Multiple dynamic Hyperlinks in Single Cell

My Requirement is similar to

single Data column will be displaying csv values and need to build hyperlink for each item in new window.
Eg- 
Bike,car,bus
Bike,car,Bus,Tram
When user selected data,
In an single cell of my ssrs, i need to display an column which can hyperlink to respective page
The values are coming from an table column as comma separated values.

Hi,
  I think you can use place holders to put these three values seperatly and set an action property on the placeholder. Is the values in the hyperlink are static or dynamic ?

  • Is there a way to add multiple borders to a single cell with one click or do I have to add one border at a time for example, one cell with borders on three sides?

    I would like to know if there is a way to add multiple borders to a single cell or selection of cells in one click.  At this time, if i want to add for example a top border and a bottom border to a single cell I have to do this in two steps: first select the top border, style, thickness, and color, and then next select the bottom border, style, thickness, and color.  Is there a way to select the top and bottom border of a cell in one click?  Clicking on the top border then holding down the command key while selecting the bottom border does not work, nor does holding down the option key, the control key, or the shift key work.     Thank you for the suggestion but this did not work for my Mac.  When a cell is selected for which I want borders, the entire cell is lit up.  Then when I go to the border tool and select style, thickness, and color, the entire lit up cell takes on the border, that is the Outside Edges of the cell now have a border.  So selecting the style, thickness, and color first doesn't work.
    If I select the top border first (or any border), the drop down goes away and I can't select multiple borders - I get to choose one at a time.  After selecting one border, style, thickness, and color, said border is now on the spreadsheet.  Then I go back to the border selection and pick another border and the the previously selected style, thickness, and color reverts to null, so I start over with the new border style, thickness, and color.  Yes, it is tedious.
    The Fix would allow the user to select multiple borders, say left and right, before the drop down goes away after selecting only one border
    Does it have something to do with Allow or Disallow border selection?

  • Dynamic Alerts per single cell in a dashboard

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a dashboard in which the main requirement is to show alerts per cell in a table(either in a spreadsheet table or scorecard component).
    I have used the spreadsheet table to display data and used rectangle components on top of each cell of the spreadsheet to display alerts based on dynamic visibility.
    This kind of solves the problem of single cell alerts, but here another issue is, if the data for a given selection in the header navigation has only 5 columns as opposed to 10 columns for a different selection, the width of the spreadsheet cell is not dynamically picking up as the user wants the no. of output columns to be evenly distributed in the component than re-sizing the component of the canvas.
    I am trying to use Scorecard alerts, but i don't know how to create dynamic range.
    Here is the condition of my alerts...
    From database per data row, i will have either R or G(the logic is pre-calculated )
    If the query retrieves R per row for that fact value, then show that fact value as number and display the alert in RED
    Similarly for G, display GREEN color.
    Can someone help how to accomplish this?

  • Copy and Paste Multiple lines into a single cell

    Folks:
    I need to copy some plain text data into a single cell that has been merged with other cells to provider a larger unit; however, every time I copy and paste my data it gives me an error. In addition, if I paste the data into a single cell, the next line
    of data inserts into the next row.
    I understand that Alt+enter is a quick way to do what I want, but I already have the data typed out, and I do not want to type the data again.
    Example: (If possible I want in one single cell)
    Disks=32
    Total space=1.74TB
    Used space=1.20TB
    Free space=0.54TB

    Is there any way to do this but keep the source formatting? I don't see any "Paste Special" options when you do it this way.
    That is not possible - when you copy/paste this way, you only copy the plain text, not the formatting. You'll have to apply formatting to the cell with pasted lines from scratch.

    It can be done but it is quite a lot of work. Basically you have to produce your own cell renderer and use that instead. A good book on swing will tell you how to do it.

