Multiple Apple ID's on one Mac

Hi, ive read all other question related to miltiple apple id's. but they dont answere my question.
I got 3 Apple ID's. I want them all activated on my macbook pro. Google search says i can do it. I have to create for each apple ID a seperate iTunes Library (i followed this guide http://www.imore.com/how-use-multiple-apple-ids-one-computer-and-itunes)
but that doesnt work.
I cant add my other two ID's. iTunes keeps telling me i can not add another Apple ID. I have to wait 90 days.
So, thats kinda weird. Apple does allow to register multiple Apple ID's. But why cant we use em?
I asked Apple Support to transfer all content from my previous Apple ID's to my new one. but they wont do it.
Right now i can not use my own stuff. Thats so unnecessary.
any help would be highly appreciated.
thanks

Why do you have 3 Apple IDs?
Apple IDs cannot be merged and items bought with one Apple ID cannot be transfered to another. A computer can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days for automatic downloads, re-downloading of past purchases or iTunes Match. There is no getting around this restriction.
One computer can be autorized to play content purchased with multiple Apple IDs, though.
My suggestion is to pick on Apple ID and stick with it for the future. Once you have decided, log into one of the other Apple IDs and download every avialble item you bought with that ID to your computer. Wait 90 days. Log into the other ID and do the same thing. Wait 90 days. Finally log into the "main" Apple ID and stay logged in. Keep current backups of all your purchased items on a local, external HDD.

How about streaming different content to each ATV ? Can you playback Music on the One ATV and at same time play a movie on a other? Can you also start the streaming from the iTunes library on the mac (more than one title simultanously) or only start the different titles on each ATV?
Each "source" can only play one thing at a time, but you can have multiple sources on the same network simultaneously, going to different ATVs. For example, you can stream a movie from your iTunes library to one ATV, and at the same time stream music from your iPhone to another ATV. What you can't do is stream a movie and music from a single source (e.g. iTunes) +at the same time+.

  • How do you have multiple apple id's with one itunes

how do you have multiple apple id's with one itunes

I have multiple IDs and use the single computer sharing itunes. By 'sharing' I mean we open the pc, open itunes and log in with our individual ID as required.
While Im logged in I plug in  my device. I transfer my purchases from my device as per the file menu (not the check for auto downloads). I move them as required to whichever playlist I like.
Then when my son wants to use itunes or update his device, he logs in, plugs in his device, transfers purchases from his device, puts whatever music he wants into his playlist and/or drags direct to the device regardless of who purchased it and then syncs.
Im not sure how it works associating the pc with only one ID or all that other business- I know I don't fiddle with any of that.

  • HT204053 Can you have multiple apple ids that access one itune account??

I need to know if I can have multiple Apple Ids attached to one itunes account.  Trying to set facetime up on these separate devices and it keeps failing.  Any help would be appreciated.  I tried to add additional emails, but I all I get is verifying and it never verifies it.

yes you can still sync all the devices on itunes using one master itunes/appleID account.
    Music:
If you want to select specific playlists for your kids, DON'T enable iTunes Match on their devices, otherwise they will get ALL the playlists on their devices (learned that the hard way)
If you have wi-fi synced enabled that should still work.
    Apps:
I manually select which apps they get on their devices using itunes. It only changes when they re-sync.
Don't enable AUTO downloads on their devices for Apps or Music purchases.
Since I also have young kids using these devices:
I have restrictions setup on their devices. I don't allow them to install/delete apps, nor do I allow them to make any account changes on their devices. This way their devices stay in order and get backed up to icloud. I can easily restore their devices if I needed too.
Once in a while I will disable the restrictions so I can update all their apps.
    Hope this helps!

  • HT202213 How do I manage multiple Apple ID accounts to one computer?

My husband & I travel a lot and both have our own Itune accounts & apple ID's, Ipads & Iphones but share one MAC when we are home.
We no longer seem able to download all our various purchases to the one computer. Any idea how we bypass the message that keeps coming up?
Something to do with a 90 day restriction?

