Multiple xsd's for one xml file

Hi Experts,
My scenario is HTTP to IDoc. My client is sending me XML file as input. I have got 4 XSD's from that XML file. I imported them into PI with giving references by using new importing method with refenences. I have got 4 XSD's imported succesfully into PI with the references in external references tab.
Tha problem is each XSD is creating multiple messages(splitted) in PI. I can't use any one message in mapping becuase no message has full message to map with the output. One message has reference to the other message.
Please suggest me how to proceed...
Thanks-
Ramesh.

There should be a Main XSD which will refer the other (4) XSDs....right now you seem to be importing the XSDs independently.
If XSD1 is referring XSD2, XSD2 is referring XSD3 and so on.....then XSD1 will form your Main XSD and then each XSD will have a separate reference to the next XSD.....all the XSDs need to be imported in XI.
For example, create Data-types DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4 and provide a reference between them....DT2 in DT1, DT3 in DT2, DT4 in DT3....ultimately DT1 will refer all the other strcutures.....I hope this is what you are looking for.

  • Multiple db connections for one report

    Hi all,
I am using Oracle Reports 10g R2. Could someone tell me if Oracle Reports supports multiple database connections for one rdf file, like this (using servlet)
    http://your_web_server:port_num/reports/rwservlet?server=server_name&report=myreport.rdf& userid1=username/password@my_db1&userid2=username/password@my_db2 &desformat=pdf&destype=cache
I am asking this question because my report needs data from two separate Oracle databases.
    Edited by: user12239004 on Apr 27, 2010 2:14 AM

No, you can only have one login.
However, this is simple to resolve by creating a database link in one database to the other database.

  • Loading multiple tables from one xml-file

I've got one xml-file containing information which should be loaded into multiple database tables. How can I do that?

Please use XSLT to tranform to XML file with XSU recognized format and separated for different table input.
You may refer to Example in book "Building Oracle XML Applications".

  • SDDM 3.3.EA2 one xml file for each table?

    Dear Philip!
We'd like to have xml-files for all of our tables. To be more precise one xml file for each table so we can check it in in our configuration management system (CCC Harvest)
Is it possible to write such a transformation script and, I really believe that can be done, can you please point us in the right direction, how to do that?
    Thanks in advance
    Guenter

    Hi Gunter,
if you want each table to be stored in separate XML file then you needn't to do anything. Each table is stored in separate file in design directory structure - foreign keys are not included, each FK is stored in separate file.
The ID of the table is used as file name. Each table has presentation in each physical model so you'll find file with same name (table ID) in each physical model.
Please elaborate on that if you want something else.

Use XSU to store in multiple tables.
"XSU can only store data in a single table. You can store XML across tables, however, by using the Oracle XSLT processor to transform a document into multiple documents and inserting them separately. You can also define views over multiple tables and perform insertions into the views. If a view is non-updatable (because of complex joins), then you can use INSTEAD OF triggers over the views to perform the inserts."

  • Load Multiple Tables (schemas) from same XML file

    Hi,
This is first time i am working XML files.
I have one XML file with two tables (schema). I need to load those two tables into two different Target tables.
This is the startegy to choose tables.
    <Entry type="full"> --Table 1
    <Entry type="short">--Table 2
I am try to find the tables like this using condition split (Type == "Full" ) but tables are not splitting as expected, is am i going with wrong approach??
Can anyone suggest me to process multiples tables from same XML file??

    Hi Naveen,
After the issue in my environment, the package works well that the data in the XML file load to two destination tables based on one column values. The screenshot is for your reference:
To troubleshoot this issue, could you please check the values in the type column? Verify the values have exactly the same characters, case sensitivity. It seems that you haven’t write correct values in the Conditional Split Transformation. They should be like

  • Writing multiple arrays to a single xml file at seperate times without overwriting the previous file?

    Hi my name is Dustin,
I am new to labview and teststand... I am trying to right multiple arrays of data to a single xml file. I can do this with a cluster but I have to create a variable for each of those arrays (21 arrays) and I was hoping to use the same variable for each array. Meaning I obtain my array of data write it to an xml file then replace that array in that variable with a new array and then call up my VI that writes that array to an xml file and write it to the same xml file underneath the first array without overwriting it. Attached is my VI I created to write an array to an xml file. Again I am wondering if there is a way to write multiple arrays to a single xml file at different times without overwriting the previous xml file.
    Thanks

  • Problems with mapping after bundling messages into one XML-file

    Hi all,
Case 1: one DebMas IDoc ==> XI ==> one XML-file : no problems with mapping.
    Case 2: several DebMas IDoc's ==> XI ==> one XML-file : problems with mapping.
    Explanation:
    Incoming DebMas IDoc's:
Businesspartner 1 : no Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM).
Businesspartner 2 : Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM).
Businesspartner 3 : Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM).
Businesspartner 4 : Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM).
    After bundling into one XML-file:
Businesspartner 1 : no Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM).
Businesspartner 2 : no Customer Master Partner Functions (E1KNVPM) !!!!
    Businesspartner 3 : Customer Master Partner Functions of Bp 2 (E1KNVPM) !!!!.
    Businesspartner 4 : Customer Master Partner Functions of Bp 3 (E1KNVPM) !!!!.
All the payloads of the IDoc's are correct.
In the message mapping we use a Container for the Partner Functions (shown as below)
Is this a serious bug in the mapping of SAP XI ?
Does anyone knows how to solve this serious problem.
    E1KNVVM -
    > Partner_Container
    E1KNVPM -
    > Partner
       PARVW -
    > ParnerRole
       KUNN2   -
    > PartnerNumber
    Regards,
    Theo Pijlman

    Hi,
    Example:
Input idoc has field F1 with occurence 0..unbnd
My input values for field F1 is
    1
    none
    2
    3
    Say, I have a mapping, F1---->TargetF1
In the target only 3 TargetF1s will be created for the values 1,2,3 and nothing will be created for the field F1 with no value.
To overcome this, use collapse contexts.
    F1->collapsecontexts>TargetF1
This way, the TargetF1 fields created will have the following values:
    1
    blank
    2
    3
Collapse contexts makes sure that a target is created, even if there is a context change specified at the source.
    Hope this is clear.
    Regards,
    Smitha.

