Multiple errors opening up a App for Sharepoint in VS2013

I have every pre-requisite installed on my Server 2008 R2 VM.
I launch VS2013, I have added my Azure web site and I have logged into my o365 account successfully. When I create new Project, App for SharePoint, the solution opens up in VS and I immediately get 5 errors:
Error 1 The type or namespace name 'SharePoint' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?) C:\Users\administrator.SHAREPOINT\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\SharePointApp1\SharePointApp1Web\Controllers\HomeController.cs 1 17 SharePointApp1Web
Error 2 The type or namespace name 'SharePointContextFilter' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) C:\Users\administrator.SHAREPOINT\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\SharePointApp1\SharePointApp1Web\Controllers\HomeController.cs 12 10 SharePointApp1Web
Error 3 The type or namespace name 'SharePointContextFilterAttribute' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) C:\Users\administrator.SHAREPOINT\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\SharePointApp1\SharePointApp1Web\Controllers\HomeController.cs 12 10 SharePointApp1Web
Error 4 'System.Web.Mvc.Controller.User' is a 'property' but is used like a 'type' C:\Users\administrator.SHAREPOINT\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\SharePointApp1\SharePointApp1Web\Controllers\HomeController.cs 15 13 SharePointApp1Web
Error 5 The name 'SharePointContextProvider' does not exist in the current context C:\Users\administrator.SHAREPOINT\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\SharePointApp1\SharePointApp1Web\Controllers\HomeController.cs 17 29 SharePointApp1Web
I can fix error 1 by manually adding the reference but the others I can't, no matter how many pre requisite exe/msi I re run.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
Installed the following prerequisites to solve the problem:
◾Turn on "Windows Identity Foundation 3.5" in Windows Features
◾Installed "Windows Identity Foundation 4.0 (sic) SDK" from MSDN
◾Installed ASP.NET Web Tools Refresh for Visual Studio 2013 Preview
◾Installed SharePoint 2013 Client Components SDK
◾Run Visual Studio as Administrator!
Here is a blog with the similar issue for your reference:

  • Error trying to create App for SharePoint Online

I'm trying to create my first app for SharePoint Online using Visual Studio 2012. I believe I have all of the pre-reqs installed/configured. I have created a dev site in our SharePoint Online environment. I am a Site Collection administrator for that site.
When I open VS2012, and try to create a new app project, it prompts me to connect to my dev site. When I enter the URL for that site, it give me the following login:
We use ADFS, so when I enter my email address, it redirects me to my organizations federated login:
Once I login, it takes me to the screen that reads "Error: An error has occurred on the server" with the standard SharePoint correlation id.
I can't seem to get past this, and it won't let me start the new app project. Any thoughts on how to proceed?
    Thanks in advance,
    cflbasser

Here is the correlation error screen for reference:
When I click "go back to site", it takes me here:

    Hi Harminder,
This happens because an app has already been deployed and you are deploying it again using the same version.
    Resolution:
Open the AppManifest.xml file and change the version.

    Hi Jerry,
I agree with Nikhil, I think you have posted partial ULS log, we could not find effective errors for the issue.
For Provider Hosted app in SharePoint server on-premise,
the TokenHelper class will try to access your Azure Security Principle by default.
Did you have a valid Azure account?
If not, the issue may be caused that you don't have a valid account, to resolve this issue, you can use
a valid Azure account or not going to use Azure Platform for hosting the app as the article
    below.

    Thanks Fei for your time.
    >>>I would suggest that you create a new project and set it start action with 'Internet Explorer'
to see whether this issue could be reproduced.  If no, we can compare the difference between the two menifest files.

Error occurred in deployment step 'Install app for SharePoint': Das Querladen von Apps ist auf dieser Website nicht aktiviert.
I am new to sharepoint app development. When i am trying to deploy my developed app in sharepoint i am getting the above error. Sorry, i dont know the exact error in English because our sharepoint is in German language.
Please help me to get rid from this.
    Dhinesh Bala

    Hi Dhinesh,
Technically we cannot deploy the app on any site. It has to be a site created from developer site template..Here are some useful information for you.

