Multiple source and single target

Hi,
I have 3 users in informatica and i wanted to find out tablespace size in gb and mb
SELECT
     '$$TABLESPACE_NAME',
     SYSDATE,
SUM(BYTES) / 1024 / 1024 / 1024 size_in_gb,
     SUM(BYTES) / 1024 / 1024 size_in_mb
FROM user_segments
WHERE tablespace_name like '%$$TABLESPACE_NAME%'
i confugred this wf and it has 3 session task and each session task confugured with one user but in wf connection details i can able to add only 1 parameter i.e. dbconnection_oltlp and dbconnecion_olap
so what is happening it is reading size for one user only i.e. for dbconnection_oltlp and dbconnecion_olap.what about remaining users.i.e. remaining session task is getting failed
i.e. dbConneciton_olap2
thanks
Chinu

Hi
I have 3 different session task in one workflow and each of them have different source now i want the parameters should generate automatically in paramaeters tab of DAC
because when i am adding above query in informatica it is reading only one connection which confugured in task i.e. is not reading remaing 2 sources
i.e. dbconnection_oltp and dbconnection_olap---session--1--reading it because confugred in task confugrtion of DAC)
dbconnection_oltp1 and dbconnection_olap1---session-2(different source and target-not hitting to this connection)
etc
thanks

  • Transform data from multiple sources to single target in bpel 10.13.1.0

    Hi,
I need to transform data from mulitple sources to single target schema.
Please any one can give some idea.
    Regards
    janardhan

We are gone a other way merge multiple information into one target.
First we have created a wrapper variable with the structure of the target variable that we want use in the transformation.
With a assign element we filled the wrapper variable with information from the inputvariable of the bpel process and some addtional information.
Then we called in the transformation the wrapper variable as source and the target variable as target.
We have used that way in some bpel process and it works for us.
Within Oracle SOA Suite 11g, there is the mediator component that does simply routing
and transformation functionality within a composite (SCA).
That's all, I hope that help.

  • Open Hub - Data from multiple sources to single target

    Hello,
I am using Open Hub to send the data from SAP BI to Flat files. I have a requirement where I want to create a single destination from multiple sources. In other words in BI we have different tables for attributes and text. I would like to combine the data from attributes  and text into a single file. For eg. I want to have material attributes and text in the same single file as output.
Is this possible in Open Hub? If yes could you please help me to understand the process.
    Thanks,
    KK

    Hi,
    1. Create the Info Spoke and activate it
    2. Change it and go to transformation
    3. Check the box InfoSpoke with Transf. Using BAdI
    4. You are asked if you want to generate the spoke. Say yes & Simply set some texts and activate here, then return.
    5. You can now change the target structure. Simply create a Z structure with all the attributs & text field in it in the SE11 and enter it here.
    6. Double click on BAdI implementation & then double click again on "TRANSFORM" method of the implementation. It will take you to method
    "IF_EX_OPENHUB_TRANSFORM~TRANSFORM"
    7. Write a code to select & fill the text field & map other filed with the attribute fields.
    Example:
    ZEMPLOYEE_ATTR_STRU - Target Structure for InfoSpoke EMPLOYEE_ATTR
    EMPLOYEE     /BI0/OIEMPLOYEE     NUMC     8     0     Employee
    DATETO     /BI0/OIDATETO     DATS     8     0     Valid to
    DATEFROM     /BI0/OIDATEFROM     DATS     8     0     Valid from
    COMP_CODE     /BI0/OICOMP_CODE     CHAR     4     0     Company code
CO_MST_AR     /BI0/OICO_MST_AR     CHAR     4     0     Controlling Area of Master Cost Center
    HRPOSITION     /BI0/OIHRPOSITION     NUMC     8     0     Position
    MAST_CCTR     /BI0/OIMAST_CCTR     CHAR     10     0     Master Cost Center
TXTMD     RSTXTMD     CHAR     40     0     Medium description
Note: Text and attribute are in same structure.

  • Support for PostgreSQL as a source and/or target in DS XI3.2 SP2

    Hi,
I've noticed that PostgreSQL is not mentionned in the supported database connectivity for Data Services XI 3.2 SP2 (Windows), but it is also stated that "3rd Party ODBC Level 2-compliant Drivers may potentially have issues as not all combinations have been tested yet, but are supported as a general rule."
Does it means that we could use PostgreSQL (v8.0 or v8.4) as a source and/or target with PostgreSQL ODBC connectors ?
    Thanks,
    Olivier

    Hi Fabrice,
I may not have been clear enough, but when I said in my first post that "PostgreSQL is not mentionned in the supported database connectivity for Data Services XI 3.2 SP2 (Windows)", it meant that I've already read the PAR for Data Services XI 3.2 SP2.
I'm looking for precisions and advices about ODBC to generic data sources, where this document says that ODBC level 2-compliant drivers, although not fully tested, are supported as a general rule.
I wonder if it applies to PostgreSQL ODBC or Datadirect ODBC drivers for PostgreSQL.

    Olivier

  • Transparent Partion with three sources and one target- Need quick response

I am creating transparent partion with three sources and one target. What will be the impact of this on retrieval and how can I improve retrieval.
    Thanks,

    transparent partion
    1:network load will be heavy
2:transparent partion allows user to manipulate or edit or delete at will ,from the user to target
and also from target u can update it back to respective databases
3: disk usage will be high

  • SAP System copy without shutting down the source and the target system

    Hi,
We need to need to System refresh without shutting down both the source and the target system, i read the docs from SAP looks like we need to shutdown the source system during export and import phase, is there any way to do the system refresh without shutting down the system.
    Sathish

    Hi,
Think a little bit about what is a database and you'll get the answer that what you "need to need" is impossible.
Of course it is possible to keep the source running (hopefully, because ususally it is the production system !) by using an online backup, but you need to stop the target system because you will restore a backup on it.
If you use the export/import way, you have to stop both source and target system.