  • How to show multiple dynamic tables on a single screen?

    right now im displaying alv for singlr attribute of dimension.
    eg for dimension PRODUCT attribute PROFITCENTER im displaying in alv when user executes it.
    but the requirement is that multiple attributes can be there so multiple tables is to be displayed on a single screen.
    User basically wants to see data of all attributes. if there are 10 attributes hee wants to see 10 tables as every attribute has a different table.
    what i have achieved is below in snapshots. only one attribute table PRODUCT im able to display. since i believe multiple headers cant be displyed in alv so even if i display multiple dynamically populated tables on a single screen then it will be fine.

    Yes you can, although you need to do it slightly differently, depending on what your 'original' form is doing.
    You end up having to do two things:
    1. In your second tabular form, you need to explicitly identify the relevant form fields using calls to the relevant APEX_ITEM functions - as well as this, you need to 'manually' specify the array number in the arguments for the function call, ensuring it doesn't overlap with your original form. Normally, this aspect is done for you.
    2. Create your own custom CRUD processes, referencing the above elements. There are a few threads floating around the forum relating to how to deal with this. Do a search for "APEX_APPLICATION.G_F" or "HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F" for pointers.

    arrange ur final internal table so that it will look like same line...
    like...lets say ur internal table is :

    A1 B2 C2 D2 123
    and u can rearrange ur table to be like
    A1 B1 C1 D1 123
          C2 D2 123
    A1 B2 C1 D1 123
          C2 D2 123
    what i mean to say is dont pass the fields if they are same in the previous line... try it out..
    and then pass it two ur ALV.
    it will look like they are in one line

             I am working in BO XIR2. I have a scenario as follows.
    In a single cell (blank cell from template) i need to display multiple contact persons. When I drag the contact person name into the blank cell, I am getting an error: MULTIVALUE). Please let me know how to use a function so that I can show two or three contact person names in a single blank cell.
    I tried to use Replace and Char function as follows to bring Carriage Return functionality to the cell.
    Replace([Contact Person]; ";" ; Char(13)) but this did not work.

    I know this thread has been answered. I recently came across a scenario where I happen to populate multiple values in a single blank cell(from templates). But the only catch being that if user enters multiple values for a prompt you can show them in a single cell eg: =UserResponse("Enter value(s) for Branch:"). would be the formula for the blank cell. Afetr the user selects three values say A, B,C, webi puts it in the format of A;B;C. in a single cell.
    In your case try giving that as a prompt to the user or answer that multi prompt some how and when u use the above formula it should suffice your requirement.

  • How to find multiple keys in single cell using Numbers?

    I'm trying to add functionality to one of my Numbers tables where want to check a single cell for multiple keywords from a list. The hole thing works perfectly fine in Excel but it behaves differently in Numbers.
    The formula I am using is:
    =IF(ISERROR(LOOKUP(2^15;FIND($E$2:$E$11;A2)));"not found";"found")
    The following screenshots show that it correctly finds the keys in the cell when using Excel but not in Numbers. Although, it seems to work if the key is in the same row as the input cell.

    If you are working in Numbers you can do this efficiently with a small AppleScript without going back to Excel or clone. One click and you get the following result:
    This script works with Numbers 2.3, which your screenshot suggests you are using. If you are using Numbers 3 it needs a very small adjustment.

  • Populate multiple rows and columns based off of a single cell

    Does anyone know a way to populate multiple rows and columns based off of the input of a single cell. I'm trying to create a workout tracker that auto populates from a master list of workouts. Example, in A2 the user selects the workout from a drop down menu (St1, St2, St3, etc) and the workout is pulled from the master list and is populated into B2:C5.
    I'm using =LOOKUP(A2,Master :: A2:A32,Master :: C2:C32) right now, but it's only drawing the top column. I'm looking for an edit for the formula (or completely new formula) that will place the info from the 1st column of the Master table into the 1st column of the Auto Tracker 1 table and then on down until the 4th column.

    Your screenshots show that you have merged some cells in Column A of both tables. That may be the reason why the LOOKUP function is having trouble working out which range of cells to examine.

