Multiple Mach Moves

I'm working on a project where I have to have two circles follow around a character's eyes.  I'm using the match move effect, but everytime I put in the behaviour I have to analyze twice - once for each eye.  Is there a way to analyze both simoultaneously?

Two different movments, two different analysis.
But why not just do one.  Then create the shape for the second eye, and use a Link behavior to link position parmameters from the first one to the second one.

  • How to get radio behavior for multiple embedded movies on a single page?

    Hi,
I've got a single XHTML page with multiple embedded movie objects. The movies all play fine. I would like to convert the page to achieve a radio-style behavior for the movies so only one is running at any time. That is, if I click on a movie that's not running, the movie that is running will stop before the new movie begins. Any ideas on how this can be achieved? This might be more of a javascript question, but I was hoping somebody might have already done something similar. Thanks.

    Roy,
It's an ugly solution but you can always add a hidden dummy structure item or KF and add all variables in the first executed query in the workbook.
    - Find the query that has the most of the infobjects used in the other queries.
    - Make sure this query is executed first in WB by removing/adding it in WB.
    - Create the hidden dummy KF and add all the extra variables to this KF.
Solution usually works fine for me, but its not really feasible if the queries are have to many different infoobjects.

  • One USB HD with Multiple AEBS, Move from NAS/File Server

Okay to explain my question I'll describe what i want to do. If this is possible i would buy 2 airport extremes, and one USB HD. I would then use the USB HD to do TimeMachine backups to an Airdisk. I would like to then be able to take the USB HD with me when i go to work, and be able to do Airdisk backups there, having connected the same USB drive to different TC or AEBS, and afterwards, obviously bring it home and continue doing backups there. Is this at all possible? Has anyone tried? Can i at least browse my backups after having connected them to a different AEBS?
Another question is, up until now i have been using an "unsupported" backup to my Linux File Server over netatalk. I did this, mainly because i have raid, and my data can't really be lost this way. Is there anyway to move this backup to an Airdisk? I read something here about different formats being used to save data on different types of backups. The share is on a partition that is formated ext3, if that helps at all. Oh and the backup itself is a sparseimage.
    Thanks for your replies,
    Dmitry

It should work fine, but you may run out of space quickly if you back up multiple computers to the disk.

  • ?? burn multiple iMovie movies onto one dvd with iDVD

I understand how to burn a single iMovie project onto a dvd by using the share menu to share with iDVD. But how can i burn multiple iMovie projects with iDVD onto one disc??

You can share the first movie from iMovie, but all the others will need to be exported from iMovie as movies and dragged into the iMovie project.

  • Multiple layers movie

At our company we have a project in which we use multiple layers (z-index) for a website.
    A background layer
    A layer with a movie-frame
    A layer with a presenter
A layer with buttons and actions
Now is my question how to resolve this best in Flex.  We were able to do it in PHP and Flash, but the result (quality) isn't optimal.
The layer with the presenter is a filmed presenter in front of a greenscreen (and then a cut-out), but this result isn't sharp enough.
Does anyone know how we can build this in Flex, with a minimal loss of quality?

  • One script for multiple loaded movie clips

    Hello,
I am sure that this has been asked or answered before, but
could not locate the correct response.
    Problem:
There are 20 movie clips loaded onto the stage through
actionscript. I have 20 different onPress scripts to start the drag
for each (which also contain custom variable).
Problem, I have one single onRelease script which is to be
used for each, but do now wish to give 20 custom handled scripts.
Can I somehow use certain scripting for using one single
generic script for the onRelease? So no matter what was released it
will go through this one script.
    Thanks

    like this...
    activate
set the_folder to choose folder with prompt "Select the folder you want to add folders to..."
    tell application "Finder"
    set the_name to "Name"
    set the_count to 3
    repeat with this_num from 1 to the_count
set new_num to this_num as string
    if (count new_num) is 1 then set new_num to "0" & new_num
    make new folder at the_folder with properties {name:the_name & " " & new_num}
    end repeat
    end tell