  • How can i import the data from multiple sources into single rpd in obiee11g

how can i import the data from multiple sources into single rpd in obiee11g

    Hi,
to import from multiple data sources, first configure ODBC connections for respective data sources. then you can import data from multiple data sources. When you import the data, a connection pool will create automatically.

  • Multiple sources with single downstream capture

Is it possible to have multiple source machines all send their redo logs to a single downstream capture DB that will collect LCRs and queue the LCRs for all the source machines?

Yes, that's wht downstream replication is all about. read the 11G manual if you want to know how to do that.

  • Multiple SRM and single ECC in landscape

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where we need to implement SRM 7 in one region (so that we are able use the new features) and continue with SRM 4 for the other regions. Both the SRM systems will connect to the single ECC 5 system in the landscape.
Has anyone implemented a similar scenario where multiple SRM systems are connected to one ECC system
What are the problems that one will encounter.
Self service procurement, Supplier self services and strategic sourcing are the scenarios that are currently configured.
Contract management may be used in the future
Any suggestion / idea will be greatful
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
yes, it's possible to link the same ECC backend system to different SRM systems (with different releases). We have also a scenario like this.
The only problem what comes up to my mind is, that you need to take care about the number ranges (as the PO, RS... number ranges are from the point of view external numbers).

  • Problem with Date - Text File Source and Oracle Target

    Hi All,
I have a source data (text file) with date column in the format of 'MM/DD/YYYY'. My target is oracle. I am using the LKM FILE TO SQL and IKM SQL Control Append. When i execute this interface, i am getting an error as
    7000 : null : com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.file.b.i
    com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.file.b.i
    at com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.file.b.f.getColumnClassName(f.java)
    at the Load Data step.
How to load date columns from text file to oracle tables? Please help me in resolving this...
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ram Mohan T

The worst solution is to define for your text file the date as a string and then to rebuild your date type in Oracle.
    something like
    convert(Substr(myfield,4,2)||Substr(myfield,1,2)||Substr(myfield,7,4) ,'MMDDYYYY')
this is maybe the worst solution but it should work.

  • Regarding multi sources to single target

    Hi all,
In which case( business need) we will go for multi messages to a single one(n:1) mapping.
so far I have encountered 1:n but not vice versa.
Please explain business need and give some blogs to practice.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Imagine you receive an order, call an RFC to do a lookup for a partner number and send the order to a receiver system with the partner number obtained from the RFC.
You will create an integration process that first receives the order. It then calls the RFC and the output from the RFC is stored in the container.
In order to create the output order, data from the first order is needed, as well as the output from the RFC. In order to do this, you call a mapping that takes two input documents (the original order and the response from the RFC) and map those to the output order.
This blog gives an example of another multi-mapping scenario: <a href="/people/pooja.pandey/blog/2005/07/27/idocs-multiple-types-collection-in-bpm">IDOCs (Multiple Types) Collection in BPM</a>

  • Hummingbird source and single sign on

Has anyone been able to accomplish single sign on use hummingbird data source?
    thx
    rf

First, grab a copy of "Fiddler" at - http://www.fiddler2.com/Fiddler2/version.asp
Then you can connect to your OWA server and in the Fiddler capture it will give you the POST paramters. ***Keep in mind, if you use HTTPS for OWA, go to Fiddler, Tools, Fiddler Options, Check the box labeled "Capture HTTPS CONNECTs and also "Decrypt HTTPS traffic".
You then take that information to the bookmark you have created in the ASA and then put the information in exactly as it shows from capture to the POST parameters.
So for username/password if you are using the same credentials as your webvpn login, your post would have CSCO_WEBVPN_USERNAME and password would be CSCO_WEBVPN_PASSWORD for example.

  • Single access point with multiple ssids and single channel possible?

    Hi everybody.
    I have this silly question.
Let say we have three vlans, vlan1,2,3  and they are mapped to wlans as follows:
    Vlan 1  ssid1
    Vlan 2 ssid2
    Vlan3 ssid 3
                      AP --------trunk------Switchted network.
Our Ap  has mobile devices in three wlans, i.e ssid1ssid2 and ssid3
Since AP uses half duplex mode,  mobile devices need positive ack from ap  before they can send data,  therefore once channel let say channel 3( assuming 802.11b is used) can be shared by all mobile devices in three wlans.
    Is  my understanding correct?
Thanks and have a great weekend.

    Hii ,
Yes ,that is pretty much possible as suggested by other experts on board. Depending on your access point you will have 1 (2.4 GHz) or  both 2.4 & 5GHz radios.
You can configure multiple SSIDs (up to 16 ) known as MBSSID mode in autonomous environment. In Controller based architecture you can configure up to 512 WLAN (SSID) and transmit any 16 of them per AP (using AP group feature). However , it is recommended to keep multiple SSID count below 8 as for each SSID separate beacon will be sent on air which consumes more air time.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Table holding:     Source    and APDu00B4s     Target

    Hi guys,
been browsing sdn and net for a table where we can see/ search APD´s by DataTarget / DataSource
Checked the functionality from RSANWB but could not find anything like that either.
Think could be quite useful when trying to find out which DataTargets are affected by which APD´s, or from which DataSources come from
    thks,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,
    Table "RSANT_PROCESSI" might help.
    good luck,