  • 'Install App for SharePoint' There were errors when validating the App Package

    Hello,
When testing with an app, I tried to add an
app event receiver before learning that remote event receiver are not allowed with
Sharepoint-hosted app. So I reseted the Handle app installed and
Web Project properties of my project and tried to redeploy and this error occurred :
'Install App for SharePoint' There were errors when validating the App Package
Something other than the project's properties have been modified but I don't know what.

I think the best way to figure real reason out is to look at ULS logs.
This is example, what I had:
Unexpected        App Packaging: CreatePackage: Unexpected exception: There were errors when validating the App package: There were errors when validating the App Package. Other warnings / errors associated with this
exception:  The current version of SharePoint is less than the SharePointMinVersion specified in the app manifest. CurrentVersion='15.0.4693.1000', SharePointMinVersion='16.0.0.0'.

  • Error occurred in deployment step 'Uninstall app for SharePoint': Only users who can View Pages can list Apps

While deploying the SharePoint Hosted App I am facing the issue  'Uninstall app for SharePoint': Only users who can View Pages can list Apps"
    - Provided the permissions for App Management and Subscription Services as well as DB.
    - Added into Host web as SC Administrator
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
The user you are running with Visual Studio should have read permission on the pages of SharePoint web you are trying to deploying your app.
I suggest you add the login user to the SharePoint web in the “Site Settings”->”People and Group”.

  • 'Uninstall app for SharePoint': Could not load type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPAppInstanceErrorDetails' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint

    Hi there,
I am new to developing with SharePoint and would like to create my first app for SP13 with VS12.
To run SP13 and VS12 on the same virtual machine. The SP Tools Developer I have also installed.
    My problem:
I select the Project Wizard from VS12 to create a new app SP13 using provider hosted option. After the project is created I want to directly deploy (F5), and yet I always get the following error:
    Error 1
Error occurred in deployment step 'Uninstall app for SharePoint': Could not load type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPAppInstanceErrorDetails' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'.

  • Configuring Apps for SharePoint 2013 - Host Header Sites

    Hi All
I am busy planning our Apps for SharePoint deployment and one gotcha seems to be sites that use host headers. Our current deployment consists of the following:
    2x WFE's (WFESRV1 and WFESRV2)
    2x App Servers (APPSRV1 and APPSRV2)
The WFE's are load-balanced and we have 2 sites, portal.intranet.com and mysite.intranet.com. Both use host headers. I have gotten to the point where I will have a DNS zone called companyapps.com and a CNAME *.companyapps.com.
To which site do I point the CNAME to and what if I need both sites to be App enabled? Also, a lot of sites mention I need a empty site collection on a separate IP in order to use Apps with host headers. How would I use this empty site collection and
    what would I name it?
We are on the March 2013 update.

May Be I understand your question as *.companyapps.com should be pointed to sharepoint server but where in IIS binding would you map *.companyapps.com
Actually, When you configure the APPS on server, the central admin > apps > you have to mention this *.companyapps.com. Now all apps will be "(yourname)-guid.companyapps.com"
Then you will have to create a app catalog where all the app related details will be stored
When App service application is created it is automatically added to default service connection. and this service connection to mapped to other web application(Application management, you see service connection)
If all is configured well apps will automatically work for all web apps

  • Configure an environment for apps for SharePoint (SharePoint 2013)

I am trying to follow the instructions in the article, "Configure an environment for apps for SharePoint (SharePoint 2013)". I have purchased an additional domain for the apps. However, in step 2 it says to create a CNAME from that domain to my
    sharepoint domain.
Which site do I point the CNAME to? I have 2 host-named site collections for my application.

Since you say there are no dumb questions here goes:
I think my web server is IIS. If that is the case, I have 2 sites in IIS, the "Default" which is the WHS2011 remote login page and "SharePoint-80" which is the name of my SharePoint application. There is nothing in IIS that
has My internal server name.domain.XXX. There is a domain name that came with WHS2011 of XXX.homeserver.com (the "Default" site). I purchased a domain for my SharePoint site collections. Again, neither of these uses my internal server name so
I know I am missing something here.
    Thanks