  • Execution of multiple goods movements in one operation

    Hi,
Does anyone know of any SAP standard functionality for executing several movememts of materials in one operation?
For example, is it possible to execute first mvt type 321 for a material, directly followed by a 301 - in one transaction (without posting material with 321 and then use another transaction to do the 301)?
Of course the number of material documents and accouting documents should be the same as if you executed with 2 transactions.
Is this something we need to configure or program? We dont use RF in the warehouse.
    Regards,
    Ola

    Hi,
The several movements of materials in one operation can be executed in MIGO transaction, but the 321 movement is not defined for the MM movement type.
It cannot be done in any MM movement type,it should cleared with QM side only.
So the rest of any movement can be excuted in single operation.
But in QM view they can do in single operation say if 10 stock was in quality, they can move 5 to unrestricted (321), 2 piece to degrade material ,material to material transfer (309), 1 piece to scrap (551)
1 to vendor return (102).So in QM point they can do in one operation many movements for particular material in quality stock.

  • Help with multiple flash movies in same website

I'm trying to create a website in dreamweaver. I created the
artwork in fireworks. a slice of it i exported to flash to create
rolling clouds over the background. i also want in the same swf
file a screen for my main content. ( I used a scrollPane component
that works nice. But for each button on my web menu (home,
schedule, ect...), I want to be able to put new content in my
scrollPane. My buttons don't reside in my flash movie. Do I need to
create a new movie for each web page?
I'm not sure how to procede.
    Can anybody help?
    brad

It seems that when you import an external flash movie into
Captivate 1, the full path is...
    "_level0.slide0__image_mc.s0_i9_swf_mc.m_swf_mc"
...this was the start of the solution for my problem so I
thought it best to post in case it helps out anyone else.
BTW - The slide number changes (obviously) and so does the
'i' reference depending on the attributes you have given to your
    imported movies.

  • Switch between multiple quicktime movies on a single page

I want them to play in a single window but use clickable links to switch between .mov files. I am working in DW CS5.

It depends on the code you are using to play the movies but it could be done with javascript.  Although unless you are streaming the Quicktime movies, like a youtube, you will be forcing the user to download all the movies to load the page.  If they are not setup to stream then you might want to load a separate page for each movie.  If you show us the code you are currently using to play the movie we can help you through the process.

  • Multiple flash movies on 1 web page?

So, I'm working on a new site. Very graphical and will have a
lot of cool bells and whistles. At first, I was creating it
entirely in flash but I abandoned the idea because I just can't
help but click the back button when I feel I need to, and doing
that takes you all the way back to the previous HTML page instead
of previous thing in the flash movie and it gets annoying fast, and
I know if it happens to me it'll happen to plenty of others. So, I
was thinking about just building it as html/dhtml with all the cool
css tricks everyone and their mom are doing these days.
The old versions was set up with one big movie for the
interface, and smaller movies for the content that get loaded in
with the loader component. Worked pretty well. So, I was thinking..
what if I still kept those content pieces and loaded them in over
the HTML, using DHTML to position stuff and the little
wmode=transparent thingy so you can still see the background HTML
bitz that need to be there. I mean, I know it can be done and how
to do but my question is, what if I want to have the menu in flash
too? and maybe the site logo animated? Or a rotating flash add at
the top that's loading in a few different ads and cycling through
each one like a slideshow? Will 3-4 different flash elements on 1
page be bad? My first guess is it will slow things down a lot, but
will it? I mean, it's not HUGE files it's more like smaller bits..
logo, menu, ad and content .. the content will mostly just be text
and some photos, nothing too fancy. I don't want it to slow down
people's computers OR take forever to load/display (which it
shouldn't). So it will be HTML pages loading in flash movies, so
the back button will finally work!
The reason I'm considering doing this is more for font issues
than anything else, and some cool transparency effects I can
accomplish with smaller files and better compatibility than if I
    use PNG files
Any thoughts? is this a good idea or should I just try to do
it all with DHTML stuff? I can do it that way, i was just thinking
using Flash might be easier & better for some parts...

Yes, it is fine to do that.