This is the confusing difference between "authorization" and "association".
In order to play content on a computer, you need to "authorize" the AppleID used to buy the content.  This can be done for many AppleIDs on one computer.
However, in order to *redownload* content on a computer, including
      - redownloading previous purchases
      - autodownloading purchases made on another device
    - running iTunes Match
you have to "associate" the computer to that AppleID, and this can only be done for one AppleID *per computer* (NOT per user account).  This user can only change every 90 days.
There is no workaround for this.  They'll reset the counter for a one time error (like when my son locked me out of Match by redownloading a TV show), but if you want content from more than one user, you'll have to copy it there by some other means.
Oh yeah, be sure to write Apple about what a stupid rule this is.

  • Using Multiple Apple TV's with One Account

I am thinking of installing multiple Apple TV's in my home so we can rent/buy movies in different rooms. Is their any limitation of how many can be logged in at one time? Can I be downloading to multiple ATV's at the same time using the same account?

You can connect up to 5 tv's to your itunes library. Yes they can download content from the itunes store at the same time, playback the same or different content at the same time or a mixture of each. You may find though that this can put a strain on some networks and performance may vary.
I have 5, I can't say for sure I've ever had five playing movies together, certainly had 3 and probably 4 and for me they have worked well, albeit my network is a little more than what most people would want to set up.

  • Can you access/use multiple apple ID's on one device?

    Hello,
In our family we have been registering everything (ipods, iphones and computers) all under one apple id. We have made purchases with the family apple id which we have been accessing on multiple devices. With everyones different needs I am wondering about setting up new apple id's for different family members. Can I use multiple apple id's on devices like my iPhone and still access apps/books/music purchased on the family apple id's and if so how do I do this.
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Multiple Apple ID's, which one should be main iCloud ID on iOS 5?

Hey!  Seems like iCloud is a bit more complex to setup than I had thought it would be.  Here's the situation.  I have two Apple ID's.  One is my @me.com account that I just migrated to iCloud.  Second Apple ID is an @gmail.com account that I use for all of my iTunes purchases (also migrated to iCloud.  I know you can have multiple Apple ID's setup in iOS (by means of "Mail, Contacts, Calenders"), but there is only room for one account under the "iCloud" tab/setting under iOS settings.  Which one should be used here?  My @me.com, or the one I use for iTunes purchases? ...or does it even matter?  Just want to set everything up optimally from the start so I don't have to go back later and correct something.
    Thanks all for your assistance!

  • Sync Multiple Apple TV's with one computer

I recently purchased 2 apple TVs and synched the first one with itunes running on my PC. I installed the 2nd unit, and it appears in iTunes as streaming only. What can i do? i want to load up the hard drive with content, i don't want to stream b/c it requires iTunes and the PC to be up and running.
Is there a way for multiple Apple TVs to sync with a single computer?

Today I was able to see both Apple TV's in itunes at the same time
From the second AppleTV, i made sure I selected Connect to iTunes from Settings->Computer. It presented me with an access code. From iTunes I entered the access code, and it came alive!! I was able to select which tv shows it would sync with, and then it started syncing. the entire time my primary AppleTV was being used in the other room. So iTunes was able to see both at the same time.

  • HT204053 merge multiple Apple ID's into one Apple ID

I have multiple Apple ID/accounts and would like to merge into one account

Cannot be done. Just use one account in the future and remove all private information from the other.  Unfortunately any purchases will remain forever (unless Apple changes its mind) separated.

  • Multiple Apple ID's on Single Mac - Manually choose Apps to Sync

    Scenario:
    1 MacBook Pro, 3 iPhone 4s's.
    3 Separate Apple ID's
Different Apps purchased on different Apple ID's.
    Question:
How can I tell iTunes not to sync apps on a particular iPhone individually.
e.g. I download Videostar on iPhone 1, but no other iPhone, I use it, I then want to keep the app in iTunes but not on the iPhone,
In other words, I want to manually choose what apps I have on each of my iPhones irrespective of what iTunes has a record of having been synced with the iPhone before.
At the moment on iTunes 11.1.3(8), when I sync an iPhone, all the apps I ever had on it are put back on whether I want to or not.
There used to be a tick box in previous versions to choose what apps to sync per iPhone?
    Has that gone now?
All I see is the "Will Install" and "Install" options, no "Do Not Sync" option, not even a "Remove" option.
    Thanks....
    Adrian.
