Multiple KeyPress - Ctrl + A to start an event

Hi All,
PL HELP....
The application require multiple keypress to trigger an
event, for example, press CTRL + A to go to other frame.
I have used the following function, It does not work out.

ok the issue here seems to be that this is within an
onEnterFrame event - this is not needed, it's continually tell the
timeline to play the label over and over - as a result, does
nothing.

I regularly need to open the same website in two tabs, to be able to view changes made between opening the first and second tabs. In Firefox 3.x I could press Ctrl+T and start typing the website title or URL, which would be auto-completed by Firefox. This enabled me to quickly open the same website in a second tab. Firefox 4 does not do this, instead it wants me to switch to the existing tab. This is not what I need.
Of course it is possible to open the same website in a second tab via e.g. a bookmark, but this takes more time and effort. It would be great if I could select Firefox's behavior in this situation.

To create a duplicate of an existing tab in Firefox 4, do one of the following:
*middle-click the icon on the left end of the URL/Location/Address Bar
*hold down the Ctrl key and drag the tab until a small arrow appears at the border between tabs, then release the mouse button, then release the Ctrl key.

Multiple Keypresses in FL 1.1

Hi guys,
How do you capture simultaneous multiple keypresses in FL
1.1? I used a key catcher (button) to catch all events like:

There are 2 objects on the stage and I want them to move up

I think Flash Lite only responds to 1 key press, and ignores
any subsequent key press, until the user releases the first
key.

Select multiple, press ctrl key

Hi experts,
Can we create a fields with 6 options. Instead of using a picklist, the user request to allow "Select multiple, press ctrl key". i.e. you see all the 6 options under the field in a single view, then select > press control > system will automatically highlighted the selected fields.

Are you asking about a multi-select picklist. It's a picklist field that allows you select multiple values? Yes you can create those but do a search as there is a posting on all the limitations to these fields at the moment.

How to start/stop Event Mgr. and RFID information server?

I take over our form RFID admin (who quit) position.
I cannot find any document which tells me How to start/stop Event Mgr. and RFID information server.
Even the "Sun Java System RFID Software 3.0 Administration Guide" does not have this piece of info.
Would you please help? Points guaranteed. Thanks!

Event for task not defined as start/end event

Hi all,
We get the following error in our inbox although the event seems to work as intended
Event ZIMEC006 APPROVED_REJECTED for task TS81700130 not defined as start/end event
If I go to the task TS81700130, the event APPROVED_REJECTED is defined as a terminating event(under the tab terminating events) with objecttype BO and object ZIMEC006 and the binding is ok
What could be the problem?

Hi,
The BO your using is a custom one,
If Yes Goto the BO, Release that Event,Save and generate the BO.
other wise, if you created a Subtype of the Std. BO, check that Z-event you created is released and the BO delegated to Std. BO, save and generate the BO.

Jobchain starts from events to much

Hello,
we have a few job chain how should start by event.
Some job chain should start, if all of 8 events are raised.
Our problem: This job chain starts one time per event but only if all events are raised. So the job chain is running 8 time parallel.
This job chains are not scheduled. They starts only by events.
We set "always" at "auto submit" by every event in "wait events" of every job chain.
Seting to "only one" or "never" didn't solve the problem.
What's right settings?
We use free version of CPS 8.0 .

Hi,
You should configure one of the wait events on your for auto-submit, the rest for never.
This way, the chain will only be triggered once by that one event, but still see the other events.
The alternative is to set all wait events on your chain to "never", and automatically submit the chain via other means.
If it should run for instance each day somewhere after 18:00, you can run it daily at 18:00. It will still also wait for the events.
You can also configure it to "restart on completed" with for instance a 5 minute gap.
Given your comment that it is completely event driven, the second alternative solution is probably a better alternative for you.

We have noticed that all those GCs returned from GC start/finish events are not only Full GCs (which are stop world GC specified as in JVMTI spec if I understand it correctly) in JVMTI. It is not like in JVMPI. Is it a right behavior? Should only stop world GCs be reported by GC start/finish events per JVMTI spec?

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Event DRAW CHANGED for task TS90000016 not defined as start/end event

i have created a workflow with one task, this task is of object type DRAW and the method is CHANGED. and i want to trigger this task when the status of a document changes to completed.
Now when i change the status of a document to completed, the workflow is starting but then throwing an exception. Here is what i am getting, any ideas as to why ?

Event linkage with errors deactivated
from the swel event trace i am getting the following:

then i get the following:

 If you want the task to be executed without any agent intervention follow this:
In the transaction PFTC_DIS OR PFTC_CHG open your standard task and
 see whether you have checked the ' background processing' option in
 execution category.
It seems the "changed" method in Draw object is synchronous - so you
 dont need any terminating events.
 else
check for the bindings in workflow and make sure you dont make any
 container with import parameter as mandatory.
 Hope this will solve the problem.

