Multiple instances of the same program on the dock

So, I use Firefox as my web browser and for the most part love it. The only problem seems to be that for sites with Macromedia Flash and Shockwave content, Firefox needs to be running in Rosetta to allow the Macromedia code to run.
So, at the moment if I come across a site with Flash content I have to close my browser, alter the settings to force it to run in Rosetta, then re-open with the icon I have on my dock.
Is there a way I can setup two icons on the dock, one with Firefox set to run in Rosetta and one to run natively?

sure,
You can't have them both open at the same time, without changing the name that shows up for the process, but having an Intel and PowerPC version on the Dock is easy.. Just duplicate FireFox in the Applications folder, set one copy to Open Using Rosetta, and add both to the Dock.
Of course if you want to you can change the name and the icon (for the icon, you need to open the Firefox app (Ctrl-click and select Show Package Contents) then edit Firefox.app/Contents/Resources/firefox.icns.

I like write a program to use AO and AI in the same program.
In this program write a timer a voltage to a AO port and after then it should read a voltage.
I know how I write voltage to a AO port and read a voltage on a AI port, but not in a the same program.
The read- and the write-Task, should work as soon as possible (<=1ms).
(My timer have 100us ticks)
what should I inilize for the PCI6229 card, to use AO and AI and in which order?
Can I have a example or pseudocode?

Hi Heiko-
There is very little overlap between the AO and AI examples, so you should be able to piece the code together pretty easily. I would offer these suggestions:
1. These lines should only be executed once, and they should be done before any AI or AO specific initialization is done:
configureTimebase (board);
pllReset (board);
analogTriggerReset (board); 2. It does not matter which order you perform the AI or AO initialization, but I would recommend waiting to unground the AO reference (by board->AO_Calibration.writeAO_RefGround (kFalse) until all of the AI and AO init is done. This will help to avoid any glitching on the AO lines. The only steps that should be saved until after ungrounding the reference are the Start operations for AI and AO (depending on the AO mode you use, there may not be a specific Start operation to call. Consult the MHDDK examples for more info about the required steps).

You may follow the link on how to implement a BADI over a user exit. If you create a badi over a user exit, you can create multiple implementations.

The Apple TV cannot display keynote presentations or websites from the computer. It can display them via mirroring from the iPad 2 or better or the iPhone 4S.
You cannot AirPlay to 2 Apple TV 2's at the same time from an iOS device. You can watch the same video, TV show or listen to the same music from your iTunes library on multiple Apple TV's at the same time.

As above, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library, however it is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve/merge ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

Weird: changing file or link associated defaults then changes ALL defaults to the same program

Y'know... I thought I'd possibly 'seen it all' but today someone brought me a laptop with something I don't believe I've ever seen...
every link and file association is defaulted to the wrong program, and it is not possible to restore the association to the proper program for the respective file types. And changing one
association changes ALL other associations for every other link to a file or shortcut.
For instance: 'right-clicking' on what I KNOW to be an Adobe Acrobat file and selecting 'open with...' from the context menu, Adobe Acrobat is not shown (even after un-installing and re-installing Acrobat). So I 'browse' to the Program files (x86)
folder and select Adobe Acrobat (AcroRd32.exe) from within the Adobe Acrobat program folder to 're-associate' .pdf files with Acrobat.. BUT - this then changes ALL associations for everything (including shortcuts on the desktop) to Adobe Acrobat.
And the same can be said if I attempt to change the file association for a "docx" file extension (MS Word document). Change the 'association' for one single 'docx' file and this results in ALL files or shortcuts on the desktop to also
change to MS Word.
So - what the ...? Anyone have a clue as to what he's done on this "brand new" installation of Windows Home Premium (64-bit)? I only just (this past week) talked him into 'abandoning' XP in favor of a license of Windows 7 Home Premium,
and afterwards everything was 100% and fully operational - but now one week later and he's done this...
So... A registry issue..? Something to do with 'file association' defaults? (and my suspicion is some sort of 'dll' problem with this performance and the issue of not being able to configure 'program defaults' for any given file type without also affecting
all other associations...).
So,short of backing up all his data (out of precaution) and trying to do a 're-installation' of Windows, my most immediate response with this would be to just 'blow it away' and re-install Windows again ... and then copy all of his data back to the corresponding
locations. But I would like to know what he's possibly done (for future reference) and maybe learn of some possibility that this can be 'fixed' and the correct 'associations' re-established without having to re-install Windows one more time...

SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR spool overflow when submitting the same program

I am submitting the same program via job with different seletion screen values after JOB_OPEN, and then SUBMIT statement and JOB_CLOSE FM. But this job get cancelled with message "ABAP/4 processor: SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR" . The submit is as follows:

Is it possible to use the same program to be scheduled....Let me include that the submit is happening with rb_monit = X and it has separate branch...so infinite looping can not happen.

I hope that the flag is ensuring that it doesnt go into infinite loop. You may wish to check that once bcz Spool overflow seems to be bcz of infinite loop or bcz of layout issue.
Goto SP01 in the same client where you have scheduled the job.
Check the spool no. which was generated bcz of the job.
Double click on the STATUS of the spool ( it should be in red background color).
System will give a popup with status details.
Again double click on the status. System will again give a popup.
The popup will give the details of why the spool ran into errors.
Also check the layout.

Multiple layouts for the same user in the same portal

Hello.
I have a challenge.
Currently there is a portal (6.40) running as a frontend for an application. So the portal is used for only this purpose. The content is a changed masthead and a number of WebDynpros and UWL's all accessing the same backend.
Now there is a wish to use the same portal to execute a transaction iView for the same backend. Simple. BUT when a user uses the portal for the product he/she shall not see the transaction iView and also when the user sees the transaction iView, the WDs and UWL's should not be shown in the navigation. And also the masthead should be different on the two views.
Putting in another portal is not anoption, this should be done on the same portal. The way I expect it to work is by accessing the same portal og two different URL's.
Companies cannot be used since some of the users should be able to access poth views.
I know that in a prefect world it would simply be a matter of creating two different roles and assign them as needed and if the user has both roles hen they would both be available in the navigation. But to the user the portal should look like different portals.
Any suggestions on how to achieve this functionality?

Hi Thomas,
you have several options with the portal standard:
1.) If the user only has one role assigned at a time you can attach the portal layout to the roles. So depending on the role the user has he sees the respective layout - BUT: how to asign the two roles to the user!? This can only be done by admins and I assume that it is no intended to call the admins every time the user needs the other role?
2.) The entry to the portal is realized with different urls like http://yourportal.com/VIEW1 and http://yourportal.com/VIEW2.
VIEW1 and VIEW2 are so called portal aliases and you can attach the different layouts to those aliases.
BUT: the two roles have nothing to do with the aliases so you still have the problem of role assignment.
3.) Each person gets two users with each user assigned to one role and one layout assigned to the user or group or role...
Anyhow: I would ask the people who brought up the idea of two different layouts - WHY?? A portal is ONE single point of entry for EVERY application and information a user needs. So why two different layouts? And what, if five others are coming each bringing their own layouts, too?
4.) If you really want to have different layouts each time a different top-level navigation point is active you have to program your own portal component. That would fit your needs but is besides standard.

Why does Adobe Manager download and install 2 of the same programs?

Am I suppose to get more than one icon for each app? I have a (64bit) and it appears a 32bit both install when I download with Adobe Manager.
I have a fresh install of windows 8. -- probably the issue -- an upgrade from win7. I completely uninstalled all apps, did a fresh install of my upgrade, and kept no files, or settings. It however, did keep somethings with the new window.
Looking in my program list, I have the same program listed in (program files), and in ((86program files)), there is the 64bit program.
It seriously looks like I am downloading and insalling two seperate versions.... why?
I do have another desktop computer, which is older, and running window xp, and it is a 32bit system.
The main cpu I am using is a Dell.... (maybe that's the problem) laptop, Inspiron 1545

Photoshop installs both 32 and 64 bit versions on a 64-bit system when installing from the Adobe Application Manager using the Creative Cloud subscription.