  • Multiple XSL's from one XML?

So I've got this XML file pointing to an XSL stylesheet, and
its working great (client-side goin' on here), and yet I begin to
wonder about the efficiency improvements (since I took data from 3
HTML pages, and coded it as one XML file) if you can only apply one
XSL stylesheet to one XML file. Kinda defeats the purpose if you
have to write two more XML files for two more XSL stylesheets, eh?
Then I'd be left with 6 files where I started with 3, and the same
management nightmare. Anyone have a solution to this perplexity,
cause it doesn't seem like its been solved easily in the forums
here or anywhere I can find on the Web. I'm thinking maybe
conditionals, but I'm not sure where to go from there. Thanks in
    advance!

I'm going to need a little more detail. I have very little
ASP experience. Are you saying to use the <xsl:include> tag
in the individual XSL Stylesheets to pull only the data I want from
the XML file? That's the idea. I've already got different repeat
areas setup in three different XSL files, each pulling different
areas of the XML file. But then, how would I direct the browser to
display the correct XSL file to begin with, when the original call
to display it is just a link to the XML file, which can only push
out one of the XSL files to the viewer?

  • Combining multiple Tax Authorities onto one Mag file

I am trying to include multiple tax authorities to one Mag File layout. I have followed the directions provided in the 2009 Year end Tax reporter configuration guide, but the individual tax authorities are still not printing on one Mag file.
    Briefly:
    1. Created new MAG file
    2. Assiged it to default level form
    3. Updated T5UX4 AND T5UX5
Yet PU19 still shows individual files for the tax authorities
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Roscoe

    Hello,
I dont think you can combine multiple tax authority to one mag media. Each authority require data's that are relevant only for there authority, they are not interested in other authority data. And also each authority provide specific format how the data should be submitted to them.

  • XML publisher report not generating output for huge XML files

Changed Depreciation Projections Report output type to XML.
Defined a Data Definition and a new Data Template (RTF) for this report.
Ran the Depreciation Projection Report to generate the XML output.
Ran the XML Report Publisher report to generate teh PDF/Excel output of the above report.
Output generated for smaller XML files. When XML size is big, the program is running for hours without generating the output.
Teh RTF template is basically a matrix report in which the number of columns in the report is based on the number of periods the report is run for.
The same is not working in the Desktop version also. The system is hanging when i try to view the preview pdf.
The XML file size is approximately 33 MB.
Please let me know if there is any way we can increase the memory size to see the output.
    Thanks,

  • 2 or more Sales Quotatons in one XML file

    Hi,
i wanted to know if i can tranfer 2 or more sales quotations to SB1 using only one XML file or do i have to split so that every sales quotation will have a seperate XML file?
    Thanks, udi

The person just opened some additional window using Window > New window. Perhaps to have different Views of the file and not having to scroll all the time.
You can easily fix it by just closing the windows. It does no harm to the file. When you save with only one window open, next time you open will also be one window.

  • Multiple free goods for one item in standalone CRM

    Hi Gurus,
We are trying to implement multiple free goods for one item in standalone CRM.
As per SAP.help.com, it says that we can configure multiple free goods scenario in standalone CRM system.
We tried to set up this in our system.  Basically we want to implement the scenario, where a user wants to  purchase item A, he should get a prompt for choosing between two free goods  B and C.
We did the relevant IMG settings required for Free goods at  IMG ->CRM -> Basic Functions -> Free Goods.-> Set up Free Goods
We also did the relevant item category determination where we have made an entry with
Item Usage = " Free Goods" , Main item cat. = "TAN' , Item Category = "TANN".
Now we went to create condition records in the path  "SAP Menu -> Master Data -> Prices and Conditions -> SAPCND/GCM - Maintain condition"
We chose Application ="PRT", MaintenanceGrp="PRT_FGOODS", Maintenance context ="GCM"
Then while creating conditon records , when I try to create two condition records where the Main Product is same but free good product is different, the system is not allowing to save these two condition records.
it is giving error "Overlapping validity periods for two condition records".
Please advice, if i am missing something. Thanks in advance for your help.
    thanks,

Constraints in free goods in R3 taken from SAP library
Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: u2018With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of chargeu2018 or u2018If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of chargeu2018.
Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.
This answers your qn Not possible in R3
If you are on Retail scenario this is possible thro bonus buy schemes
But a lot of customizations needs to be done and you need a retail server to do that

  • Multiple free goods for one main material

    Hello SAP Gurus,
we have a business requirement that to issue multiple free products for one main product, if the upliftment is beyond the specified quantity.
Using free goods functionality, is it possible to achive the above requirement.
    e.g                                                     Quantity

    free goods             xxxxx                           2
    free goods             yyyyy                           1
is it possible to maintain such data thru free goods or any development needs to be done.