Starting HAL causes multiple keypresses

Whenever I start HAL either from an already running system or at boot it causes every keyboard press to register multiple times. I think it might be related to hotplugging and possibly since I have the keyboard and such configured manually through xorg.conf

ICal sends multiple emails for invites and updates to event attendees - HELP!

Every time I create or send an event in iCal, it sends multiple emails to each attendee (2-3 duplicate emails) with the same event. So if I have 3 event invitees, they get 3 emails each. All the emails are sent from the correct account in Apple Mail, and the calendar itself shows only one email address for each attendee, but for some reason the sent folder shows that each person was emailed 2-3 times. This is causing quite a problem for work, as any invite I send is clogging up inboxes with duplicate and triplicates for each attendee.
When I send a meeting acceptance, it only sends one reply, so I have no idea why it's duplicating or triplicating events when new ones are sent out or udpated by me. I can't delete my calendar without losing important events from clients or what not, so I'm not sure what to do.
Also notable:
I am NOT using iCloud calendars as I needed to create a calendar group and iCloud didn't support that.
My calendar is syncing to an FTP so that people in my main office can view and download my calendar as needed.
I am on a brand new (not even 2 mos old) MacBook Pro Retina 2013 model, with OS X 10.8.3
I am on Calendar 6.0
I can't change/update events on my calendar from one sub-calendar to another once they are created (though I can edit on my iPhone and resync). This is really annoying and I've posted about this before to no avail (thread here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/21646850#21646850 and here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3920017?start=0&tstart=0).
For now (for this thread) I'd like any help possible in getting my calendar to send just ONE email to meeting attendees when I create and/or update an event.

I have the same issue. Did you get a resolution to this? Whenever I add a new person to the meeting invite iCal always resends the entire invite...it should just send the invite to newly added participants.

Multiple entries in TEVEN for one time event created by HR-PDC

Hi experts,
we have a SAP certified time attendance system connected to our ERP 6.0 system by HR-PDC interface.
Now it happens from time to time that exactly one time event causes multiple entries in SAP table TEVEN and therefore is shown in the check report PT40.
The number of duplicate records is always different - up to about 140 entries for one and the same time event in the worst case.
Except the field PDSNR all the other fields contain exactly the same values.
I have checkt many of the problematic bookings and I have always just one correct time event in the source application and there is only one data record in the corresponding IDOC too.
Also the number of transferred records shown in the protocol spool of the report SAPCDT45 is correct and identical to the number of records in the IDOC.
The first place where I can identify the problem with the duplicate records is the table TEVEN.
No records are left in the interface table CC1TEV.
I have seen that within one block of identical time bookings in TEVEN the field PDSNR ist not numbered in one sequence but there are gaps in between that are used for any other entries.
As I can see in historical entries of TEVEN the problem exists already for years so it does not seem to be in direct connection with the latest support pack or something like that.
The relevant jobs run every 15 minutes whereby SAPCDT45 is started 5 minutes after RPTCC106.
Has anyone else experienced this strange behaviour or knows what I could further investigate?

It seems that an entry for Status A00 or A05 would solve my problems and of course I will try to handle it by this view.
But do you know whether there is any possibility to find out how it comes to these repeated postings?
I do not know whether the repeated postings happen in the same package (IDOC) or in an earlier package and to be honest I do not think that the record comes from the source application a second time because there I could find only one record that seems to be correct.
I also cannot understand how it comes that I have even 140 "identical" entries for one time event.
Could you please let me know your thoughts about that?
Anyway I thank you for offering a solution - even if I do not understand the reason for the pborlem.

Listening for multiple keypresses simultaneously

I'm trying to move a rectangle around with arrow keys.
The current code of keyPressed method is

It seems to me that the problems mentioned in that link with the "hold" could be solved with using a state flag set on keyPressed and then reset on keyReleased. When you release even one you should get the keyReleased event and until then, you should be in a hold state.

Imovie 09 hangs on start-up, events and projects won't load

been using imovie 09 with no problems since it came out
editing some footage today - I quit out of imovie - when I opened it again later - it opens up without the splash screen, doesn't load any projects or events (they remain untouched in movies folder) - menu items seem accessible - computer gets hot - imovie is constantly using round 20% of CPU - and then imovie crashes
wasn't doing anything strange just before - tried trashing the preferences but to no effect - any more suggestions?

sorry but I didn't get console logs - pity, since after this problem with iMovie started then the finder started crashing intermittently, and other programmes behaved strangely
I was wrong when I said I'd had no problems with iMovie 09 - should have said I had no problems with iMovie 08 - earlier today was the first intensive use of 09
since I have other unrelated deadlines to meet that I need my machine for and I keep regular multiple backups - I decided not to waste time troubleshooting but revert to a backup from before I started messing with iMovie - just waiting for that to complete so I can get on with my work
I really have no idea what happened - not a newbie, been using macs since 85 - never experienced this before, well, not since pre-OS X days - so I just stay clear of iMovie 09 for now
as I said, sorry not to have looked at the console logs so you could figure what went wrong - besides working in iMovie 09 I was also exporting some projects to iDVD - maybe it was something to do with the interaction between the two
now back to work