    Question: How can I display multiple dynamic html pages that are linked to each other, within a single portal folder?
    History:
    I have a designer/web server application (PL/SQL packakges) on Oracle
    8.1.7. Early in the development process we built it into WebDB2.2 and
    used folders on the left side as a navigation bar and the contents of my packages on the right side. This was easy, WebDB used Frames.
    Unfortunatley I could never automatically display a PL/SQL item in the folder area.
    Now I need to integrate the application into Portal 3.0 not the early adopters version, the one with 9iAS (NT for now, Unix later). I have a page/content area divided into regions and a navigation portlet on the left side containing links to PL/SQL folders whose contents are displayed on the right side. On the right side I have (for example) a Queryview. When I click on any of the buttons (i.e. Find, New), I land in a new page outside of my portal folder. This page contains a dynamically built list (from one or more DB Tables) and of course the first column contains a list of links that bring you to the individual item. How do I set my links or configure my folder to display
    within the portal folder area?

    One alternate is, increase the size of your screen, for this go to the layout of your screen and increase it as much you want, and also the custom container size, so that no scroll bar will appear at least.
    Other solution would be, as you said ALVs will be dynamical, it will be good to create buttons, or links on the screen based on the no of ALVs dynamically and on click of corresponding button call the corresponding ALV.
    But i dont think this will serve, first check the first option.

  • Inserting titles between multiple dynamic EPM reports

    Hi,
    I am currently working on some templates where there are multiple dynamic EPM reports with shared column dimensions and multiple dimensions in the rows.  I am using EPM Add-in SP21 patch 1.
    We would like to have a section title appearing between the reports, I have tried a number of methods but have not found a solution that produces quality results.
    Methods tried:
    1. A local member on the row inserted at the start of the second report.  The local member text appears in the right most row dimension column which is not the right place for a title.  Also the titles for the dimension rows are not copied.
    2. Insert a dummy member and override the member name.  There are a couple of problems with this method, subsequent dimension ID's are populated and local members are also applied to this member.
    3. EPMInsertCellsBeforeAfterBlock.  I only managed to get this to copy a single cell into the data columns, not the row dimension columns.
    4. Use VBA to add a title.  The API GetDataTopLeftCell will return the starting position of data in a specific report.  This can then be used to insert text into the previous line as a title.  The disadvantage here is that VBA is being used but it can be used to produce the required results though you need to handle formatting and any password protection within the VBA.
    I imagine that this is quite a common requirement.  Ideally I would like to solve this without resorting to VBA or some exotic workaround.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

    I want results similar to what I have achieved using VBA.  Where I have one row for column titles, which I am copying using Excel formulas, these should appear on every column including the dimension columns.  On the row above this should be a subsection title, in this example this is "Bezüger"
    The screen shots contain two reports, one below the other with shared column axis.  The second report has been shifted down by a couple of rows to introduce a break between the reports.
    Using VBA I inserted titles onto two rows, with a section title above a repeat of the original column header.
    The best that I have achieved using local members resulted in a title being on the right most column, and there being no way to put title column header above the dimension columns.
    I have played around with all the options for the local member but find no way to make the title appear in the left most column.
    In this screen shot, the local member is disabled, because I have replaced it with the VBA solution.
    I hope that the updated screen shots make this clearer to you.

  • Selecting data from Multiple Partitions in a single select stmt.

    My Database is very large & my tables are partitioned.
    My question is:
    1) If my data is spread across multiple partitions, is there any way to select data from multiple partitions in a single query?
    If we dont mention partition name also it works fine, but perofmance wise it will be very slow. (Using EXPLAIN PLAN)
    (Note:I dont want to make use of Union concept, i want to do it in a single select statement)
    For ex:
    qry1.sql:
    select empno from emp_trans partition (P012000)
    This above query(qry1.sql) will work fine.
    qry2.sql:
    select empno from emp_trans partition (P012000,P022000)
    The above query(qry2.sql) will return will return the following error:
    ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
    If anybody has any solution for this, pls mail me immediately.

My question is, if i want to mention multiple partition names at the time of generating my query(select), then with parformance will be good.
