program. It just will not work in a
    Flex application.
    The java classes are:
    RRA:
    package blah.myPackage;
    import java.util.List;
    import java.util.Collection;
    import flex.data.DataSyncException;
    import flex.data.assemblers.AbstractAssembler;
    class RRA extends AbstractAssembler
    public Collection fill( List fillParameters )
    RRS service = new RRS();
    return service.getSome();
    RRS:
    package blah.myPackage;
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    import java.util.List;
    import java.sql.*;
    import flex.EORS.*;
    class RRS
    public List getSome()
    ArrayList list = new ArrayList();
    String str = "bob";
    RR rr = new RR(str);
    list.add(rr);
    return list;
    RR:
    package blah.myPackage;
    class RR
    private String name;
    public RR() { }
    public RR(String name)
    this.name = name;
    public String getName()
    return this.name;
    public void setName(String name)
    this.name = name;
    I started with something that retrieved data from a database
    but watered it down just to try and get some kind of communication
    between Flex and Java.

  • Inbound Web Service calls get error "Reliable Messaging(RM) configured, but no Message ID..."

    We are setting up the Communication System and Communication Arrangement "Business Partner Replication from SAP ERP".
    For protocol, we are using Type 5 - WebServices.  See screenshot below.
    Our error is that when we send webservice calls to our C4C, we get messages:
    1.  Web service response is "Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side"
    2.  Backend error messages is "SRT: Plain SOAP: Reliable messaging (RM) configured, but no Messaging ID and no WSRM assertion provided"
    We have sent messages from PI and also independently thru soapUI.
    So it seems the C4C in the backend is stuck on the RM messaging protocol setting.
    Appreciate any and all assistance.

    Hi Tim,
    For this error following are the places that needs to be checked.
    1. In C4C the protocol defined in the Communication System should be 5 - Web Services
    2. In C4C Communication Arrangement should have the right protocol selected
    3. In PI make sure the Communication Channel's are created using provided Communication Channel Templates as part of the standard PI content.
    In other words just follow the integration guide available in SMP to avoid such errors.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Prakash

  • Mult-channel PID control using PID Toolkit

    I am controlling the light level in six locations (zones) using light sensors, dimmable ballasts (which respond to a 2 to 10 VDC signal) and the PID toolkit.  In my VI, I loop through 6 times (once for each zone) to control the light levels.  I use the simple PID.vi to determine the next setpoint for the dimmable ballast on the lights.  My problem is as follows, I think:
    The PID algorithm uses past response and the current difference between the measured variable and the setpoint to calculate the next setpoint.  If my understanding is correct, then I am confusing the PID algorithm by calling it with 6 different data sets.  It is almost as if I need 6 separate PID functions, one for each zone.
    Perhaps I am wrong about the operation of the PID algorithm.  Can someone straighten me out?
    Attached is a snapshot of the VI.  The FOR loop goes from 1 to 6, that is, once for each sensor zone.

    rgentry,
    The PID has two modes of operation: Single Channel and Muti-channel. The way you developed your algorithm, you are using single channel algorithm with multiple setpoint and variables. This will not work properly since LV will not keep the internal states correct for each channel.
    To fix this, it is pretty simple. Remove the For Loop and provide the whole 1D array to the PID.vi. This will enable the "multi-channel" mode and every time you call your VI, it will keep the internal states for each channel, as if you had 6 different PIDs in parallel. Notice that the interpolation also will work the same way, you just need to remove the build array primitive.
    Hope this helps!

  • Which permissions required for using CAF External Service Configuration?

    Hello,
    I have written an application service which invokes an external RFC. To this end, I have imported the desired RFC as external service and wrapped it as an application service.
    However, when invoking this application service I get an error message that the external service has not been configured. I have learned that I have to use CAF's External Service Configuration tool.
    Unfortunately, this tool complaints that I don't have the required administrator permissions. This happens even when I log in with the administrator account.
    What do I do wrong?
    Best regards
    Alexander

    I just have found the required role. It is role SAP_CAF_ADMIN.

  • Multi-channel imaging using NI frame grabber

    We have a IMAQ 1408 being controlled by LabVIEW 8.0.
    We wanna setup multi-channel imaging. All the channels work individually. However, when I was trying to show two channels simultaneously, only one channel works, and I got the following error message:
    Error -1074397150 occurred at IMAQ Grab Setup.vi
    Possible reason(s):
    NI-IMAQ: A timeout error occurred while waiting for the specified event. If waiting for an image, verify that all video data is acquired within the timeout period. If waiting for a signal, verify that the signal assertion occurs within the timeout period.
    I sometimes also get another error message asking me to assign different buffer to both channels. I understand that IMAQ 1408 has only one analog to digital converter (ADC) to digitize the incoming video. It can acquire from up to four different cameras, but only from one camera at a time.
    I don't mind making the frame rate half. So I'm thinking of showing one channel at a time and make the two channels work alternantly. But I need to know how to confige the channels to make this happen.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Andrew,
    Thanks for the reply! I've read the page. But it doesn't tell me how to assign the buffer.
    Please see attached for my code.
    Here is another error I got from channel 2:
    Error -1074397158 occurred at IMAQ Grab Acquire.vi:10
    Possible reason(s):
    NI-IMAQ: No buffers configured for session.
    Thanks!