  • Track Multiple States(Moves) in a game

    Hello,
For one of my classes, we are writing a Mancala game and have an undo button to take back 3 moves. I am using ObjectOutputStream to save the file and reload the saved file if someone clicks undo.
The problem I am having is that I have to keep track of last 3 states (not one which I am doing). Any suggestions?
    Thanks and happy thanksgiving ;)

    kevinaworkman wrote:
Why don't you just have a Stack of those game states? When you click undo, just load the state that's on top of the stack. For all we know the OP may already be using the javax.swing.undo package, in which case a Stack would just be a crude version of the data structure already in use. But we haven't been told that. It would really help to know how the undo and redo processing is being handled in the existing code before trying to recommend changes to it.
Oops, sorry... we have indeed been told that, and the undo/redo strategy is to simply serialize the state of the game to a file. And apparently that doesn't scale to more than one level of undo. So, if you were stuck on that strategy, you could serialize the state to more than one file, and keep track of the files... using a Stack if you liked!

  • IMovie Web Gallery Issues with Multiple Size Movie

If I upload a medium and large size versions of the same movie to my web gallery it stores the two movies successfully. If I visit the site I'm presented with my album of the two sized movies. I click on that thumbnail and another page opens up showing the medium movie downloading. There is text to click for Medium and Large verions of the movie below the display area. If I click Large a refreshed page appears. I have to wait for the medium moving to finish downloading before the large movie starts. Why doesn't the medium move abort when you click the Large link? Despite both movies have been downloaded if I click on the medium movie text link the movie starts downloading again.
Also, I can't delete the medium movie from the web gallery without deleting the large movie. I have to upload the large movie again.
Any work-a-rounds. This doesn't sound right.
    Kelvin

I don't know the answer (..so perhaps I shouldn't be replying..) but I can confirm that the same thing happens for me.
There's no × available at the top-left of the gallery page, either, to stop the download, to enable quicker swapping to another size.

  • Multiple Flash Movies in Captivate 1.0

    ok, heres the problem!
I have imported a sound control into captivate which gives me
better savings on the audio file size rather than letting captivate
do the compression. These controls are limited to play and pause.
well the problem is that I forgot to add a 'rdcmndPause = 1'
command to the pause button actionscript and a subsequent
'rdcmndResume = 1'. So although the narration is pausing and
playing as you would expect, unfortunetly the slides are still
    playing onwards.
has anyone taken a stab at controlling imported flash
    animations from other movies?
I suppose the concept is that rather than re-export all of my
narration files across again with the additional actionscript I
would like to be able to add a small 'widget' which checks the
status of the sound file and acts accordingly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • KN 4.0.2 QuickTime Export of slide containing multiple QT movies fails

Anyone got a work round for this?
Created a single 1920x1080 slide. Inserted on to that slide 7 separate QT files (in various originating formats form standard .mov to .m4v). Overlaid over a still image.
Played back fine in Keynote. But refused to export to QuickTime, to iPod, or to Flash. Only issue seems to be the multipel QT formats?
    Solutions?
    Thanks in advance

  • Too much latency between multiple motor moves

I have measured the time between motor moves, and noticed a latency of 10 - 20 ms. If the subsequent motor move does NOT need to change velocity, acceleration, deceleration, etc (in other words, after move 1, a call is made directly for move 2 with the same values), there is a latency of 10^-10 (using the time stamp features). As soon as I add a block between two motor moves which changes the 2nd motor move's accel, decel, vel, etc, It adds 10-20ms in between.
Is there a way to avoid this long time spent between these moves?

The example that I mentioned in my first answer should do almost exactly what you request.
    - In the first iteration of the loop the first move is started with the Start Motion.
    - The inner while loop iterates only once in this case as the blend complete flag is set immediately after Start Move.
    - In this state the first move is still running and the target position is loaded for the next move. If you want you can also move load velocity and load acceleration into the while loop to update these values for your move.
    - In the next step Blend Motion is called (the first move is still running)
    - The inner while loop checks if the first move is finished. The subsequent move is started (blended) automatically then without a delay.
    - The vi exits the inner loop and loads the new parameters for the next move while the second move is running and so on.
Of course it takes some time to download the parameters but as long as your moves take longer than the time needed for the execution of these functions (load velocity, acceleration and target position) you won't get any delay between the moves. If the duration of the moves is actually shorter than this time (you mentioned 4-5 ms) then you should use contouring instead of blending (see examples).
You can find more information about blending, contouring and other motion control concepts here.
