I want to
create a FLAG(bool type) and a EVENT(bool type) on TestStand4.0 , both default value is false
Have three thread , object is :
After 5 seconds , FLAG= true ...(thread1)
Call extra DLL(function1) that be builded by VisualC++6.0 , if FLAG==true , EVENT=true ...(thread2)
Call extra DLL(function2) that be builded by VisualC++6.0 , if EVENT==true , write simply string into *.txt ...(thread3)
Three threads's begin time is the same (I don't sure it , I setting "Use New Thread" on Execution Option menu)

若您將while loop設於DLL中，那麼就要等到裡面的while loop停止執行
而您將FLAG傳進去當做停止的條件，但是DLL只有被呼叫ㄧ次
所以FLAG也只會傳進去一次，這個動作跟TestStand無關
您使用其他的程式語言也會有相同的問題
(b) 關於TestStand Sequence的執行，請您參考下面我修改的檔案
目前我是可以正常的執行，執行後會有TXT檔案的出現

If your Bluetooth is working, you may be able to tether your phone to another device, and backup that way. Either via iCloud or one of many Apps that send yourself a VCF file containing your contacts.
You may have to update to a later IOS via USB and iTunes, not sure if IOS 6 has Bluetooth Tethering.
I would have thought you could also switch off cloud sync'ing for your contacts, this should ask a question if you want to keep the contacts on your phone. An iTunes Backup and then Restore to your new iPhone should restore the local contacts. Then sync these back to the iCloud.

hi, i bought second hand iphone 3 GS and wanted to switch it free over wlan and over itunes (windows), i tried many times but seems not to be possible.
Under itunes i made also the available tests, the connection always fails with the message that there is no secure connection to the apple server.....

You need to use iDVD 09 or iDVD 11. These are only available on disk.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

TS3798 got internet (unifi) but seems not connected to my Ipad, but IMac is ok

I have this "you're not connected to internet" for over a week now on my Ipad (1) .
I also using IMac in my study and seems ok with the connection to my home WiFi and even my Blackberry handphone, no problem at all.
The funny thing is when I took my Ipad outside the home to Coffee Bean or any other places which have free WIFi connections, is connected easily with no problem and as soon as coming back home, cannot at all.
My nephew have Ipad 2 and no problem with the connection at my place, so please help me to solve my problem....

0122226978The message you are getting means that you have not made peace with the router on your home wifi set up.
The fan symbol at the top left shows the signal strength your pad sees from the network, but does not mean you have yet reached the Internet.
Go into settings, wifi, and see if it sees your network, and if it does, is there a checkmark next to the network name. I am guessing no.
The easiest step is to 'forget' that network, and start over.
Have the pad search for available networks. When it finds yours, tap the network name. The pad will then ask for your security password. Sometimes this is the password you set on your router. Sometimes this is the security key that is assigned by your router. Enter the key, and the system will attempt to join the network. When it does, a checkmark will appear next to the network name.
Until you get past the security, you are not 'in'. The pad will remember that network and security, so in the future you will not need to repeat the process. -
when i am browsing the internet, i use google chrome, several pop ups open in new windows and i have to constantly close them. some windows even open up and the sound of an iphone ringtone is playing and i have to click on leave this page in order to close the window. some windows open up and say my computer may be infected and suggest downloading "mac keeper" to keep my laptop safe, which i did not do. and the most annoying one is while i am watching netflix or any movie using the internet, i will hear ads playing while the movie is playing but when i go to look for an ad to close there is none. it will go on and off as the movie is playing. what should i do?!?!?!

ACR 4 installed in three places but does not show in "About Plug-ins"
1st gen MacBookPro / OSX 10.4.10 / 2 gigs of mem / 20+ gigs free disk
Installed the plugin in ... CS/File formats/ , the PE 4.0 plugin folder and the Bridge plugin folder.
But nothing works. The DNG converter works just fine. But DNG files are not read either.
I still have PE 3.0 installed. No RAW plugin installed there.
What needs to be changed to make the ACR 4.02 plugin work with my brand new, arrived today, Photoshop Elements 4?

Adobe has several different instructions online! Very confusing. A key point is that you MUST have upgraded to Elements 4.01. This should be made much more explicit. If this is not done, it makes no difference how or where you install the plugin.
Once the upgrade is installed, placing the plugin in ONLY the CS folder in the root directory, not the user's directory, works exactly as one of the Adobe instructions reports.
I have now removed the plugin in from both Elements 4.01 and Bridge and have ONLY one copy in the CS folder. This works great.
Now if only digital cameras had better dynamic range -- esp. my old Oly E20.

MariaMy understanding is the you can have three apple ids per device.
You do want to be the first to set the Activation lock. This way you can at least restore you iPad should it get locked out.

If I go tot this window on finder and enter Time Machine I can go back and find old notes...
If so, am I doing this on my new hard drive on on the time machine? When I do this on the time machine, what is "my home"? Also, I am unable to find "containers".
If I go to users/jeff/library, then I see components, compositions, contextual, etc, but not containers.

I bought a second hand G4 iBook with iLife 09 on it. I have copied iLife to my new Macbook Pro. The applications would not open, so I did a software update and update all three applications, but they will still not open. Can anyone help?
The seller should have given you the original disk so that you can reinstall as needed. But it likely was a single-user license (which really means single computer) so you can only have a copy on one computer at a time. If the seller didn't give you the disk he is probably still using the software on his new Mac. Your best option to get any of the iWork apps to use in OS X 10.6.6 or later is through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac you have that has access to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID.

Lightroom 4 crashes when trying to open the slideshow module. I spent over three hours with both Adobe and Apple tech support and we know it is a permission issue but have not been able to get it solved. It started with the last upgrade to 10.8
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
The first step should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word, all lower case, with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.

Checked to see how much free space there is on the startup disk lately?
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.

If disk space is not the issue, booting in Safe Mode deletes system caches that may help.
A Safe Mode boot takes longer then a normal boot so be patient.
Once you see the Desktop, click the Apple menu icon top left corner of the screen.
From the drop down menu click Restart.

So before we start - I have read the KB (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-already-running-not-responding) and actioned the advice on how end the processes, delete the parental lock, etc. This gives a temporary but one time only fix and does not resolve the overall issue.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the application.

Note that in Firefox 13+ (expected to be released June 5) the parent.lock file is no longer deleted after closing Firefox to make it possible to check for startup crashes, so the presence of that file will in the future no longer indicate a problem.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
